Freud said that we are born as a tabula rasa. This is a model that simply is too superficial and inadequate.

Inadequate
Inadequate.
It means not enough.
Like water in a glass half full
it is insufficient.
Some necessary bit is absent.
Inadequate is deficient.
It is vitamin C
in the diet of someone suffering from scurvy.
Inadequate is precisely what you feel
when you work yourself tired
for something your heart so desired
and in the end disappoint yourself still.
Inadequate is when you lack the will
to even try because somewhere inside
you just know you will fail.
Inadequate is someone when rejected.
Something inadequate is something defective.
Inadequate can mean not deserving company
almost like you're invisible maybe,
too unimportant to like or hate.
This word 'inadequate'
resounds in my head of late.

Since the model he so faithfully copies is not going to be hung up next to the picture... it is of no interest whether it is an accurate copy of the model.

There Is Always A Resolution
the conflicts are the
sand castles
they won't last that
long with the
waves
leveling everything
to the shore
the waves take
what is due
them
the sand castles give
way
and then there is peace
a blank piece
a tabula rasa
that nature offers
to the mind
persistent
on the truth
the open space
the freedom of the
air
the pigeons
moving home
to roost

A Definition Of Life....
it is the feeling
of a desert that we
feel sometimes
deep in our
hearts on
some nights
following
completely dark
the stars are not
there
you miss the howl
of the jackal
or the strong sounds
of the sandstorm
you hate this
void
you want to expel
it
you draw the desert
and then
erase it
you paint a cactus
and you wash it
away on the
canvass
what remains
is the coarse
cloth and the
frame of
silver
tabula rasa
you begin again
on the blankness
and the bluntness
of your
thinking
you stop
and ponder and
make a definition
of life...

Love Without Heart
Feel the premonition
before a harrowing love story;
transported your mind near
a malicious face. she'll bring a murky night,
throttle you! don't forget my friends….
She become a petal of petulant,
You'll turn to as a member of
Sarcastic family. you have to cast away her
as her fickle love makes your life solvable.
carry out some responsibilities and say!
Feel! A glade way, the love without heart!
Create a tabula rasa for her! For your life!
Feel it! do it!

Tenth Emotion
Rasaas are nine, we are told.
They are: anger, surprise,
Happiness, Disgust, fear
Courage, pity, calm and strength.
What rasa is it when a man
Manifests on seeing a sexy woman?
Lust is tenth rasa.

The Goat Convention
The goats held a convention.
“We want liberation! ”
They bleated boldly.
“I want to hear concrete suggestions”,
Advised the chairman gently.
“And tabula rasa”, he added.
The result, however,
Was only a long and silent pause.
Eventually though one goat rose
To say something.
He cleared his throat
And valiantly addressed the assembly:
“Our liberation and the struggle
To achieve equal rights go hand in hand.
So, in view of the fact
That men can wear goatees,
I propose that we goats also start
To wear manly fashioned beards”.

Superficial Society
So I'm not good enough to hang out with your friends
You say it's a bluff, it's no lie
You want to be cool and hang with both sides
But what would they say, I'm the fool
It's a superficial society
It's a bunch of bullshit can't you see
Why wouldn't you wake up to reality
I guess backstabbing ain't the way of life for me
Open your mind and close your eyes
To the things that really persist
It's not your hair or the things you wear
That makes someone socially exist
It's hard to find yourself sometimes
Around the people with a cool policy
Why don't you let yourself unwind
And leave that lame society
Superficial society
Superficial society
Superficial society
It's all superfical to me
Superficial society
Superficial society

A woodpecker pecked wood.
A woodpecker pecked wood.
Pointed in dismay
arranged to be sharp,
my sword moves
a plain battlefield
of bloodspotted ink
which will stay.
Stained by fools
who never learned
to break the
walls of prejudices down,
i frown in surprise.
How can I start
a life that's never begun,
were can i put
my big little toe?
Shocked by my
clodded
tabula rasa,
i break down
and cry.
The field is grained
and dotted
with grey, black
and reds,
on a sunny
display.
A woodpecker
pecked wood,
misunderstood
and then stopped
to learn.....
to be good. Madrason 30-09-2010

Model Citizen
Be an Arab
Be a Jew
Be a boxing
Kangaroo
Beat yourself
All black and blue
I don't care
Be a bleeder
Be a Cancer
A hemophiliac
Romancer
Be a crippled disco
Dancer
Oooh... What a pair
He's a model citizen
I think I've got them fooled them again
He's an ultra-sweety guy
And a master of disguise
He's a model citizen
Just keep believing that my friends
I'm a model citizen
I'm a model citizen
I'm a model citizen
I'm a model citizen
I'm an all American!!!
I'm a hostage
In a city of creeps
They've got mercenary guards
That watch me sleep
They'd like to kill me slow
Bury me deep
In the heart of Texas
I'm a martyr
I'm a sadist
I might be the Saviour here to save us
I'm a friend of Sammy Davis, casually
He's a model citizen
I think I've got them fooled again
He's an ultra-sweety guy
I won't let down my disguise
He's a model citizen
Just keep believing that my friends
I'm a model citizen
I'm a model citizen
I'm a model citizen
I'm a model citizen
I'm an all American
I'm a model citizen
I'm a model citizen
I'm a model citizen
I'm an all American

Beast, Book, Body
I was sick of being a woman,
sick of the pain,
the irrelevant detail of sex,
my own concavity
uselessly hungering
and emptier whenever it was filled,
and filled finally
by its own emptiness,
seeking the garden of solitude
instead of men.
The white bed
in the green garden--
I looked forward
to sleeping alone
the way some long
for a lover.
Even when you arrived,
I tried to beat you
away with my sadness,
my cynical seductions,
and my trick of
turning a slave
into a master.
And all because
you made
my fingertips ache
and my eyes cross
in passion
that did not know its own name.
Bear, beast, lover
of the book of my body,
you turned my pages
and discovered
what was there
to be written
on the other side.
And now
I am blank
for you,
a tabula rasa
ready to be printed
with letters
in an undiscovered language
by the great press
of our love.

The picture is all he feels about it, all he thinks worth preserving of it, all he invests it with. If all the qualities which a painter took from the model for his picture were really taken, no person could be painted twice.

Hypo Cause Hyper Destruction
supra strata lead astray
with the lack of knowledge
an overflow of tragedy takes
introfacial extra muscles
innermost unmuskedly naked
the remnants of strength
entropy fighting
(there are no holes my dear
except in the memories
the black holes talked about
in g nite nightmare stories
examples of bad parenting
or schooling tabula rasa
fulfillment just to б е emptied again
't was all in the head they said
there's no saying against that
and no coming over it too)
but the foe is alive
the bingo king of questions
hit against the wall
the wall fighting the shape of a home
(there are no houses my dear
unless modeled on a friend
with eyes like windows
and mouth made of door)
come in
eyes closed mouth shut
derision grin cunningly
don't slap it just forget it
and it'll be ok

Positive Role Model
Here we are
where we were
back on everything
Went too far
now we're fine
back on everything
So much for making it day by day
Back on everything
Instead of taking another way
we're back on everything
I want a positive role model
I want a positive role model
My reflection on the street
Is that the way I walk?
Introspection as I speak
I need to change the way I talk
In a changing world
there's so much you could be
Why can't you choose your self
like your enemy?
Have you ever imagined
a new you?
I could be someone else
Somebody new
Reinvention:
my intention
I want a positive role model
I want a positive role model
I want a positive role model
I want a positive role model

At that point it certainly would be called abstract. That is to say, you had a model and there'd be one or two or three people there drawing the model but otherwise you had abstractions all around the room, even though the model was in front of you.
