You must try to match your colors as nearly as you can to those you see before you, and you must study the effects of light and shade on nature's own hues and tints.

Oh! Green, Stay Green!

In the brilliant spectrum of rainbow hues,
Oh, Green! Thou art a ravishing shade.

You glow and fade in distant skies,
You hide beneath the oceans deep,
You make the Earth so cheery to live,
You ward off famine and assure wealth,
You signal movement and ensure health,
You sooth the eyes and cool the hearts.

In the brilliant spectrum of rainbow hues,
Oh, Green! Thou art a ravishing shade.

Green is the garb; God gave the Earth to wear,
Green is the harbinger of blooming spring,
Green – the forests that is home to beasts,
Green – the meadows, where the cattle graze,
Green – the prairies that stretch afar,
Green – the lawns that adorn the homes,
Green – the tuft of grass that grows beneath,
Green – the unripe fruits that hangs from boughs.

In the brilliant spectrum of rainbow hues,
Oh, Green! Thou art a ravishing shade.

But Alas! The Green is fast fading out,
The verdant Earth, turned into an arid stretch,
Life made so horrid for man and beast,
And Nature mourns her doleful plight,
Toil hard to usher the Green again,
Never let the trees fall and rot,
Take from Nature just enough to make you go,
And keep in reserve what is due for the ones to come!

In the brilliant spectrum of rainbow hues,
Oh, Green! Thou art a ravishing shade.

My Rainbow is Overdue

I'm searching for a rainbow
Everytime I look up to the blue sky
I can't find any bright colors
Becuz I'm blinded by the tears I cry

It stoped raining and the sun is shining
But there is no rainbow in sight
Soon the sun will set in the horizon
And all the world will slumber in the night

But I will lie awake wondering
Just where is my silver lining in the sky
There are no rainbows or bright colors
And I can't figure out why

So since its night I'll look at the stars
I'll study the brightness of the moon
And I know that once the storm passes
My rainbow will appear soon

But there are to many demons
That turn bright colors into black
My demon is a filthy animal
He's just a monkey on my back

The demon appears in darkness
Thats why I can't sleep
So I light a match and take a hit
And smoke the demon while I weep

But I'm tired of the high
I want to get high on life
The demons must die
Kill them with a big bloody knife

When I'm free from addiction
Maybe I'll spot an angel in the sky
I'll be able to finally see my rainbow
Becuz there won't be tears in my eyes

The rainbow will shine brighter than before
And I'll be able to share the colors with you
I'm fighting the demons and I know I can win
Becuz my rainbow is way overdue

I Bleed Red, White and Blue

I’m the soldier who defends,
I bleed red, white and blue.
Not for our local politicians,
rather I selflessly bleed for you.

I bleed red for your freedom,
the one I protect at any cost.
Crimson colors ensuring that
your civil rights are never lost.

I bleed white for a noble cause,
not a political agenda you see.
Ivory hues this soldier spews,
to protect and shelter you and me.

I bleed blue for all your children,
and their children just the same.
Blue shades this soldier emanates,
all I ask is you remember my name.

I bleed all the Patriotic colors of,
our flag, I’ll never be able to deny.
Tints of freedom and dedication.
this soldier will honor until I die.

A Picture Of Colors

A picture of colors
A purple forest of colors
A balloon of colors
A blue fantasy of colors
This is what our planet should be
A whirlwind of colors
A white world of colors
A resting place of colors
A red hideaway of colors
This is what it should look like
A ‘yes' world of colors
A yellow rainbow of colors
A graced hill of colors
A green meadow of colors
An overflowing basket of colors
An orange bowl of colors
This would be a perfect place

Not Impatient

The colors of autumn start to fade
and as the leaves begin their fall
the grass is left with no shade.
It does not complain.
It accepts snow and rain
and as the cold seeps
the grass patiently sleeps.
Now the colors change to a dull brittle brown
Still the sun shines down
on this changing of the colors.
And it's we that frown,
not the colors of autumn.

I Want To Be Your Cloud

For once I'm not thinking of myself
Ulterior motives disappear and fade, fade
Colors return from the shade, shade
Helen among the thorns I put my pride on the shelf and I
See you at the bottom of the sea, blind with light in your eyes
Ill-guided by the angler in disguise and
All I want is to hold you up to the naked sunset sky. That's you.

Diminishing, Vanishing, Evanescence

our nature is to fade
we are diminished every minute
we shed we exude we exhale
whatever is kept is destined
to be lost
as early as dawn that surrenders
to light
and lights soon to darkness
we must learn to accept
this destiny of losing

we empty we are atoms
blown by the wind
we relinquish what is given us
we surrender always what we think
we have obtained and won

this is the evanescence of our
human nature
we are melting we are evaporating
we see hues of colors turning pastel
we pale we wrinkle we shrink
we are diffused in space
we turn to dust

nevertheless all these are but prologues
for something bigger
for something beyond all these
to the grand reunion
and on this anticipation there is no reason
for sorrow and grieving and lamentation

from this island of despair we take the boat
and cross the body of water
i am not seeing it yet
but my heart beats
for what i cannot imagine yet i know it is there

Song: Tis Not the Beam

'Tis not the beam of her bright blue eye,
Nor the smile of her lip of rosy dye,
Nor the dark brown wreaths of her glossy hair,
Nor her changing cheek, so rich and rare.
Oh! these are the sweets of a fairy dream,
The changing hues of an April sky.
They fade like dew in the morning beam,
Or the passing zephyr's odour'd sigh.

'Tis a dearer spell that bids me kneel,
'Tis the heart to love, and the soul to feel:
'Tis the mind of light, and the spirit free,
And the bosom that heaves alone for me.
Oh! these are the sweets that kindly stay
From youth's gay morning to age's night;
When beauty's rainbow tints decay,
Love's torch still burns with a holy light.

Soon will the bloom of the fairest fade,
And love will droop in the cheerless shade,
Or if tears should fall on his wing of joy,
It will hasten the flight of the laughing boy.
But oh! the light of the constant soul
Nor time can darken nor sorrow dim;
Though woe may weep in life's mingled bowl,
Love still shall hover around its brim.

Light The Shade

When you're feeling lonely
And you heart is hungry
I'll light the shade
When the moon escapes you
And the sun denies you
I'll light the shade
When the question's pending
You feel it all descending
I'll light the shade
Out answer searching
When it's all confusing
I'll light the shade
Out answer searching
When it's all confusing
I'll light the shade
When the moon escapes you
And the sun denies you
I'll light the shade

The Flower~

THE FLOWER

Have you wondered?
Wondered how I came about..
It was by the seed
The seed that got life!
Seed that is fed day and night
Fed with fertility and water
It took me a while...
A while to start merging
Merging from the womb
The womb of the earth
The womb that covers all
The womb that people step on
Made of dust, soil maybe sand
Merging out to see the light
Fresh air and sun light
Yes, I was first a seed then a plant
A plant that grew with colors
Grew tall and higher
Grew higher trying to reach the sky
I wasn't building a tower
Or try to gain any power
It was just me the flower
The flower that has color
The colors of my superpower
The colors that can be any talent
The colors that illuminate as sun rises
Yes! ! I am the flower
The flower that creates balance of power
The power that exists in life
More specific the balance in nature
Take me well...
Take me as you flower!
And let your eyes empower
Empower what nature offer as ours

Paint Me In All Hues

On a lazy afternoon as this
When the room has been
Shut off to sunlight
The light floral curtains
Fluttered to the whirring fan
My languid leisurely skin lie there
Bare to the cool circulating air

There's a sudden outburst
Of colors of varied hues and shades
That showered as if from
The ever intriguing sky above

Desire, in its intricate motifs
And inexplicable colors had spread
In multicolored patterns
Carefully arranged in heaps of petals
From the last strand of hair
To the last particle of my little toe…

Come, my love
Add your share of colour
To complete the picture

Study Nature

I do.
Victim.
Sales
Met
Wipe
Her
Less.
Was a disappointment
We say it.
Study nature.
Or
Who
Towering.
Mispronounced
Spelling.
She
Was
Astonishing
To
No
One
For
Fun
Study from nature.
I
Am
Pleased
Thoroughly
I
Am
Thoroughly
Pleased.
By.
It.
It is very likely.
They said so.
Oh.
I want.
To do.
What
Is
Later
To
Be
Refined.
By
Turning.
Of turning around.
I will wait.

Colors Of Life

See the colors of life
The colors of dreams
The colors of life
Wherever you go
Wherever you may go
Trust in hope, trust in your real friends
Planet colors alive, you hold it in your hands
Realize you have to open your eyes
And Ive learned everything has always two sides
You're not alone
The world is one family
You're not alone
Find your way to be free
You're not alone
Love is the hope to survive
You're not alone
See the colors of life
See the colors of life
See the colors of life
See the colors of dreams
They are wild and free
See the colors around
See the colors around
The colors you have found
See the colors of life
See the colors of life
The colors of dreams
The colors of life
The colors of life
The colors of dreams
The colors of life
There's a land, there's a place in your heart
Tolerance is the key to make a better start
I've been waiting for my lessons of life
And I've learned everything has always two sides

Eclipse

I watch the moon eclipse the sun,
Curving over it in half-light,
Draining its dazzling beams into obscurity.
The moon looks like a king,
Hoisting the dead-sun's crown above its head
The corona latticing over the sky.
It takes dominion—for a brief period—
Of the astral realms that were once warmed
By the explosive temper of an imposing star.
I can look up to the sky,
Unaided by filters or indirect projection,
And admire its curious vastness and vacuity.
I can notice the well painted colors and balance
Of all things—
How spaces defines what I see.
Just then,
As my eyes relax to the diminished, cooling shade,
The sun pushes the moon to the side,
Recapturing control of the day-time
And golden flows cascade down into each open orifice.
The inky tints of my pupils shrink, bleach and bun
White into blindness.
Now I don't see at all.
