Conservative People
Conservative in their ways and in their thinking they do not embrace change in any way
They fear change as a threat to their existence as conservative through their lives they do stay
They resist change as if change is quite harmful as things were they wish them to remain
Their flawed values of rank and class distinction are things that they do fight hard to retain
Conservative people change not known to welcome on any change they like to have their say
They crave respect for their old ways of thinking whilst respect to those who want change they don't pay
No thanks to them that changes are occuring since they want to keep us tied to the past
They cannot accept that time brings with it changes that nothing as it was does seem to last,
Conservative people always in abundance their type never have been known to be rare
They live in Villages, Towns and in Cities you can meet their kind of person anywhere
To them change is something that should be resisted to the old ways with reverence they do cling
They fear change as much as they do fear the reaper as if indeed change were a dangerous thing
Suppose it takes all kinds to make up humanity and conservative people will always fight change
They look on people who to them are different as those who are untrustworthy and strange.

Changes Are Natural
The perfect English summer day.
Is very seldom seen today
When skies are blue and clouds are few.
Although I know they used to do.
Long ago when I was small
They often came I can recall.
Playing in the summer sun
with my friends just having fun.
Though nowadays we see more rain
For reasons that I can't explain.
Although the experts say they can
They firmly place the blame on man.
Personally I cannot agree.
Changes happen naturally.
Although my views may seem perverse
I do believe the universe.
Dictates the pace of climate change.
When it decides to rearrange.
The patterns we have been used to
There's very little we can do.
We have no choice but to accept.
We do not know what to expect.
The universe has power to
Do precisely as it wants to do.
Climate changes in the past.
Have come and gone they did not last.
The human race is not to blame
We're minor players in the game.
Looking back at history
It seems quite obvious to me.
We lack the power to reverse
Decisions of the universe.
Long before man came on the scene.
We know quite well that there have been.
Climatic changes now and then.
The experts need to think again.
But experts are reluctant to
accept they need to change their view.
They can't face the reality.

Of Global warming and climate change we read of and hear
The changes in our natural environment gives us reason to fear
Of what does lay ahead for the children of today
We've brought climate change forward by centuries it does seem that way.
The polar ice caps are melting at an alarming rate

To combat global warming we've left it a bit late

'Tis said that Bangladesh and Holland will be covered by the sea
And that climate change and global warming will cause World-wide poverty
Yet the advice of climate experts we do never seem to heed
Our disrespect for Mother Nature to our own demise may lead

I think that, on the reconciliation issue, if they had the votes, we wouldn't have had the summit. And if they try to go through reconciliation, it will be a change in semantics. They seem to think that nothing can change the Ottawa atmosphere,
But we only need binding referendums to interfere,
Elections only change the names in our democracy,
This is good enough for those in the present aristocracy.
We need a death-with-dignity program and we need it soon,

But they’re busy making appointments to the Senate or High Court,
