But I think the bottom line right now is to take the constructive criticism and use that to build toward, as I say, the hurricane season that is 100 days away. And we don't have a lot of time to waste before we start to address that next set of challenges.

And one of the things I want to say, Wolf, is we're 100 days from hurricane season, and we've got to start focusing on what we're going to do to make ourselves ready for the next hurricane.

Lost & Found
Waiting for the hurricane
To hit new york city
Somebody said its hit the bay
This is the nitty gritty
And all the bag ladies
Better put their acts together
Were near the eye of the storm
This is really heavy weather
We were lost and found, in the nick of time
While the ship was going down
We were lost and found, just in time
With the hurricane crossing the coast line
We were lost and found, just in time
Oh
This thing is bigger than the both of us
Its gonna put us in our place
We were lost and found, just in time
Now weve got no time to waste
Theyre putting up the barricades
Because the hurricane is heading up this way
So wont you come in from the cold and the pouring rain
And the old see dog says shiver me timbers
The skys gone black
And its like the dead of winter
We were lost and found in the pouring rain
When the hurricane swept across the coast line
This thing is bigger than the both of us
Its gonna put us in our place
Were gonna see what really matters
When you see that storm stare us in the face
We were lost and found
And we beat the fear
We came through the storm
Now it all seems clear
We were lost and found, standing here
Looking at the new frontier
Lost and found, just in time
With the hurricane crossing the coast line
Lost and found, just in time
With the hurricane crossing the coast line

Waste Of Time
you want to think I have a problem
well think again it lies within you
you act so rude and immature
ill act the same I wont acknowledge you
but yet you still want to run your mouth
well why even waste your time
I despise your whole existence
and that's the bottom line
your a waste of time
don't waste my time
no need for adolescent gossip
fact is that you need to grow up
don't concern yourself with my life
because I could care less what you do
you say hello to my face
ingrates and sellouts to our backs
its no miscommunication
guts is something that you lack
your a jealous bitter waste of time
there is no need to pretend
I don't owe you a thing
don't act like we are friend
you wonder why I feel like this
come on open up your eyes
your all mindless and gutless
that is why I say
I could care less what you do
your just a waste of time

Master & Slave
Life, a movie in my head
A page of lines we read
The words remain unsaid
Time, a race you never win
Look back at where we've been
And throw the towel in
(chorus)
Every time i see a sign
Tell me what's the bottom line
Tell me
I just wanna take my turn
Now before i crash and burn
Yeah
Hope, a candle burning bright
A temporary light
'till we return tonight
Love, the mighty drug we crave
The master and the slave
Will rule us to our grave
Everytime i see a sign
Tell me what's the bottom line
Tell me
I just want a place to rest,
Count to four and catch my breath
One, two, three, four...
I don't know what to feel
Don't know what to say
Don't know what to do
I don't know where to go
Don't know who to be
Don't know who to know
Life is never what it seems
It shakes you from your dreams
Wake up and start to
Everytime i see a sign
Tell me what's the bottom line
Tell me
I just want a place to rest
Stop and let me catch my breath
Everytime i see a sign
Tell me what's the bottom line
Tell me
Forget all that i've been told
I just wanna lose control
Everytime i see a sign
Tell me what's the bottom line
Tell me
I just wanna take my turn
Now before i crash and burn

Truly, the challenges we face are not Democratic challenges or Republican challenges. In fact, they are not political challenges at all; they are fiscal challenges, and educational challenges, and the challenges of figuring out how to take care of each other.

Hurricane Season (1995)
‘Tis a season bringing fear
(Beginning June 1st each year) ,
With destructive winds and rain:
The season of the hurricanes.
For costly time our city vied
In June, nineteen ninety-five,
When on the very second day,
A hurricane was in array.
June third of ninety-five,
Hurricane Alison passed us by.
And again, Savannah is blessed
And grateful for a haven’s rest.
Each year, this little prayer I pray:
“Dear Lord, keep the storms away.
While the perilous season lasts,
Protect us from potential blasts.

Love Soon
I know youve been sworn
I read your complaint
Youre needing someone older
And though Ive been warned to live day by day
Theres something taking over
Did you expect to kiss me one time
While looking at me with the same eyes ever again?
So come on and face it
So come on and face it
Its time that we say it
You can cross the line whenever you want to
Im calling it love soon
Close your mind and waste some time if you have to
Im calling it love soon
Its not about you now
Its what we are
Your mother complains that you need a man
You havent mentioned me yet
And all of your friends dont know who I am
Ive been your best kept secret
I understand I wasnt part of the plan
A dollar short, a minute early
But I am your man
So come on and face it
So come on and face it
Its time that we say it
You can cross the line whenever you want to
Im calling it love soon
Close your mind and waste some time if you have to
Im calling it love soon
Its not about you now
Its what we are
Lets bypass the bullshit and move on because
The minute hand moves faster than you think it does
And by no fault of yours and by no fault of mine
The bottom line is laying in the bed that weve been playing in tonight
Im calling it love soon
Im calling it love soon
You can cross the line whenever you want to
Im calling it love soon
Close your mind and waste some time if you have to
Im calling it love soon
Its not about you now
Its what we are

The Bottom Line
Rick astley
When we were out dancing the other night
You almost got me into another fight
You always want to prove youve got the touch, baby
To make all the other guys want you so much
But if you ever do that to me
Just one more time
I swear to you that I will blow
And baby thats
(chorus)
The bottom line
The bottom line
If you really love me like you say
Wouldnt keep on hurting me this way
You always turn away when I call your name
And baby things just stay the same
So if you ever do that to me
Just one more time
I swear to you that I will blow
And baby thats
(repeat chorus)
Here we go
Youve got to believe its over
Youve got to believe its true
Youve got to believe its over
And were through
Youve got to believe its over
Youve got to believe its true
Youve got to believe its over
And were through
The bottom line
The bottom line
The bottom line
All that you have ever done for me
Is show just how rotten life can be
But this has taught me one thing thats for sure yeah
Ill never let that girl back through my door
And if she ever does that to me
Just one more time
I swear to you that I will blow
And baby thats
(repeat chorus two times)
Id like to thank you all for coming this evening
All you people all you people out there
Youre all beautiful
I wanna take each and every one of you home with me tonight

On The Way To The Bottom
On the way to the bottom
I met an ole friend of mine
He said 'Buddy, I do believe
this is the end of the line'
I said 'The end of the line'
Shoot, come on and have another round
And if we're headin' for the bottom
We still got a long way down
On the way to the bottom
We make a lot of stops
And we'd meet a lot of fools
Just a bustin' their hearts
On the way to the top
Pass me another bottle
And turn down the lights
Forget about tomorrow, baby
We're gonna rumble tonight
I'll wear my low heeled boots
You wear your taffeta gown
and if we're heading for the bottom
we'll go laughing all the way down
On the way to the bottom
I met an ol' girl of mine
She said 'Honey, I'm scared,
Won't you love me one more time?'
I said 'One more time?'
Shoot, about a million more
We had a whole lotta loving
And a whole lot more in store

The Option To Do As You Please Clause
The bottom line,
Is needing no signature.
Or a validation of that which takes place.
The bottom line,
Whether definitions are agreed upon or not...
Will ensure a captivating of attention,
Regardless of the frowns shown...
On faces demanding they are entitled,
To additional suitable options.
'But we have not agreed upon the options!
And we protest the tone of your delivery.'
~And again...
As you can see,
This bottom line is quite specific.
You will notice...
The Option To Do As You Please Clause,
Has been eliminated.
Thank you for reminding me.
Sometimes I forget to use,
My velvet vocal touches.
How's this?
More soothing?
Take your time.
Read it again!

The World's Not Waiting (For Five Tired Boys In A Broken Down Van)
this might just be a waste of time
but there's no one I'd rather waste my time with than all of my best friends
so start the car up, we'll all take turns but not for the worst
we're all "has-beens" and "never-were's"
and we're all in the back singing "Roxanne" just watching life pass us by
pass us by
as if we cared enough to try and catch up
enough to make up for lost time
we've been down, we've been out, we've been hanging 'round
tip our glasses to having no direction
start the van, get me out of this one horse town, waste this night

Hurricane 2000
It's early morning
The sun comes out
Last night was shaking
And pretty loud
My cat is purring
And scratches my skin
So what is wrong
With another sin
The bitch is hungry
She needs to tell
So give her inches
And feed her well
More days to come
New places to go
I've got to leave
It's time for a show
Here I am, rock you like a hurricane
Here I am, rock you like a hurricane
My body is burning
It starts to shout
Desire is coming
It breaks out loud
Lust is in cages
Till storm breaks loose
Just have to make it
With someone I choose
The night is calling
I have to go
The wolf is hungry
He runs the show
He's licking his lips
He's ready to win
On the hunt tonight
For love at first sting
Here I am, rock you like a hurricane
Here I am, rock you like a hurricane
Here I am, rock you like a hurricane
Here I am, rock you like a hurricane

Just Let It Go
He was the one for me
He made me feel alright
Now everything's gone wrong
We where so tight
He ain't the one
So just move on
It's time that you let it go
How can I now forget him
He's the only one
[Bridge]
Don't; don't waste your time
(Don't you waste your time)
There's a good thing waiting for you down the line
(Down the line)
Don't

Corporate Bottom Line
Shabbily they're seen and treated...
Workers jerked and losing perks.
Erased,
Are any raises in pay.
Everyday a job is outsourced,
To prevent a further loss.
And this is cost effective,
As a company directs!
Silk suits sit high to do their looting.
No matter who is booted,
To refine a bottom line.
And...
Silk suits sit high to do their looting.
No matter who is booted,
To refine a bottom line.
Uprooted to make beautiful,
A corporate bottom line.
Those recruited to dilute and choose...
A corporate bottom line.
Uprooted to make beautiful,
A corporate bottom line.
Those recruited to dilute and choose...
A corporate bottom line.
No excuses when it comes to boost,
A corporate bottom line.
Those recruited to dilute and choose...
A corporate bottom line.
Uprooted to make beautiful,

Those recruited to dilute and choose...
