The Worst And The Best

in the hospitals and jails
it's the worst
in madhouses
it's the worst
in penthouses
it's the worst
in skid row flophouses
it's the worst
at poetry readings
at rock concerts
at benefits for the disabled
it's the worst
at funerals
at weddings
it's the worst
at parades
at skating rinks
at sexual orgies
it's the worst

it's the worst

Sins and Virtues

Even the nicest person will turn worst
If his instincts are provoked to react.
Even the worst person will turn best
If his instincts are lulled and put to sleep.

Sins exist despite virtues.

Worst Person

i am a worst person
worst person who wish to kill my enemy
i want to kill them until they ask for a pity
kill them until their tears is falling

until their blood flow like a river
i want to see them screaming
screaming to me with tears of blood
blood of their own

i want to revenge for justice
justice that im asking for so long
so long that I've been to silence
so long that I'm crying as i sleep

because before i have no strength to fight
but now i found my strength
i don't have to cry as i sleep
my face will be brighten again

if i will kill them
i can taste the sweetness of a revenge
i don't have a pity with them anymore
because i am a worst person

Your Real Soul

Better to be
The servant of great men
Than the master
Of scoundrels;
Better to die
For a woman’s honor
Than be dishonored
In her eyes.

Life takes priorities
And the willingness
To accept sacrifice:
Once you’re dead,
Your real soul survives
In other peoples’ minds.

One Day Someone Will Say The Same Of Me

The hearse through the main street is passing slow
With the funeral cars following in a single row
Is the dead person a he or a she?
One day someone will say the same of me.

And did that person die young or old
And will her or his life story be told?
To the departed that does not matter 'twould seem
As the dead do not have a sense of self esteem.

The funeral towards the cemetery winds it's way
Up through the main street at noon of day
But on the cortege shoppers no interest show
As in and out of shops they go.

The dead from the Land of the living gone
But life for the living must go on
And the same fate surely awaits you and I
As the dead person in the hearse going by.

Original - Time, My Worst Enemy

Time, My Worst Enemy
Keeping me away from you
Time, My Worst Enemy
Moving slowly when we’re apart

Time, My Worst Enemy
Fleeting when you are near
Time, My Worst Enemy
Battling with it daily

Time, My Worst Enemy
Stealing moments from the clock
Time, My Worst Enemy
Until you are in my arms again

Time, My Worst Enemy
Rapidly chasing us down
Time, My Worst Enemy
He will not take you this time

Time, My Worst Enemy
You are in my arms to stay
Time, My Worst Enemy
Has Lost!

Where Is She?

Where is she, I wondered, when she wasn't there.
If she's not here she could be anywhere. She could be
anywhere and not alone.
I began to imagine the worst. At every imagining
I thought I had imagined the worst, then I imagined
something even worse. It got to the point where my
imaginings no longer included her. I realized that the
worst did not encompass her. As my imaginings continued,
as worst superseded worst, making the preceding worst
only worse, I began to forget her. As worst got worse,
I forgot her more. Things were getting pretty bad, and
I had almost forgotten her completely, when she
reappeared.

Your Own Worst Enemy

Its your own worst enemy
Ringing the bell on the door
And the person inside says nobodys home
So your own worst enemy peeks inside
And sees you softly weeping as some music fills the room
And the song they play
Is that guy with the messed up face
Going, precious and few are the moments that you
And your own worst enemy share
Full bottle in front of me
Time to roll up my sleeves
And get to work
And after many glasses of work
I get paid in the brain
And the song they play
Is that guy with the messed up face
Going, precious and few are the moments that you
And your own worst enemy share
And the song they play
Is that guy with the messed up face
Going, precious and few are the moments that you
And your own worst enemy share
Its your own worst enemy

Just wait a little longer

I came so close to breaking down,
so close to losing it all.
I never thought that this I'd say,
But please catch me when I fall.

For so long I've been running away,
afraid to face my fears.
And now you've come and picked me up,
and wiped away my tears.

If only you could see,
just how far I've come.
The person I used to be,
and the person standing here...right now.

So could you wait a little longer,
for the sorry I wish to say.
For only you could ever know,
how much it hurts this way.

I thought I kept it still,
locked up and hidden far.
And yet you come and pry my heart out,
open to you as the sun.

Many nights you've seen me,
at my very worst.
And yet you love me all the same,
Filling my heart till it bursts

If only you could see,
just how far I've come.
The person I used to be,
and the person standing here...right now.

(I meant this as a song, but it can go both ways :)

John McCarthy

Don't try to talk anyone out of concentrating his hatred on Ayn Rand or any other dead person. It can't harm the dead. Diverted to a living person, it might actually do harm.

Just Punishment

At least I have made myself into the
most unlovable person who has ever
been, some consolation indeed; I am
a scoundrel at work, taking up space
and oxygen, at home I'm too pre-
occupied to get anyone's attention

Only when I became resigned that my
daughter would smash her car could I
relax while she charged all obstacles,
refusing to change gears even when
the car stalled; I cried in despair as
my son bicycled home in the dark

The only consolation I got was that he
promised not to do it again - I give up
tried in vain to attain spiritual growth;
I am the worst person I know - the
sooner I give up wrong ideals and
attempt being the worst delinquent

The world has ever seen, the sooner I
would be happy again, emitting such
a low vibration, it will take a million
lifetimes to take me to a higher
plane; every friend I have
dreamt of, every ideal

Destroyed by MYSELF spiritualists say,
claiming we create our own reality, my
feelings inform me I have created the
worst nightmare - losing family and
friends - according to twin sis, my
dad feels the same about life

I wish I could share my pain with him
but he is out of bounds; just my luck
that us two scoundrels may not meet
again, such just punishment…

What Can One Person Do

(n. rodgers/g. smith)
What can one person do
More than a little bit
More than a little bit
Can I fight the battle
All by myself
Can I make a miracle happen
As long as I can think
And got my health
Ill never stop
Im too strong for that
What can one person do
When its one like you
When its one like me
What can one person do
When its one like you
When its one like me
Everyones gotta move
What they can move
The faithful can sometimes move mountains
When your faith is right
You will never lose your heart, your hope
Or your good friends
Dont be overcome by frustrations
Live up to your highest expectations
Im tellin you just for your information
Just for, just for your information
What can one person do
When its one like you
When its one like me
What can one person do
When its one like you
When its one like me
What can one person do
When its one like you
When its one like me
What can one person do
When its one like you
When its one like me
Looked into my soul and suspected
That Im gonna take, gonna take on the unexpected
Walked into the fire unprotected
Walk into the fire
What can one person do
What can one person be
What can one person do
When its one like you
When its one like me
What can one person do
When its one like you
When its one like me
What can one person do
When its one like you
When its one like me
What can one person do
When its one like you
When its one like me
What can one person do
When its one like you
When its one like me
What can one person do
When its one like you
When its one like me

Dream Eater

Sometimes I kill you, or I let you live
My name is the Mr. simply the mister
I control your dreams, every dream you have is in my hands
When your running away from a monster, down the street, its not a monster
That thing chasing you, its society, it’s the prejudice, the racism, the hatred
When your having that nice dream, about a beautiful person, that just makes you-
That person, the beautiful person, is dead, too involved in looks, they have AIDS, you die, remember silly
Of course that dream about heaven you had just the other day, its so beautiful, white and pure
That’s actually hell, you woke up before the flames engulfed the purity, and all HELL broke loose
That other dream, the one you always had since a child, you always die at the end, by the mysterious figure, who you cant describe, just like a blob
That blob, that figure, that is me, and that is how will you die
You will die by that same knife, the same day, at the same time
However, you don’t die physically, I kill your imagination
I will not allow you to imagine what life might be like, you simply live, and assimilate, with the vermin in the world
Forevermore, I have killed you, the worst death of all, your mind.

Over The Dead Body

Don’t fight over the dead body
Grudge and ego of people left behind
Could raise the worst world war
Don’t scared over the dead body
Silence and stillness of living human
Is more frightening than the ghost
Don’t keep mourning over the dead body
Sadness and lost of the one we love
Will be replaced by forever peace
Don’t worship over the dead body
Dreams could only be real and achieved
If we open our eyes to the world
Don’t disrespect over the dead body
It once belonged to precious life
Though the evidence corpse severely decayed
