If you are young and you drink a great deal it will spoil your health, slow your mind, make you fat - in other words, turn you into an adult.

Bad For Your Health
I looked at some photos
of many years ago.
Boy, did I look young.
They were taken before
the grey hairs and wrinkles set in.
However, it doesn’t seem
all that long ago.
At the time of the photos,
the world wasn’t full of stress.
There wasn’t so many idiots saying
don’t do this as its bad for your health.
The only thing I can see
that is really bad for your health,
is those idiots that keep saying,
don’t do this, don’t do that.
Maybe if they kept their gob shut,
we all might have a stress fee day.
Can anyone remember the old saying
too many crooks spoil the broth?
If you can’t,
I suspect the reason for it
is someone said it is bad for your health.
Now lets make a list
according to the idiots,
down through the year have told us
which is bad for our health.
The problem here is
it would take too long to name them all.
Now let’s make a list
of what is good for you.
It doesn’t matter what you put down.
Some idiot is going to come along next year
and tell you that it is bad for your health.
Now what I really want to know
from these educated idiots.
Have they ever heard the words
malnutrition and starvation?
Because if they haven’t
I suggest they learn them double quick
before we have a world full of skin and bones.

Drink!
Ill take back my pinata its wasted on you
Just spinning that pool cue all over the room
And give back the blindfold thats under your shoe
Lets drink, drink this town is so great
Drink, drink cuz its never too late
To drink, drink to no big surprise
But what words rhyme with buried alive
What words rhyme with buried alive
You could be a float for the 4th of july
Based on your theme of wallflowers grown wild
Look thru your peephole, youve won every prize
Lets drink, drink this town is so great
Drink, drink cuz its never too late
To drink, drink to no big surprise
But what words rhyme with buried alive
What words rhyme with buried alive
In your monkey suit on a cigarette break
The lunchtime crowd, they wont even blink
But youd be sad if they did
But youll be sad...
Lets drink, drink this town is so great
Drink, drink cuz its never too late
To drink, drink to no big surprise
But what words rhyme with buried alive
What words rhyme with buried alive

Slow Down
You got it the wrong way round completely
The fact that I love you so
Doesn't make me a fool
One day you just might grow tired of chasing
The end of a rainbow
Your already there you know
So Slow down
Tell me why you're running
Turn round
Let it out keep and keep it coming
Nothing I can do if I can't get to you
Slow day
Remember the day you came to see me
Even that lonely long drive
Couldn't keep us apart
And you opened up to me completely
And you gave me peace of mind
The rest we can leave behind
So Slow down
Tell me why you're running
Turn round let it out and keep it coming
Nothing I can do if I can't get to you
Slow sown
You don't have to hurt yourself
And feel so small
It's so confusing
And you're already there
Slow down
Tell me why you're running
Turn round let it all out keep it coming
Nothing I can do if I can't get to you
Slow down
So slow down
Tell me why you're running
Turn round let it all out and keep it coming
Nothing I can do if I can't get to you
Slow down

Not Here, Not Now
These words of love
So hard for me to find
How can I change my mind
If you can only lie?
These shattered dreams
I try to build again
But looks could kill again
And Im too young to die
Smiling faces all around us
You dont want to make a scene
Not here, not now
And I dont want to cry
We drink the wine
Like we were really friends
But can our sadness end
And words turn into play?
We dress so fine
And step out on the town
And friends may gather round
But soon will turn away
Smiling faces all around us
You dont want to make a scene
Not here, not now
And I dont want to cry
Smiling faces all around us
You dont want to make a scene
Not here, not now
And I dont want to cry

Nobody Going Tell Me
Nobody going tell me
What to do or say
I'm strong and indepence person
I can turn whatever I want up as loud I want to
Nobody going tell me
Who I'm because that's up to me to decide
This is me
You have to learn to accept it
I'm just a teenager
I just want to have a great time and not stress out
If I want to go to party or football games I'm going to go
This is great things I'm going to miss out on
If I don't go
You need to trust me
I be safe and I'm enough to know what is
Difference between right and wrong
Nobody going tell me
It's my decision and future
To do what I want in life
If I need help I will come to you
I will listen to you and do what you want me not to do
Only if there good reason and important
I will make the best choice
If I don't I will learn from my mistakes and
Just don't be over protective of me
Nobody going tell me
What I can't or can eat
I'm adult now
It's my health and body
So don't worry too much
I'm responibility peson
I'm not person who make you mad or not believe in me anymore
You taught everything I need to know
Now I have to leave and start my life
Thank you for all you do for me
Nobody going tell me

Hating You For Christmas
Thanks for the christmas card
I dont want to hear about your new job now
I dont want to hear about your new boyfriend
I dont want to hear about it all working out for you
No, I dont want to hear it now
I dont want to hear about your swinging new place
I dont want to hear how everyone thinks its great
I just want to sit in our apartment and hate you
Yes, I will be hating you for christmas
You can have the christmas tree
Remember when we bought it at the store down the street?
Remember when I found that cheesy color wheel?
I dont want to think about the lights on your white skin
No, I dont want to think about it
I dont want to think about last year at your dads
You said it was the best sex that we both ever had
I dont want to think about my face in your soft hair
I will be hating you for christmas...
I must be losing my mind
Theres gotta be a better way to deal with the pain
Theres gotta be a better way to deal with the hate
Wish that I could find some way to make you go away
Wish that I could have a drink and make you fade
I wish that I could have myself a drink and make you fade
I wish that I could have a drink and make you go away
Yeah make you go away
Wish that I could make you go away
I will be hating you for christmas
Yeah I will be hating you for christmas...
Thanks for the christmas card

Can You Deal With It?
(words and music: duran duran)
There must be somebody
Wholl make love to me.
Blow the rules away
And trash these yesterdays.
Live in simpathy
Use psychology.
To find the twist in me (ah-ha)
Can you deal with it?
Recent enquiry
Showed now boundry.
Loves the only way
Can you handle it?
Can you deal with it? (oowa)
Can you deal with it?
Can you deal with it? (oowa)
Can you deal with it?
Can you deal with it?
When you aint sorry? (can you deal with it? )
For all that you appologise (can you deal with it? )
Working up to something,
I know youre up to something...
Yeahhhh...
Can you deal with it? (somethings got to happen)
Can you deal with it? (somethings got to get me up)
Say you deal with it? (but nothing never happens)
Can you deal with it? (cos nothings ever good enough)
Say you deal with it?
Can you deal with it? (somethings got to happen)
Can you deal with it? (somethings got to get me up)
Say you deal with it? (but nothings gonna happen)
Can you deal with it? (cos nothings ever good enough)
Say you deal with it?

A Boy Forever
In every man there lives a boy
That adult thoughts cannot destroy,
It doesn't matter what you do
That boy will live in spite of you!
You think your adult mind is clever
But the boy in you will never ever
Submit to all your serious ways,
He thinks you're going through a phase.
He knows one day you will admit
Your wisdom was a little bit
Mistaken, and though he's just a boy
There's so much more you can enjoy.
This boy is innocent and young
And there is laughter on his tongue,
You've been too serious by far
So hurry to the nearest bar.
You really need to have a drink,
Act as you FEEL, not how you THINK!
Take off your clothes! Let down your hair!
And say goodbye to grim despair!
It's time you showed some gratitude
And lost your 'grown-up' attitude,
You'll only ever find the 'Truth'
In the sacred 'Folly' of your youth! !

Lost Horizons
The last horizons I can see are filled with bars and factories
And in them all we fight to stay awake...
Drink enough of anything to make this world look new again
Drunk drunk drunk in the gardens and the graves
She had nothing left to say so she said she loved me
I stood there grateful for the lie...
Drink enough of anything to make this girl look new again
Drunk drunk drunk in the gardens and the graves
Turn summer trees to bones and ice
Turn insect songs against the night
With words we build and words we break
Im drunk drunk drunk in the gardens and the graves...
Drink enough of anything to make myself look new again
Drunk drunk drunk in the gardens and the graves

In Local Dialects
We go by popular saying in local dialects
They have been defined after proving acts
It has its own meaning and understanding
It is also method for improving and befriending
Some one may angrily “Go to hell”
In literary terms he is wishing you well
As you don’t adhere to his advices
So he airs his anger and grievances
You can’t break the spirit even if subjected to torture
That is embedded with thoughts for glorious future
It can be fight for freedom, social cause or struggle
That can’t be realized until overcome with all troubles
In social life also no weapon can weaken your spirit
If you are hell bent upon achieving the great feat
It is your strong resolve that may place you on the top
There is no force on earth to make you stop
Then what can discourage you from pursuing the goal
Is it no co-operation from circle or receiving bad calls?
Is it jealousy and words that may pierce through?
Like an edge of weapon to prove its worth very true
It is truly said words can do great harm
It can spoil your relation which were cordial and warm
It is enough to spoil whole milk tin by dropp of lemon
Or slight mistake that can turn table even if race is won
We will die not of inflicted wounds
But good health may not sound
It will have deteriorating effect
As opponent has used it with lethal act
It is enough to weaken the individual’s morale
He must be subjected to insulting tales
That may take him out of his stated position
He will then be a weak object for disposition

Old Age, Go Away
When are we consider old?
when the years past so quickly
being a kid with no worries
to a teen with rebel ways, to parents dismay
young adult leads to a partying way
maturing thru the years to become a respected adult
responsibilities and family life changes people
before time fly, aging needs a break
for real it does, it's not fair to fly
middle aged, worn out, heading to retirement
can't wait for that day, everyone says
to tell the true I rather work, that's my pitch
getting old for the rockers and the canes
just has to stay away, I have so many things to do
see more the world, meet many people
play with the kids and the grand kids
stop that hour glass from draining
I have a lot of things on my mind
time will take my mind
the wrinkles and the gray hair can wait
same with the balding
Aging for the years can wait, oh it can wait
young and childish mind, I have
will make me feel young, well into my years
till it catches my worn broken body
Old age stay away, For I am Young

We have had such a letter movement on two occasions in Denmark when more than a quarter of the adult Danish population participated. Such an achievement, however, demands a really great effort and also a great deal of money.

Deal
Since it costs a lot to win, and even more to lose,
You and me bound to spend some time wondrin what to choose.
Goes to show, you dont ever know,
Watch each card you play and play it slow,
Wait until that deal come round,
Dont you let that deal go down, no, no.
I been gamblin hereabouts for ten good solid years,
If I told you all that went down it would burn off both of your ears.
Goes to show you dont ever know
Watch each card you play and play it slow,
Wait until that deal come round,
Dont you let that deal go down, no, no.
Since you poured the wine for me and tightened up my shoes,
I hate to leave you sittin there, composin lonesome blues.
Goes to show you dont ever know
Watch each card you play and play it slow,
Wait until that deal come round, dont you let that deal go down.
Wait until that deal come round, dont you let that deal go down,
Wait until that deal come round, dont you let that deal go down,
Dont you let that deal go down, dont you let that deal go down.

The Rarity of Genius
While yet my lip was breathing youth's first breath,
I all too young to know their deepest spell,
I saw Medea and Phædra in Rachel;
Later I saw the great Elizabeth.
Rachel, Ristori -- we shall speak with death
Ere we meet souls like these. In one age dwell
Not many such: a century shall tell
Its hundred beads before it braid a wreath
For two so queenly foreheads. If it take
Æons to form a diamond, grain on grain,
Æons to crystallize its fire and dew,
By what slow processes must Nature make
Her Shakespeares and her Raffaels? Great the gain
If she spoil millions making one or two.

Baby vs Adult
Baby is dumb
Adult has wisdom
Babies are small and crawl
Adults are tall and fall
Baby demands
Adult commands
Baby yearns to walk
Adult learns to work
Baby weeps
Adult sleeps
You carry a baby
You marry an adult
Baby chokes
Adult smokes
Baby stays at home to play
Adult brings home the pay
Baby cries
Adult sighs
Baby spikes milk
Adults like silk
And I saved this for the last
Baby at birth
Adult at death
Baby vs Adult becomes a thing of the past

Slow Ride
She takes her time when its time to get ready.
Always has her way.
Always leaves me waiting by the phone.
She told me more than once to take it slow,
And I said ok.
But lately Ive been sleeping all alone.
Im not breaking up inside,
Im much to proud to moan.
Baby please come home.
I feel a little lucky so I try to play it cool.
I think she laughs inside.
With the words that burn like fire in my mouth.
Try to be a man like I got the master plan, night out on the town.
Drink and dance and we can turn it out.
Whoa, maybe its how your body moves I just dont know,
Maybe its just the way you move so slow.
(phone dialing)
[hello? ]
[hi its me]
[i thought I told you not to call me here]
[i know I just really needed to talk to you]
[get a clue babe, theres nothing to talk about.]
(click!)
Ask me why I play myself play myself for a fool.
Swear I would do most anything.
Walk a mile to see her smile.
Walk a mile just to rock for a while.
Babe Im thinking with my ding-a-ling.
Whoa, Ive been doing some thinking,
Now I just dont know.
Maybe just the way you move so slow.
Maybe cuz you move so slow.
Maybe cuz you move so slow.
But sitting on the verge of tears does not become my 22 years.
You took my shame, and you took my pride,
And now you gonna take me for a slow ride.
But uh, uh. waiting, waiting on the phone.
Got the words that burn like fire in my mouth.
Come on down reggae style,
Wind up your body like a bass line wild,
Drink and dance and we can turn it out.
Whooooaaaa, Im not going crazy but I just dont know,
Maybe cuz you move so slow. (x3)
Like love,
Move nice and low.
Slowride! (x3)

Slow Down
ooh baby
There's somethin I gotta tell ya
Pain that you should know
What's on my mind
ooh baby
I'm feeling our situation
It's getting stronger
and we on it
I gotta take my time
(Bridge)
See there's so much about you
that I want to explore
Phisical attraction,
we just can't ignore it
But before we go too far
across the line
gotta really make sure
that I'm sure
Umm
(chorus)
Slow down babe
let's take our time
Slow down babe
If you don't mind (baby slow down)
Slow down babe
before we make this move
Slow down babe (before we make this move)
Baby slow down
(I think it's really too soon)
(verse 2)
Ooh baby
It's like I known you forever
My medulla oblongata
Is electrified
Oo oo ooh baby
Whenever we're alone together
I'm bout to explode
and it feels so right
I gotta take my time
(Bridge)
See there's so much about you
that I want to explore
Phisical attraction, we just
can't ignore it
But before we go too far
across the line
gotta really make sure
that I'm sure
Oh
(chorus)
Slow down babe
let's take our time (slow down baby)
Slow down babe (slow down baby)
If you don't mind (baby slow down)
Slow down babe
before we make this move
Slow down babe (before we make this move)
Baby slow down
(baby it's really too soon
soon yeah)
(Hook)
See I know what is best
Cause I been here before
Gave myself to someone
for all the wrong reasons
but this time around
I don't wanna do that again
I just wanna make this the way
that i've dreamed of
so baby you got to
(chorus)
(Whispering)
Slow down
you got to slow down
you got to slow down
baby slow down
you got to slow down
you got to slow down
you've got to slow down
