That night at Carnegie Hall was a great experience. When the thing was first put up to me I was a little dubious, not knowing just what would be expected of us.

It was one of the most exciting, perfect evenings of my life, my solo debut at Carnegie Hall. And knowing we were all there to raise money for Gay Men's Health Crisis made the evening an extraordinary experience.

I've been involved with Carnegie Hall for the last 13 years, and Chairman for the last six. I feel really good about what we've done growing our educational programs there, building a board that has made Carnegie Hall really a world-class institution.

The Night
the night brings out a side in me
no one but you have ever seen
not even she has before
a side that could be dangerous
a side where I think I'm
unstoppable
untouchable
invinciblewhere it feels like I'm drugged
tonight I can just think
of what I could do
would do
should do
need
from you or with you
if only we were together
I should be going to sleep
but
I cant get you off my mind
this is what happens every night
were all I can think of is the thing that
might be
that could be
that should be
the thing we both want but can't have
but we are going to take anyway
the thing that we need from each other
it could change our relationship
for the better
or the worse
that day when we experience that great adventure
will come in time
so all I can do now is to dream
of how great that day
will be my love

Square Wave In Unison
Made a noise invented a sound
When brian wilson used it a hit was found
If only I could have imagined
The square waves running through his head
Square wave - people couldnt believe it
Square wave - all the way to carnegie hall
Square wave
One rod for pitch
Electro magnetic fields
Wired up sing sing
Hung out with einstein
For all all of his brilliant innovation
Sent off to a siberian reservation
Square wave - people couldnt believe it
Square wave - all the way to carnegie hall
Square wave

More Than This
I could feel at the time
There was no way of knowing
Fallen leaves in the night
Who can say where theyre blowing
As free as the wind
And hopefully learning
Why the sea on the tide
Has no way of turning
More than this
There is nothing
Oh more than this
You tell me one thing
More than this
You know there's nothing
It was fun for a while
There was no way of knowing
Like a dream in the night
Who can say where were going
No cares in the world
And maybe Im learning
Why the sea on the tide
It has no way of turning
More than this
You know there is nothing
Oh more than this
You tell me one thing
More than this
There is nothing
Nothing
More than this
You know there is nothing
Much more than this
You tell me one thing
More than this
There is nothing
More than

When you play a concerto with a small orchestra, you don't feel it is as important as Carnegie Hall. You try to work out all the little problems. Once that's all done, trust comes in.

Glitterball
Full of doubt, took the easy way out
Always said they couldnt find their place
Among some real dark stuff, they got to thinking enough
Remember halcyon days
Well spend our time with a bottle of wine
And a love that knows no human state
Never got to wake up early
Never got to feel so poorly
As the great unloved go dancing all the way
Glitterball - radiate round the hall
Lifts me up - then leaves me to fall
Glitterball - radiate round the hall
As the great unloved go dancing all the way
One step, two step, three step, four
Drag me to the middle, then you pulled me to the floor
Glitterball - radiate round the hall
As the great unloved go dancing all the way
And Ive been captured by imagination
I feel the faint vibration in the air
Been taken hostage by the one creation
Anticipate the night thats in your hair
Glitterball - radiate round the hall
Lifts me up - then leaves me to fall
Glitterball - radiate round the hall
As the great unloved go dancing all the way
Glitterball - radiate round the hall
Lifts me up - then leaves me to fall
Glitterball - radiate round the hall
As the great unloved go dancing all the way
One step, two step, three step, four
Drag me to the middle, then you pulled me to the floor
Glitterball - radiate round the hall
As the great unloved go dancing all the way
One final day
As the great unloved go dancing all the way
Dont make me wait
As the great unloved go dancing all the way
Dont make me wait
As the great unloved go dancing all the way

Knowing nothing
Knowing everything
Knowing what is
The use of knowing
Knowing great
Great knowing is
Earnig knowing.

Chosen Motives to Deceive
Ulterior motives,
Not realized exposed
On one's exterior to be seen,
Is expected from a child
Trying to hide a discovery,
Beginning to take a pride
In aspects of manipulation.
But an immature adult,
Unrehearsed
Offends,
Without knowing
Their chosen motives to deceive,
Lacks practice and experience.
And this when witnessed is disrespectful.

Seven Wonders
When shadows fall, hell close his eyes
To hear the clocks unwind
Powerless to leash the hands of time
Kindoms fall, the earth revolves
The rain will come this spring
And nothing he could say would change a thing
Seven wonders crowed the man
Knowing six are gone
And how the great illusion lingers on
He cant enfold, the sun or moon
Or wind within his hand
But count the times hell shout the great I am
With all the while, a pontiff smile
Veiling his disgrace
At never owning more than second place
Seven wonders crowed the man
Knowing six are gone
And how the great illusion lingers on
[instrumental]
Seven wonders crowed the man
Knowing six are gone
And how the great illusion lingers
While the sad confusion lingers
All the while illusion lingers on

How Can You Sleep?
How can you sleep, knowing that the one who Really do Loves you Feels Bad He Let You Go?
How can you sleep, knowing that the one who Really Loves you cant sleep at night?
How can you sleep, knowing that the one who Really do Loves you cant Eat Because you are no longer there?
How Can you sleep, knowing that all he wants to do is hear your voice every night before he goes to sleep?
How can you sleep, knowing that everyday all he do is long for your touch and the warmth of your Lips?
How can you sleep, knowing that your on his mind everyday, Minute, Hour, Second?
How can you sleep, knowing your his one and only, even when your not together?
How can you sleep, telling him truth about him but not being true to yourself?
How can you sleep, not telling him what you know you want him to know?
How can you sleep, knowing he put his trust in you and you let him down?
How can you know so much yet so little?
How Would You Sleep Knowing That One Day Soon Will Be The Last Day You Ever See Him Again Knowing He Did You So Good And Yet One Day You Let Him Down?
