Considering that the blessed life we so long for consists in an intimate and true love of God Our Creator and Lord, which binds and obliges us all to a sincere love.

O Lord Above
O lord above you fill my all with love,
and lift my heart so high.
O Lord above you fill my life with love
I’m so happy I could cry.
O lord above you blessed me with your love
I try to share it everyday.
O lord above I’ll never betray your love
and I’ll give thanks, as I pray.
O lord above thank you for showing me love
you inspire all that I do.

God Himself Cries
Joseph Manduke Poems
Poetry and thoughts written after 1956

God himself Cries
When love is true and lost the universe itself weeps
God himself cries when love is lost
Love is not contained
Galaxies weep when true love is lost
Nay, clusters of galaxies stop turning in infinity when love dies
God cries
The creator's heart itself, the infinite word
the power of creation that is love, waits
Takes pause in the tear
takes a moment from the foundation itself of all life and all hope
God sheds a tear
Such breaks the heart of the creator
When love is not preserved
Creation itself blinks out of reality,
And a moment is lost as God weeps for the loss of Love so precious
God himself cries
When Love is lost
Love is the creative force itself.
All is about love
God cries when love is unpure.
Creation stops and waits and takes a moment to mourn the lost lovers dream.
Preserve your Love.
Save the tears of God.
Sing a praise to having known true Love.
In the act of will that breaks a heart.
God cries.
Eternity wains under the creator's sadness
And we lose touch of precious binds to creation itself.
We lose our life and our fragile hold on humanity.
When love is lost,
Hope is lost,
Peace is lost,
And God cries

We Are Love
True love does not love us for what we do.
We are not our mistakes.
We are not our jobs.
True love loves us for who we are.
We are children,
We are mothers,
We are fathers,
We are grandparents,
We are friends,
We are family.
What we do does not define us.
What we become as a result does.
We learn of love from life.
A life that is always changing.
Never consistent,
But always persistent.
It was not life that created love.
It was love that created life.
To find love, we must seek the source.
The creator.
It is He that is love that created love.
From love and out of love.
Always in love,
With the love of His love.
That love is you.
That love is me.
Now that you know.
You can become.
What you were always destined to be.
For we are who we are,
We are simply love,
And love alone.
If we are love,
Then that is what we do.

Those We Pass By
So many today sporting a smile, this, as they live in denial,
Of the Lord God, their Creator, living apart from the Savior;
While some sporting a frown, are not joyful at all but down,
In full denial of the Lord above, having no true joy and love.
Many like this we see each day, yet we have so little to say,
But, in The Spirit, we must rely, in His Power, from on High,
As we seek in another's life, to be a voice, for Jesus Christ,
A voice people may not heed, but, it is Truth that they need.
One thing cannot be ignored; all these souls need The Lord,
How can they continue to cope, without The Blessed Hope?
A hope that comes from above; Jesus, the Hope I speak of,
He's the only one who fulfills, the deeper need in individuals.
It's nothing new under the sun, that deeper need in everyone,
For all upon this earthly sod, the need to know the Lord God;
A vacuum in the heart of man, that needs to be and only can,
Be filled in both you and I, through God's Spirit from on high.
The need can be filled only with, The Creator's Awesome Gift,
God's Gift, sent to everyone, that Gift being God's Only Son,
Who grants all souls restoration, through grace and salvation,
Which brings peace, be assured, as one believes in The Lord.

Love, Peace & Happiness
Don't want to think about just where I would be
Had you not had the heart to come rescue me
Gave me a new start, on this life, had mercy
With you I fell in love, no I can see that I'm free
Your love is deep as the ocean
Wide as the sea
Your love has my deovtion
You get every part of me
There's so much that I can say but words don't really show
So I let my life speak so the world will know
You've given me love, peace and happiness
You've given me life and I knowIi'm blessed
You've given me all that I need and yes
Lord with everything you've done for me
Most thankful cause you've given me you
It's so amazing you were able to find
Something worth saving and with your love divine
You reached into this life andyou gave me a chance
Set my feet on a rock and now i can dance
Your love is deep as the ocean
Wide as the sea
Your love has my devotion
You get every part of me
There's so much I can say but words don't really show
So I let my life speak so the world will know
You've given me love, peace and happiness
You've given me life and I know I'm blessed
You've given me all that I need and yes lord with everything you've done for me
Most thankful cause you've given me you
There's so much that I can say like
So great and so powerful yes you are lord
There's so much that I can say like
Amazing incredible yes you are lord
There's so much that I can say but words
Don't really show
So I let my life speak so the world will know
You've given me love, peace and happiness
You've given me life and I know I'm blessed
You've given me all that I need and yes lord with everything you've done for me
Most thankful cause you've given me you (3x)

Sonnet: Love Rules the World
Love is the thing by which God made our earth;
Love is the thing that saves us from dangers;
Love is the thing by which God gave man, breath;
Love is the thing that binds neighbors, strangers.
Love is the thing that creatures on earth seek;
Love is the thing we expect in friendship;
Love is the thing that rules man's heart, mind meek;
Love is the thing that thrills hearts in courtship.
Love is the thing that binds a family;
Love is the thing a teacher gives pupils;
Love is the thing we ought to give fully;
Love is the thing that every man's heart fills.
Love is the thing that gives meaning to life;
Love is the thing that binds man, God in strife.

The One God
A God of mercy
A God of kindness
A God who Is Love
He Is my own
A God so magnificent
A God of graciousness
The Holy One
Who walketh In Righteousness
Thank You for the privilege
Of seeing Your creation
Everyday I live to glorify You
Cos everyday is a gift from You
A God who gave His Son
A God who is concerned about every detail of my life
A God who loves my family
A God who is always there for me...
My Father In Heaven
He Is the One
The Creator of the glorious Angels
The Creator of the beautiful flowers
The Creator of the oceans and seas
The Creator of the lovely hills
The Creator of all precious creatures
The Creator of me
The Only True God
And there is none other than Him
All knowing
All Powerful
Declaring the end from the beginning
How Great Thou Art
Master of the winds
Calmer of the storms
Healer of the sick
Provider for the needy
Sustainer of the widow
Father of the orphan
The Great I Am That I Am
His Name Is JEHOVAH
The creator of the heavens and earth
I worship You through Your Son
Jesus Christ
Who gave His Life
To give me Life
All because You loved me
Thanks, Glory and Honour be to You
Through Christ Your Son, Our Lord, Amen..

I Love You Lord Jesus
I love you, Lord.
I love you, Lord
More than anyone in this world
Because Your love is the greatest of all.
I love you, Lord
For You are my Protector
When the world is against me.
I love you, Lord
Because You are the one
Who gives me strength and hope.
I love you, Lord
Because You alone
Who understand me.
I love you, Lord
Because You love me
More than I love you.
I love you, Lord
For helping my family,
Relatives, and friends.
I love you, Lord
Because You are my guiding light
When my life is full of darkness.
O Lord, so many reasons to love you
But even without these reasons,
I still love you, Lord Jesus.
I know,
You have loved me before,
You love me now,
You will love me tomorrow,
And for the rest of my life.
I love you, Lord Jesus...

Sunny
Sunny,
Yesterday my life was filled with rain.
Sunny,
You smiled at me and really eased the pain.
The dark days are gone,
And the bright days are here,
My Sunny one shines so sincere.
Sunny one so true,
I love you.
Sunny,
Thank you for the sunshine bouquet.
Sunny,
Thank you for the love you brought my way.
You gave to me your all and all.
Now I feel ten feet tall.
Sunny one so true,
I love you.
Sunny, thank you for the truth you let me see.
Sunny, thank you for the facts from A to C.
My life was torn like a windblown sand,
And the rock was formed when you held my hand.
Sunny one so true,
I love you.
Sunny
Sunny,
Thank you for the smile upon your face.
Sunny,
Thank you for the gleam that shows its grace.
You're my spark of nature's fire,
You're my sweet complete desire.
Sunny one so true,
I love you.
Sunny,
Yesterday my life was filled with rain.
Sunny,
You smiled at me and really eased the pain.
The dark days are gone,
And the bright days are here,
My Sunny one shines so sincere.
Sunny one so true,
I love you.
I love you
I love you
I love you
I love you
I love you
I love you

To Know The Creator
I’m blessed to know the Mighty Creator, Jesus Christ, Lord and Savior,
The One Who knitted me in the womb, provides for us an eternal room,
In His Father’s mansion above, provided solely by His Grace and Love,
Love poured out by God at Calvary, so that sinners can live for eternity.
The One who died for all of my sin, in my present life now dwells within,
As my Blessed Savior and Friend, guiding me in my life, at every bend,
It’s such a blessing to be assured, not by men but by my Blessed Lord,
And that He will be with me to the end, as my Lord my guide and friend.
When troubles do come, I understand, that all my times are in His hand,
The mighty hand of The Eternal God, as I journey upon this earthly sod,
On a journey that was marked out by, my Lord God, who reigns on high.
This present journey with its destiny, which ends not here but in Eternity.
It is for sure a comfort here to know, that God is with me, wherever I go,
With Christ’s Spirit dwelling inside, wherever I journey, Christ shall abide,
With me daily as I live out my life, for my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ,
Right by my side, from place to place, as God guides me by His Grace.
The very Lord God, Who created me, intended that I would live eternally,
And since my sin had separated us, God had sent for me, Christ Jesus,
Who became for me God’s sacrifice, so that I could enter into Paradise,
So I could walk with Him forevermore, as I enter through Heaven’s Door.

Only From Him
He is very good indeed to me, as only Jesus Christ can be,
He is Creator and Sustainer of, everything, and from above,
From His everlasting Throne, where He cares for all His own,
Seated at The Father’s side, with Authority not to be denied.
All praise is due to Him, who saved me from a world of sin,
Granting a mortal sinner like me, new life above for eternity,
While giving me a spiritual birth, to live anew upon the earth,
Giving me all reason to praise, The Lord above all my days.
Leading me out of the night, into my Savior’s Blessed Light,
Leaving me The Word of Life, to start living for Jesus Christ,
Which is what I need to begin, life down here apart from sin,
All this received by His Grace, that I discover in every place.
And His Grace is just a start, as Christ now lives in my heart.
Christ gives to me true joy within, as my Lord and my friend,
So as other friends may leave, to my Lord I’ll always cleave,
For from this joy in my heart, is His peace that won’t depart.
And this joy within will extend, into a time which has no end,
With an eternity ahead for us, who in Christ, place their trust.
Only from The Lord God above, can we receive such a love,
From His One and Only Son, with enough love for everyone.

A Body of Believers
My friend, a true body of believers, will truly be of one accord,
When the spirit they’ve received, is truly from Christ The Lord.
The infiltration of any deceivers, is one thing unity can’t afford,
If a true body of believers, seeks to serve and glorify The Lord.
The early Church of Jesus Christ, was of one accord at the start,
As men surrendered their life, and gave to God their entire heart.
They were to become the Light, and shades of dark had no part.
And anyone initiating any strife, for the sake Jesus must depart.
A special unity they would show, as they preached to all the rest,
And all who saw would truly know, from above they were blessed.
By The Lord they were sent to go, and of Truth they would attest.
Through all trials they would grow, gaining strength at every test.
They were known for their love, for Jesus Christ and one another,
Through a unity that was truly of, The Lord Jesus in every brother.
And it was from The Lord above, whose love is truly like no other.
Drawing other men with His Love; hoping this day to add another.
They had spread God’s revelation, about The Lord Jesus Christ,
And all about The Lord’s Salvation, and the Hope of Eternal Life.
Preaching to every man and nation, in the Love of Jesus Christ,
And always with an anticipation, that they’d give Christ their life.

Life Through Eternity Reality
Life so short
Eternity so long
God so beautiful
view entire life
upon this earth
but a mere heart
beat
in
time
really it
does not
matter
I accept
all blessed
be thy name

Girls & Boys (live In Rio)
====================
I've been walking in the rain
Just to get wet on purpose
I've been forcing myself
Not to forget just to feel worse
I've been getting away with it all my life
(Getting away)
However I look, it's clear to see
That I love you more than you love me
However I look, it's clear to see:
I love you more than you love me
I hate that mirror
It makes me feel so worthless
I'm an original sinner
But when I'm with you I couldn't care less
I've been getting away with it all my life
Getting away with it
All my life
(Getting away)
However I look, it's clear to see
That I love you more than you love me
However I look, it's clear to see:
I love you more than you love me
I love you more than you love me
More than you love me
I thought I gave up falling in love
A long, long time ago
I guess I like it, but I can't tell you
You shouldn't really know
And it's been true all my life
Yes, it's been true all my life
I've been talking to myself
Just to suggest that I'm selfish
(Getting ahead)
I've been trying to impress
That more is less, and I'm repressed
(I should do what he said)
However I look, it's clear to see:
I love you more than you love me
However I look, it's clear to see:
I love you more than you love me
I love you more than you love me
I love you more than you love me
Get away with it
Get away with it

The Good Lord Blessed Me
Through my life many strange things
have happened to me.
From a lonely life I thought I would lead
the good Lord blessed me
with a wonderful wife.
He blessed me with friends
all around the world,
some of which I may never see.
From what I thought
might be a sad and lonely life
the good Lord blessed me
with thing I could only dream of.
From sadness he delivered me to my wife.
From loneliness he gave to me friends
far across the sea.
He enriched my life with treasures
only some can dream of.
The treasures were not of money,
but love of a wonderful kind.
He let me meet people
of every race, colour and creed.
Delivered me from evils
for which I may have fallen.
For the hurt the good Lord blessed me
with a helping hand
so that I can help others
when and if I can.
He blessed me with the written word
so I can write of comfort and joy.
Yes, the good Lord blessed me
with all these wonderful things.

A True Mother's Love
A mother's love is consistent
and patient, it will never fade.
A mother's love is warm and
compassionate, even in the
shade. A mother's love will
always help you through the
weakest hours. A mother's love
is always like a bouquet of
flowers. A mother's love is
strong and will never steer
you wrong. A true mother's
love is beautiful in many ways.
A true mother's love is sincere
and it takes a mother's love to
conquer our fears. A true mother's
love knows the depth of love. A
true mother's love is contentment,
just like God's love. My mother's
love is absolutely all of the above.

How I wish to be LOVED
close as your fingers
are to each other
tall, thin, fat, or small
warm as your palm
as you squeeze me in
sincere as your heart
is to every pause of life
affectionate as your bossom
to a hungry suckling child
and intimate, intimate as your sweet lips
are on those esctatic inches of my life
