Also minimalism is a term that all of us who share so little in common and who are lumped together as minimalists are not terribly happy with.

Solace Amongst The Sin
Farewell to the west now
And welcome, to the east
Farewell to the one who raked, the sand beneath my feet
Thank you for the space we shared, and the heart and soul my friend
I will see you through the colours, between the mountains as the sun decends
Oh we twisted and we reflected upon a grin
Common ground we walked upon, with common feelings & common things
Yes it is a cruel world, but there is solace amongst the sin
Peace to you for now we'll share again, we'll share again
Farewell to the west now
My mind is open to the east
To all the new faces, new minds & things to see
I am alone here, and my heart at times it weeps
You will see me through the colours, as the sun sinks in the sea
Oh we twisted and we reflected upon a grin
Common ground we walked upon, with common feelings & common things
Yes it is a cruel world, but there is solace amongst the sin
Peace to you for now we'll share again, we'll share again
Oh we twisted and we reflected upon a grin
Common ground we walked upon, with common feelings & common things
Yes it is a cruel world, but there is solace amongst the sin
Peace to you for now we'll share again, we'll share again
We will share again
We'll share again
Hmmm, hmmm, oh my friend we'll share again
Oh we will share again

Knock Outs Drops A Head
Keeping it up is tough.
And it's not easy.
Many are found wearing their frowns.
Uppercuts are thrown.
And knock outs,
Drops a head.
Wild punches hit in those puckers,
Crunch.
Leaving heaps together lumped.
Keeping it up,
Is tough.
When lumped,
Together.
Keeping it up,
Is tough.
And rough...
When lumped together.
Keeping it up,
Is tough...
When uppercuts are thrown.
And knock outs drops a head.
Keeping it up,
Is tough!
And isn't easy.

The Hero To You Not A Hero To Me
Suppose we all do look at things differently
The hero to you not a hero to me
Your hero renowned for his skills at football
Yet the hero to some not a hero to all
If on everything we did happen to agree
How utterly boring indeed we would be
Our different ways makes us more interesting as some like to say
No two look at life in exactly in the same way
You have your own hero and that suits me fine
But your sort of hero could never be mine
Of our different views on life I am all too aware
And so little in common we do have to share
We don't share common friends or we don't share common foes
Which makes us seem more interesting one would have to suppose.

Warmth isn't what minimalists are thought to have.
We Are Near Life's Finish Line
I feel happy for you mister on your huge superannuation payout
You've earned it so you can relax that's what life should be about
You and your wife can dine out better now and drink more expensive wine
Yet you and I only one thing in common share we are near life's finish line.
You tell me you worked as an engineer for the local council and you earned good take home pay
But you had to provide for and raise five children that's life or so they say
Still others on less than half of your wages raise their big family
And many must live till the day they die in abject poverty.
I do wish you well mister may your retirement years be great
Though you I won't be out golfing with and I'll never be your mate
You are just a well dressed fellow with your wife walking in the park
Though your dog doesn't seem to like me and at me he always bark.
Our lifestyles seem very different but that can be said of most
And I won't be there on your birthday for your happy birthday toast
But we share one thing in common with the vegetarian kine
The Reaper for us is waiting as we are near life's finish line.

I am confused.. I am happy
I use to think i was happy with being in love with him...
That no matter what happend i would remain happy...
All because he was in my life...
But now... I just dont know...
I met another guy that is just as amazing...
We have so much in common...
And he has 'liked' me for 3 years...
Now i cant help but wonder... Am i happy still?
I still dont know...
But I am now dating him..
I think it will work out...
I think i might be happy again...
And all that was wrong will be right..
I will be happy! ! !

My Sunshine thoughts 131106
friends are here to support u in bad moments,
and to be happy with u in happy moments,
so i want u to tell me anything u want,
not only happy things, but sad too..
if u just want me happy, then u r not my friend.
friends are to share anything
i will be happy if u continue to be my friend
meaning, that u share with me all ur sad and happy moments

A Local Outsider
To the local community he is not one of their own
And apart from them in every way he has grown
He does not share their interests of work, sports, small talk, drinking and football
In fact with them in common he has nothing at all.
He works in the big town some twenty miles away
But he returns to his home in the small town every day
Single in his mid twenties in the peak of his prime
And he does feel happy at least most of the time.
A spiritual person and an artist at heart
In community meetings and projects he never takes part
He draws and sketches at night and his art readily sell
And as a hobby artist he is doing well.
He was born in the small town but it does seem sad to say
That as a local outsider he is destined to stay
Even with those he grew up with little in common he share
He is an endangered species and his type are rare.
He is not a student of sports or football
And who won last year's Grand Final he does not recall
And though his praises none of the other locals do sing
He is his own man and he does his own thing.

Oh No No
I remembered what it would be like...
To be bumped and humped.
And then to be dumped...
With a heart that's lumped.
I remembered what it would be like...
To be bumped and humped.
And then to be dumped...
With a heart that's lumped.
I couldn't imagine...
This,
Would happen to me.
Oh no no.
A drunkard laying in the streets.
Forgetting where I left my keys.
Wobbling to stand on feet.
To drag and stagger.
A drunkard laying in the streets.
Forgetting where I left my keys.
Wobbling to stand on feet.
To drag and stagger.
I couldn't imagine...
This,
Would happen to me.
Oh no no.
I remembered what it would be like...
