When one buys some of my artwork I hope it is because they will wish to learn from it and not because they think it will match their drapes

Last night I had a dream
That suddenly I felt inspired and compelled
To paint a brand new picture.
There I was with paints
Here, there and everywhere,
In a darkened room with this painting
Being created before my very eyes,
The beautiful mixture of shapes,
Forms and vivid colours.

The magnificent outcome was
Something wonderful to me.
Then I realised that next to other paintings
This was merely an average creation,
Nothing outstanding that would
Stand the test of time.
Just another artwork framed
And fixed to a wall, just there
Because I painted it,
Not for anything brilliant or first class
Or some masterpiece.

But when I go online
And search Ebay for artwork
Or visit comic art websites
Or the artists' websites,
Then I find I'm searching a treasure
That only I will know as treasure
When my eyes find it.
Only then will the artwork be special,
Because I'm the one
Who holds it most precious.

Of all the artwork I've ever done,
Only a few are most precious to me.
These will never match the world's finest.
So I take special delight in finding treasure,
Here a little, there a little.
Even if it's not as perfect as I'd like,
Maybe I can enhance the photo image
To a greater degree
Using graphic editor programs and special effects
Or adding spectacular art frames
Around the enhanced image.

I like artwork and fantasy art is spectacular.
That's why I created this website
With a click-a-pic slideshow display.
In full screen height and width
And the effect is stunning!

How can anybody learn anything from an artwork when the piece of art only reflects the vanity of the artist and not reality?

Who Buys My Thought?

Who buys my thought buys not a bottle of honey
But strands of a hopeless future bottled up.

A future that is threatened
By mortal diseases threatened
The future of the African child.

Of eyes that look out and see an endangered tomorrow threatening an already imagined better future.

Who buys my thought buys not a haven of peace and bliss
But of battling thoughts.

Thoughts of what the future would be
The tomorrow of the African child.

Who buys my thought buys a strenous desire for a better tomorrow
A better tomorrow for the African child
Who buys my thought?

Sexiness should not be overt. Something shapeless that drapes across your hip, hangs off the shoulder; something that cowls in the front, drapes low in the back, that's sexy.

Shall I hope?

Shall we hope?

Shall we hope?
Hope for a better life?
Hope to feel like we actually live?
Hope for a chance to do things better?
Is there a reason for hope?

Shall we hope?
Hope to undo what’s been done?
Hope to be greater than we are?
Hope to learn to give and not take?
What’s hope?

I ask you, shall we hope?

To My Best Friend. With Love.

Ignoring
Doesn't that get boring?
I hope you cry at night
When there isn't anymore light

I hope that you shed a million tears
Since you deprived me of all my years
I hope your heart feels the pain
I always had, When it would rain

I hope you feel what it is to burn
Because that's the only way, You'll ever learn
I hope you can see in black and white
Because unlike you, I lost my sight

I hope you learn how to beg
So you could beg, to take back
Everything that you said

A coach can only teach.

A coach is not a match to his players.
Stamina matters.
A teacher cannot match his students;
Memory matters.
A preacher cannot match his disciples;
Staunchness matters.
A husband cannot match his cuckold;
Curiosity matters.
Can a ladder match the climber?

Learn

when broken
learn
when happy
learn
when bored
learn
when you float and does not know what to do
learn just the same
when filled with idealism
learn
when fed with what you cannot swallow
learn again
when the times get rough and you want to kill yourself
learn, learn, learn
you still have many things to learn
faces of life
bodies of life
learn, learn, learn everything
do not surrender

for in truth, you do not do what you only want
you will also do what you are told to do
no questions asked
or you will be left out
or you will be not a part of the picture
this life
learn, learn, learn, always learn
do not surrender
live, learn, live, learn
you will soon do all that others will tell you
learn, learn and learn again

and sooner you will have learned everything
and then do what you want to do
with firm conviction
you know now what is right
and that is what you will do,

now without even being told
you have become yourself

but still learn, learn, and learn again
because

you might be wrong,
try thinking some more, learn
relearn, learn, learn, learn, forevermore....

Were There Hope

I was never in a league of noble gentlemen
To whom she'd cast polite and flitting smiles,
Only distant hope and dying dreams for me!
Or perhaps descent into a game of wiles

To give a chance of sipping wine on heady nights
With her angelic presence to declare;
Above, an aura playing out hypnotic hues,
And I in awe of blonde cascades of hair.

But no! my tiring soul is sinking in a mire
To haunt me for an age and evermore, for
How could I expect to hold her silken hand
When I am but a soulless ghost of yore?

A Good Thing Called...Hope

Hope, anything that one wants, and at
the moment of 'hope' they do not have.

If hope were a feeling, I would hope,
it be one of honesty and integrity.
I would hope it would be love and empathy.

If hope were a food, I would hope it
would be filled with nourishment.

If hope were music, I would hope, it
was the kind of music, that you loved.

If hope were a sound, I would hope it
would by a symphony of love.

If hope were a religion, I would hope it
was your religion.

If hope were belief, then I would hope,
that belief would be, that there is one
Supreme Being; who is by-lingual and
of all faiths, and all creeds and colors.

If hope were knowledge, I would hope,
it had patience, understanding, the
ability of comprehending the other
persons point of view. I would also hope,
that it had an unquenchable thirst,
to continue to learn by experience and
research.

If hope could be seen, I would hope, all
would see, the good in their fellow man.

If hope were a wish, I would hope
that all your dreams, and ambitions
came true.

If hope were you...if hope were me, I
would hope, we never lost sight of
those less fortunate. I would hope
we would never be so self-centered
or busy, that we neglected to extend
a helping hand, to those in need.

Finally if you hope this ends, let me
conclude by saying....

If hope were a human, I would hope, that it
realized, that if we want a better world,
then we have to be better ourselves.

On Sunday It Rained

Right now, I keep telling myself that I will have hope
It will bloom and grow
I will keep it up, I will raise it yet again
Then on Sunday it will shine
But I never learn to stop taking risks
Even without luck
So I have hope
It blooms and grows
I keep it up, I raise it yet again
But then on Sunday it rains, doesn't shine
Like I always thought it would
But I never learn
So I still have hope
After all these years
I keep it up, I raise it yet again
But then on Sunday it rains, no sign of shining
Anytime soon
I still haven't learned, so I used to have hope
It bloomed and grew
I kept it up, I raised it yet again
But then
On Sunday it rained…
It can be good that I never learn
Because
One Sunday it shined

Real And True

To the crowded part of the street!
But more hidden like a peaceful sanctuary;
Words,
Views;
Acts,
Lovers;
Match,
Players;
With wonderful creations! !
But, real and true.

To meet the great one!
Through every artwork and paintings;
Calm and beautiful,
Overwhelmed with the muse of love,
Striaght through the crowded part of the street! !
But, tap on my shoulder made me look back;
And, there you were!
Tap, lap, sap, map, nap, cap, clap, bap, tap, gap;
But more hidden like a peaceful sanctury.

Nothing Can Match It

When one prays
They seek safe passage.
Nothing can match it,
When a faith stays.

And,
When one prays
They seek safe passage.
Nothing can match it
When a faith prayed stays.

Hope,
Nothing can match it.
With a faith.
Nothing can match it.
To initiate
Debate.
And,
When a prayer goes to the root
The feeling felt is absolute.

When one prays...
They seek safe passage.
Nothing can match it,
When a faith stays.

Hope,
Nothing can match it.
With a faith.
Nothing can match it.
To initiate
Debate.
And,
When a prayer goes to the root.
The feeling felt is absolute.

And,
When one prays.
They seek safe passage.
Nothing can match it...
When a faith prayed stays.

How Little Money Buys

IT'S FUNNY HOW LITTLE MONEY BUYS.
JUST CARS AND HOUSES AND FANCY TIES.
IT HAS NO MEANING WHEN SOMEONE DIES.
JUST TO HEIRS WHO COVET ITS SIZE.

IT WON'T PLANT TRUTH WHEN JUSTICE LIES.
JUST DISTORT TRUTH WHEN JUSTICE TRIES.
IT'S NO SOLUTION FOR LONELY SIGHS.
JUST A CRUEL IMPOSTOR IN DISGUISE.

IT CAN'T EMBRACE A CHILD WHO CRIES.
JUST GIVE SAD HOPE, NOT LOVE THAT'S WISE.
IT WILL NEVER BUY A SINGLE SUNRISE.
JUST STEAL DAYS PROMISING A FALSE PRIZE.

IT'S FUNNY HOW LITTLE MONEY BUYS.
JUST 'WHATS' OF LIFE, NOT PRECIOUS 'WHYS'.
