We approach people the same way we approach our cars. We take the poor kid to a doctor and ask, What's wrong with him, how much will it cost, and when can I pick him up?

You're in a much better position to talk with people when they approach you than when you approach them.

I am flattered that they think that many people would enjoy my work. I don't approach any genre a different way than I may approach another one. I treat every role I do like a role worthy of applying whatever kind of tactic, process and talent I have.

Republicans rejected calls for amnesty and we've fought efforts to provide illegal aliens with taxpayer funded benefits. The American people are far closer to our Republican approach to border security than they are to Nancy Pelosi's approach.

I am convinced that this approach, a mainstream Democratic approach, commands the strong support of the American people, and presents a sharp and compassionate contrast to the Republican abortion position which offers no real hope or commitment to mother or child.

Do not try to approach God with your thinking mind. It may only stimulate your intellectual ideas, activities, and beliefs. Try to approach God with your crying heart. It will awaken your soulful, spiritual consciousness.

Doctor, Doctor
Doctor, theres something wrong with me
My health is not all that it used to be
My heart is out of beat, I got chokers on my feet
My eyesights getting dimmer, I cant see
Doctor thanks for seeing me today, Im glad,
Ive got every sickness there is to be had
I had whooping cough last month
And today Ive got the mumps
And tomorrow Ill catch chicken pox as well.
Doctor doctor doctor make me well
Ive not got long to go now I can tell
Doctor doctor doctor make me well
Ive not got long to go I can tell
Ive not got long to go I can tell
Those pills I took have no effect at all
Just the other day I had a nasty fall
And I think I broke my jaw when it hit the kitchen floor
And Im shrinking last week I was five foot four
Ive been getting shivers lately, is it flu?
I know the bug is going round, what can I do?
Its about to pick on me, Ive still got the other three
Do you think I caught smallpox Id get flu?
[chorus]
Do you think its time that I made out my will?
Ill leave everything to you to pay my bill
Just how long is there to go
Please tell me I want to know
But on second thoughts dont tell me, Im too ill.

That's Good Business
It's a manipulation thing.
Of course...
If you tell people they are fantastic.
And convince them they are great.
They will do anything to keep that fed!
Even if they have to pay someone,
To keep that in their heads.
It's the 'I'm okay BUT you are marvelous' approach
To good duping!
And an excellent salesman,
Will always feed the ego of a suspected client first!
That's good business.
Some try the 'you-are-not-as-good-as-you-think-you-are' approach,
On some people!
Believing this establishes some kind of connection.
Only to find themselves quickly dismissed.
Especially by those who have been around a few blocks!
It is best to know the demographics...
Before applying any marketing techniques!
Some are great.
And then again...
Some fizzle and flop right on the spot!

That Time As We Know It
I wish there was another process,
To approach...
To go about this.
But there isn't one as an option.
There are those awaiting,
For that right time to come.
That right time to do as one wishes,
To put off to do and get those things done.
That right time to collect,
What it is that is needed believed to perfect...
A happiness surrounded with,
An exactness to accept.
Dictated and controlled as one expects!
I wish there was another process,
To approach...
To go about this.
But there isn't one as an option.
Yet...
That right time that begins for them,
Is as elusive as promises anticipated and made.
When God gives us time,
None of it can be saved.
Nor does that time God gives,
Contemplates in hesitation waiting.
I wish there was another process,
To approach...
To go about this.
But there isn't one as an option.

When I'm playing with the band or playing with some projects or some of my own stuff it's about the musical approach. That would be the more turntablist approach to things of where it's strictly about music.
I think the most important thing I work on is just my mental approach to every day, my mental approach to the game. How to come in each and every day focused, doing what I want to do, I think that's just the biggest issue.

This nation has always struggled with how it was going to deal with poor people and people of color. Every few years you will see some great change in the way that they approach this. We've had the war on poverty that never really got into waging a real war on poverty.

The approach of woman and man.
Woman treats men as tissue paper
When they approach for a night stand.
Man treat women as a dustbin
When they approach for money.
Must man and woman be cheap to each other?

Self Serving and Isolated Mindset
Everybody,
And his or her mama...
Has an opinion,
Of what President Obama should...
And should not do.
Suggesting Barack does not have the sense,
To approach the state of the economy.
Or provide a fix,
For their self imposed conflicts!
Or their addiction to decadence.
Even those thought of as 'pros'
Have their mouths opened wide,
When they should be the ones closed.
Behind prison bars...
And their miscalculations fully exposed.
It is with their 'wisdom' or lack of it.
The entire world has become a pile of horse...
Manure!
And I'm sure you get the 'drift' of this?
And now there is a leader who has insured,
No longer will the suffering of the people be endured.
With an approach that lacks of arrogance.
But with an honesty to be believed!
And an absence of deceit,
To begin a healing...
He hopes will inspire a cure!
A bleeding of respect,
Those of experience for many years accepted...
At the cost of their own neglect!
Has caused this global mess.
And too many are left conscious...
To realize who created the feeding greed,
Of those who 'have'...
And the 'have nots' falling,
Through wider gaps with less.
Everybody,
And his or her mama...
Has an opinion,
Of what President Obama should...
And should not do.
Suggesting Barack does not have the sense,
To approach the state of the economy.
Or provide a fix,
For their self imposed conflicts!
Or their addiction to decadence.
And he has done his very best...
To represent a nation of people,
Who have become lost and upset!
In a delusional,
Self serving...
And isolated mindset!

(Strategy Poem) A Different Way
Dropping down by surprise
coming at this from a different angle
A re-approach
The side approach
Coming in through the window
When the doors open.
Who say I want use it?
Maybe my way is better
You just never know.
A backwards letter
A dyslexic meaning
Can you still understand me?

Used Car Sales People
With the gift of the gab they would talk their way out of hell
These used car sales people they know how to sell
On their selling ability their jobs are at stake
The more cars they do sell the more commission they do make
On any deals they clinch they have never lost
And your trust on such people can come at a cost
The more cars they sell the more money they get paid
A hard job to succeed in the used car trade,
Shy and sensitive used car sales people one might say are rare
To sell one a car no effort they do spare
They have to sell cars or their boss them will fire
And other used car yard owners as car sales people them will not hire
The more cars they sell the greater is their pay
So to sell you a car they try every which way.

Cars Are Cars
Words & music by paul simon 1983
Cars are cars all over the world
Cars are cars all over the world
Similarly made. similarly sold
In a motorcade. abandoned when theyre old
Cars are cars all over the world
Cars are cars all over the world
Cars are cars all over the world
Engine in the front. jack in the back
Wheels take the brunt. pinion and a rack
Cars are cars all over the world
Cars are cars all over the world
But people are strangers
They change with the curve
From time zone to time zone
As we can observe
They shut down their borders
And think theyre immune
They stand on their differences
And shoot at the moon
But cars are cars all over the world
Cars are cars all over the world
Drive em on the left. drive em on the right
Susceptible to theft in the middle of the night
Cars are cars all over the world
Cars are cars all over the world
I once had a car
That was more like a home
I lived in it, loved in it
Polished its chrome
If some of my homes
Had been more like my car
I probably wouldnt have
Travelled this far
Cars are cars all over the world
Cars are cars all over the world
Cars are cars all over the world
Cars are cars all over the world
Cars are cars all over the world
