I lead no party; I follow no leader. I have given the best part of my life to careful study of Islam, its law and polity, its culture, its history and its literature.

Well, the most important thing about Islam is that we have to differentiate between two kinds of Islam. The first one is the institution of Islam... second, the culture of Islam.

Where Are You Now?
For those of you who follow the King,
Tell me, where are you now?
For those of you who follow the Pope,
Tell me, where are you now?
For those of you who followed the Beatles,
Tell me, where are you now?
For those of you who followed the flag,
Tell me, where are you now?
Be it Frank Zappa, or Andy Warhol,
Tell me, where are you now?
Be it the Koran, be it the Bible
Tell me where are you now?
Be it Mein Kampf, the Communist Manifesto,
Tell me where are you now?
The Bill of Rights with all the fights,
Tell me, where are you now?
Will you follow the leader on to the quicksand?
Will you follow the leader to Hell?
Will you follow the leader on to Doomsday?
Only time will tell...
Sooner or later, you're bound to discover,
You're going to have to take the lead.
In this life time or maybe another,
You're more than a mouth to feed.
Time settles everything,
Indeed, all comes to rest,
And the fact is wherever you are,
Is anybody's guess.
No ones controls the length of time,
Nor the breadth and depth,
And there are no leaders at the end of the line,
Only you facing your death.

Where You Lead
(Carole King/Toni Stern)
Wanting you the way I do
I only want to be with you
And I would go
To the ends of the earth
Cause, darling
To me thats what
Youre worth
Where you lead, I will follow
Anywhere that you tell me to
If you need, you need me to be with you
I will follow where you lead
If youre out on the road
Feeling lonely, and so cold
All you have to do is call my name
And Ill be there on the next train
Where you lead, I will follow
Anywhere that you tell me to
If you need, you need me to be with you
I will follow where you lead
I always wanted a real home
With flowers in the window sill
But if you want to live in New York City
Honey, you know I will
I never thought I could get satisfaction
From just one man
If anyone can keep me happy
Youre the one who can
Where you lead, I will follow
Anywhere that you tell me to
If you need, you need to be with you
I will follow
Where you lead, I will follow
Anywhere that you tell me to
If you need, you need to be with you
I will follow where you lead
Oh, yes I will
Oh, Im gonna follow where you lead
Im gonna follow where you lead
Oh, Im gonna follow where you lead
I will follow
I will follow
Oh, yes I will

Good Leader
A good leader
is the one
who will lead his people
not to war
but to a better life.
When I say
a better life
it's a life
where hunger
does not exist,
education and medication
is of reach.
So a leader
who could lead his people
to a better life
is the leader
whom I will salute
for he is the only leader
whom I will call
a good leader.

The History of Now
The recording of culture is history;
but our culture is more than that.
It's the world of human action,
and the myths we make of the fact.
The recording of history is culture,
but our history is more than that.
It informs a hidden agenda.
Unconscious of motive we act.
It's the history of now, the history of now.
It's only the present that exists as endowed.
It's the history of now. The moment - KAPOW!
That knocks you right over and muddies your brow.
Through the prism of language, we know what we know.
We carry our baggage and stories of woe.
Victor and vanquished pride cannot budge,
the dead weight of hatred and ancestral grudge.
We fight our good fights with our hand on our heart;
the music is swelling as loved ones depart.
As sheep to the slaughter, the script cannot chart,
a course more ignoble: the propagandist's art.
The recording of history is culture,
but our culture is more than that.
More than the great individuals,
the scholars so love in their tracts.
The recording of culture is history;
but our history is more than that.
Not simple dates or statistics,
the full horror and gore still attracts.
It's the history of now, the history of now.
A strange contradiction that makes sense somehow.
It's the history of now, a mystery and shroud.
The past and the future: best fiction allowed.

Given the devaluation of literature and of the study of foreign languages per se in the United States, as well as the preponderance of theory over text in graduate literature studies, creative writing programs keep literature courses populated.

There are two methods for the literary study of any book - the first being the study of its thought and emotion; the second only that of its workmanship. A student of literature should study some of the Bible from both points of view.

An inheritance
What will the next generation inherit from us?
We have lost everything
From culture to character
From noble literature to sublime art
In the name of culture we have vulgar dance
Imitation is our character
Our literature has lost its charm
And our art is restricted to shoot nude models
What do we have except 'CONFUSION'
For them to inherit?

Women In Islam
How do women fit into islam? What is their fate?
This has been the subject of many a debate
‘for the believing men and women, is a great reward’
this is from surah al azaab, the words of our Lord
it can be seen from reading the holy Quran
that a woman has some privilege over a man
praying is exempted during menstruation
here islam gives women consideration
a woman after marriage becomes a wife
for nine long months she carries new life
during childbirth she is exempted to fast
islam is against the burying of girls in the past
they can pray at the mosque or even at home
they may marry or divorce, its their choice, their own
after marriage she can retain her old maiden name
and is rewarded for treating all her offspring the same
once they are married they should live pious lives
‘and the best men are those who are best to their wives’
islam shows equality my sisters and brothers
don’t forget paradise lies at the feet of your mothers
women in the UK had property rights from 1938
this right was given by islam,14 centuries to date
in the UK, women could vote from 1918
this was stated 1400 years ago in islam our deen
women can work and lead a happily married life
but shouldn’t neglect her role as mother and wife
a woman for her child’s upbringing, deserves her credit
islam also gives a woman the right to inherit
a woman’s status in islam, we should never neglect
in islam they are favoured and deserve their respect

You Dont Know
You dont know where you belong
You should be more careful
As you follow blindly along ...
You just need to belong somehow.
Relying on rhetoric ...
Not well versed on topics ...
Any idea what youre talking about ?
Revisions of history
Fair well in some company
But dont shove that bullshit down my throat
You dont know where you belong ...
You should be more careful
As you follow blindly along ...
To find something to swear to ...
Till you dont know whats right from wrong
You just need to belong somehow.
Left suppresses right
Right suppresses left
So whats the left, and whats right ?
Youre told what to wear,
Youre told what to like
Id be nice if youd think for yourself sometime,
But you dont.
Now you dont know where you belong ...
You should be more careful
As you follow blindly along ...
Mix sheer hypocrisy with mediocrity
Youll play it safe every time -
So life turns up empty
And youre so dissatisfied
Who are you blaming this time ?
Dont you know ?

All people hope Islam helps everything in life. Islam will make jobs. Islam will make freedom. Islam will make everything.
Passion Of Life
To achieve something great in the world you need Passion
To fulfill vision, a great leader’s courage comes from Passion
Whatever it may be, you must find your Passion
If passion drives you, let reason hold the reins
Follow your passion and success will follow you!
Never underestimate the power of passion
Without passion religion is spiritless
Without Passion history is meaningless
Without Passion art is useless
Follow your passion and success will follow you!
When you take up a mission with passion
There are no dreams too large
No innovation unimaginable
No frontiers beyond reach
Follow your passion and success will follow you!
Our passions are the winds that propel our vessel
Our reason is the pilot that steers her
Without winds the vessel would not move
Without a pilot she would be lost
Follow your passion and success will follow you!
There is no end and there is no beginning
There is only the passion of life
Passion is universal humanity
Passion is the genesis of genius
Follow your passion and success will follow you!

I Will Follow
Yonder mountain so high
I cant make it all on my own, no
Rolling river why so wide?
To sweep me up and to bear me on
Up against the sky so bright
That I cant even close my eyes
I know I will follow (follow love)
Yes, yes, I will follow (follow love)
I will follow (follow love)
Follow love
Growing slowly like a tree
Someday soon, darling I love you
I love you
Soft and gentle, full summer moon
Set my soul free
Thank you, baby
Drifting like a cloud in the sky
I can see myself from high above
I know I must follow (follow love)
Somehow I will follow (follow love)
I must follow (follow love)
Follow love
Oh, half the future and half the past
Theyre waiting inside your eyes
Yes, and after all of this
To last and last
Till at last its your time to rise, rise
True believer that I am
I am blind, lead me on (lead me on)
Blessed receiver of your love
I own my own time
And Ive been holding on (holding on)
Leave the word unspoken
And the spell will not be broken
And Im bound to follow, now (follow love)
I know I must go (follow love)
I must follow (follow love)
Yes, I must follow (follow love)
Someone to hold my hand (follow love)
Somebody to lead me on(follow love)
Somebody to walk beside me (follow love)
Someone to follow me now (follow love)
I must follow love (follow love)
I will fall in love
I will follow love (follow love)
Anywhere it leads me
I will follow love (follow love)
Follow love
