There are lots of people in the world who do have the advantage of going to a good drama school and just decide that they want to be actors. There's nothing wrong with an untrained actor; they have to get their training somehow, they have to learn.

I never had any classes or went to theatre school like a lot of actors, so all of my training has been on stage with different directors. That was a pretty good school room.

Humanity
Everytime I walk down the street
I see lots of idiocy
Lots of hypocrites
Lots of ignorance
Lots of people polluting the street
With lots of litter
When I talk to people
They bring up facebook and twitter
I'm like 'Can you talk about something else? '
This is all people talk about these days
All I hear is celebrity gossip and drama
No one knows how to have fun
Everyone's forgotten how to have fun
I hate society
I hate most people
I wish the human race was extinct
I wish the world would just end
When I left drama school, there were dozens of rep theatres you could apply to where you got a good training.

I knew I wanted to be an actor when I was growing up, really. So when I decided to go to university instead of drama school, it was with the intention of becoming an actor afterwards.

I don't think actors get good training today. I put my training to use in everything I do.

The whole process of rehearsing a play involves so many creative and dramatic exercises, that this became my training. In fact, I still consider myself in training. Every time I work it's an educational process because I learn by watching other actors. My career is always going to be an on-going study.

Most actors spend a lot of time training themselves to be an actor. And I kind of didn't do that. I just started doin' it in front of an audience and had to deliver.

I made some mistakes in drama. I thought the drama was when the actors cried. But drama is when the audience cries.

The School Of Life...
The place were much was learned; The School Of Life.
A far different place than papers, books, and homework.
The School of Life, is a never ending, when it comes to lessons.
In The School Of Life, I have learned, that not
all, is ever learned, or comprehended.
The School Of Life, often teaches one, some bitter and
disappointing lessons.
This school, reveals much in the way of surprises. Many
that of a happy nature and some, devastating.
Somehow, The School Of Life, teaches one, to keep going.
To try...try and try again. We learn that much is gained
through tenacity. We learn it matters not how many times
one is knocked down, for it is how many times we get
up, that is the test in this school.
We learn of mans inhumanity to man. We learn that in
helping our fellow human beings, there is much reward.
We learn, that The School Of Life, has no graduating day.
We learn, that we remain, an ongoing student of education.
The School Of Life, does have its rewards; a diploma of
knowledge, understanding and wisdom.
The School Of Life, better than any college in the world.
The School of Life, where knowledge is ones ticket to
anyplace in the world.
Learn ye well, for in The School Of Life, one does not
have the opportunity to repeat a grade.

I think the point to be understood is that we're all different. I've never been a fan of theories of acting. I didn't go to drama school, so I was never put through a training that was limited by someone saying, 'This is the way you should act.'

A lot of the films now are more focused on the visuals than on the actors. I think all directors should go to drama school.
Between High School & Old School
Hey hey
Hey hey
I guess I'm a loner and I don't fit in (No...)
I ain't too comfortable in my skin (Oh...)
An' I don't play well with the others
I'm stuck somewhere between high school and old school
I can't decide between my rules and your rules
Hey hey
Hey hey
Nobody wants me hanging round
Unless it's from a tree in the middle of town
And I'm out of step with the others
I'm stuck somewhere between high school and old school
I can't decide between my rules and your rules
I'm stuck somewhere between high school and old school
So I defy maybe all rules maybe no rules
My clothes don't make me
My hair ain't cut right
And I don't care much
No I don't care at all
I guess my brain is out of sync, I think
I'm stuck somewhere between high school and old school
I can't decide between my rules and your rules
I'm stuck somewhere between high school and old school
I can't decide, I just can't decide
Hey hey hey
Hey hey hey
Hey hey hey
Aw...

Welcome back To School!
Welcome Back To School
Welcome back to school
Summer's over and once again school rules
It's now September a long way from June
Glad to have you welcome back to school
Let's get down to business
You have had your fun
Summer vacation is now long gone
Now it's time to learn
Welcome back to school
Learn prepare to take command of your world
Put control of your future in your hands
It's good to welcome you back to school
We are going to make learning fun
With that in mind we have updated our curriculum
Don't look so serious show some enthusiasm
All together now are we ready are we ready to learn
Welcome, welcome, welcome
Welcome back to school.
