It is not reason which is the guide of life, but custom.

Custom Machine
Check my custom machine
Well shes metal flake blue with a corvette grill
(check my custom machine)
And they say it looks better when shes standin still
(check my custom machine)
When I step on the gas she goes wa aa aa
Ill let you look but dont touch my custom machine
Well with naugahyde bucket seats in front and back
(check my custom machine)
Everything is chrome, man, even my jack
(check my custom machine)
When I step on the gas she goes wa aa aa
Ill let you look but dont touch my custom machine
With stereophonic speaker set with fibrosonic sound
(check my custom machine)
Magnesium spokes, it stands an inch off the ground
(check my custom machine)
When I step on the gas she goes wa aa aa
Ill let you look but dont touch my custom machine

It is reason, and not passion, which must guide our deliberations, guide our debate, and guide our decision.

I Love....
i love...
that's the reason i walk,
the reason i breathe.
the reason i grieve.
the reason i dance.
the reason i smile.
the reason i listen.
the reason i offer a hand.
the reason i see beauty.
the reason i see both darkness,
and light....
the reason i take chances.
the reason i keep going.
the reason i get angry.
the reason i forgive.
the reason i touch.
the reason i question.
the reason i believe.
the reason i am tolerant.
the reason i understand.
the reason i fall.
the reason i fly.
the reason i write...
the reason i am what i am!

A reason to live
A man's reason to live is his very reason to die. His reason to live is his reason to sacrifice by his reason to love. His reason to love is his reason to die. If he died it would be a great sacrifice by reason of his faith. Then that reason of faith is substantiated if that love is good. Therefore his faith is purposeful.
A dangerous man has no reason to live and therefore no reason to love as all is lost. If that man has no love he has no reason for faith and he has no reason of faith because there is no love. He will give up his life easily. Look at the ones who love you and you will have the reason to live. That reason to live is what makes you believe in life. Therefore by reason of love you have faith and by reason of faith you have life. - John 17: 3

Reason
Some people never learn
Keep taking every turn
A little fast
Thinking nothing ever lasts
Descending (?) oh so sweet
Keep playing in my sleep
But when I wake
I can never recall a thing
And the reason being
Gives reason to everything
To this charmed life that we lead
Something is crying out
Through voices in my tears
Hear the voice crying out
In the strangest memories
Never mind
And reason being
Gives reason to everything
To this charmed life that we lead
Sorry to disappoint you
I never said that I could tell right from wrong
So don't put your faith on me now
I'll leave you in suspension
Till you fall
And the reason being
Gives reason to everything
To this short life that we lead
And the reason being
Gives reason to everything

Faith, Reason, and Memory
Where faith serves
as faithful guide
And truth becomes
the path to ride
Reason, the compass
To give direction
The mind a map
To which we must subscribe
Memory, apportioned
To mere reflection
Conscience a cape
Neath which to hide
Faith will guide…
truth will be the way
Reason will the direction lay
Memory will give mind, today
And mirror's light
Remind us bright
The path on which
To stay

XXXIX. Religion consists in right sentiments of God
Frame to yourself some forms, some rules whereby
To guide your life, on which to keep your eye,
Which whether to yourself you live recluse,
Or which in conversation you may use;
For there are dangers, which the wise would fly
Both in retirement and society.
For neither can a ship with safety ride
Within her port, if not with cables ty'd;
Nor can she be secure, when under sail,
Though in fair weather with a prosp'rous gale,
Unless known rules, by long experience try'd,
Her well-spread canvas, and her rudder guide.
Nor only in the main do tempests roar,
They strike the flats, and riot on the shore;
And skilful sailors with just reason doubt
Danger within, as well as those without.

Listen Mister
Written by: myles goodwyn
Listen mister I can not see
Any reason for lyin
I can see inside your head
To the back of your mind, yeah
Get it together
Get it together before you lose
Get it together
Get it together before you lose
Here I am on my knees
And not afraid of dieing
Suddenly it occurs to me
There was really no sense in trying
Yes I know it seems strange to you
But its our way of living
I cant see for the life of me
Why youre so afraid to reason
Listen mister I can not see
Any reason for lyin
Things just arent like they use to be
Nd theres no sense in tryin
Get it together
Get it together before you lose
Get it together
Get it together before you lose
A good reason I cannot see
A good reason I cannot see
A good reason I cannot see
A good reason I cannot see
A good reason I cannot see
A good reason I cannot see
A good reason I cannot see
A good reason I cannot see
A good reason I cannot see
A good reason I cannot see
A good reason I cannot see
A good reason I cannot see

The Physical Conscience
The moral conscience — court of last appeal —
Our word of God — our Heaven- sent light and guide —
From what high aims it lures our steps aside!
To what immoral deeds it sets its seal!
That beacon lamp has lost its sacred fire;
That pilot- guide, compelling wind and wave,
By slow, blind process, has become the slave
Of all- compelling custom and desire.
Not so the conscience of the body. This,
Untamed and true, still speaks in voice and face,
In cold lips stiffened to the loveless kiss,
In shamed limbs shrinking from unloved embrace,
In love- born passion, that no laws compel,
Nor gold can purchase, nor ambition sell.

You Are The Reason Why
you are the one that i love
you are the one that i need
you are the one i want to be with
you are the one i will fight for
you are the reason why
i am breathing today
you are the reason why
i could walk again
you are the reason why
i am not afraid of death
you are the reason why
i can't go back and love another
you are someone i could not leave without
you are the one i wish i could have for the rest of my life
you are the reason why
i'm alive
you are the reason why
i could fight against enemies...

Those That KNow Reasoning
You cannot have what isn't yours
You cannot give what isn't yours
You cannot take what wasn't given to you
You cannot own what belongs to no one
You cannot buy what is not for sale
You cannot discover something when there are already people there
You cannot earn something that is worthless
You cannot celebrate victories never won
You should not die for no reason
You should not hate for no reason
You should not quarrel for no reason
You should not defend for no reason
You should not kill for no reason
You should not murder for any reason
You should not destroy for the sake of destruction
You should not build for the sake of building
You should dance for no reason
You should laugh for no reason
You should smile for no reason
You should love for no reason
You should go for the sake of traveling
You should know for the sake of knowing
You should venture out or you will stagnate
You should respect Mother Nature
You should share the planet for it is all we have
You should make peace for this is reason
In war there are no winners, only those who are left
Death, life, love, friends, and family are the only thing worthwhile in existence worthy of celebration
