Aristotle

For as the eyes of bats are to the blaze of day, so is the reason in our soul to the things which are by nature most evident of all.

Blaze Of Love

We are running out of time
Weve got one foot on the rock, and one foot over the line
This love, this loves not turning back
Well I dont know about you, but me Im following that
Late at night, watching you sleep, and I know inside, Im over the edge
Chorus:
Im goin down, down, down, in a blaze of love, in a blaze of love
Im goin down, down, down, in a blaze of love, in a blaze of love
Oh you, you can run away
You can shatter my world, scatter my dreams all over the place
But i, Ive grown to love these chains
You can tear em apart but I dont wanna escape
I close my eyes, picture your smile and I know inside, Im over the edge
Im goin down, down, down, in a blaze of love, in a blaze of love
Im goin down, down, down, in a blaze of love, blaze of love
Blaze of love
Blaze of love
(guitar solo)
Oh, Im over the edge...in a blaze of love
(down, down, down, blaze of love) blaze of love
(down, down, down) in a blaze of love, in a blaze of love
Im goin down, down, down, down, down, down
In a blaze of love (blaze of love)
Down, down, down, in a blaze of love...

Dangers

Dangers are evident, say the police,
Upstairs expressions are being made.
To point to the names of bears and wolves
Concerns our soul, as they too are evident.

Dangerous men are like workers of the soil,
They contain hard pressure to make us great.
For we are safe from them, their dangers and foul play,
That risk us and their children, their wives.

May the danger be contacted afterwards,
May it reason with us to simply supplicate.

Richard Attenborough

And there are certain things, and they are evident, obviously, without being boring about it, but I mean obviously, the two evident and easy ones being Gandhi and Cry Freedom, there are things which I do care about very much and which I would like to stand up and be counted.

Blaze Of Glory

Let's go out in a blaze of glory
All good things must end
Like two heros in a story
Lets go out like we came in
In a blaze of glory
Here we are broken-hearted
We thought our love would never end
We fell hard when we got started
Fallin' out like we fell in
Let's go out in a blaze of glory
All good things must end
Like two heros in a story
Lets go out like we came in
In a blaze of glory
Let's gonna hurt each other
That would be a worse mistake
Once again lets act like lovers
One more time for old-time's sake
Let's go out in a blaze of glory
All good things must end
Like two heros in a story
lets go out like we came in
in a blaze of glory
let's go out (lets go out)
in a blaze of glory (in a blaze of glory)
all good things must end
like two heros (ah) in a story (in a story.)
lets go out (lets go out) like we came in (like we came in)
in a blaze of glory

Beyond All Reason

I love you beyond all reason
My love, my sweet, my soul devout
For you are all that is beautiful
To the eye of my hearts mind
And what more could make me feel
Such pining and longing as you
When I look upon your smile
These eyes windows to my soul
Look inside and see your reflection
For all I choose to see is you my love
You who I call all beautiful
Of the fairest heart and gentle nature
You are the love personified in verse
As near perfect as I dare to speak
And what reason or understanding exists
In the throws of such unrelenting thought
No, there is none I know of
All that there is, is an exclamation
I love you beyond all reason

Nature Is One Great Intelligence

nature is one great intelligence
it never puts anybody's nose on his anus
or his penis on his head, or his hands
on his foot, stomach on his buttocks
and men and women, male and female
fit into each other just nice as if
they have been made for each other
and those who love otherwise would
too find their love nature arranges for them
nature is such a great intelligence
all things go according to its secret plans
though with some interesting variations
nature is such a great intelligence
not a single thing happens without a reason
nature is such a great intelligence
you can go along with it, hand in hand,
mind in mind, body and soul
sitting quietly in your house
in a cave, in your own self listening
to its voice of love for all
go along with its great workshop of body,
mind and soul, a blossom in all its silence
confident of its own splendour and fragrance

Bats Shadow Fly Feed

treetop height
in dark of night
fruit ripe to bite

bats shadow fly by annual feed
balcony two stories up my whistle lead
back night souls flit spirit mead

in these ink hours soul breathe
in these night whispers soul seethe
in these fruit feasts bats weave

Small Things Bother Me

He wore dark glasses I could not see his eyes
And the mirror to his soul he did disguise
He hid from the World his personality
Without the eyes a face you only see.

Perhaps his eyes from the bright sun he shade
The main reason why dark glasses are made
And though he lives nearby him I shall never get to know
As he wears dark glasses rain or sun shine or snow.

Any acknowledgement of me he never seems to show
And we pass each other by without saying hello
Through his dark glasses into my soul he peer
And he's still a stranger though to me he lives near.

Perhaps I'm small in ways and small things get to me
But it bothers me when others eyes I cannot see
Whether their eyes be blue, brown, green or grey who can say
As the mirror to their soul behind dark glasses hidden away.

I see him often though not every day
And his eyes behind dark glasses always hidden away
The mirror of his soul is well hidden from me,
Perhaps I'm small and small things bother me.

Bats of Darkness

As I see the sun
my heart floats like a balloon

I'd hate to admit it
but i'm acting like an idiot

We all know that light will die
as darkness creeps up upon the muddy soil under our feet

As the sun goes down
bats are not sleeping

As dusk weaves itself over our sky
darkness awakes with our bats

Most people think the sun will come back
after we wake the next day, not a fact

Darkness will stay as long as we shall live
and we turn into bats

The winged creatures of the night woke up
from the jolly spirit of the day

Bats shall live forever,
will feast on fruit

The sun is gone and the flowers run away
for without the sun they all die

Do you fear us?

What's Behind My Eyes

What is behind my eyes?
A genius,
A lonely soul
One searching for comfort
Hoping for acceptance

What is behind my eyes?
A fighter
A lonely soul
Only wanting final peace
Wishing for a true friend

What is behind my eyes?
A school boy
A lonely soul
Who can't quite grasp reality
Learning new aspects of life

What is behind my eyes?
A peacekeeper
A lonely soul
Who always solves others' problems
Praying to solve his own

What is behind my eyes?
A student
A lonely soul
Constantly studying forms
Looking for some reason to live

What is behind my eyes?
A lost child
A lonely soul
Always whining and cowering
Searching for his family

What is behind my eyes?
A young teacher
A lonely soul
Never resting so that she may help
Dreaming of past happiness

What is behind my eyes?
A companion
A lonely soul
One who lends out comfort
Hoping to receive its own

What is behind my eyes?

I Love....

i love...
that's the reason i walk,
the reason i breathe.
the reason i grieve.
the reason i dance.
the reason i smile.
the reason i listen.
the reason i offer a hand.
the reason i see beauty.
the reason i see both darkness,
and light....
the reason i take chances.
the reason i keep going.
the reason i get angry.
the reason i forgive.
the reason i touch.
the reason i question.
the reason i believe.
the reason i am tolerant.
the reason i understand.
the reason i fall.
the reason i fly.
the reason i write...
the reason i am what i am!

Thirteen Lines

A brain peered through stoic eyes;
Yet all it saw was rendered into
Flawed interpretation –
No honoured contemplation of a
Gluon, muon, quark of any flavour;
Nor a vision or conception of its world
Within a universe anthropic in its physical laws,
Inside a boundless multiverse.
All it gleaned and modelled
Bore parochialism well beyond belief! –
Delusional perhaps.
Survival only matters here on planet Earth –
Evolution saw to that.

Facts Can Be What Whoever Says They Are

If from inception,
There had been no truth.
And from this a reality was based.
Any claims of fraudulence,
Can be denied.
Since prior to inception...
Truth was not a consideration.
And reality was what it was wished to be!
As far as interpretation of facts goes.
And facts can be what whoever says they are.
But when?
And in who's time...
Do they begin to be used for accountability purposes.
If truths are to be held self evident...
When is the constitutionality of consciousness applied?
If applied and how is that determined?

Note:
The word 'self evident' introduced into the English language
as an adjative in 1671.
Definition: 'evident' without proof or reasoning.
Evident: Clear to one's vision or understanding.

Thousand Human Eyes

Thousand human eyes
Cannot grasp nature’s beauty
In lifetime to praise

Thousand human eyes
Cannot see nature in full
As I always flies

Thousand human eyes
Falls short in their description
Of Sunset sunrise

Thousand human eyes
Cannot apprehend nature
Beneath the blue skies

Thousand human eyes
Fails to see nature’s beauty
To fully appraise

Thousand human eyes
Cannot fully understand
Nature to surmise

Thousand human eyes
Are blessed to see the nature
In its complete guise

Thousand human eyes
Sees the beauty of nature
With awe and oyez

Thousand human eyes
Is not capable to see
Nature’s burning eyes

An Open Secret!

Can you unfold rose bud as naturally as it is?
Sun flower blooms by the sight of Sun all days;
Lily flower blooms by the sight of Moon all days.
Is it possible to do so by me or your presence?

Nature does wonder we cannot even imagine!
Seeing Nature many things are created often;
But all delicate things can man do as Nature?

Natural expression has a value of its own sure;
Learning and doing things are different matter;
Same thing happens in the creativity of poetry.

All things happening in Nature are great wonders;
But who does care to note things of beauty in Nature?
Divine spirit present in all things of Nature is clear; but
Ignorance of man fails him to realize this open secret!

All I Need To Know

So I walk another mile down this crooked road
Clouds rolling in lord its getting cold
Feeling fine, feel lost, feeling blue tonight
But my only friend is mr. moonlight
Then I see you girl lost in your book of poems
Youre in another world,
I should leave you alone
My heart races on I try and hold it back
But like a runaway train Im about to jump the tracks
Now you say you need a friend
I swear to you if thats what you need
Thats what Ill be
But I hope this never ends
I feel theres something more the way
You look at me
And thats all I need to know
I wont question why dont need a reason
We can take our time we can take it real slow
When I see it in your eyes
Thats all I need to know
Now were talking bout angels that have lost their wings
This melancholy world and the nature of things
But them theres only silence when your eyes meet mine
Sends a shiver to my soul runs deeper than time
Reciting from your black book you were like some wounded bird
I tried to catch your heart as it fell between your words
You tore out one page and let it blow away
Then you disappeared into your world
Its a place I just cant stay
You say you need a friend
I swear to you if thats what you need
Thats what Ill be
But I hope this never ends
I feel theres something more the way
You look at me
And thats all I need to know
I wont question why dont need a reason
We can take our time we can take it real slow
When I see it in your eyes
Thats all I need to know
All I need to know
I wont question why dont need a reason
We can take our time we can take it real slow
But its right here in my heart
Thats all I need to know
Thats all I need to know
I wont question why dont need a reason
We can take our time we can take it real slow
When I see it in your eyes
Thats all I need to know
All I need to know
I wont question why dont need a reason
We can take our time we can take it real slow
But its right here in my heart
Thats all I need to know
Thats all I need to know
Thats all I need to know
Thats all I need to know

The Living Torch

Those lit eyes go before me, in full view,
(Some cunning angel magnetised their light) -
Heavenly twins, yet my own brothers too,
Shaking their diamond blaze into my sight.

My steps from every trap or sin to save,
In the strait road of Beauty they conduct me,
They are my servants, and I am their slave,
Obedient in whatever they instruct me.

Delightful eyes, you burn with mystic rays
Like candles in broad day; red suns may blaze,
But cannot quench their still, fantastic light.

Those candles burn for death, but you for waking :
You sing the dawn that in my soul is breaking,
Stars which no sun could ever put to flight!
