When law and duty are one, united by religion, you never become fully conscious, fully aware of yourself. You are always a little less than an individual.

Life Itself
"It is that life itself, fully awake, fully active,
fully aware that it is alive. It is spiritual wonder."
Thomas Merton, New Seeds of Contemplation
Dark rain penetrates
tender leaves, swell spirits, sparks
dormant roots to life.
Like a god, Your star
ascends; with wonder and grace
shines Your mighty face!

It's also helpful to realize that this very body that we have, that's sitting right here right now... with its aches and it pleasures... is exactly what we need to be fully human, fully awake, fully alive.

The Intent Of The Heart
i've made mistakes
in my life that have
hurt a lot of people....
i want to make sure
that what i'm doing now,
helps a lot of people.
it begins with admitting
and taking ownership
of my mistakes...
walking in forgiveness,
forgiving others, and myself,
as i go....
making every step count....
fully aware of the motives
behind each action....
fully aware of the weight
of every thought and word.....
of the responsibility we share
for and to each other.....
and to the earth.
freedom sweats,
compassion bleeds....
the truth is no further
than the intent of the heart!

Up in the Winds
Up in the winds carries a scent,
Fully dangerous for its beautiful smell.
Gods are with us, fully aware
Of the brilliant Sun, for gods bring
Thunder and Lightning,
A moment we express in this night.
My night is new, merely abject,
More than the arrival of day.
A day has passed its character
Interestingly and intriguingly.
We are full of the wind up there
Under the outer space feeling us.

Time Will Tell
As time passes by,
I am fully aware
Of what I am missing
And I am imaging
That you are perfectly conscious
Of what you have lost...
Now I must let you know
That there is not crime
Without any punishment on Earth
And for trespassing my heart,
The worse punishment you can get
Is to live the rest of your life
Without me.
Only time will tell.

Four colours
It is Brhmin
Who cracks his head
To seek knowledge
And sits supreme.
Fully secure.
It is Kshatrya
Who whips his ego
To seek power
And sits on the throne.
Fully in pride.
It is Vysya
Who stirs his desire
To seek wealth
And sits on the cushion.
Fully in comfort.
It is Sudhra
Who toils his limbs
To seek perfection
And wait for recognition.
Fully in satisfaction.
We lost many strains
In the process of revolt.

As human
You are humble
When perfectly noble
Think of no ill will
And certainly never want to kill
You are honest
Only when you perform best
Serve the people
Take them out of trouble
You are adored
When fully awake and not snored
You are sensitive and alive
Committed fully for others to relive
You become impatient
When fail to be resilient
It is most needed
For advise to be heeded
What makes man perfect?
When he truly acts
Not unduly reacts
And believes on facts
No to any greed
Limited to only need
Such is symbol of great man
To be called individual as human

It Is Not
Conscious of structure.
Conscious of order, law and discipline.
Conscious of those to whom is given respect.
Conscious of tradition and ideals...
And the effect this has on one's mindset.
Conscious of a faith that goes much deeper,
Than the faking of an acceptance of rituals.
Conscious of life,
And the limits of it lived.
Conscious are those,
Who are aware that this life...
Is much more than it is perceived,
It is!
Since it is not what we have been led to believe.
And a consciousness of those conscious of this,
Is what has been received.

The One Conscious
A conscious mind,
Showing up late and half dressed...
Will go much further.
Than the unconscious one,
Fully dressed...
In a tuxedo,
Not appearing to be there at all.
Even though physically present!
Both are scrutinized...
But the one conscious,
Is far more entertaining!
And eventually forgiven.

Surrendering
you were full and fully capable
you were self sufficient and needless
your house was fully decorated in that sense
you were taken with me to a point
a case of careful what you wish for
but what you knew was enough to begin
and so you called and courted fiercely
so you reached out

Even the most wretched individual of our present society could not exist and develop without the cumulative social efforts of countless generations. Thus the individual, his freedom and reason, are the products of society, and not vice versa: society is not the product of individuals comprising it; and the higher, the more fully the individual is developed, the greater his freedom — and the more he is the product of society, the more does he receive from society and the greater his debt to it.

A Debtor To Mercy Alone
When time's no more and the eternal future has begun
When I stand before the throne of God, The Almighty One
When this mortal body has put on immortality
Then shall I fully know how much my Lord has done for me.
When earth is no more and a new creation's taken place
When I enter heavens glory by His wonderful grace
When the glorious face of my Lord Jesus Christ I see
Then shall I fully know how much my Lord has done for me.
When I stand there clothed in a righteousness not my own
When I sing with all the angels gathered around His throne
When I join with unnumbered saints in wondrous harmony
Then shall I fully know how much my Lord has done for me.

The Lord Has A Will
I need you lord; in all I do.
Youre always there to see me through.
I cant get by unless I lean on you, lord.
The lord has a will,
And I have a need
To follow that will,
To humbly be still,
To rest in it,
Nest in it,
Fully be blessed in it,
Following my fathers will.
Your love, lord, is in my heart.
You wrote it there; it wont depart.
It lights my way and keeps me out of the dark.
The lord has a will,
And I have a need
To follow that will,
To humbly be still,
To rest in it,
Nest in it,
Fully be blessed in it,
Following my fathers will.
I thank you, lord, your word is sown
Into my life, and there its grown;
Its roots go deep where living waters are known.
The lord has a will,
And I have a need
To follow that will,
To humbly be still,
To rest in it,
Nest in it,
Fully be blessed in it,
Following my fathers will.
The lord has a will,
And I have a need
To follow that will,
To humbly be still,
To rest in it,
Nest in it,
Fully be blessed in it,
Following my fathers will.
To rest in it,
Nest in it,
Fully be blessed in it,
Following my fathers will.
