The Cord Of Gossamer
The gossamer cord it tightens,
As I try to move away.
Although I love you Eternally,
We can't live day by day.
I puzzled over this anomaly
Down the years that passed so full,
And asked myself, what can I do?
"Nothing" came reply, "just null."
But still I puzzled, beat my brow,
Felt I should do it all.
"No child" you gently chided,
"You're riding for a fall."
Only live your life for you,
Though interlinked you be.
This gauntlet is not yours to run.
Let go your agony.
Though partners through the Universe,
Evolving along with he.
You cannot move his pieces (chess) ,
You have to let him be.
And if he honours his Karma,
Then the choice is yours to live,
But if he should choose to turn away,
Then freedom you must give.
Not just for him my child you said,

Quiet Kind
I've never really written a poem
no reason to
But today feels like a day for words
the quiet kind
I wondered if i should tell
you know, about me
what i think
i thought about the
snow, and the night when
we were forever
i wondered if you knew
if you saw right through me
if i was a mystery
or if you never even looked
i thought about what comes next
i wondered if you wondered
if there was something
more
or if we just turned to
dust
and nothing is left
but you

i thought about you today.
Surgeries/Revelations/Puzzles/Shelter
White walls and steel gurneys-
Antiseptic fills the air-
Outside the OR in the waiting room-
The night whispers a familys heart-felt prayer;
Moon shines outside in full bloom (The brightest)
Gives light much like a (thousand fireflies) no lie-
Over brother/sisters/friends and others...
While a poet-in life or death surgery wonders why?
Oh the dusk it came way too soon-
News of multiple shut-down was uncomfortable to hear-
Major bridges in need of delicate repair-
Climbing these mountains gives even doctors fear;
Traffic of the OR nurses revolve in and out-
Dressed down in their most crisp brillant white-
An incision is made near the patients left breast and mid chest-
Much worry cries- in the mist of this night;
Many prayers are sent to the above (God Found Her)
In a major (angel winged run) -
For healing complete of heart/kidneys/lungs-
For with God in the end His will be done;

Diagnosis: Heart damage from silent MI-
From years of abuse...? ? ?
Abuse of what? has the specialists puzzled...
And the patient wondering...? ? ?

Kidney damage from years of abuse-? ? ?
Abuse of what? has the specialist puzzled...

Lungs given out from heart and kidney damage-? ? ?

(Blood/tissue/ and hair samples) finally tell the whole story...

Now out of the hospital and... turned over for investigation;
Be careful what you eat! ! ! Be careful what you drink! ! !
Be careful what you breathe! ! ! Be careful of that skin cream! ! !
Be careful of sadists who lurk in the dark forests bearing knives! ! !
There are: 'wackos out there'.! ! ! Sadistic 'little men' who
Get their jollies off of just this very thing...

Father I Never Knew
I have searched all my life for you yet I never found you
I have called out your name but you've never answered
For the longest time, I've wonder am I just like you
It's the one thing that has haunted for the longest time
I don't know you but the thought of being like you scares me

at “Bully-Boy’s” funeral
and brought my laughter
to his burial.
as if… i enjoyed
some humorous moment

from his early passing.
