Our Life
Running the time of our lives,
Giving us the freedom of knives,
Is like heavenly thunder on the fields of joy,
Like the living of splendour and not to destroy.
Life has a property we call Earth-and-Mars -
Earth contains the mystery,
And later the Martians land and cause decay.
Life has expelled us from its compartments,
Only I know this.
Running the life is of our laughter,
Of them are the great and greater,
The cherished ones of merriment and revelry for us all.
You do not design life for them, they merely do it themselves.

Some astronauts sleep in sort of beds - compartments that you can open up and crawl into and then close up, almost like a little bedroom.

Air power is indivisible. If you split it up into compartments, you merely pull it to pieces and destroy its greatest asset, its flexibility.

Here
Wool is stiched and knitted with all the raising doubts,
Grey is the way I lay and where I had such feel the boom.
The creator is against us and on a planet called Earth,
Mad they are for the red compartments of this world,
When there are many, many and more than ever.

I claim that human mind or human society is not divided into watertight compartments called social, political and religious. All act and react upon one another.

One of the most appalling comments on our present way of life is that half of all the beds in our hospitals are reserved for patients with nervous and mental troubles, patients who have collapsed under the crushing burden of accumulated yesterdays and fearful tomorrows. Yet a vast majority of those people would be walking the streets today, leading happy, useful lives, if they had only heeded the words of Jesus: "Have no anxiety about the morrow"; or the words of Sir William Osler; "Live in day-tight compartments.

0012 Remembering and being reminded
‘Did you remember to tidy up that room of yours
this morning – or do you need reminding? …’
that gap between remembering and being reminded
pursues our childhood and right through our life
as if there are two compartments in our brain
joined by the snaky sliding metal walkway
between two railway carriages at top speed,
the air, the ground, our life, flashing by
how close they are, how far apart,
what parts them in the living heart?
as, how can I ever forget you, all the life
we lived together, every little movement
of your eyes, your body, yes, your mind,
your eyes on me, the day
you looked at me, then looked away…
yes, I remember you, in every little thing
- then on the crowded street, before
some fancy high-priced fashion store,
some woman passes, with a dash
of Worth’s ‘Je reviens’ – and like a flash
I’m some old heart, some long ago to now heart, reminded that
I get along without you very well,
of course I do… except when all the scents of you
become our song, and you are you…
and behind, the memory
of whom I like to live and be,
and the sharper, true, intense
reminder of my truer sense.

A New Scroll
It displayed one man residing in the head,
Magic has compartments to be lead.
A scripture shall complain if rewards appear
To the dishonest, to the people who do not adhere
To their faith, the knowledge of God,
A straightforward voluminous writer to applaud.
I see sheep when there are lambs of beauty,
Youth heals the sick by avoiding ultimately.
The new scroll suggests fierce winds
Of writing, of poetry and of whirlwinds.

That train was ready for departure
Young and old passengers
with their heavy bags
jumped into the compartments.
And he's alone
A small haversack
on his back.
Somebody checks his season ticket
And an argument with the conductor?
He explains it's an old used ticket;
But the poor fellow grumbles
That he's never been to anywhere
in his lifetime?

Poem about Poetry - As the poems go
as the poems go into the hundreds
i realise there are gems of various grades
strewn everywhere
if only i have the time to gather them all
and string them into a necklace for the goddess of poetry
they will i think sparkle round her neck
the rest - gems with less lustre
like sweat will soon dry
to refresh me to have another go
scouring the various compartments of
my mind for gems of the best categories
and perhaps one day finds one
from a distant planet
that would shock the world

Computer Mania
Deliberate is the action that I pronounce,
On the minute, of all the hours, that laugh away.
So strong is my business contending the books,
Content in the knowledge of sentinels.
Your living is praising nobody but you,
It is an affair of compartments like rooms and boxes,
I loved all such fair thinking.
But in the trust of habit is a silent partner,
A ready beat to burden the populace into it.
I said always the criminal is then losing us,
He is winning in a jackpot what amounts to something.

Valentine Locked Away...
To a special, secret Valentine – you don’t
know who you are, I have Beeblebroxed
my brain, sliced it into compartments, you
exist in a secret place - I keep you buried
where everyday awareness cannot find a
way unto you, no access to the knowledge
locked away
Other visions and dreams have been super-
imposed over you, you can’t be seen, even I,
writing here, don’t know who you are; wishing
you a Happy Valentine’s Day, if you get goose-
bumps on reading this, it might be you, if you
remain cold and unmoved, it never was
meant for you...

A Window Paned Like A Person
a window paned
is like a person
divided up sections
closed off sections
separate
compartments
sealed
clear glass emotions
suffering clear seen
behind walls not hidden
pertained putty
applied sealants
sectioned glass
fixing broken
panes takes
time skill will
avoid rush jobs

The Most Beautiful
a hand bag as big as a brief case,
have compartments, but not arranged,
stuffed stuffs are many,
lip sticks, mascara, eye liner,
powder and creams to smooth the surface,
peeler, scrubber and the polisher,
scissors, clips and gloss.
perfect hair and branded dress.
a wallet with few credit cards,
a zipper for coins and currency notes,
come out as they are,
who are the most beautiful people,
in the world?
Women or Men?
I say Men are the most beautiful people,
because they do not need make up.

Gold
Is it a fantasy of the parts of one’s soul?
Then gold is utmost in quality,
Foremost in taste, like a burden on the multitude,
Seasons speak well of those with gold.
It shines with spectacular charm
Like opening a treasure chest of marvels,
The same marvellous items we give to Heaven
And its compartments, its charming rivers.
We taste this element with peril,
What makes peril so perilous
And menace so strange?
The golden market is full of gold.

Sitting In Church One Day
Sitting in church one day,
Churchgoer said something that
Blew me away.
He told a story about a neighbor
Crossing his boundary line.
“This is my yard,
don’t be such a retard.
For I have a gun,
I will be protected in
Heaven from everyone.”
Now, I thought to myself,
This guy needs help.
I don’t care what the
Churchgoers say,
I thought Jesus
said Pray,
Pray for one another,
not the other way.
Using guns to settIe the score,
escalating it into a war.
Can’t we think of other ways?
Guess people justify
their beliefs
backing it into
compartments so neat.
What’s the use,
you can’t defeat,
what people see.

Do women feel anything more keenly than curiosity? No, they will go to any lengths to find out, to know,to feel, what they have always dreamed of! Once their excited curiosity has been aroused, women will stoop to anything, commit any folly, take any risks. They stop at nothing. I am speaking of women who are real women, who operate on three different levels. Superficially cool and rational, they have three secret compartments: the first is constantly full of womanly fret and anxiety; the second is a sort of innocent guile, like the fearsome sophistry of the self-righteous; and the last is filled with an engaging dishonesty, a charming deviousness, a consummate duplicity, with all those perverse qualities in fact that can drive a foolish, unwary love to suicide, but which by others may be judged quite delightful.

No-go Showboat
No-go showboat no-go showboat (no-go showboat)
Well I got a wild custom that wins every show
But its a no-go showboat (no-go showboat)
Yeah but everybody knows that she just dont go
Shes my no-go showboat (no-go showboat)
White wall slicks with racing mags
Shes just for looks, man, not for drags
cause its a no-go showboat (no-go showboat)
No go
No go
Well the guys all dig it theyve got no complaints
About my no-go showboat (no-go showboat)
And the chicks really flip for that metal flake paint
On my no-go showboat (no-go showboat)
It really rates fine in the custom clan
With hand-formed panels, tuck-and-roll rear pan
cause its a no-go showboat (no-go showboat)
No go
No go
Well the engine compartments filled with all chrome goodies
In my no-go showboat (no-go showboat)
Yeah but everybody takes me even old ford woodies
In my no-go showboat (no-go showboat)
When it comes to speed, man, Im just outa luck
Im even shut down by the ice cream truck
cause its a no-go showboat (no-go showboat)
No go
No go
No-go showboat (no-go showboat)
No-go showboat (no-go showboat)
Shes just my (no-go showboat)
Shes just my (no-go showboat)

No Short-Cuts To Success
The righteous shall prosper
By sweat of their brows and prowess,
There are no short cuts to success!
Equal opportunities for one and all,
And to develop the intellect,
Should at all times be stressed;
Without seeking short cuts to success!
The third class compartments in our trains
Got re-christened as second class,
But the status of our masses,
Got even worse!
Such gimmicks and eye wash
Can no longer hold,
For there are no shot cuts to success
You have always been told!
Let the deserving prosper,
With the right man for the right job,
We are not handicapped or retarded,
No concessions or quotas are required
To get things started!
For the country to prosper, go down
To the grass roots; genuinely uplifting
The status of the masses, as our single
Holy mission,
Since our forefathers have made adequate
Provisions in our Constitution..
But we have failed to implement or redress,
So now seek short cuts to success! !
