Since the big band started I'm just always swamped with movies and things. It certainly pays the bills and it's very satisfying, because I get to write all these big charts and all this crazy music.

I actually write film music because I'm classically trained on the piano so as well as songwriting I also write actual film music that could be used for movies like war movies and love movies.

Sad Movies
Sad movies always make me cry
Sad movies always make me cry
He said he had to work, so I went to the show alone.
They turned down the lights and turned the projector on.
And just as the news of the world started to begin,
I saw my darling and my best friend walking in.
Although I was sitting right there they didnn see me.
And so they both sat right down in the front of me.
And when he kissed her lips then I almost died.
And in the middle of the colour cartoon I started to cry.
Oh sad movies always make me cry
Sad movies always make me cry
Sad movies always make me cry
Sad movies always make me cry
And so I got on up and slowly I walked on home,
And mama saw the tears and said baby what is wrong.
And so just to keep from telling her a lie,
I just said sad movies makes me cry.
Oh sad movies always make me cry
Sad movies always make me cry
Sad movies always make me cry
Sad movies always make me cry

Lost In The Music
the music you write
makes my mind soar
the music you write
makes me want to dance
the music you write
is like a lullaby
the music you write
makes my heart jump
the music you write
makes me want to hear it again
the music you write
is like a shooting star
the music you write
makes me fall in love with you
the music you write
is like a shower in a drought
the music you write
is like a dream that i don't want to wake up from
i get lost in the music you write

Crazy Dave
He fronts the band so tall he stands his name is crazy Dave
He fronts the band this tall thin man his name is crazy Dave
Like a snake he moves to rock he groove yes that’s crazy Dave
He’s a rock man who fronts the band
He’s the rock man with the band
Play. Play. Play crazy Dave
Its rock and roll played from his sole
he’s scared to make a mistake
As he twists and turns the music burns
and the crowd start to rave.
Its all the same in his brain
As he plays guitar for fun
The riffs he strums as his guitar hums
Play. Play. Play. crazy Dave
The sounds are high his stings cry
As he hit those high notes
A C D C aerosmith petty and status quo
Crazy Dave had to be brave as he played his rock and role
Play. Play. Play crazy Dave

It's Not Perfect.
Sometimes the artist makes a fools mistake.
A contract that demands plenty for so little.
Me personally I do this for free currently because I have a job that pays the bills.
It is a hobby to me, always has been.
I work with my back, shoulders, arms, as well as my hands.
Time limited sticks me behind so many others.
Yet I don't care, for I do not desire fame and fortunes.
But instead actually enjoy what I do.
I feel as if I making glue that holds a painting together.
The creation of something all in ones mind.
A satisfying feeling envelopes me as I write them one at a time.
A victory upon this paper, this is something I indeed savor.
I do reread and reread trying to perfect each and everyone of them.
But for the sake of being correct.
Even though I know each one has its own flaws.
That is what make it really unique.
Even when the favored critique tells I'm wrong.
Sometimes thats the way I still want it.

In the back of your mind, when you say you want to write music for the movies, you're saying that you want a big house, a big car and a boat. If you just wanted to write music, you could live in Kansas and do it.

That Music In The Band (Lyric) :
They play that music in the band.
Them boys in the band.
That sweet playing, honky tonk music.
We hear in the band.
We hear that music in the band.
We hear that music in the band.
That sweet talking, honky tonk music.
We hear in the band.
It keeps us moving around.
They keep us moving to the sound.
Them boys in the band.
They play that music in the band.
That sweet playing, honky tonk music.
We hear in the band.
We hear that music in the band.
We hear that music in the band.
That sweet talking, honky talk music.
We hear in the band.
It keeps us jumping around.
They keep our feet off the ground.
Them boys in the band.
They play that music in the band.
That sweet playing, honky tonk music.
We hear in the band.
We hear that music in the band.
We hear that music in the band.
That sweet talking, honky tonk music.
We hear in the band....

She Dont Need A Band To Dance
(randy archer/freddy weller)
Shes not much for thrills
And says things with fancy frills
Dont turn her on
She seems so content working hard
To make our house a home
Shes steady as a rock
Standing by me
Even when I dont succeed
Lord I wish I could afford
The things she swears
She dont really need
She dont need a band to dance
It dont take wings for her fly
Our loves gonna grow
If there aint much do si do
Its still gonna be alright
We make such pretty music
That you can tell at just a glance
When I take the notion
She seconds that emotion
She dont need a band to dance
She didnt say a thing
When we had to pawn the ring
To pay the rent
What I make in overtime
Stacked against the bills
Dont make a dent
Just when I think I let her down
And failed to be the man I oughta be
She still sees the bright side
Of everything including me
She dont need a band to dance
It dont take wings for her fly
Our loves gonna grow
If there aint much do si do
Its still gonna be alright
We make such pretty music
That you can tell at just a glance
When I take the notion
She seconds that emotion
She dont need a band to dance
She dont need a band to dance

Rock & Roll Band
Well, we were just another band out of boston
On the road to try to make ends meet
Playin all the bars, sleepin in our cars
And we practiced right on out in the street
No, we didnt have much money
We barely made enough to survive
But when we got up on stage and got ready to play
People came alive.
Rock and roll band
Everybodys waitin
Gettin crazy
Anticipating love and music
Play, play, play, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Dancin in the streets of hyannis
We were getting pretty good at the game
People stood in line and didnt seem to mind
You know everybody knew our name
Livin on rock-n-roll music
Never worry bout the things we were missing
When we got up on the stage and got ready to play
Everybodyd listen.
Rock and roll band
Everybodys waitin
Gettin crazy
Anticipating love and music
Play, play, play, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Playin for a week in rhode island
A man came to the stage one night
He smoked a big cigar
Drove a cadillac car
And said, boys, I think this bands outta-sight
Sign a record company contract
You know Ive got great expectations
When I hear you on the car radio
Youre goin to be a sensation!
Rock and roll band
Everybodys waitin
Gettin crazy
Anticipating love and music
Play, play, play, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

Music
And the weddings bursted out,
And the send-offs - howled.
The holidays and woes - got entangled...
And the music staves stand as a barbed wire.
I would like to write a music in the other way,
I would like to write a music,
Falling onto the clover down.
I think, I would be fond of this singing work.
I would like to write a music
On the earth furrows,
On the palm of the one-year baby.
I would sleep and then rise up.
And wouldn't eat to satiety.
I would like to dissolve in some sudden motives
I would like to write a music
On the rain spurls,
Or - better - on the flying gossamers.
I would like to write a music
In the tender lakes.
I would like to drink it,
As an intoxicating liquor.
I would like to write a music
On the wings of a swallow.
I would like to write a music
On a zebra's skin.
I would like to create the music,
To cry, to get torture!
I would like to search it,
Elevatedly and greedily...
But such music is created already.
And if you don't hear - that's a pity...

Groovy Movies
Sometimes I think Im gonna better myself,
Searching for acceptance in this big, wide world.
Sometimes I think I wont make it,
Playing in a rock n roll band.
Sometimes I wanna be a picture director,
And try to make the world understand.
By making groovy movies,
By making groovy movies,
By making groovy movies.
All the movie makers of the world would be,
Falling over backwards to have dinner with me.
Ill go down to [? ]
Anytime I feel like a game[? ].
Or take a long vacation to san tropez,
And think of all the money I made.
By making groovy movies,
By making groovy movies,
By making groovy movies.
I dont want to be a producer,
I dont want to be a big star.
I just want to be a picture director,
And smoke a big havana cigar.
By making groovy movies,
By making groovy movies,
By making groovy movies,
By making groovy movies,
By making groovy movies,
By making groovy movies.

Well it kind of is project to project because as a writer I think you always write to some degree about things that you know or things that happened - but my favourite filmmakers, my favourite movies of theirs tend to be the personal movies.

She Drives Me Crazy (feat. Zucchero)
I can't help the way I feel
Things you do don't seem so real
Tell me what you got in mind
'Cause we're runnin' out of time
Won't you ever set me free
This waitin' 'round is killin' me
She drives me crazy
Like no one else
She drives me crazy
And I can't help myself
I can't get any rest
People say I'm obsessed
Everything you say is lies
But to me there's no surprise
What I have, I knew was true
Things go wrong, they always do
She drives me crazy
Like no one else
She drives me crazy
And I can't help myself, no
She drives me crazy
Like no one else
I won't make it on my own
No one likes to be alone
She drives me crazy
Like no one else
She drives me crazy
And I can't help myself
I can't help myself
She drives me crazy
Drives me crazy
Like no one else
You know she drives me crazy
And I can't help myself
Oh myself
She drives me crazy, oh yes
Like no one else, no one else
She drives me crazy
And I can't help myself

Key Of 2
Well I was sentenced to prison
To do about one year
They said it isnt so bad
We got a good band here
We play every wednesday night
Sometimes tuesday too
Its the music of the future and it will get to you
When I heard the band for the first time
They has no (rhythm). they had no (rhyme)
Well it almost like a dream
I never wanted to have
It drove me (crazy). it drove me (mad)
The man said: cmon and play
And heres an instrument for you
Its an ancient flute
Its in the key of 2. blow...
I gotta get more time. I gotta stay in here
I used to be foggy
But the music made me clear
Now the jail in rockin like elvis never knew
Im on the inside now. Im in the key of 2
Now we all are lifers and Im in the band too
We play my favorite song. its in the key of 2
And it will get to you
Its the music of the future and it will get to you
And it will get to you
Its the music of the future. its in the key of 2

Join Together
When you here this sound a-comin,
Hear the drummers drumming,
I want you to join together with the band,
We dont move in any ticular direction,
And we dont make no collections,
I want you to join together with the band.
Do you really think I care,
What you read or what you wear,
I want you to join together with the band,
Theres a million ways to laugh,
And every ones a path,
Come on and join together with the band.
Everybody join together, I want you to join together,
Come on and join together with the band,
We need you to join together, come on and join together,
Come on and join together with the band.
You dont have to play,
You can follow or lead the way,
I want you to join together with the band,
We dont know where were going,
But the seasons right for knowing,
I want you to join together with the band.
Its the singer not the song,
That makes the music move along,
I want you to join together with the band,
This is the biggest band youll find,
Its as deep as it is wide,
Come on and join together with the band,
Hey hey hey hey hey hey, well everybody come on.
Come on and join, join together with the band,
We need you to join together, everybody come on,
Hey hey hey, join together with the band.

(deke richards)
Go with what Ive sent you...someone to love
Heaven must have sent you to me
And Im not gonna let you go back
Im gonna love you till the stars dont shine
And angels start dressing in black
I wanna shout hallelujah
Oh, heart Ive finally fooled ya
Somebody strike up the band
Ive got a good, good feeling
Doobedoodndoo doobedoodndoobe doobedoodndoo
Oh, doobedoodndoobe doobedoodndoobe doobedoodndoo
Oh, doobedoodndoobe doobedoodndoobe doobedoodndoo
I love you, yes I do
Doobedoodndoo
I just started living
The day you started giving your love to me
And now music feels my soul
It sounds just like a rock n roll symphony
Listen to the music in my soul
Ahhhh...
I see words inside your eyes
They beg me not to leave
Could it be we might have passed
On the same road to loneliness
Let us put bad memories
Of our past up on the shelf
(and leave it there forever)
And give ourselves a second chance
To enjoy loves priceless wealth
Dont it make you wanna shout hallelujah
When youre feeling love go through ya
Somebody strike up the band
Here it comes again
Doobedoodndoo doobedoodndoobe doobedoodndoo
Oh, doobedoodndoobe doobedoodndoobe doobedoodndoo
Oh, doobedoodndoo doobedoodndoobe doobedoodndoo
I love you, yes I do
Doobedoodndoo
I just started living
The day you started giving your love to me
And now music feels my soul
It sounds just like a rock n roll symphony
Listen to the music in my soul
Doobedoodndoo doobedoodndoobe doobedoodndoo
Oh, doobedoodndoobe doobedoodndoobe doobedoodndoo
Oh, doobedoodndoo doobedoodndoobe doobedoobedoo

Its CraZzy
Its crazy how we met, its crazy how we ended up like this, Its crazy how I forgive you, Its crazy on how much I love you, Its crazy how I miss you after I take you home, Its crazy how I just wait for you to call my phone, Waiting for that special call that doesnt come, Its crazy how I dont realize that youve moved on, Its crazy how I still think your mine, Its crazy how Im still dieing inside, It tears my heart apart when Im not with you, Its crazy how I barely found out what we had wasnt true, Its crazy how I get tears in my eyes for just thinkin about you, I have a bunch of things I want to tell you, but all I can say for now I that I love you and Ill never forget the things you use to do.
