The moments of happiness we enjoy take us by surprise. It is not that we seize them, but that they seize us.

To A Friend Named Sheila
grab the day, seize what is here now
it is never less neither more that what is not there yet
what is the past? it is useless to quantify
neither is there a need to qualify, for it is gone
i have the present, it has space, it is certain,
there is even no need to imagine
what is it.
I bid you, seize what is here
it is opening its arms
to embrace you.

Carpe Diem
Age saw two quiet children
Go loving by at twilight,
He knew not whether homeward,
Or outward from the village,
Or (chimes were ringing) churchward,
He waited, (they were strangers)
Till they were out of hearing
To bid them both be happy.
'Be happy, happy, happy,
And seize the day of pleasure.'
The age-long theme is Age's.
'Twas Age imposed on poems
Their gather-roses burden
To warn against the danger
That overtaken lovers
From being overflooded
With happiness should have it.
And yet not know they have it.
But bid life seize the present?
It lives less in the present
Than in the future always,
And less in both together
Than in the past. The present
Is too much for the senses,
Too crowding, too confusing-
Too present to imagine.

Corporate War Invasion Policies
who dreamed up these nightmares
Corporate War Invasion Policies?
dark nightmare red horse scenarios
brilliant satanic oiled invasions
instead of buying oil reserves
launch war seize oil resources
don't negotiate buy oil contracts
pay reserve nations a pittance for barrels
seize oil fields with barrel of guns

Seize The Day
Hey oh well it's my turn now
You've just lost your precious spot somehow
Me I'll take it all away
No one ever dreamed you'd up and walk away
You'd love to watch me be the throwaway
Just when I can finally seize the day
Take your self and disappear
You are still no longer welcome here
Fear drives you to act this way
The sum of all you've done will be the debt that you pay
You'd love to watch me be the throwaway
Just when I can finally seize the day
With the fear of losing it to you
I'll keep it close and finally break on through
You'd love to watch me be the throwaway
Just when I can finally seize the day
With the fear of losing it to you
I'll keep it close and finally break on through
Thanks to you

Holiness
Holiness covers my weaknesses
Melting my selfishness
Cause of you
Try with all my might
But it's your strength inside
Gives me the will to fight the battle through
And it's gotta be the right road
I gotta go where you go
I wanna throw out my arms
And seize the day for you
And it's gotta be the right way
Make sure that you're behind me
Cause you are the breakthrough light
You're my one true sight, oh you
Loneliness plays to my darkness
Caressing my vengefulness
When you're not here
As pressure destroys my mind
You conquer me every time
By mending the brokenness
Behind my fears
And it's gotta be the right road
I gotta go where you go
I wanna throw out my arms
And seize the day for you
And it's gotta be the right way
Make sure that you're behind me
Cause you are the breakthrough light
You're my one true sight, oh you
I can now look up
And face my deepest shades
And the fire across my bow
'Cause you know me
And I know you
And it's gotta be the right road
I gotta go where you go
I wanna throw out my arms
And seize the day for you
And it's gotta be the right way
Make sure that you're behind me
Cause you are the breakthrough light
You're my one true sight, oh you
And it's gotta be the right road
I gotta go where you go
I wanna throw out my arms
And seize the day for you
And it's gotta be the right way
Make sure that you're behind me
Cause you are the breakthrough light
You're my one true sight, oh you

Molester Lusting
Good fortune can leave anyone to bleed.
When the materialism of its worship,
Disappears mysteriously...
From a purpose thirsted.
Like a thief that sneaks,
And takes from hidden shadows...
Without a word to seize and reap.
Theft can make someone to grieve.
Like a molester lusting.
To pounce upon from darkness.
And determined to satisfy selfish needs.
Like a molester lusting...
People feed.
Like a molester lusting...
To take and seize.
Like a molester lusting...
Hopelessly.
Like a molester lusting...
Invading in a rush!
Like a molester lusting...
People feed.
Like a molester lusting...
To take and seize.
Like a molester lusting...
Hopelessly.
Like a molester lusting...
Breaking trust!
Good fortune can leave anyone to bleed.
When the materialism of its worship,
Disappears mysteriously...
From a purpose thirsted.
Snatched!
By a thief that sneaks,
And takes from hidden shadows...
Without a word to seize and reap.
Threatening to ruin one's invested peace.

Family Moments
Each family has moments,
Moments of happiness and emotion.
Moments that show love and kindness.
To each member of the family.
Some family moments are sad,
Some show hate that never lasts.
Then the truth shines and shows,
Each family moment is special after all.
Family moments may show happiness,
Happiness that lights up the earth.
Family Moments are amazing,
So don't forget your...
Family Moments.

Dreamhouse
I wish the stars came down,
I wish I could fly,
Up there is a sea,
Where the moon shines,
Up there, there is a sea,
Where the moon shines,
Where the moon shines,
Lets swim,
I wish for the moon to shine,
I wish I could fly,
Seize possibillities,
Seize the night.

Life-The Changing Story
The world we live in is not a nice world
Everywhere you go there is violence, poverty, and crime
The list could go on forever
But imagine what it would be like if it was switched
What if the world was a wonderful place?
A place where everyone gets along
There is no poor, no sick, no suffering
Class is gone and war is history
It's hard to imagine what that would be like
So we must enjoy the small things in life while we can
Those tiny moments that make you happy
They do not come often
When they do come, seize the day
Some things you never get a second opportunity to do
Life is an amazing gift
But it is only short
And things can be so easily missed.
