For a fortnight nobody at all emailed me, or posted a follow-up. Doesn't anyone care, I thought? It turned out my newsreader was broken, and hadn't posted at all.

The Poets Are Coming Out To Play Today
I came home this morning
after saying goodbye to a ghost.
I wrote a little poem about
and posted it. Then up popped Alison Cassidy
dreaming of summer.
In England, we are all doing that.
We have to walk in our wellies,
hoping not to get our feet wet.
Andy Wilkinson posted
another romantic ditty,
then he comes along,
and calls me sentimental
because I wanted to say goodbye to a ghost
where I used to work.
Yes, I think the poets
have come out to play today.

About the Wedding
I didh't know they were going to a wedding. She say she told me called me. Anyway it doesn't really matter. It was not important for me to know. written and Posted 7/28/08

A Poem On Recession
A family left homeless
Starving in the cold
Robbed of all they had
Through no fault of their own
They cling to the wealth care
Of a now broken state
A country on it knees
Pleading for some aid
Gone the heady days
When succession bells rang out
Another account closed
Another business bought
All paid for in loans
A promise that was not kept
So many turned a blind eye
And did not see what came
All that once being built
Was without any foundation
Once the first began to fall
It was like a pack of cards
Now the world it seems
Is all but at the very end
Another footnote posted
In a countries obituary
A family homeless, starving
Who have done no wrong
Look pale eyed into the world
And ask themselves, why?

Love Letter Not Posted
Love Letter Not Posted.
I got a sweet email, yes romantic as well,
something about holding hands
and things that tend to follow a passionate kiss.
She had read my poems and thought I was
a darling! I thought of sending her a love poem
but desisted as my poems tend to be cynical;
beside there is a question of grooming.
Dear heart, thank you for the email, I shall not
answer you, but quietly dream of what could
could have been if I had been seventeen, and
not a grumpy old man who wears a winter coat
for comfort even in June.

It took a really big toll my me. Takinge care of me. Trying to take care of him. It was really hard. I did not know how much longer I could this everything that was happening to me. written 5/27/08 Posted 5/27/08 Part 4

What old sadness can I let go of by sharing it today
How can we measure the grief we feel and and how we could put up with it. Doesn't the grief of death weight a ton or more. Doesn't it strenth out to a month a year or still longer. Is the grief of failture lighter then then the grief of empyness. Wheather we try to ingore or make light of it our grief like a ton of feathers or a ton of rocks is all the same to us. This much is sure if we lock our grief it will weight more on us. Andlengthen out if we open our hearts with weeping and words others will help carry it away. written and Posted 1/1/10

Sweet Misery
(Axton)
Heard you had some trouble, thought I'd try to help you. In my time I've had a little trouble too.
If you let it get you down, you know I'll bet you, it will get you down and walk around on you.
Sweet misery, she loves her company. She's in a crowd when she is all alone.
She doesn't care, follow you everywhere. She is most happy when she makes you moan.
My dog had some puppies, would you like to have one?
He will be your friend and he will lick your face.
He will never cheat you, he won't try to beat you, help you be a winner in the human race.
Sweet misery, she loves her company. She's in a crowd when she is all alone.
She doesn't care, follow you everywhere. She is most happy when she makes you moan.
Heard you're feeling better, glad you found some happy. In my time I've had a little happy too.
If you let it get you up, you know I'll bet you it will get you up and keep you smiling through.
Sweet misery, don't want your company. She's in a crowd when she is all alone.
She doesn't care, follow you everywhere. She is most happy when she makes you moan.
Sweet misery, she loves her company. She's in a crowd when she is all alone.
She doesn't care, follow you everywhere. She is most happy when she makes you moan.

vague yellow light ahead

no walking stick just freedom

Blue is the predominant
feature today
not blue like the sky
but deep blue
a rich blue
red wine blue
a blue glade

Glade dark today
dark dark dark
no light so no colour
sad sad sad
need to stare more intently
white smudge very faint
hard to know what is
my imagination
and what is real
well, all is real
in the dark poetic world
of metitation

My poetic meditation blog
A glade on a hillside
sweet flowers adorn it
lush bushes surround it
urged to go up it
slow progress through it
no effort on it
gorgeous flowers distract
28.07.07 12.00pm
Path darker today
I make slower progress
Towards the
yellow smudge in the sky
that lies ahead

Why No Reviews?
With tired eyes I scan
Down lists of poems new,
Posted as New Releases,
Written for Me, by You.
Many poems are posted daily,
Hoping to be reviewed by all,
The pages get longer and longer,
Will I find any of mine at all?
It is now the 17th of January,
Hurrah! ! ~ I’ve found two of mine,
Written 2nd and 3rd January,
Will they be seen by my Reviewers as fine?
Why do I torture myself often?
Why must I expect New Reviews?
I’d write my poems as usual,
Whether or not, they’d be read by you.
I force my Mind to write verses,
HIS Thoughts are not directed to me,
Lethargically the words form as poetry,
But with HIS help, they form abundantly.

Appetite
A man's labour is for his own mouth but his appetite is not satisfied!
So let them eat their own waste and drink their own urine;
Because you need riders on the horses to follow my path of love!
The Aramaic Language and the Hebrew Language were used from the beginning,
And like Rab and Shakeh as friends of mine;
But i have to wait till i get your love letters so posted to me.

Why do we yell at each other
She told me about the place was sold. I thought the money was from the car. But it wasn't. When I told he that she lost it. Yelling at me we had to fix the car. I really didn't know what she was talking about. I am glad it was sold not like the other places they just closed them down. written and Posted 7/28/08

A Sister Makes Life easier
A sister is the one who makes easier to live. We share our likes and dislikes. She makes us feel better when we are sad.She comes to know our problems though our eyes. My sister you are the most loved to me. As you care and always there for me. written 6/27/08 Posted 6/27/08 Deciated to my sister Helena Klayton Hopenwasser
