These natives are a very good people; for when they saw that I would not remain, they supposed that I was afraid of their bows; and, taking their arrows, the broke them in pieces and threw them into the fire.

Oh Lamour
Oh lamour
Broke my heart
Now Im aching for you
Mon amour
Whats a boy in love
Supposed to do
Looking for you
You were looking for me
Always reaching for you
You were too blind to see
Oh love of my heart
Why leave me alone
Im falling apart
No good on my own
Oh lamour
Broke my heart
Now Im aching for you
Mon amour
Whats a boy in love
Supposed to do
Why throw it away
Why walk out on me
I just live for the day
For the way it should be
There once was a time
Had you here by my side
You said I wasnt your kind
Only here for the ride
Oh lamour
Broke my heart
Now Im aching for you
Mon amour
Whats a boy in love
Supposed to do
No emotional ties
You dont remember my name
I lay down and die
Im only to blame
Oh love of my heart
Its up to you now
You tore me apart
I heard inside-out
Oh lamour
Broke my heart
Now Im aching for you
Mon amour
Whats a boy in love
Supposed to do
Oh lamour
Broke my heart
Now Im aching for you
Mon amour
Whats a boy in love
Supposed to do

Distress(Cinquain)
You left without any note
Taking my soul with you
Tore my heart left me all alone
Nobody can see the pieces
Simply people walk onto them
So cruel people are
You enjoyed shrugged your shoulders
It broke me through and through
How can someone be so pitiless?
Having ignored the blood drops
People passed by
So ruthless people are
Rebuffed by your love
I now unwearyingly stroll
On the rocky paths
Thinking about the atrocious act
People consider me round the bend
Gawking eyes cannot be ignored
So malicious people are

The Sonnets To Orpheus: IV
O you tender ones, walk now and then
into the breath that blows coldly past,
Upon your cheeks let it tremble and part;
behind you it will tremble together again.
O you blessed ones, you who are whole,
you who seem the beginning of hearts,
bows for the arrows and arrows' targets--
tear-bright, your lips more eternally smile.
Don't be afraid to suffer; return
that heaviness to the earth's own weight;
heavy are the mountains, heavy the seas.
Even the small trees you planted as children
have long since become too heavy; you could not
carry them now. But the winds...But the spaces....

Solve Et Coagula
Fire, fire
I dissolve and solidify,
Destroy to recreate,
Disassemble to assemble something pure,
Our rubic sol-ve-et-co-ag-u-la
Kill to be born again, cycled a thousand times
Fire, planetary alchemy,
Fire, the time is here now
Fire, four corners to rise
Fire rise!
Fire, theres always loss within,
Fire, the cleansing its time
Fire, shooting arrows to the sky
Fire
I construct a new institution
Not out of bricks, iron, cement, concrete
Or steel
Our rubic sol-ve-et-co-ag-u-la
Distill to purify,
Weve done it a thousand times
Fire, planetary alchemy,
Fire, the time is here now
Fire, four corners to rise
Fire rise!
Fire, theres always loss within,
Fire, the cleansing its time
Fire, shooting arrows to the sky
Fire
Burn, bleed all the lives of life, ascend to
The sky
Burn, all the martyrs
Fire, planetary alchemy,
Fire, the time is here now
Fire, four corners to rise
Fire rise!
Fire, theres always loss within,
Fire, the cleansing its time
Fire, shooting arrows to the sky
Fire

Anarchists
The leaders of this country,
Think were the ones that do wrong,
They take control of the power,
and steal this land of forgotten freedom
Its not the people afraid of the government,
Its the government afraid of the people
They call the ones dressed in black,
The evil ones but we fight back,
We've got hackers, we've got protesters,
we let no man left behind
Its not the people afraid of the government,
Its the government afraid of the people
The unions dressed in black,
With their flag raised up high,
Don't take no for an answer,
As the forces stain the streets with blood
Its not the people afraid of the government,
Its the government afraid of the people
We fight for the people,
Our obligation is good as gold,
And though we fight with arms of steel,
we don't let death go in vein
Its not the people afraid of the government,
Its the government afraid of the people

There You Are
I was counting down minutes.
I was wishin on the stars.
I was prayin for a sign,
And tryin to beat the odds.
I was dreamin of you,
Love before I saw your face.
And there you were,
Waitin for that day.
Then you reached through the hurricane,
When youm baby you called me name.
You broke through the storm,
And you turned back the night.
Baby you are the fire,
Burnin the midnight sky,
And your love,
Keeps taking me higher.
Just when all hope has gone,
Where the hero belongs...
There you were.
Must have broken into heaven,
Just to roll back the clouds.
Were you on a mission.
Were you seekin me out.
Was I that one in a million.
Was I that one sacred kiss,
That you couldnt chance,
You just couldnt miss.
Then you whispers through the silent tears,
When you swept away all my fears.
You broke through the storm,
And you turned back the night.
Baby you are the fire,
Burnin the midnight sky,
And your love,
Keeps taking me higher.
Just when all hope has gone,
Where the hero belongs...
There you were.
Standin in the middle of nowhere,
With your arms wide open and you,
You were the reason when there was no reason.
In my life
Youre the reason in my life.
You broke through the storm,
And you turned back the night.
Baby you are the fire,
Burnin the midnight sky,
And your love,
Keeps taking me higher.
Just when all hope has gone,
Where the hero belongs...
There you were.
You broke through the storm,
And you turned back the night.
Baby you are the fire,
Burnin the midnight sky,
And your love,
Keeps taking me higher.
Just when all hope has gone,
Where the hero belongs...
There you were.
Like the light in the eye of the storm,
Tellin me not to cry anymore.
Where I watched my whole world fall apart,
Shinin through like on angel from afar
You broke through the storm,
And you turned back the night.
Baby you are the fire,
Burnin the midnight sky,
And your love,
Keeps taking me higher.
Just when all hope has gone,
Where the hero belongs...
There you were.

Afraid?
Too many people are afraid to speak.
Is it because they're too damned weak?
Afraid to stand out
afraid to shout
or just plain afraid and meek?
Too many people are afraid to yell.
Is it because they're afraid of hell?
Afraid of the crowd,
afraid to be loud
or just plain afraid of death's knell?
Too many people are afraid to hear.
Is it because of what they fear?
Afraid of the unknown,
afraid to be shown
or just plain afraid of what isn't clear?
Fear, fear
It is always here.

Sympathetic Character
I was afraid you'd hit me if i'd spoken up I was
afraid of your physical strength I was afraid
you'd hit below the belt I was afraid of your
sucker punch I was afraid of you reducing me
I was afraid of your alocohol breath I was afraid
of your complete disregard for me I was afraid
of your temper I was afraid of handles being
flown off of I was afraid of holes being punched
into walls I was afraid of your testosterone
I have as much rage as you have
I have as much pain as you do
I've lived as much hell as you have
and i've kept mine bubbling under for you
you were my best friend
you were my lover
you were my mentor
you were my brother
you were my partner
you were my teacher
you were my very own sympathetic character
I was afraid of verbal daggers I was afraid of the
calm before the storm I was afraid for my own
bones I was afraid of your seduction I was afraid
of your coersion I was afraid of your rejection
I was afraid of your intimidation I was afraid of
your punishment I was afraid of your icy silences
I was afraid of your volume I was afraid of your
manipulation I was afraid of your explosions
I have as much rage as you have
I have as much pain as you do
I've lived as much hell as you have
and i've kept mine bubbling under for you
[chorus]
you were my keeper
you were my anchor
you were my family
you were my saviour
and therein lay the issue
and therein lay the problem

Fundamental of Liar Chapter XCVI: Fear
I don’t afraid of being old, I’m only afraid of being weak
I don’t afraid of being ugly, I’m only afraid of being useless
I don’t afraid of being nameless, I’m only afraid of being not loved
I don’t afraid of being lost, I’m only afraid of being blind
I don’t afraid of being dumb, I’m only afraid of being hopeless
I don’t afraid of being poor, I’m only afraid of being ungrateful
I don’t afraid of being loser, I’m only afraid of being coward
I don’t afraid of being bound, I’m only afraid of being fake
I don’t afraid of being wrong, I’m only afraid of being oblivious
I don’t afraid of being suffered, I’m only afraid of being surrender
I don’t afraid of being alone, I’m only afraid of being bored
I don't afraid of being loss, I'm only afraid of being lied

You're supposed to be my parents
You're supposed to love me
You're supposed to be there for me
You're not supposed to call me names
Or even hit me around
I shouldn't have to get two jobs
i shouldn't have pay for my own food
Why are you like this?
you were so sweet before
You're supposed to kiss me good night
You're supposed to hug me close
you don't do any of that
who are you?
i just don't know anymore

How Things Are
away i fall to you
to stay silent no more
anyone with a clue wouldn't do as i've done
but the fear that you know is the fear you become to love
i want to say
i want to go
i'm so afraid
to be alone
all right, it's time for the truth
my love means more than i ever will
anyone this confused needs someone show them the way to
if i just find the strength to forget myself
i want it all
i want nothing
i'm so afraid
i'm so afraid
i want to stay
i want to go
i'm so afraid
to be alone
is this how my life is supposed to be
it's not enough, but too much for my heart to hold
is this how my life is supposed to be
it's not enough, but too much for my heart to hold

In this Rain of Fire
The memories of those blue nights
Are doing no good
I need no shelter
When I stand here and hurt myself
In this rain of fire
Those promises and dreams
You say, are now the past
Your words affect me no more
When I destroy my history
In this rain of fire
Tears don’t fall
Because the eyes now bleed
Bleed out all the love and trust
You broke it all and now my world burns
In this rain of fire
My mind doesn’t listen to me
Neither my heart does
So I accept the pain you have showered
And let you kill me
In this rain of fire
My heart doesn’t cry
For the fault ain’t mine
But it hurts even worse
Because it’s you who threw me down
In this rain of fire
Oh yes, it burns a lot
And yes it burns badly
But your betrayal doesn’t let me live
And so I call my end
In this rain of fire

Fool To Believe
You told me you loved me and wanted to be with me. So i gave you my love in return but you threw it back in my face. Then you told me your heart was for the taken, so I gave you mine but you broke it into pieces. You whispered sweet lies how you would cherish me. So i gave you body but you took it savagely. Then i cried my last tear because all the sweet lies you told me I was a fool to believe and kept on believing until you finally broke me.

Didnt Know I Had It
Time will let you know
(robin zander/brian o. who)
Look at you and look at me
Now what are we supposed to be
Were so afraid of something new
You know its true
You turn around and then its gone
You cant be sure if its the same old song
Were so afraid of everyone
Afraid of the sun
Please let this be love
A love that is so true
Its all up to me
Its all up to you
Time will let you know
Whatever will be
Whatever you do
Time will let you know
You see your folks and all their friends
Aint it funny how the story ends
You wonder why youre hanging on
When its gone
Please let this be love
A love that is so true
Its all up to me
Its all up to you
Time will let you know
Whatever will be
Whatever you do
Time will let you know
Repeat chorus
Look at you and look at me
Now what are we supposed to be
Were so afraid of something new
You know its true

He Broke Your Memory Last Night
(dickey lee, bucky jones)
Like a rare piece of crystal
Like a fine china cup
I kept your memory all safely locked up
Afraid I could never love somebody new
I was trying to save what I had left of you
Then he broke your memory last night
I felt it shatter inside
I guess he held me a little too right
He broke your memory last night
The moment he touched me with his gentle hands
Your memory crumbled like a house built on sand
He swept all the pieces of your love away
And then gave me his love to put in its place
Cause he broke your memory last night
I felt it shatter inside
I guess he held me a little too right
He broke your memory last night
He broke your memory last night

Afraid to Dance
Afraid to dance!
Many have refused...
To keep up with the rhythm.
Preferring to remain subdued.
And taking any chances...
Are kept at a minimum,
For them...
The pace of the beat,
Has slowed their feet!
Afraid to dance!
Or socially participate,
With those who do.
Some have given up...
On romancing too!
In a silent 'boo-hoo-ing' done,
That welcomes their undoing!
And going through the motions...
Only a few,
Are observed to continue in pursuit.
To leave others fixed in seats...
With feelings to self abuse.
To inflict a defeat...
That squeezes their strength.
And limp they are...
With a weakness seen they keep!
Afraid to dance!
Afraid to enhance and take advantage...
Of those forgotten and dropped options!

The Perfect Drug
The perfect drug
I got my head, but my head is unraveling
Cant keep control, cant keep track of where its traveling
I got my heart but my heart is no good
And youre the only one thats understood
I come along but I dont know where youre taking me
I shouldnt go but youre reaching back and shaking me
Turn off the sun, pull the stars from the sky
The more I give to you, the more I die
And I want you
And I want you
And I want you
And I want you
You are the perfect drug, the perfect drug, the perfect drug
You are the perfect drug, the perfect drug, the perfect drug
You make me hard, when Im all soft inside
I see the truth, when Im all stupid eyed
The arrow goes straight through my heart
Without you everything just falls apart
My blood wants to say hello to you
My feelings want to get inside of you
My soul is so afraid to realize
Every little word is a lack of me
And I want you
And I want you
And I want you
And I want you
You are the perfect drug, the perfect drug, the perfect drug
You are the perfect drug, the perfect drug, the perfect drug
You are the perfect drug, the perfect drug, the perfect drug
You are the perfect drug, the perfect drug, the perfect drug
You are the perfect drug, the perfect drug, the perfect drug
You are the perfect drug, the perfect drug, the perfect drug
(whispering)
You are the perfect drug, the perfect drug, the perfect drug
You are the perfect drug, the perfect drug, the perfect drug
You are the perfect drug, the drug, the perfect drug
Take me, with you
Take me, with you
Take me, with you
(continues in backround)
Without you, without you everything falls apart
Without you, its not as much fun to pick up the pieces
Without you, without you everything falls apart
Without you, its not as much fun to pick up the pieces
Its not as much fun to pick up the pieces
Its not as much fun to pick up the pieces

Without you, its not as much fun to pick up the pieces

What Could Have Been Forgotten
what you have
is not forbidden
a white porcelain cup placed on
top of a glazed saucer
the jasmine tea that
you sip slowly
as light fades away
the decent decorum of
well numbered
propriety
they never taste
that good
they are what others
are used to do
without so much thinking
it is the everyday
routine that
has taken away what
makes life
so alive & interesting
like some games that
we recently know
and begin to play
mornings are same
mornings
nights even with
all the stars
glistening
remain boring
the air tastes bland
its coldness is getting to
be scary
there is something
to what is forbidden
that is what we yet
do not know
others who regret
all those that they did
for once and for more
broke their hearts into pieces
when they sit beside
the window
watching cars passing
by
one by one
watching people
en masse
busy going and
going
like the ticking of the
hands of the clock
they will not tell
you
that despite the
brokenness
despite the still uncollected
pieces
the excitement
of what was forbidden and which
they did with so much
haste
still reclaims upon
itself
the untold
glory
the climax of a series
of existences
which time buries
so deeply in the dust bins of
personal histories
so that they
can all be
forgotten
