Be assured, fellow citizens, that in a democracy it is the laws that guard the person of the citizen and the constitution of the state, whereas the despot and the oligarch find their protection in suspicion and in armed guards.

Indian State
Decides its citizens’ fate.
Did we hear Constitution provides
Some Fundamental Rights?
Govt. for the people, by the people, of the people
Nay, simply without vision and principles

Democracy a farce.
BASED ON news that a Mumbai couple’s plea to High Court to abort the unborn child, whom the doctors have prenatally diagnosed as having a serious heart problem, has been rejected. Thus forcing the parents and child to a life of inexplicable misery.

If you think aficionados of a living Constitution want to bring you flexibility, think again. You think the death penalty is a good idea? Persuade your fellow citizens to adopt it. You want a right to abortion? Persuade your fellow citizens and enact it. That's flexibility.

A Good Citizen
When i hear someone referred to as a good citizen i feel like laughing aloud
Your government approves of you big brother of you proud
But if you die tomorrow the government won't care
To them you are just a number and your type are not rare,
The government and big brother you do not need to impress
Their approval or disapproval will not ease your cares and stress
The one who is a good friend to the neighbour is surely far more great
Than the one big brother looks upon as a good friend of the State,
The good citizens pay their taxes and work hard for their pay
And they vote in a lousy Government on National election day
And good citizens dob in their fellow citizen to the police for a minor traffic offence
In their quest for big brother's approval they sacrifice common sense
And many more good citizens they passed away today
They worked hard and voted in a lousy government and their taxes they did pay.

As long as there are guns, the individual that wants a gun for a crime is going to have one and going to get it. The only person who's going to be penalized and have difficulty is the law-abiding citizen, who then cannot have it if he wants protection-the protection of a weapon in his home, for home protection.

Each state, so that it does not abridge the great fundamental rights belonging, under the Constitution, to all citizens, may grant or withhold such civil rights as it pleases; all that is required is that, in this respect, its laws shall be impartial.

Citizen
Citizen
A cure to kill the east
A disease of the west
Romance is no escape
But Ill escape you
The manufacturing sound
Complaining to ourselves
Youre cutting up our friends
Making love to our sisters
Another endless day
Another daze
But Im losing track
The train goes off the rails
Dance of the youth
Youth want to dance
Citizen
The tribal war begins
But radios a god
Industrial money
God is industry
Dance of youth
Citizen you know what were after
Know what were after
Know what were after
Citizen
The state that weve come to love
Loves a crime against the state
I hate the sound of bells
Communications lost
Something were after
I hate democracy
One more contact lost
Love
A crime against the state
The state weve come to love
Oh electric candle light
What time is it over there
We got to wear a badge
Were losing track of days
Dance of the youth
Youth want to dance
Citizen
Ill share a room with you
Youre getting so very thin
Did we ask for this
Are you rationing our water
Dance of the youth
Our food is getting cold
And youre getting colder
I see you
Im not so unaware
Citizen
Citizen
An american
Got got a camera
Takes a picture
Citizen
Drum
Citizen
Drum
Citizen
Drum
To drum to drum

THE RIOTS OVER THERE Apr 1st 2011
I’m not sure what to think about those many riots over there,
Are they good; are they bad; and what’s the end result in these affairs?
There’s usually at least a dozen riots going on all at once,
And that many despot dictators showing off their arrogance.
And the UN has shown that they are absolutely confused,
As we wonder whose side are they on and we’re not amused,
Wouldn’t dare tell despot dictators that maybe they should quit,
Or tell the rioters that a constitution could benefit.
These despot dictator guys are usually replaced by others,
Could be some sort of relative or even a brother,
Constitutional writers are not well known over there,
In fact no one has ever heard of one in these despot affairs.

Model Citizen
Be an Arab
Be a Jew
Be a boxing
Kangaroo
Beat yourself
All black and blue
I don't care
Be a bleeder
Be a Cancer
A hemophiliac
Romancer
Be a crippled disco
Dancer
Oooh... What a pair
He's a model citizen
I think I've got them fooled them again
He's an ultra-sweety guy
And a master of disguise
He's a model citizen
Just keep believing that my friends
I'm a model citizen
I'm a model citizen
I'm a model citizen
I'm a model citizen
I'm an all American!!!
I'm a hostage
In a city of creeps
They've got mercenary guards
That watch me sleep
They'd like to kill me slow
Bury me deep
In the heart of Texas
I'm a martyr
I'm a sadist
I might be the Saviour here to save us
I'm a friend of Sammy Davis, casually
He's a model citizen
I think I've got them fooled again
He's an ultra-sweety guy
I won't let down my disguise
He's a model citizen
Just keep believing that my friends
I'm a model citizen
I'm a model citizen
I'm a model citizen
I'm a model citizen
I'm an all American
I'm a model citizen
I'm a model citizen
I'm a model citizen
I'm an all American

Democracy
If a country’s majority of people are illiterate
Democracy will bear no sweet fruit
Whereas if a country’s most of the people are educated
Democracy will bring peace, harmony and prosperity.
Therefore governments ought to provide education to all citizens
In order to obtain good results of democracy
And if necessary they should go for free education
For the poor people irrespective of sex.
On the other hand education should be up to the mark
And moral education should also be provided
So that a corruption-free society can be established.
Thus democracy is able to set up a welfare state
With a minimum timeframe.

Neither spite, fellow citizens,
Nor forgetfulness of the shiftlessness,
And the lawlessness and waste
Under democracy's rule in Spoon River
Made me desert the party of law and order
And lead the liberal party.
Fellow citizens! I saw as one with second sight
That every man of the millions of men
Who give themselves to Freedom,
And fail while Freedom fails,
Enduring waste and lawlessness,
And the rule of the weak and the blind,
Dies in the hope of building earth,
Like the coral insect, for the temple
To stand on at the last.
And I swear that Freedom will wage to the end
The war for making every soul
Wise and strong and as fit to rule
As Plato's lofty guardians
In a world republic girdled!

For Government To Be Fair!
for any government to be fair,
every citizen has to be
just as important as every other.
every citizen has to have equal rights,
whether black or white,
rich or poor, gay or straight.
whether they believe in the same god,
in another, or in none.
whether they speak english,
or another language.
whether they are educated,
or not!
every citizen has to have an equal chance,
for employment, for education,
for housing, for love and happiness.
and every citizen has to respect,
both himself, and others...
this government should be
a government by the people...
any leader should be from among the people.
government, small in tether,
large in affirmation!
we're not anywhere close to this in America!
we have been sold out by our own greed,
and have chosen in our apathy to follow the lie.
now it's come to a head!
what we do next determines if democracy works.
what we do next defines our level of humanity.
call it democracy, call it socialism,
it doesnt matter what you call it.
what it has to be is redemption...
what it has to bring, is freedom!
finally!

You can have all the gun control laws in the country, but if you don't enforce them, people are going to find a way to protect themselves. We need to recognize that bad people are doing bad things with these weapons. It's not the law-abiding citizens, it's not the person who uses it as a hobby.

Apathy rages unchecked
The time has come for real debate about the power of the state.
to interfere with liberties we have enjoyed for centuries.
Encouraged by our apathy the state moves forward stealthily
towards its long desired goal exerting power and control.
Reducing our right to choose intolerant of other views
The state knows best their constant theme as secretly they plot and scheme
To alter the existing laws and thus gain power to enforce
Further curbs on liberty, stealing power insidiously.
The time has come to call a halt, root out the guilty men at fault.
Strip them of all authority which they obtained dishonestly.
Remind them that the people rule. The government is just a tool
which we employ to do a task, or is that far too much to ask.
I am free born a citizen, a man just like all other men
I do not need a nanny state which has the power to dictate.
to tell me what to eat and drink and try to tell me what to think.
It’s time the people aired their views and stated firmly they refuse
to allow any government to act without their full consent.
Is this a democracy? to me it doesn’t seem to be.
Although you may reject my views while you have the power to choose.
