The absurd is born of the confrontation between the human call and the unreasonable silence of the world.

However Absurd
Ears twitch, like a dog, breaking eggs in a dish.
Do not mock me when I say this is not a lie.
Its funny thing, half serious, with our hands on our ears.
Living dreams with mouths ajar, wide awake, we go to sleep.
However absurd, however absurd... it may seem.
However absurd, however absurd... it may seem.
Something special between us, when we mmade love the game was over.
I couldnt say the words, words wouldnt get ny feelings through,
So I keep talking to you...
However absurd, however absurd... it may seem.
However absurd, however absurd... it may seem.
Custom made dinosaurs, too late now, for a change.
Everything is under the sun, but nothing is for keeps...
However absurd, however absurd... it may seem.
However absurd, however absurd... it may seem.

Born To Rocknroll
If music be the food of love then play on
Lend me your ears as I lay down this song
Youre touched by the feeling-its hard to control
Let me tell you people
I was born to rocknroll
Some people want to fight- some people want to fly
Others live for pleasure-even do or die
Some are born to power-try to save a soul
Let me tell you people
I was born to rocknroll
It may sound a little absurd
But I was born to spread the word
Got the music in my soul
I was born to rocknroll
Some people are born to money
Privileged all their days
Never had a problem-never had to pay
But I dont have a doubt about the feeling in my soul
Let me tell you people
I was born to rocknroll
It may sound a little absurd
But I was born to spread the word
Got the music in my soul
I was born to rocknroll
(instrumental)
It may sound a little absurd
But I was born to spread the word
Got the music in my soul
I was born to rocknroll
It may sound a little absurd
But I was born to spread the word
Got the music in my soul
I was born to rocknroll
Born to rocknroll
I was born to rocknroll

Silence Is Not Enough
SILENCE IS NOT ENOUGH
Silence is not enough
The human needs words and sentences
Speech and meaning
Silence and waiting in silence
And loving silence so much
Are not enough
Even the longest silence is not enough
We need to speak to another person
We need human hearing
Living in the silence of our own lost selves is not enough
We need to be heard and be listened to
And to speak in a world where there are listeners
Who know how to reply.

In the ordinary affairs of life we do not require nor expect demonstrative evidence, because it is inconsistent with the nature of matters of fact, and to insist on its production would be unreasonable and absurd.

I Wish I Had Been Born A Bird...[Personal; Birds; Humor]
My parents were both humans, so I am human too,
but I'd wish to be a bird, if I could be born anew.
Though I 'love' birds, you may think my wish absurd.
But more absurd wishes I'm sure you have heard.
Of course I'm not a bird and never will be.
But if I could talk to birds I could better see
if the life of a bird would really satisfy me.
Eating seeds and bugs and such, and sitting in a tree.
My bird of choice? How would I pick a winner?
Not a penguin, who has to dress for dinner.
Not an ostrich, another flightless bird.
And a strutting peacock might just be absurd.
Perhaps an eagle, soaring high above you,
or a hummingbird, acrobat of the blue.
Or perhaps a mighty swan swimming gracefully,
or a nightingale whistling a concert, free.
For certain I would not choose a caged-life,
though, uncaged, dangers for me might be rife.
I think I'd prefer fresh-kill to old road kill,
and a nest in tree rather than on window sill.
If a bird, I'd not have had to deal with military draft.
Or had others think sometimes that I am daft.
All sorts of human signs and laws I could spurn.
And there'd be no reason to file a tax return.
I'd have no need to wear or ever change diapers,
no need to get gas or change windshield wipers,
no need for lawyers or too many teachers,
no need to listen to rehashing preachers,
no need to plan for death or watch my cholesterol.
As a bird I'd just have to listen to Mother Nature's call.

Sounds of Silence
Nature’s greatest gifts attacked by disquieted nations,
Leaving nothing in place but mechanical reverberations.
Melodies of the woods serenading shooting stars
Surrender to hammers pounding and boisterous cars.
Silence, soothing silence, you have spoken a world to me.
A partner with whisperings always meant to set me free.
Now a threatened companion once always at my side;
When juxtaposed with greed I often ignored your guide.
Silence, I beseech you, use tones soft, but clear
So no matter where I am, I’ll know you can be near.
At times when myriad noises distract or voices demur,
Hypnotize me into your world where all thought is pure.
Silence oh silence; I need you more each and every day.
Clear my mind; destroy that grind with your gentle way.
Silence my silence; I promise to hear your every word.
Give me peace and help me cease to value the absurd.

Mercy Me Mercy You
never mercy me in the moon light
thou I shall mercy you
day or night
you shall be the weaker
one of the two
therefor I am stronger
at my weakest point
I am stronger than you
at your strongest
I have no muscles
therefore I cant
walk
talk
feed myself
control my arms or legs
or my body waste for that matter
I may not have them
in the physical world but
I more than make up for them
in the mental world
“ you dont”
there is where I’m stronger
than you or anyone
“normal ”
there I will dominate
the world
for there is where I am
“better” then you
don’t call me names
therefore I will turn my head
I’ve heard them all
you don’t need to remind me
of what I am
of what I was born with
of what I live with
day to day
don’t stare at me
it’s not nice
I know I look
“different”
then you
than anyone else
why are you so quick to judge
you don’t know me
I’m not different than you
or
anyone else
call me retarded
call me disabled
call me a freak
call me non human
but I’m just a girl
a girl with
Cerebral Palsy

Once Upon
Robbing the silence of heights
to undo the whole sky, you lean on
an enigma to become reverential,
elevated by an absurd system;
I was still pursuing fidelity
in the rubble of meaningless life;
not faith, but certain urge to follow
the doorway to unknown, something to be done
for the hungry child’s scream,
the truth that was not there, nor with the
inclined gods of tomorrow. Then where
shall we meet in the grazing bones
of new born human culture?
The instant music of death wish lingers on a moon
and then flies away in a kiss.

Return To Innocence
ANGEL OF DARKNESS
RETURN TO INNOCENCE
Open the door, go through the entrance
Behind the door, into the darkness
Right on the floor, the source of silence
With just a call makes every thing useless
That call is a single cry
A sound that can make you shy
Without a move you're tied
Confronted with your own desire
Just a doubt in your mind
A wall to hide behind
To take a break and remind
To stay noble, clean and kind
A call to a moment of reminiscence
A confrontation with my soul's absence
A direct touch to my heart, to my conscience
Is how my baby's smile returns me to innocence...
(to be continued...)

Racism And Rank
Racism and Rank are humanity's shame
All people should be equal and the same
But in my lifetime this will never be
In the Human World of inequality
The person born into a so called royal family
Should be no more equal than the likes of you and me
But human society is not structured in this way
And such is life as some are known to say
The facts tell us so and facts do never lie
That human beings are mortals and all born to die
The billionaire like the pauper to the Reaper's scythe must fall
Eventually death comes to one and all
In the Human World inequality of Rank and Race
Seems sad to say will always have a place.
