The funniest thing happened in one of my first scenes. In the beginning Emma was really arrogant and punk and in every scene she would slam the door when she walked in or out.

A trick that everyone abhors
In little girls is slamming doors.
A wealthy banker's little daughter
Who lived in Palace Green, Bayswater
(By name Rebecca Offendort),
Was given to this furious sport.
She would deliberately go
And slam the door like billy-o!
To make her uncle Jacob start.
She was not really bad at heart,
But only rather rude and wild;

I Got With Her Once When She Was Drunk
I used to be part of the grunge scene here
now I'm just grungy. You could kinda
tell which ones of us were hanging on for dear life
and which ones were just hanging on to the scene
and buying expensive flannels. They moved on to the next
big music thing. Pop punk I think.

Trivialities- Not To Me
I've collected many a trivial thing
and kept them in a box.
Occasionally I will look at them
and my memory it unlocks.
They have no value to anyone else
but to me they've found a place
to bring back a scene I remember
to put a smile upon my face.
If someone finds this box someday
and wonders 'what is this? '
Before they discard all these things
there's something they would miss.
They'd miss what these little things did
for the one that left them behind.
For never could they picture the scenes
nor could they ever find
how these trivialities in the box
were only special to see

Punk rock really came out of N.Y. as a philosophy before the groups were ever recorded. I had a kind-of intellectual interest in the idea of creating a new scene that could be a grassroots thing.
D.I.Y.
We are the punks of today, we are the punks of tomorrow
We will fight for what is right, we will fight to live our lives
We fight regardless of what you say
Look around at what we've created, take a good look at the scene
Build something from nothing, we gave it meaning
DIY or die, look out for everyone, concentrate on having fun
We can't fight each other, gotta try to stick together

The whole thing is still very young, its only been 20 years
