Well family is obviously the most important. There was a time when I thought football was the most important.

But when you lose a family member or something tragic happens, that stays with you forever. You never get over it. Knowing that you have to deal with that for the rest of your life... Football is important, but not as important as you once thought it was.

How Did You Get Past The Guards
Whatever you deem,
At the time...
Is important,
To you.
Let whatever it is at that time,
Be important.
That's the same way I feel about my time,
You take for granted...
Whenever you feel okay,
To dropp by unexpectedly...
To make your time,
The time I am not feeling.
Whatever you deem,
At the time...
Is important,
To you.
Let whatever it is at that time,
Be important.
But do not think for one moment,
My time...
Is not important to me.
And not a second of it do I plan to share!
Or...
Will be convinced that I should.
You are on the East side of this rainbow.
How did you get past the guards?
I keep telling them,
No visitors.
You...
Must have been annoying them for too long!

To be important, …
Importance is not goodness.
It is a quality entailing
Attention or recognition.
It’s important to respect;
It’s important to serve;
It’s important not to hurt.
Anyone who is not important
By breed, wealth or rank
Can become important thus.

Well, you know, I think in conversations with members of the Senate and others, they all recognize that the issue of immigration is important. It's important to our nation, it's important to our public safety, it's important to our security, it's important to our economic well-being moving forward. And it's not something that's going to go away.

I don't think at that time I realized how important it was and how important it was for me to be here and carry on that legacy in our family of being a photographer.

Experiment of God's Wish
That we live encouraged,
To acknowledge and grow...
Is important.
That we share what is learned...
And upon others bestow,
What it is we know...
Is important.
That the slate is wiped cleaned,
From that which is demeaning.
And we strive to occupy our minds,
With meaning and beneficial things.
And this to others we present and bring...
Is important while we still exist.
To discover that which affords us all happiness,
Is important.
Since this is why we have been blessed to be here!
And this is the 'experiment' of God's wish!
For you,
And me.
On this planet we have come to call Earth.
This has been important,
From the time we experienced,
That process of birth.

And having a strong family, you know we've lost some members of our family and had some setbacks, but I think a good family and kids all those things I thought at one time... you got to be kidding me... Those things are so important they enable you to go on.

You May Know A Lot About Your Favourite Game
You may know a lot about your favourite game
And from your commentaries and writings on it you know of wealth and fame
But there's more to life than talking of and writing of football
And about other things you seem to know little at all
By the followers of football your type are well known
And they look up to you as one in a class of your own
They well may be happy your praises to sing
For football to them is an important thing
But by other than me it has been said before
That football is just a game that and little more
For many from life's cares a brief getaway
To cheer on their team in the game of the day
And you football writer and commentator and sporting celebrity
You may seem enlightened to many but not so to me.

Imitating
We all have someone we look up to and admire,
And imitating others is something we all do!
Whether we admit it or not,
For life is all about the muse of mankind.
Important thoughts and actions,
Do not touch it if it is not your own;
Important thoughts and actions,
Do not touch me if i am not your wife;
Important thoughts and actions,
Do not use it if it is not your own;
Important thoughts and actions,
Do not use me if you are not my husband;
And like family members and friends,
But i am the muse next door to you.

Light Is More Important Than The Lantern
Light is more important than the lantern,
The poem more important than the notebook,
And the kiss more important than the lips.
My letters to you
Are greater and more important than both of us.
The are the only documents
Where people will discover
Your beauty
And my madness.

My Friends And Loved Ones- In Dedication To My Pals @ School!
we know that love is there for all
friends and family at home or abroad
this is to spread the love to all
this is no matter if the going gets tough
family and friends in this world
are as important, more important in fact
than cash alone,
cash means nothing to me,
but friends mean it more to me than you'll ever know
you know that i'll be there for you always.
forever may family and friendship reign

Big Mal
This saturday his team were defeated and after the game in the pub
Big Mal was not in the mood for talking or singing the anthem of his club
Beaten by a point in a thriller but he does not take pride in an honourable defeat
To him victory only matter and winning to him always sweet.
Big Mal he has never played football though football plays a huge part in his life
The football team he supports to him as important as his young son or his beautiful wife
When his team as he calls them win he feels happy but losses he finds hard to take
But after each win he feels happy what a difference a victory can make.
Big Mal is a likeable fellow and so much about him to like
He does not drive his car when he's drinking he cycles to and from the pub on his pushbike
He says I need my driver's licence for work and at the weekend to watch my team play
My wife and son and my football team to me most important he say.
This saturday his team were the losers and Big Mal not happy at all
He feels sad on such an occasion and he never talks of football
But he has next weekend to look forward to and next saturday and sunday night
A win in the pub he may be celebrating and laughing aloud in delight.

Go beyond
sometimes, when i am all alone and lost in thought,
i think of the past days where everything seemed so buisy and hurried,
and i wish that we had more time together.
but maybe counting the minutes together isnt whats important anyway.
what is important,
is that now we can go beyond the limits of time together,
and find a love so strong that we can share our lives forever.
so i wrote you today this poem to say,
thank you for sharing your life with me.

Their Football Team To Them Important
Their flags and their banners they are waving with joy and excitement they shout
The hero has kicked the winning goal but what are they shouting about
To them it should not really matter 'tis only a game of football
But to them it is very important and their's is the best team of all.
At least that is how they do see it their lives revolves around their team
When their team win a huge boost to their egos and a loss bad for their self esteem
Last week their team lost in a thriller but their loss reduced them to tears
And tonight they will sing their Club song in the Local and celebrate with a few beers.
They look forward to the football Season and they live for the love of the game
And on their bedroom walls a poster sized photograph of their heroes and they know every player by name
Why do they take football so serious they talk about it at work every day
But suppose each of us have our own passions and each to their own one might say.
Their flags and their banners they are waving as proudly they sing their Club song
And they look forward to next weekend's game each day till then for them too long
Their football team to them important their lives revolve around the game
And each time their heroes are defeated the umpires for the loss they will blame.

Kick the Ball
Kick the ball and score a goal! !
For that's all about football;
Because the goals are much important than,
Those who played the best match!
And like the 'Women Football World Cup' as seen on our screens,
For 2011 took the game to Germany.

Oh Mine Papa
I know how important the emotional bond between father and child is,
So so important in the child’s journey in life with dad.
To receive the Shaping of personality,
the forming strength in character, the love for family,
all these things including teaching the power of Gods love.
The awesome awesomeness a young boy sees in the huge hands of his dad
and the security he finds when he nestles into them.
His football coach, fishing mentor and most important of all the
tower of strength that stands tall in the home and is not afraid to show all his
love to mum and all his children. Who am I to shout out loud to know all these things?
For a life time they were all in my head.
Let’s just look in my early boyhood diaries—many years ago and see.
“Hello Robin I thought your new bike had a broken chain, ”
“Aw my dad fixed it last night, he can fix anything, ”
Wow he’s his umbrella in the pouring rain
Why do I feel tummy pain?
“Hello Susie under the old oak tree I love your rope swing, ”
“Pa fixed it last night, now with birds I can fly and whistle and sing”
Why do I feel so jealous for such a wonderful thing?
Oh there is Billy’s pa throwing him high in the air,
Strong and firm and catching him, strength with flair
Why do I feel it all seems so unfair?
Why you might ask a five year old boy clutching his toy,
Who saw all the commotion as mum called in vain?
As my dad opened the door and left
And we never ever
Saw him again.
Nevertheless
Happy Fathers Day xxx

The curse of the children
Let the head roll; the nation is important.
Let the captain go; the team is important.
Sac the manager; the unit is important.
For mother, no change; the curse of the offspring.
