I believe that in the end the abolition of war, the maintenance of world peace, the adjustment of international questions by pacific means will come through the force of public opinion, which controls nations and peoples.

Ways Of Peace
WAYS OF PEACE
Much talk of international peace,
But minds are full of war designs,
So wars are there everywhere,
And nations fight tooth and nail,
Stiff air-land battles with gurgling sounds,
Despite hue and cry by men of peace,
Supply of warships screaming headlines,
No talk of peace at this moment,
Till full destruction on both sides

Making The World A Safer Place
If humanity truly aspires, to globally evolve interact,
aspires to make the world a better safer place, for all people;
then would we, should we, not cooperate to fight crime?
Should we create an International Criminal Court
a permanent tribunal to prosecute individuals;
for genocide, crimes against humanity, war crimes,
and the crime of aggression against other nations?
Would this help stop wars, aid the cause of world peace?
Should we cooperate internationally, to stop crimes of aggression?
Would this be an effective aid, in wars against terrorism?
Rejoice global peace loving nations, have indeed created,
supported in law, such an International Criminal Court.
The International Criminal Court, the ICC, currently it
cannot, will not; be able to exercise
jurisdiction over the crime of aggression;
in any way before the year 2017 but
slowly steadily we are making progress,
in the right direction, yet still the question
lingers, is progress fast enough to save us?

We support every effort to combat international terrorism through the formulation of international conventions and hope that the international community will take further steps to improve the anti-terrorism international legal framework.

Men since the beginning of time have sought peace. Various methods through the ages have been attempted to devise an international process to prevent or settle disputes between nations. From the very start workable methods were found in so far as individual citizens were concerned, but the mechanics of an instrumentality of larger international scope have never been successful. Military alliances, balances of power, Leagues of Nations, all in turn failed, leaving the only path to be by way of the crucible of war. The utter destructiveness of war now blocks out this alternative. We have had our last chance. If we will not devise some greater and more equitable system, Armageddon will be at our door.

The conflict in the Middle East needs to be solved for the same reasons. It is necessary to reach a two-states solution, built on international law, for sustainable peace and development, and it can only be achieved through joint efforts by the international community.

Sonnet: Whither Global Peace?
The world wants Peace and labours towards it;
Thro' dialogues and joint-efforts and talks;
Security of life's always at threat;
Despite the cost and progress in all walks.
But Peace at what cost, so phenomenal?
And global peace is transient thro' war,
Effects on earth are international,
As Death can be caused from a near-by star.
Some people get too Nobel Prize for Peace;
Fragile and maintained by the Gun's barrel;
with Terrorism now a new disease,
Eluding cure as Nations fall unwell.
How can the world go on without Peace?
And how exorbitant shall be its fees?

Its A Jungle Out There
(scream) I just gotta get away
Cant stand it
Children suffer every day
Tell me baby
Whats it for
Fighting daily
For the turf
Were still killing each other
In the name of the lord
Theres a brand new graffiti
With blood on the walls
Peace... are you that far away?
Now you can feel it
Other peoples pain
Love can heal it
Gentle as the rain
Oh, the united nations drag their feet on the floor
All they do is spend your money
They dont tell you what for
Peace... what price we have to pay
Peace... theres gotta be a better way
People tell me its useless to look for a way
I believe that tomorrow starts right here, today
Peace... are you that far away
Peace... theres gotta be a better way
Peace... are you that far away
Peace... theres gotta be a better way
Peace, peace
Theres gotta be a better way
Peace, peace oh oh oh peace

Science is the search for truth - it is not a game in which one tries to beat his opponent, to do harm to others. We need to have the spirit of science in international affairs, to make the conduct of international affairs the effort to find t he right solution, the just solution of international problems, not the effort by each nation to get the better of other nations, to do harm to them when it is possible.

The Charter of the United Nations expresses the noblest aspirations of man: abjugation of force in the settlement of disputes between states; the assurance of human rights and fundamental freedoms for all without distinction as to race, sex, language or religion; the safeguarding of international peace and security. But these, too, as were the phrases of the Covenant, are only words; their value depends wholly on our will to observe and honour them and give them content and meaning. The preservation of peace and the guaranteeing of man's basic freedoms and rights require courage and eternal vigilance: courage to speak and act — and if necessary, to suffer and die — for truth and justice; eternal vigilance, that the least transgression of international morality shall not go undetected and unremedied. These lessons must be learned anew by each succeeding generation, and that generation is fortunate indeed which learns from other than its own bitter experience.

The 1st of May
The 1st of May,
It’s a Solidarity Day.
I will not shout “Hurray”
But would like to say
For all peoples and nations
Join together! Live in peace!
In America and Greece,
In Iraq and Iran,
In India and Pakistan,
In China and Hong Kong
And so on and so on.
The history of this day is very significant one:
The workers of Chicago
Went on demonstration
For their rights.
They didn’t want any fights.
Today in my country
The 1st of May is a holiday.
We do not shout “Hurray”
As there is nothing to demonstrate.
But we love and celebrate this day
As it personify humanity and peace,
Beauty of our nature
And life as a wonderful adventure.
