But if we have been willing to give our lives to this enterprise, which is for the honour of our country, I appeal to our countrymen to see that those who depend on us are properly cared for.

If You Just Give Me Freedom
If you just give me freedom,
On me you know you can depend,
On me...
You can depend.
If you just give me freedom,
On me you know you can depend,
On me...
You can depend.
With your love,
Give me freedom and you'll see...
On me,
You can depend.
On me you can depend.
Your faith in me will never end.
Give me freedom and you'll see...
On me,
You can depend.
On me you can depend.
A lover like no other lover.
Give me freedom and you'll see...
On me,
You can depend.
On me you can depend.
But I'm not the kind you think,
You can settle down to overload.
I'm not that ready.
And on 'that' you can depend.
If you just give me freedom,
On me you know you can depend,
On me...
You can depend.
If you just give me freedom,
On me you know you can depend,
On me...
You can depend.
But I'm not the kind you think,
You can settle down to overload.
I'm not that ready.
And on 'that' you can depend.

Reach Out, Ill Be There
(brian holland/lamont dozier/edward holland,jr.)
If you feel that you cant go on
cause all your hope is gone
And your life is filled with confusion
And hapiness is just an illusion
And your world around is tumblin down
Darling, reach out
Reach out, reach out
Ill give you all the love you need
Ill be there
You can always depend on me
I can tell by the way you hang your head
Your with out of love, now youre afraid
And through your tears you look around
But theres no peace of mind to be found
I know what youre thinking
Youre alone now, no love of your own
Darling, reach out
Reach out for me boy
Ill give you all the love you need
Ill be there
Hey baby, Im gonna be right there
You can always depend on me
You can always, depend on me
You can always, when things get tough
You can always, cuddle mee, see you through
You can always, depend on me
Whatever else you do
You can always, ring my phone
Yeah, you can always catch me at home
You can always cuddle me
You can always depend on me
You can always depend on me
You can always depend on me
You can always depend on me
You can always depend on me
You can always depend on me
You can always depend on me
You can always depend on me
You can always depend on me
When youre lost and about to give up
cause your best aint good enough
And you feel the world has grown cold
And youre driftin on your own
When you need a hand to hold
When you need a little love
Reach out, Ill be there
Reach out, Ill be there
Reach out, Ill be there
To give you all the love you need
Ill try ro give you all the love you need
Ill be there to love and shelter you
Ill be there to always see you through
To give you all the love you need
Im gonna give you all the love you need
Ill be there to love and shelter you
Ill be there to always see you through
To give you all the love you need
Im gonna give you all the love you need
Ill be there...

I Wish I Cared
(magne furuholmen)
To hold me closer or set me free
To trust completely or let it be
You dont know my destiny
You cant see what I can see
Hey - I wish I cared
Hey - I wish I cared
To love me truely or let me go
Inbetween I dont want to know
This is how it has to be
No more us and no more we
Hey - I wish I cared
Hey - I wish I cared
Once again, on the station
See your face in a crowd
Comes again the sensation
You cant hear yourself think
With their voices inside your head
Hey - I wish I cared
Hey - I wish I cared
I wish I cared
Yes I really do
I wish I cared
(hey) I wish I cared
Yes I really do
I wish I cared
(hey) I wish I cared
I wish I cared
(hey)

Let Kites Fly
Russians were always friend
Kept their promises till the end
Whether friendship treaty or otherwise
They have kept words with promises
I witnessed arrivals of jaguars
They were flying from very far
Landed first at near by base
It was nice to witness the chase
Indian air space is to be considered as holy scene
Never to be violated and ever to be seen
Countrymen look towards warriors and brave
Let enemy now watch their move properly behave
Countries near by borders are to be watched
Their intention is to be repeatedly searched
Not even full proof system may grant protection
Our brave soldiers and airmen may prove it with their action
I have observed Russians like best among best
We can trust them and line with them at least
Country owes so much in debt for noble gesture
Country was at peace in past with secured future
Love the way friends react
Judge them by words and their act
If we are safe and secure
Countrymen too can feel very much sure
Let kites* fly in the air
With enough of superiority to look fair
I was with the force as man of air
What a way to feel 'where eagles dare'
I salute to the friends and men behind machines
Their future and country's fate too shines
Let them perform the way when devil approaches
Sky may be the limit when it tries to reach
*Kites are referred to as aircrafts*

You Give Me Something
You give me somethin' i can depend upon
Just like the sun after the rain has gone
We're living in unusual times
The picture's changing everyday
It's hard to know which way to turn
There's a minefield whichever way
I see people runnin' everywhere now
All gettin' nowhere fast
I'm so glad i have something to believe in
Our love is built to last
You give me somethin' i can depend upon
Just like the sun after the rain has gone
So many times you've saved my life
I don't count 'em anymore
But i remember everyone
And i'm just glad you're not keepin' score
I feel like i'm guided by an angel
And i know just what it's worth
I never wonder if the grass is any greener
My heaven's here on earth
You give me somethin' i can depend upon
Something so deep i know i can't go wrong
I don't need to worry, you're
Everything i need
And i know my satisfaction's gauranteed
You give me somethin' i can depend upon
Just like the sun after the rain has gone
You give me somethin' i can depend upon
Something so deep i know where i belong

Islamic Tax
We should give tax
To make the government capable
Of performing its duties properly
Tax is for the welfare of the nation
And it is a way to reduce the gap
Between the haves and the have-nots
Tax should not be a burden for the people
And it should be imposed in such a manner
So that the masses are benefited from it
Tax is another way to go to paradise
And the countrymen should be aware of it
So that the government is not deprived
Of revenue that it deserves

The real heroes
Bearing the rage of elements
Far from their loved ones
Exposing their lives to danger
Yet remain firm and dedicated
To the safety of the country
They are real heroes who wake up in the night
When we are in the bed
They toil at the border
When we enjoy with our family
They also have families and friends
They also pine for them
But country is a priority for them
They forget everything for the sake of the country
They live for the country
And they die for the country
They are not among them who never miss
A single chance to earn money
And yet called heroes
These so called heroes put the honour
Of the country at stake
But our soldiers put their live at stake
To save the country from embarrassment
They are the pillars of the country.

Busload Of Faith
You cant depend on your family
You cant depend on your friends
You cant depend on a beginning
You cant depend on an end
You cant depend on intelligence
Ooohhh, you cant depend on god
You can only depend on one thing
You need a busload of faith to get by, watch, baby
Busload of faith to get by
Busload of faith to get by
Busload of faith to get by
You need a busload of faith to get by
You can depend on the worst always happening
You can depend on a murderers drive
You can bet that if he rapes somebody
Therell be no trouble having a child
You can bet that if she aborts it
Pro-lifers will attack her with rage
You can depend on the worst always happening
You need a busload of faith to get by, yeah
Busload of faith to get by
Busload of faith to get by
Busload of faith to get by, baby
Busload of faith to get by
You cant depend on the goodly hearted
The goodly hearted made lamp-shades and soap
You cant depend on the sacrament
No father, no holy ghost
You cant depend on any churches
Unless theres real estate you want to buy
You cant depend on a lot of things
You need a busload of faith to get by, woh
Busload of faith to get by
Busload of faith to get by
Busload of faith to get by
Busload of faith to get by
You cant depend on no miracle
You cant depend on the air
You cant depend on a wise man
You cant find em because theyre not there
You can depend on cruelty
Crudity of thought and sound
You can depend on the worst always happening
You need a busload of faith to get by, ha

The whole country is full of enterprise. Our common schools are diffusing intelligence among the people and our industry is fast accumulating the comforts and luxuries of life. ... It is not strange, however much it may be regretted, that such an exuberance of enterprise should cause some individuals to mistake change for progress and the invasion of the rights of others for national prowess and glory.

America Lives (Written at age 14)
America lives,
For you and for me,
With all she can give,
On land and on sea.
She has a grand flag of red white and blue,
She has her storms her droughts and her showers
She isn’t very old, in fact she’s quite new,
She’s even one of the world great powers.
We have been in many wars, yes so many,
Yet all through this America thrives,
Then in the end, we can give not a penny,
Yet we fight on and give up our lives.
Our lives that we love so dear, we give,
Just so that our great country,
America,
Can, and does live.

What Shall I Do For the Land that Bred Me
What shall I do for the land that bred me,
Her homes and fields that folded and fed me?—
Be under her banner and live for her honour:
Under her banner I’ll live for her honour.
CHORUS. Under her banner live for her honour.
Not the pleasure, the pay, the plunder,
But country and flag, the flag I am under—
There is the shilling that finds me willing
To follow a banner and fight for honour.
CH. We follow her banner, we fight for her honour.
Call me England’s fame’s fond lover,
Her fame to keep, her fame to recover.
Spend me or end me what God shall send me,
But under her banner I live for her honour.
CH. Under her banner we march for her honour.
Where is the field I must play the man on?
O welcome there their steel or cannon.
Immortal beauty is death with duty,
If under her banner I fall for her honour.
CH. Under her banner we fall for her honour.

man and his God
God made the country,
and man made the town;
countrymen have the smile
and townsmen the frown.
fountain water to country side
and swimming pool to the town,
field fresh food to country folks
and frozen foods to the clowns.

I, The Soldier
I killed a man today, did not know his name
I did not know his history, I am the one to blame
I searched his pocket for grenades and guns
Found a photo of his three little children having fun
His body is lying there still and cold, no breath of air
I look in his eyes, I am not allowed to ask if it's fair
But I have to be strong because I am a soldier at front
And I fight for my countrymen and I am a part of this man hunt
I am glad I am alive and I am longing to meet my wife
My child who must be waiting for me, they are my life
I wish I could hug them, cuddle them for eternity
Till I could feel the distance no more sneaking inside of me
But I have to be strong because I am a soldier at front
And I fight for my countrymen and I am a part of this man hunt
I have not seen my home for months and it is eating me inside
I have forgotten the taste of food and the looks of a butter knife
I am loaded with weapons and ammunitions push my shoulders down
But I have to walk, for my country, for my state, for my town
We don't sleep sound at night with the fears of confrontation
Now my rifle is my body part and bullets are my bourbon
But I have to be strong because I am a soldier at front
And I fight for my countrymen and I am a part of this man hunt
I don't want to kill anybody, it haunts me
At night I can feel their spirit, hallucinations I see
I look in the mirror and see only blood and corpses around
The cries of widows and orphans is the only sound
The nights are scary with in my sleep deprived eyes
The days are frightening trying to save what's left of my life
But I have to be strong because I am a soldier at front
And I fight for my countrymen and I am a part of this man hunt
I do this for my country but when I will be back
No one thanks me, there is no one to pat my back
They don't realize the nights I have lost so they could sleep
The wounds I have endured so that they could have treats
They don't see the picture, they are just happy for a movie
When hundred lost lives so that they can be free
I begin to wonder, if it is really overrated to be a soldier
The picture must be worth a thousand words and much bigger
I wonder who am I, what am I doing away from home, my home
But I fight, because I am a soldier, a protector of the prone
I am the righteous protecting what is right and worthy of dying for
I live for my family, I die for my country, my men, my corps.

Salute
Thousands of words or applause,
Complete silence or mere a pause,
Will do nothing or serve the purpose,
When people not react and suppose,
Civilizations old mushroomed and perished,
Continents surfaced, remained for long and finished,
Races fought relentlessly and still survived,
Was it not cherished dream this is being still revived?
Racial abuse and discrimination is still hunting,
It is biggest slur and still we ignore and counting,
No efforts or slight pressure is mounting,
No condemnation or regret amounting,
Sincere gratitude and salute,
Who rise and not remain mute
To those who refuse to surrender,
Not rest and silently wonder,
Highest honor to land and mother land,
Strongest protest with raised hand,
Refuse to accept honour from country,
Which commits abuse and bar the entry?
Thousands might have laid down,
Precious lives for city and town,
Time to remember them for bravery,
To free the world from mock slavery,
To return the honour of doctorate,
Worry for country and people to educate,
Remove the ills and totally eradiate,
Country first then honour immediate,
When country’s honour is at stake?
How to think of bread and sweet cake,
Refuse to acknowledge and accept the award,
Thousands of salute to a brave as reward

Veteran
They preferred death to honour
No to life for dishonour
To die for the cause
Constant move with no let or pause
It may be need of an hour
Better lay down life than to lie on floor
Death may not wait and come fast
You will not have time to breathe your last
Chances for bright life may recede
You may fight the war but not concede
Who knows when death may make fast visit?
You will find hell is let loose and find exit
Country may not know it so soon
Bodies may be flown in bright noon
Countrymen may weep and lay a wreath
May mourn and offer roses on death
You may be down in history as hero
Over night change of status from zero
You may be nobody but never forgotten
You may shine as lamp from small lantern
Veterans were not war mongers
They were true sons and messengers
They made smooth and easy passage
Countrymen can lead life with peaceful message
Why one may need to risk the life?
When he has happy life and wife
Soldiers face this dilemma in entire span
He may not bother where does he belong or clan
He doesn’t need any action plan
He may swim across as white swan
We may not remember his small contribution
Keep trophies ready for bravery and distribution
Remember he is true and brave son
We should portray him well with reason
Country may offer so much with sole concern
How can we forget our comrade and veterans?
