Perfect love is rare indeed - for to be a lover will require that you continually have the subtlety of the very wise, the flexibility of the child, the sensitivity of the artist, the understanding of the philosopher, the acceptance of the saint, the tolerance of the scholar and the fortitude of the certain.

Far From Reality
Far...
I think that night just got me,
Miles aways from strength,
And was only gulping for a breath,
Of relief from tire.
I closed my eyes, so did my ears,
I went deep in sleep;
Was actually deep!
Far from reality,
In a dream of quality.
I saw birds of white feathers,
Flying Eastward to better weathers;
The direction that is the sun,
Wafting their cute arms-fan,
Looking for a verdant tree of apple,
In a tranquil sea of fortuned ample.
From...
Here, my innocent conscience spoke to me:
'The second bird was last behind,
But the first in mind;
In line, it was the last,
In speed, was the first'
My innocent conscience spoke again,
This time stabbing my brain:
'The bird behind must be MAN,
The bird on fore must be WOMAN'
'Man's in white suit,
Woman's in white gown that suit'
Wow! A day to remember,
Like twenty fifth of December,
Is the hour they took a vow,
Assuming to nobody, nothing they owe.
Reality...
Now I saw them fly, past me,
Man and woman flew past the sea,
That place I couldn't see,
But only take a chance to imagine,
That Bill and Coo along sea margin,
Leaving a silence of heart,
To prove best of its creative art...
And it was like, I overheard,
Or and or may be it was heard,
From semi voice, whispering mind,
A raunchy voice of the kind,
Sandwiched between gaiety,
And slices of romance and humanity.
Whatever I judged was not bogus
Neither it wa' a present from Las Vegas!
I
The bird man's voice came to me,
He spoke,
What me no joke o' poke:
'Darling, my sole love,
You're all I wanna have,
Not all perfect relationships got in existence,
Some require mind of patience:
One, understanding of scholar,
Two, knowledge like philosopher,
Three, flexibility of an infant,
Four, acceptance like a saint,
Five, subtlety of very wise men,
Six, fortitude like certain,
Seven, thirst of a learner
Eight, creativity like a designer...'
II
Feminine sweet voice hit me,
She cou'd not wait NINE and TEN,
Her heart mus' hadst been an oven,
Falling deep, deeper and deepest,
In LOVE with words of great taste!
Speaking like queen captain of fairy,
Commanding a plague over ferry:
'But what I feel for you is strong,
Worth living for you for long,
It's profound,
And can never be found,
Upon towers of royalty,
Or under impediments of loyalty...,
(Whisper) You are my thirst,
And allow me win your trust! '
Chorus:
Strongly lustrous, smiling...
You're far away from SAD,
Living to know me, you; are TWO,
In this affair we STIR.
Veins full of real blood than GRAPHIC,
Every minute roaming each AREA.
Seconds shou'd mean blooming CLOSENESS,
Time to time we make love NEW.
Encounter every dream within our ERA.
Reality shou'd zoom close and BIG.
Across every nation, Imma be with YOU.
Kenyan queen, you're all woman I NEED;
Uncomparably CREME DE LA CREME.
Races of every crustal state must salute....
Above reality! Far From Reality!

Of Acceptance and Compliancy
Acceptance is not the same as compliancy.
Although both definitions suggest flexibility.
Acceptance is done after comprehension comes.
And one compliant seems to be more submissive,
Technically.
With actions that are specific,
To what is defined and made understood.
And one who accepts definitions,
May argue with an understanding...
That attention and answers are expected to be given,
When asked!
With someone 'qualified' to deliver what appeases.
Or no one sleeps!

God knows that a mother needs fortitude and courage and tolerance and flexibility and patience and firmness and nearly every other brave aspect of the human soul. But because I happen to be a parent of almost fiercely maternal nature, I praise casualness . It seems to me the rarest of virtues. It is useful enough when children are small. It is important to the point of necessity when they are adolescents.

Perfect Part 2
I don’t need perfect cloth
I don’t need perfect hair
What I need is a confidence
I don’t need perfect score
I don’t need perfect job
What I need is a support
I don’t need perfect word
I don’t need perfect dream
What I need is a chance
I don’t need perfect agreement
I don’t need perfect control
What I need is a solution
I don’t need perfect holiday
I don’t need perfect memories
What I need is a peace of mind
I don’t need perfect home
I don’t need perfect family
What I need is a comfort
I don’t need perfect love
I don’t need perfect life
What I need is an understanding

A Bit More!
Need a bit more courage not to shed tears,
Seek a bit more patience not to be in anger,
Travel a bit more distance to find the love you require,
Knock a bit more passionately for that person to hear.
Though we are the fast runners and thinkers on the earth,
We alight before the destination, as we are in haste,
A bit more tolerance could have saved many hearts and lives,
A bit more understanding could have molded us to be in peace.

Perfect Lover
It's in your head
They're telling you it's in your head
It's a figment of your imagination
It's in your head
They're telling you it's in your head
You're a victim of your infatuation
And everyone tells me she just isn't there
That it just couldn't be
Only I know how real she is to me
There's a perfect lover
Running through my head
There's a perfect lover
I can see her in my head
Perfect lover
They keep telling you
They keep telling you
It's just a fascination
Why don't they listen
No one listens to what I am saying
And everyone tells you she just isn't there
That it just couldn't be
Only I know how real she is to me
There's a perfect lover
Running through my head
There's a perfect lover
Running through my head
Sometimes I hear the cry
(I hear it crying out)
Your voice from deep inside
(Inside, inside, inside)
It's taking over me
Over me
I'm not looking through the eyes
Of a desperate stranger
What I envision is so real
I don't want to change it
And sometimes I feel
Like she's standing right there
Like I can reach out and touch her
Only I know how real she is to me
There's a perfect lover
Running through my head
Perfect lover
Running through my head
There's a perfect lover
Running through my head
Perfect lover
Running through my head
Perfect lover
Perfect lover

Continually our love surprises me
Continually our love does me surprise,
as sometimes you bring me pain
and sometimes you hold on to me
while sometimes it feels as if I am reaching into a whirlpool
but sometimes you take away everything bad.
Continually our love does me surprise,
and sometimes tears run over your cheeks
but sometimes it's as if the sun shines through your eyes
and sometimes you hold on to me
while our love is much stronger than just a maybe,
and I am smitten by the look on your face.
Continually our love does me surprise,
as if new depths continually comes to it,
you become part of my awareness
and sometimes you hold on to me
and it's as if we perfectly fit into each other's lives
while continually you are part of me, of my existence;
continually our love does me surprise,
and sometimes you hold on to me.

To a Mistress Dying
Lover. YOUR beauty, ripe and calm and fresh
As eastern summers are,
Must now, forsaking time and flesh,
Add light to some small star.
Philosopher. Whilst she yet lives, were stars decay'd,
Their light by hers relief might find;
But Death will lead her to a shade
Where Love is cold and Beauty blind.
Lover. Lovers, whose priests all poets are,
Think every mistress, when she dies,
Is changed at least into a star:
And who dares doubt the poets wise?
Philosopher. But ask not bodies doom'd to die
To what abode they go;
Since Knowledge is but Sorrow's spy,
It is not safe to know.

Rare Friend
I will be your rare friend;
Spend many hours meditating on your success.
I will be your rare friend;
Be there for you when you are not at your best.
I will be your rare friend;
One who will take you home when your legs tire.
I will be your rare friend;
And will be beside you when go through the fire.
I will be your rare friend;
When others abandon you and laugh at you.
I will be your rare friend;
Not caring the color of your skin or what you do.
I will be your rare friend;
I will be your rare friend because its true, I am you.

Rare, Precious & Gone
Cry baby boy, not tears of joy
The one you held is no longer your toy
Shes got her new boots and her make up on
You can call her your friend
But not your lover again
Shes made it clear as air that this affair is at an end
So what are you doing holding on?
Dont you see shes
Rare, precious and shes gone
Shes rare, precious and shes gone
She was soft in your hands, now shes shattered your plans
Im sympathetic but youve got to understand
You tried to squeeze her somewhere
She just dont belong
She was being sincere when she breathed in your ear
As long as there were stars in the night sky shed be near
Even angels get it wrong!
Wont you see shes
Rare, precious and shes gone
Shes rare, precious and shes gone
Its a subtle trap
Seeding guilt in her mind
But she aint taking your crap
This time
Boy youre out on a line...
Shes a queen among women, a child among queens
The finest thing that your lovesick eyes have ever seen
Shes a rose without a thorn
Shes a peach, shes a prize
A gift in disguise
Shes graceful and colourful and when she grows
Shell be wise
But most of all my friend, shes gone
Gone, gone gone!
Shes rare, precious and shes gone
Rare, precious and shes gone
Yes, shes rare, precious and shes gone
Shes rare, precious and shes gone
Gone, gone gone...

Blue Sky Memories (In Answer To O Ingrid Jonker, For Daleen)
Blue sky memories continually comes to me
of a day under a bright summer sun
as if a part of you stays lingering,
when I love you even more (if I could)
while continually you are snared in my remembering.
Even when times of bad weather want to come
there is an unbreakable bond between us,
while continually I am astounded by our love.
Blue sky memories continually lingers in my thoughts
when I forget all of my previous heartaches,
when continually I am lost in you
and I always know about the depth of our love.
The sparkling sun continuously brings new hope,
when we walk days, months and years together on a road.

Perfect Strangers
Everytime we meet
My heart skips a beat
Seems were perfect strangers
I cant understand
Whats inside of man
That makes us perfect strangers
Through all this time so lonely
All the people with nobody
With lifes misunderstanding
Feel Ive known you all my life
Theres something quite familiar in your eyes
A soul is calling
Do you ever wonder why?
Everytime we meet
A sympathetic beat
In the heart of strangers
Here the love it calls
But you dont know me at all
Seems were perfect strangers
Just like perfect strangers
Ever looked up to the sky
On a night so melancholy
See the angry world around you
Really need someone to talk to
Doesnt mind you feel so crazy
Wheres the understanding stranger
Or the understanding lover
I know therell come a day
When peace will touch the heart of you
Until then I will say
Open up your eyes
Youre not hypnotised
Were not really strangers
You dont understand
That in the heart of love
Theres no perfect strangers
Everytime we meet
A sympathetic beat
In the heart of strangers
Repeats...

God-Centric, For Celeste
God-Centric,
the journey
of a pure heart,
unashamed to question,
not afraid of the answers,
or lack of answers.
from the Bible God of youth,
to the land of doubt and hope,
to an understanding of the Presence,
and the calm acceptance of It's abiding.
to a knowing
of the formless
behind the forms,
to a seeing
of the many faces
of God,
each validated by love.
to a belief,
in a love beyond understanding,
and an acceptance of the wonder,
believing there is more.
sacredness,
without a need for 'righteous judgement'
holiness,
and a human being being human,
and respecting the paths
of all true seekers.
her story brings peace, and hope...

The Measure Of Men
what is the measure of one man
is it the measure of one's strength
I think not
is it the measure of one's stature such as height
I don't think so
is it how wealthy one is
not even close
or is it how much power one possesses over another
not impressive
can a measure of a man be measured with a yardstick
well it can but that park doesn't show he's a man
the tolerance of a man for another man hitting him
can be measured with a ruler
the tolerance of a man for another man attacking his country
can be measured with a grain of salt
the tolerance of a man for another man hitting the one's he loves
now that can only be measured within a whisper
you can only measure a individual man or woman
with how big their heart is and
what qualities lie within that heart
such as dignity for what he works for
such as a stable household for his famly
compassion for people in need
the understanding of what's right and what's wrong
the pride of not what he has done but what
his wife and child has done
the sweat
the blood
and the tears he spars
to keep his marriage from falling apart
once you find a way to measure those things then
and only then will you be able to say
that is
because that is certainly
the real measure of all men

The Perfect Father
The Perfect Father
who accepts you
the perfect father
who protects you
The perfect father
what will you do?
but believe in him
and accept Him too
The perfect Father
who gave His life
The perfect Father
is found in Jesus Christ
The perfect Father
who knows your name
The perfect father
who will remain
The perfect Father
who lovingly guides
who wants to lead you
like a shepherd
and walk
by your side
The perfect Father
who listens and holds
The perfect Father
who gently consoles
The perfect Father
who changes you
by his Love and his kindness
and acceptance too
The perfect Father
who understands
This perfect Father
became a man
So that you could come
to personally know Him
and know there is a Father
who is out there my friend
There is a Father
who exist, your not dreaming
He's looking for you
while your searching for Him
He's found in Jesus Christ
Jesus answered, 'I am the way and the truth and the life
no one comes to the father except through me'

You Alone.....My Love!
If i could place my love for you inside a
box...I would have you keep it next to your
heart, with many, many locked up locks!
For you would have the only keys...For you
are the only one, that i wish to please!
You alone continually stay on my mind...
You alone are one of a special kind! You
alone remain my only one desire...You
alone can be the only one i require! You
alone wake me up in the morning...You
alone, when angered give me your heated,
look of warning! You alone share with
me, your heart's most desired cravings,
You alone put up with my some times,
rantings and ravings! You and i, have remained
so tight...You alone have been my one
perfect, Mrs.Right! ! !

What brings understanding is love. When your heart is full, then you will listen to the teacher, to the beggar, to the laughter of children, to the rainbow, and to the sorrow of man. Under every stone and leaf, that which is eternal exists. But we do not know how to look for it. Our minds and hearts are filled with other things than understanding of "what is". Love and mercy, kindliness and generosity do not cause enmity. When you love, you are very near truth. For, love makes for sensitivity, for vulnerability. That which is sensitive is capable of renewal. Then truth will come into being. It cannot come if your mind and heart are burdened, heavy with ignorance and animosity.
