Farewell! I breathe that wonted prayer,
But oh! though countless leagues divide

Our Candle
When we met
our candle burnt brightly,
then it began to dim.
We relit the candle
hoping it would burn brightly again,
rekindling our passions
to lock ourselves in each other’s arms
and become the two young lovers
as we were once before.
Our candle has a second chance
