By keeping my hand in that, it's the way I keep learning. The main way you learn in medicine is by practicing and working with patients.

Biting Those Lips
Why are you biting your lips?
'I am practicing.'
So you are learning to keep your mouth shut?
'I said I was 'practicing'.
And as far as keeping my mouth shut...
That is a learning process.
And I did say I was practicing.
I did not say I was learning anything...
Yet! '
Practice makes perfect,
You know?
'Who said anything about wanting to be perfect?
There are too many rehearsing that right now.
With questionable results I am sure will be delivered.
And I am practicing biting my lips,
In the event 'that' becomes a necessity.
And once that becomes discovered as one of my skills,
Well...
Only 'then' will I begin rehearsing perfection,
To overwhelm those disbelieving...
I have yet revealed another talent no one can deny.'
I see.
Well...
You keep biting those lips,
Okay?

We learn by practice. Whether it means to learn to dance by practicing dancing or to learn to live by practicing living, the principles are the same. One becomes in some area an athlete of God.

We All Have Different Approaches
Why do you climb the stairs,
To then intentionally fall down them.
To repeat that over again?
'I am practicing rejection.
I like to believe I am being pro-active,
About these things.
You know...
Reaching the top!
To then fall down.
Well...
Perhaps it was best,
You did not seek from anyone their advice.
'I want to learn from my own experiences.'
I took a different route.
But we all have different approaches,
To achieve similar results in the end.
I use to bang my head up against the walls.
'I'm not into that kind of pain.
That's too melodramatic.
I don't wont to be emotionally attached,
To my rejection.
That's why I am practicing not to be involved.
Hopefully I will experience less traumatic affects.'
Well...
Keep practicing.
I'm sure you will learn something,
That will eventually be suitable and life changing for you.
If you should live through your 'rehearsals',
Without breaking your neck.

The physicians of one class feel the patients and go away, merely prescribing medicine. As they leave the room they simply ask the patient to take the medicine. They are the poorest class of physicians.

I learn when I teach others
I learn when I listen
I learn when I read
I learn from children

Working Undercover For The Man
Ive been working hard, trying to sing and play guitar
Growing out my hair and practicing my stare
Paid to fake it in a traveling band
And Im working undercover for the man
Sha-la-la-la-la sha-la-la-la-la-la
Planning midnight raids on our unsuspecting fans
While the roadies rig the video surveillance van
Paid to fake it in a traveling band
And Im working undercover for the man
Sha-la-la-la-la sha-la-la-la-la-la
Sha-la-la-la-la sha-la-la-la-la-la
Ive been working hard, practicing to sing and play guitar
Growing out my hair and working on my stare
Paid to fake it in a traveling band
And Im working undercover for the man
Sha-la-la-la-la sha-la-la-la-la-la
Sha-la-la-la-la sha-la-la-la-la-la

My advice to an aspiring actor would be to never stop learning or working for what you want. Nothing comes easy, ever, if you want something, you have to work for it. By working for it I mean work on your craft, learn from people who have something to teach. It's just like anything else, practice makes perfect.

Girl, You Have No Faith In Medicine
Girl, you have no faith in medicine
Acetaminophen
You see the medicine
Girl, you have no faith in medicine
Is there a way to find the cure for this
Implanted in a pill?
Is it just the name upon the bottle
That determines if it will?
Is the problem youre allergic
To a well familiar name?
Do you have a problem with this one
If the results are the same?
Acetaminophen
You see the medicine
Girl, you have no faith in medicine
Well strip the bark right off a tree
And just hand it this way
Dont even need a drink of water
To make the headache go away
Give me sugar pill
And watch me just rattle
Down the street
Acetaminophen
You see the medicine
Girl, you have no faith in medicine

Teaching is more difficult than learning because what teaching calls for is this: to let learn. The real teacher, in fact, lets nothing else be learned than learning. His conduct, therefore, often produces the impression that we properly learn nothing from him, if by "learning" we now suddenly understand merely the procurement of useful information.

Little Genious
Little genious finaly learned to play the guitar
And it took months for him to learn how to play the guitar
But slowly he is learning
And he is practicing it everyday so he doesn't forget how to play the Guitar

Medicine Man
I'm the doctor, I can mend your broken heart
I'm the healer, I could take you right back to the start
So if you wanna take the chance well you better be sure
Baby, I'm the medicine man, I've got the cure
I'm the medicine man
I will make you the kinda girl that feels no pain
I can take you and put you back together again
So if you wanna jump on board well you better be sure
Baby, I'm the medicine man, I've got the cure
I'm the medicine man
That's what I am
Doing what I can
Cause I'm the medicine man
Listen, lady, don't make me drive you outta your mind
Cause together this remedy's not hard to find
So if you wanna take the chance and I'm damn sure that you do
Baby, I'm the medicine man
Now the rest's up to you
I'm the medicine man
That's what I am
Doing what I can
Cause I'm the medicine man
Medicine man, medicine man

Foundation of Love
Trust to me
Is the foundation
Of love
You share you're lives
On a roller coaster
Of love
You share
What you learn
You share
What you love
You learn each other's
Secrets and plans
You learn to be
Together as one
Commitment and patients
Will test you through time
Pain and laughter
Go hand in hand
But what makes
This special
And what makes
This grand
Is the trust you share
Becomes love evermore
Till death do you part?
Isn't life grand
Isn't that a grand plan

Live & Learn
Michael w. smith
Never should have tasted that forbidden fruit
Tell me why do I always do
What I dont want to do
Now, Im the only reaper of the seeds that I sow
And when I walk the field of my stubborn will
Its a hard row to hoe
Theres a price for getting smarter
So I pay what I owe
While bridges burn
Let the shadow fall behind me
I am wiser I know
We live and learn
Always living and learning
Always living and learning
Is it out of the fire, back in to the pan
Is once enough to let it all sink in-or will I do it again
A time for understanding has now come of age
So I heed the word of the counselor and the voice of the sage
Try to see the meaning
Read between every line
When pages turn
Therell be no room for explaining what has been well-defined
We live and learn
Always living and learning
Always living and learning
An engaging temptation had me doing time
cause when it starts a fire under strong desire
We are partners in crime
But hindsight is clearer
I can where Ive gone and never return
Its a new man in the mirror
Its a new freedom song to live and learn
Always living and learning
Always living and learning

Medicine Man
(coverdale)
You never leave her alone,
I can see you never learn
When youre playing with fire,
You get your fingers burned
There aint no use in crying,
Baby dont delay,
You can call your doctor,
Ill be there right away
Im the medicine man,
Your doctor of love
Medicine man,
Doctor of love
When theres a feeling inside,
That just cant be denied,
I will be your medicine man
Now dont you ever worry,
If you feel the fever rise,
Youll never fool nobody,
When theres fire in your eyes
There aint no use denying,
When you need it deep inside
Youve got your witch doctor
To keep you satisfied
Im the medicine man,
Your doctor of love
Medicine man,
Doctor of love
When theres a feeling inside,
That just cant be denied,
I will be your medicine man.
You never leave her alone,
I can see you never learn
When youre playing with fire,
You get your fingers burned
There aint no use in crying,
Baby dont delay,
You can call your doctor,
Ill be there right away
Im the medicine man,
Your doctor of love
Medicine man,
Doctor of love
When theres a feeling inside,
That just cant be denied,
I will be your medicine man
Your doctor of love
Im medicine man,
Doctor of love...

Art Of Heartbreak
Music: j. allen
Lyrics: hall/s. allen/j. allen
Try to ignore the twisted side
We kiss and we hiss at the same time
Dont you know some things just dont blow away
Youve been this way before, but the cuts just seem to hurt me more
Could be a reason for the difference...
Youve been practicing
The art of heartbreak
Practing
The art of heartbreak
Anticipating what shes aching for
Im being edgy leave her wanting more
Anyone might think wed rather be alone
Yeah, shes been cut before by sharp things Ive been saying so long
I cant believe the way she takes it
Ive been practicing
The art of heartbreak
Practicing
The art of heartbreak
Why do we make it hard, been hitting back and forth for so long
What are we aiming at, theres no score in love
I bet a million bucks she knows but wont let up on me, so
Ive just decided to stop
Practicing the art of heartbreak
Practicing
The art of heartbreak
Weve been practicing

Medicine Man
Orbison/dees
Ill bring you the talon from an eagle
A big black pearl from the sea
Ill bring one and twenty ponies
If youll bring wildflower to me
Medicine man,make your magic mine
Turn wildflower to a clinging vine
Medicine man wont you please help me
Dont leave me down in misery
Rattle them bones, then roll them stones
And make wildflower mine
I will bring you white buffalo
Ill bring honey from the bee
Ill keep fire-water flowing
If youll get the big chief to agree
Medicine man, help me if you can
Write a secret message in the sand
Medicine man, please let her know
Tell wildflower that I love her so
Take the breeze and shake the trees
And make wildflower mine
Now she has no use for a white man
Helpless and worthless like me
Tell her father big-strong-hand
To let wildflower comfort me
Medicine man,medicine man
Let it be known throughout the land
Medicine man, medicine man
I have to have the hand of wildflower
Take this piece of calico
Make a dress with a pretty bow
Tie it with a thread of lace
Take it to your secret place
Go into your sacred dance
Say a prayer for our romance
And make wildflower mine

Learning
I'm learning to say thank you.
And I'm learning to say please.
And I'm learning to use Kleenex,
Not my sweater, when I sneeze.
And I'm learning not to dribble.
And I'm learning not to slurp.
And I'm learning (though it sometimes really hurts me)
Not to burp.
And I'm learning to chew softer
When I eat corn on the cob.
And I'm learning that it's much
Much easier to be a slob.
