I could only speak in the smallest, most intimate circles about the real reasons which made me undertake the changeover of the plants for certain lines of production for I had to expect that many people would not understand me.

We are told that the first part of the process is to select the very smallest seeds from the smallest plants, which is not at all unlikely, but I cannot speak to the fact from my own observation.

The Same Story, The same History
...and so the same story is told
the same history is made....
why always speak of descrimination
why always speak of war
why always speak of class
why always speak of injustice
why always speak of poverty
why always speak of rebellion....
why not speak of equality
why not speak of peace
why not speak of respect
why not speak of wisdom
why not speak of production
why not speak of working together...
...and so the same story is told
the same history is made.

The Lost Lines And The Lost Pages
THE LOST LINES AND THE LOST PAGES LEAVE NO TRACE
The lost lines and the lost pages leave no trace
There is no way to recovery
It is a one – way journey after all
Those who had hoped to live forever by recording all that they have ever done
Have been painfully surprised by the disappearance of the universe
That Asteroid that landed in the heart of all we are
Or perhaps that chain of violence in which our own Ugliness did us in
Or perhaps some other manufactured artificial virus
Or who knows what and why
There is simply too much future Time
Not to die at some point in it
The lost lines and lost pages are small and insignificant
We are in all we are also
Small and insignificant
Why God made us and what God really does
We will never truly understand
Small is all and we are smaller even than the smallest part of any thing
Nothing is and nothing was and nothing will be
Only now in the silence
As I anguished write this
Not believing wholly a word I have said
I wonder again why God made me
And if and how and what and why and where
We are all just not anything real or good or true or beautiful or love.

I have more artistic control in a smaller show. But it doesn't really matter. Sometimes you can have the smallest role in the smallest production and still make a big impact.

Designs
Circles and lines
are by design
how some move in life.
Those in circles
keep spinning around
and seem to get nowhere.
Those in lines
move straight ahead
as if they're always aware
of what's up ahead.
They do not dread
their future at all
until they hit a wall.
And then they join
with those in circles
and get stuck
spinning around.
Lines can stop.
Circles do not
and so what we've got
is LIFE.

People Expect Too Much From Me
aug,11,2010
people expect me to be perfect,
because i'm smart,
people expect me to get good grades,
because of all the hard work i put in,
people expect me to have my own business,
because i can be talented and creative,
people expect me to be a push over,
rather than a girl who speaks her mind,
people expect me to be something i'm not,
but all i can be is only myself,
people expect me to deal with life,
i can only deal with it the best i can,
people expect me to handle more than i can,
but who is it really for or what do i have to prove?
people expect me to be who they want,
but did they ever stop to think of what i wanted?

Checkered Existences
what we always see here are blocks
blue straight lines blurring
on a crisscross of other blurring blue lines
square jawed abstracted as same squares
nothing delineated
no tendrils here just trunks and trunks
squared and
straightened with so much grief
and regret
feeling the loss of other forms and shapes
like circles or irregular patterns
of the weaknesses of humanity
(purposely you are made not to understand
the rationale for delineated patterns)
gaping mouth, shocked hairs, cut nails,
hammering screams of
abandoned children inside that egg-shelled
room
opaque, vague and begging for a clarification
he comes with a shaking shoulder and says 'You are right there is nothing
in there'
it is dark, and the world is stark
people work so hard to understand and find the reasons
ah, this arrival at nothing like the way your lover tells you
meet me there i will give you love and lots of what you desire
only to find out
'this is just imagined' a joke, a bluff, did you not know that?
the table on checkered mantel
polka dots dress of the fat spinster on the first day of the year
luck is still hoping.

Circles
Friends come and friends go
As I go round and round in circles
Love someone change your mind
Decide he was a swine
As you go round and round in circles
He who knows does not speak
He who speaks does not know
And I go round in circles
Dislike someone and will not bend
Later they may become your best friend
As life it goes around in circles
He who knows does not speak
He who speaks does not know
And I go round in circles
Soul takes on a body with each birth we make our date
With life and death along the road the soul reincarnates
The show goes round and round in circles
When loss and gain and up and down
Becomes the same, then we stop going in circles
Round and round in circles

Corn Circles
Corn circles
Appearing all over the land
Corn circles
Appearing all over the land
Nobody knows where they come from
Nobody understands
Corn circles
Mysterious symbols in the fields
Corn circles
Mysterious symbols in the fields
No one knows - are they phony
Or maybe are they real?
Corn circles!
Corn circles!
Corn circles
Is somebody playing a trick?
Corn circles
Pixies, witches, hoaxers
Take your pick
Throw a few theories out there
See what sticks!
Corn circles!
Corn circles!
Corn circles
Patterns in the gold
Corn circles
Pretty patterns in the gold
Like something out of the future
Or something very old
Corn circles!
Corn circles!

Over your shoulder, please dont mind me
If my eyes have fallen onto your magazine
For Ive been watching and wondering
Why your face is changing with every line you read.
All those lines and circles, to me, a mystery.
Eve pull down the apple and give taste to me.
If she would be wonderful, but my pride is in the way.
I cannot read to save my life, Im so ashamed to say.
I live in silence, afraid to speak
Of my life of darkness because I cannot read.
For all those lines and circles, to me, a mystery.
Eve pull down the apple and give taste to me.
If she could it would be wonderful.
Then I wouldnt need someone elses eyes to see whats in front of me.
No one guiding me.
It makes me humble to be so green
At what every kid can do when he learns a to z,
But all those lines and circles just frighten me
And I fear that Ill be trampled if you dont reach for me.
Before I run Ill have to take a fall.
And then pick myself up, so slowly Ill devour every one of those books in the tower of knowledge.

We dont need space
the trees and plants
micmic the voices
of long gone tourists
during this low season
as you sleep in a near
empty island resort,
in the dead of night
the entire garden is alive
with chuckling voices
of men, whomen and children
they set upon the mind
intermittently while you
come in and out of your dreamland
a world dying to have fun
who says plants cant speak
do we really need mouth to speak
here the trees and plants in
their separate place are
acting out a real play they
have acquired from the holiday makers
and make it a fun in a really quiet night
who says we need mouth
to speak, eyes to see,
in a dream, the whole world
has come to us right within
the four corners of our bed
who says we need space to live
one day we are going to live
out of nothngness, right out
of this clumsy frame that
tolls bell of pain and deception

Sonnet: There Are Reasons for All Things
There must be reasons for the shaking leaves;
There must be reasons for the swaying trees;
There must be reasons for the drying sheaves;
There must be reasons causing any breeze.
There must be reasons for the waves at sea;
There must be reasons for ripples in pond;
There must be reasons for the sea briny;
There must be reasons for a mutual bond.
There must be reasons for the changing climes;
There must be reasons for both drought and rain;
There must be reasons for good and bad times;
There must be reasons for a boon or bane.
There must be reasons for all things on earth;
But not much reasons why men sin since birth!

Dont Speak
You and me
We used to be together
Every day together always
I really feel
That Im losing my best friend
I cant believe
This could be the end
It looks as though youre letting go
And if its real,
Well I dont want to know
Dont speak
I know just what youre saying
So please stop explaining
Dont tell me cause it hurts
Dont speak
I know what youre thinking
I dont need your reasons
Dont tell me cause it hurts
Our memories
They can be inviting
But some are altogether
Mighty frightening
As we die, both you and i
With my head in my hands
I sit and cry
Dont speak
I know just what youre saying
So please stop explaining
Dont tell me cause it hurts no no no
Dont speak
I know what youre thinking
And I dont need your reasons
Dont tell me cause it hurts
Its all ending,
I gotta stop pretending who we are...
You and me
I can see us dying... are we?
Dont speak
I know just what youre saying
So please stop explaining
Dont tell me cause it hurts no no
Dont speak
I know what youre thinking
And I dont need your reasons
Dont tell me cause it hurts
Dont tell me cause it hurts
I know what youre saying
So please stop explaining
Dont speak dont speak dont speak
No I know what youre thinking
And I dont need your reasons
I know you good I know you good
I know you real good oh
La la la la la la la la la
Dont dont ooh ooh
Hush hush darling
Hush hush darling
Hush hush dont tell me cause it hurts
Hush hush darling
Hush hush darling
Hush hush dont tell me cause it hurts

I read another poet I could not understand
I READ ANOTHER POET I COULD NOT UNDERSTAND
I read another poet I could not understand
The metaphors racing one after the other
The eternal thoughts taking on a new particular dress
Words and more words
Lines and more lines
Rushing toward meaning and beauty.
And in it all my simple not understanding,
My waiting to hear words that would return to me-
My understanding
That only by my own effort
By my reading again and again
By my willing to believe
Could I make another poet real.
But do I want another poet to be real
When I am a question,
And when there are already others real for me also?
Oh selfish little man oh poor poor reader-
Write your poem alone again
As if no one but you will ever be able to write
The poems which are real.

Sonnet: My Good Work Belongs to God
My work belongs to God and God alone;
I don’t expect rewards or citations;
If God allows it, it will come, one by one;
For long, I don’t expect imitations.
If I wish to tell people who God is,
And make them understand His love for Man;
I wish to them remind of Heaven’s Bliss;
That reaching it with ease, everyone can.
The words I write come from my mind and heart,
Inspired by good thoughts that God gives me;
Let people understand them through my art
And praise the Creator, wholeheartedly.
Let it help them to live, my Poetry,
And go to fruition like a healthy tree.

A List of Reasons
Sometimes I scream
I shout what I am feeling
Sometimes it hurts people
People I don’t mean to hurt
Sometimes people don’t understand
How sad I am
How lonely I feel
How lonely I have always felt
Sometimes people are afraid
They are afraid
That one day I will go to far
That one day I won’t be able to deal
With this world
Sometimes I am afraid
That no one cares
That no one notices
That what I write is real
What I feel is real
Sometimes people don’t understand
They don’t understand
How someone as happy as I seem to be
Can be so sad
So broken
So crushed
Sometimes people ask me why
Why am I like I am
I have a answer
But sometimes I am terrified
That if I tell someone
About what’s really going on
Then they’ll try to fix it
They’ll try to fix me
Sometimes I don’t want to be fixed
An Exhortation On Some Lines....
something is missing in your lines.
i regret to tell you that.
it does not speak well of yourself
or the world
or any moment, it is like a desert and all we have is space and
a horizon
there is even no wind to blow the sands away
i do not expect rain in the desert
but i could have seen a camel or a line of trucks or a
caravan
or even a Bedouin riding on his black horse with a scimitar
here i am again
in my worst self trying to tell you what to do so that you can be what you are
your lines are straight and too clean and that make them appear
dishonest
people love crooked lines and those that move in free directions
lines that are cold like the wind
and yet vibrant at night
not really dead, but simply grieving in silence for the loss of
someone so loved and missed.
i do not want you to change your lines, they are yours to
show,
i may be unfair wishing that your lines may be like mine
but mine are too sad and always sounding like a lover abandoned.
the beautiful lines are not clean.
they are imbued with our errors, erasures, blasting in our faces
like explosives
where shattered as we are on the fields of our disasters
only in a few seconds
we become silent spaces again.
mine are sad, and lonely and abandoned.
they are the only ones i have now, and so i must be compelled to
have them and love them
just the way they are.

Intimate Since We Met
Intimate since we met.
With no mention of it intended.
And feeling free not to defend it,
To experience this without regret.
It was as if this was meant to be.
A meeting of coincidence...
That began for us so innocent.
And intimate since we met.
A magnetic attraction we cemented.
First with our eyes,
Then to our surprise we kissed.
Feeling that tingle between us,
With a need to be together...
To explore more of it!
And we have been intimate,
Since we met.
With no mention of it intended.
And feeling free not to defend it!
To experience this without regret.
So blessed we are,
To share this added spice.
That increases in our happiness,
Each of us knew.
But did not expect...
Could reach and climb to further heights.
None that we dreamed of.
Or planned to invite.
Intimate since we met.
With no mention of it intended.
And feeling free not to defend it,
To experience this without regret.
It was as if this was meant to be.
A meeting of coincidence...
That began for us so innocent.
And did not expect...
When we met,
Could reach and climb to further heights.
Further with no intention...
To be this intimate,
Like this intimacy we have is meant.

Expect Your ………….You!
Expect your friend to be not better than you;
Expect your neighbor to not forgive you;
Expect your country not to goad you;
Expect your siblings to but discourage you;
Expect your children to not care for you;
Expect your spouse to rather hinder you;
Expect your love to always forget you;
Expect your home sometimes to ignore you;
Expect your native place to not honor you;
Expect the world to disregard you;
Expect your enemy to well hate you;
Expect your Maker to much love you;
Expect your God to never forsake you;
Expect your Lord and God to never abandon you.
