My parents taught me I could be anything in the world I wanted to be.

Our parents taught us to speak and the world taught us to be silent.
I was little there were times I wanted my parents to be normal. I wanted them to have a religion. I wanted them to have a job, like the parents of every other kid I went to school with.

Not Such A Bad Boy
I laughed at the teachers who taught in my school
They kept one arm bandits in the swimming pool
They dont understand me but they never will
And if was there Id be telling them still
Im not such a bad boy no more, no more, no more
Im not such a bad boy no more, no more, no more
I followed the leader into her tent
But nobody told me that she owed some rent
She wanted to love me, I wanted to go
But she taught me things that I needed to know
Im not such a bad boy no more, no more, no more
Im not such a bad boy no more, no more, no more
Im not such a bad boy no more, no more, no more
Im not such a bad boy no more, no more, no more
She wanted to love me, I wanted to go
Well she taught me things that I needed to know
Im not such a bad boy no more, no more, no more
Im not such a bad boy no more, no more, no more
I talked to my lawer, he picked up my bail
Wont someone get me out of this lousy jail
Were both in agreement that grime never pays
And I should be out in a couple of days
Im not such a bad boy no more, no more, no more
Im not such a bad boy no more, no more, no more
Im not such a bad boy no more, no more, no more
Im not such a bad boy no more, no more, no more

No one jumped, all were pushed
Those children wonder why
Why their parents seem to die
Each day they lose some life
And each day those children cry
.
Those mothers they weep
Those fathers they hold the heart that leaks
And those children they are what this world seeks
Because those children aren’t weak
.
The children they sit and watch
They watch their parents being eaten
The world they deem to be a place where everyone can be free
But, when they touch the street they only feel tension and heat
.
This world it burns
And this world it will eat
This world will be
What breaks your beauty
.
Growing up they will see
That no one wanted to fall down
No one wanted to let go
No one jumped they all stood only weak*
.
Trying to stand up straight
Trying to fight with faith
Trying to beat the world
But, only to pushed over and never found
.
Those children they sit and watch
And they in time become the weak*
They stand on the cliff
And just let the world push it’s the only way of becoming free*

Hope May Be... (please comment, project for english)
Hope may be…
Hope may be: us teenagers of this world in high schools and universities; hope is us teenagers fitting in this big and scary world; hope is us teenagers and our decisions to proceed to new passages.
Hope may be: us kids of this world; hope is the kids of this world and what route they decide to take in long run; hope is the kids of this world who will turn this world around.
Hope may be: our parents and what they wanted us to become in life, hope is our parents and what turn we decided to take within the paths they shaped for us.
Hope may be many things, hope is me and you- hope is all of us.
Hope is believing that us “dumb teenagers” will hold this world together another century.

Who does not obey the parents' word will be taught by the world.
Krishna children were taught that in the spiritual world there were no parents, only souls and hence this justified their being kept out of view from others, cloistered in separate buildings and sheltered from the evil material world.

My Farewell
My farewell is a long one, I just have a lot to say.
Farewell to all of my teachers, you have taught me well.
You have taught me to grow with the world and with society.
You have taught me everything I know, and I say 'Thank you! '
My farewell goes to all of my friends,
You have been great throughout the years.
You have taught me a lot about life.
You have been there through the hatred and the love,
Through the ups and the downs,
Through thick and thin,
You have proved yourselves worthy of being true friends.
And I just want to say, 'I love you all! '
My Farewell goes to my parents.
You have also taught me well.
You are the ones who taught me how to credit others that I love and care
about. You sat with me in the doctors office through those painful shots.
You have been through hell and back with me, literally.
You have seen me grow from a little girl to the woman that I am today.
Father, you are the one who is going to give me away at the alter someday.
And Mother, you are the one who is going to help me find the perfect dress for my wedding and you are the one who is going to help me prepare for it.
You are the ones who I can trust with my life and I just want you to know that I am grateful and that I will love you with all my heart.
I will never forget you!
My farewell goes to Auburn High School.
I don't care how much I have said that I hated this old Brick building, I have come to be comfortable with it.
And I just want to say,
'CONGRATS CLASS OF 2010! WE MADE IT THROUGH! ! !

I Wanted Everything
I heard about the Easter bunny
Presents under a Christmas tree
It was dreaming and fantasy
There was no Mom or Daddy
I wanted everything
I wanted everything
I wanted everything
I had the world on my shoulder
But I was getting older
Knew I was ready for it
Some kind of employment
I wanted everything
I wanted everything
I wanted everything
All day working on a truck
Bringing the groceries up
Not much of a salary
No tip for the delivery
I wanted everything
I wanted everything
I wanted everything
There's no success for me
Involved in a robbery
There's money in the supermarket
And I'm goin' after it
I wanted everything.

The motives of these parents vary, many parents don't like the curriculum being taught to their kids, or are wary of the threat of peer pressure or the presence of drugs or violence lurking in too many of our schools today.

I Understand. I Will Give You A Call Later
You can not be serious?
'Oh...
I am.'
But...
You can not be?
'Not only am I serious...
I had been speechless,
As well.'
She said 'what' to your next door neighbors?
Her parents.
These are 'her' parents...
Right?
'Yes!
She stated to them she was pregnant.
And wanted to have a better life,
For her and her child.
A life better than she was given.
So she decided to keep the baby,
And move in with her parents.
WITH her jobless boyfriend.'
Uh...uh...
'I had the same reaction!
When I first heard about this...
My mouth opened and wouldn't close either.'
Um...ah...wha..wha..uh...
'I understand.
I will give you a call later! '

All We Ever Look For
Just look at your father
And youll see how you took after him.
Me, Im just another
Like my brothers
Of my mothers genes.
All they ever want for you
Are the things they didnt do.
All they ever wanted--a little clue.
All they ever wanted--the truth.
All they ever wanted--a little bit of you.
All they ever wanted,
But they never did get.
The whims that were weeping for
Our parents would be beaten for
Leave the breast
And then the rest
And then regret you ever left.
All were ever looking for
Is another open door.
All we ever look for--another womb.
All we ever look for--our own tomb.
All we ever look for--ooh, la lune.
All we ever look for--a little bit of you, too.
All we ever look for,
But we never do score.
All we ever look for--a god.
All we ever look for--ooh, a drug.
All we ever look for--a great big hug.
All we ever look for--a little bit of you.
All we ever look for--a little bit of you, too.
All we ever look for,
But we never do score.

I love my parents. Coming out to them was sort of coming out to myself. I educated them, and I wanted our relationship to keep growing. I wanted them to be a part of my life still. I wanted to be able to share with them what I was going through.

Once it was the parents who taught their children to talk; now the children teach their parents to keep quiet.
Masters
I learned the art of drawing from the sky
learned music from the oceans.
Sun who taught me to fight
and the Moon who taught me to weep.
Arithmetic and Algebra I don't like,
but the twinkling stars helped me a lot to count figures.
Geography and History those are my best.
After the examination I waited for my results
and saw it's written in the sky.
My parents won't believe this
I got a zero for each subject.
I was upset and came running
searching everywhere the Life-Tavern
to have a cup of pain killer,
Then I saw a ragged beggar
Who's never been to a school
Taught me to smile.

What Children Want Their Parents to do …?
Allow me to be born, mother –
Into the world, God made;
And let me glorify my Lord
In life, before I fade!
Allow me to grow well, father,
Into a healthy child;
And let me do great feats on earth,
Unlike a flow’r in wild!
Give me some special love, mother,
And nurture me with care;
Do spend enough time with your child –
‘I am your earthen-ware! ’
Protect me father, while I’m young,
Support my life’s bare needs;
I do not want to be orphaned,
Or taught to do misdeeds!
Take care of all my wants, parents,
Climb me up life’s ladder;
The modern world gives bleak chances;
Keep me always gladder!
Help me to walk and run and play;
Help me to stand erect;
Help me to talk and read all day;
Help me to be perfect.
Do hug me, kiss me, embrace me;
Don’t cane me unfairly;
Bathe me, dress me and keep me clean;
Let me do things freely!
Oh, do not neglect me parents;
I need you by my side;
Until I’m old enough to stand
Alone, and in God abide!
Help me to realize my God,
In everything I do;
Oh, let me serve my Maker well,
Through fellowmen, and you.
Help me to show my love for you:
I am your flesh and bones;
Bless me that I may tend to you
When old, in moans and groans!
Look after me like your parents
Bestowed on you, their love;
This is the duty, God expects
All parents to do, prove!

Man Said No!
I wanted to build myself a boat
Everyone said that it wouldn't float
As carpentry and boating I do not know
So man unto me, he said no.
I wanted to plant myself a flower
I was told I couldn't without knowledge or a power
I wasn't a gardener so plants I did not grow
So man unto me, he said no.
I wanted to learn myself how to fly
But I was told if I did I would die
In the air to the ground I would crash below
So man unto me, he said no.
I wanted to cook and to become a chef
But I was told that I wasn't mature enough
If I lit a match I would cause and inferno
So man unto me, he said no.
I wanted to learn to play and to enjoy music
But I wasn't allowed to listen to it
I wasn't taught to sing or to play the piano
So man unto me, he said no.
I wanted to learn how to ski
But to my idea everyone did disagree
Everyone knew I loved the cold and the snow
So man unto me, he said no.
I wanted to live my life the way I should
Do what I believed and understand what I could
To my want's and idea's to all I did confess
So man he said no; but GOD he said yes.

I wanted to be self-sufficient, I wanted to take care of myself, and I wanted to learn. I wanted to travel, I wanted to see the world and have my eyes opened. I wanted to be consistently challenged, and I knew I needed to be creative in some way. When I got my job in a bar and I could pay for my tuition and go on auditions and sometimes get jobs that I loved and pay my rent, I knew that I would be all right. That's when my dreams came true, long before the telephone rang and someone said, 'Come and meet Tom Cruise'.
