Pity may represent little more than the impersonal concern which prompts the mailing of a check, but true sympathy is the personal concern which demands the giving of one's soul.

Manners count
It is your dress, cleanliness and manner,
Not your skin, countenance, and glamour,
That earns you a woman’s concern.
Your clean mind, clean teeth, clean habit,
Not your muscles, jewels and wallet
Are which earn you a woman’s concern.
Be your manner and calls above her reproach.
Refrain from over care and over indulgence.
Then you will have earned a woman’s concern.
You lend her your ear and not eye.
You tend her passion, not her lust.
You will have won her concern.
If you have no concern for women,
If you have no woman’s concern,
Then no use of you being born.

To get concern
I like that I am poor,
That’d fetch me others’ concern.
I like that I fall ill,
That’d earn me others’ concern.
I like that I am aged,
That’d grant me others’ concern.
Such occasions failing,
I’d pretend like those.

Mine has been a concern for the people, a concern to maintain stability, a concern to get people working together racially, ethnically, rich and poor - all segments of the city.

Constructive Criticisms Are Welcome
the way i typed it has a sentamental value...im glad for your consern on my spelling but toommorow is not the point of the poem...thank you for being a 'spell check' if you will but each letter and word is writen the way i write it for a reason...but thank you for your concern
something british i suppose,
but the way i type it
has a sentimental value...
i am glad for your concern
on my spelling but
tomorrow is not the point of the poem...
thank you
for being a speller
a checker but each (word and letter) is written
the way i write it with reason
under the circumstances
reasonable and
legal and tolerable
thank you
thank you
for your concern....

I Pity You
I pity you when you walk down the street
I pity you when you open your mouth to speak
You will tell your story, with its pity and glory
As sympathy is all that you do seek.
I pity you and your parents dear
I pity you when from you they don’t want to hear
As you put them to blame, for your sadness and pain
That’s why for you no-one will shed a tear.
I pity you when you laugh and smile
I pity you as your life is full of guile
But you are the source, for your sadness and remorse
And you wont change even when walking your last mile.
I pity you as you once had something
I pity you as now you have nothing
You threw everything away, so you could stray
Now your retribution will be coming.
I pity you as with time you will age
I pity you with your hate and your rage
You will always fight, whether you are wrong or right
You are the animal and your soul is your cage
I pity you and I do it without a clue
I pity you whenever I see or hear of you
There is no sympathy, as your not my friend or enemy
And all I can say is, that I truly pity you.

Mandy
Knowing how to serve comes from practicing,
With humility and loving-kindness;
But deliver the news to he or she who cares,
And display true love and concern to one another.
Learn my muse and be perfect,
With the concern for the well-being of others;
For i am Mandy in the land of the people of peace!

Who wants a stone heart?
A detached heart is gate way to heaven.
No joy, no cry will affect it.
No pleasure, no pain will it experience.
Can then that heart have the capacity
To show concern, pity and sympathy?
Can it have will to sacrifice?
Can’t it subscribe to impotency?
Who wants a stone heart?

Disciplined
Disciplined,
Compassionate,
Reliable;
Be responsible to my muse and care for my joy,
But showing concern to me always is what i need.
Ethnic soul,
Of a single click and a double click!
But enter into the land of my soul with love and care,
And try to demonstrate care and concern for all.

In A Word
Stop, taking for granted
I am the one whos wrong
You might be surprised
Time standin still - seems like we dont belong
Youll realize
Start giving to me all you can
Stop telling me girl just where I stand
Chorus:
Its your turn you should show what you know to me
One Ive not heard before
My concern you cant tell what you know to me
You cant say it all in a word
Life turns around
Time not to look away
And face what you see
Truth shows itself - watch everything you say
When youre talking to me
You find yourself just in time
No dont be afraid of what youll find on the way
Chorus:
Its your turn you should show what you know to me
One Ive not heard before
My concern you cant tell what you know to me
You cant say it all in a word
Its your turn you should show what you know to me
One Ive not heard before
My concern you cant tell what you know to me
You cant say it all in a word
(instrumental break)
Chorus:
Its your turn you should show what you know to me
One Ive not heard before
My concern you cant tell what you know to me
You cant say it all in a word
No you cant say it all in one word...

Concern for passion
How high the Mount Everest is
Or how deep the Pacific is,
Is not my concern right now.
How much for me she cares
And how deep for me her love is,
Is my immediate concern.
How warm the sun is,
Or how cool the moon is,
Is not my anguish.
How warm her heart is,
And how cool her look is,
Is my desperate wish.
Concern for passion
Is corporal urge
That occupies foremost.

Man Is A Threat To Men
I cannot have concern for co-chasers.
I cannot have concern for co-escapees.
My survival is most important to me.
That is why man is a threat to men.

The sport of man and woman
A woman’s concern is
How she could be an asset to men’s eyes.
A man’s concern is
How he could get a berth in her heart.
This is the sport that keeps them smart.

Man is for fire, woman for fuel.
How you are rather than what you are,
Is the woman’s concern in bed.
How she appears rather than how she acts,
Is your concern with her in bed.
Enrich your skill and manner,
She, to do in looks and walk.
