I'm not staid and unbiased here. I have certain biases I want to convey, and if you disagree, that's fine.

It is only about things that do not interest one that one can give really unbiased opinions, which is no doubt the reason why an unbiased opinion is always valueless.

I Love You Anyways
You were on my mind
Inside the cinema
You looked so beautiful
I almost had to go
and when I got outside
I thought of you again
I think you should be framed
In some fine art gallery
I know you'd disagree with me
But I love you anyways
And should I climb high my
Dreary city walls
They make me feel so small
Oh let me fade away
This city's so cold and old
Forever rain or snow
i'd really love to come and go
Oh won't you stay with me
I know you'd disagree with me
I just know you'd disagree
but I love you anyways
You were on my mind
Inside the cinema
You looked so beautiful
I almost dried an eye
And when I got outside
I caught the 44
It dropped me outside my front door
Forgot what I'd been living for

The Water Lady
Alas, the moon should ever beam
To show what man should never see!—
I saw a maiden on a stream,
And fair was she!
I staid awhile, to see her throw
Her tresses black, that all beset
The fair horizon of her brow
With clouds of jet.
I staid a little while to view
Her cheek, that wore in place of red
The bloom of water, tender blue,
Daintily spread.
I staid to watch, a little space,
Her parted lips if she would sing;
The waters closed above her face
With many a ring.
And still I staid a little more,
Alas! she never comes again!
I throw my flowers from the shore,
And watch in vain.
I know my life will fade away,
I know that I must vainly pine,
For I am made of mortal clay,
But she's divine!

Believed' To Be Behind Faked Walls
Darker currents appear to unnerve and disturb.
Coming as they do...
To shake up the doubters.
Hushing but not 'yet' to close those mouths...
Still habitually tossing their standards valued.
Still habitually tossing their way of life,
And lives of others they push around and about.
Torment and heartache they come to face.
And it is with faith.
And it is with hope prayed...
That 'Something' arrives,
To rattle them away and out of their cages...
To scope.
'It is hard to contain a hatred with those biases made.'
Something within them rattles them out of their cages.
'It is hard to contain a hatred with those biases made.'
Something within them rattles them out of their cages.
There is a power that is conscious!
A power few can define.
And nevertheless this power felt,
Is a power 'Divine' no one can define.
'It is hard to contain a hatred with those biases made.'
Something within them rattles them out of their cages.
'It is hard to contain a hatred with those biases made.'
Something within them rattles them out of their cages.
Whatever is 'believed' to be behind faked walls,
Should be painstakenly reconsidered...
As a process of thorough and immediate investigation.
Darker currents appear to unnerve and disturb.
Coming as they do...
To shake up the doubters.
Hushing but not 'yet' to close those mouths...
Still habitually tossing their standards valued.
Still habitually tossing their way of life,
And lives of others they push around and about.
'It is hard to contain a hatred with those biases made.'
Whatever is 'believed' to be behind faked walls,
Should be painstakenly reconsidered...
As a process of thorough and immediate investigation.

To have a liberal temperament is a kind of psychological boon, To be able to understand that someone you disagree with is not just a terrible creature but somebody with whom you disagree.
The people to fear are not those who disagree with you, but those who disagree with you and are too cowardly to let you know.
Very Fine Love
(bob dipiero / jim photoglo)
I never knew how good love could be
All Id ever known was make believe
So many times Ive played the fool
Baby, til I met you
Now everything has fallen in place
You can tell by the smile on my face
For every lonely tear that Ive cried
Im that much satisfied
Weve got a fine, fine, very fine love
Weve got a fine, fine, very fine love
You know it when you find one
Shining like a diamond
Its so fine, fine, very fine love
How did I ever live without your love?
Its the only thing Im certain of
No matter what Im going through
I know I can count on you
You are more precious to me every day
Life is better now in every way
You dont have to lay the world at my feet
You have made my world complete
Weve got a fine, fine, very fine love, oh, oh
Weve got a fine, fine, very fine love
You know it when you find one
Shining like a diamond
Its so fine, so fine, very fine love
Ive got no apprehensions
Youve got the best intentions
Weve got a, weve got a, weve got a fine, fine, very fine love
Weve got a fine, fine, very fine love
A very fine
A very fine love
Very fine love, ah, ha, ooh, hoo
So fine, hey, so fine
So good, so good love

My goal is to strip things down so that you need just the right amount of words or shape to convey what you need to convey. I like editing. I like it very tight.
Life is larger than You and Me
Likes & dislikes, preference & biases
Mundanely worries or heavenly glee
Existance must be liberated and free
Life is much larger than you and me
We fall short to comprehend it
And say its not my cup of tea
Goals of ABC education, n Job XYZ
Fail its meaning, when u look back and see
coz life is much larger than you and me
The success of life is achievment and victory
status, a big name, pots of Gold and Money
Society issues ones Boom's decree
Tied all the way, but think you are free
Life is much larger than you and me
Say! blessed are the prosperous ones, I disagree
Worldly goals buy contentment, not guaranteed
feel joyed, when have peace internally
Your love, your children will complete this potpourri
So live as unbind not as abductee
Life is much larger than you and me

My Dear Lady
You who have the world at your feet
Sit there and tell me you feel so alone
Yet you give your advice so easily
And tell me this is my one and only home
Dear Lady I disagree with you
There are times you will act friendly
Other times you will be so cold inside
How you try to somehow scold me
With your stern voice and angry eyes
Dear Lady I disagree with you
You tell me that one day I'll learn
All my wild ways will lead me wrong
I stand there and shake my head so
Knowing you are more then wrong
Dear Lady I disagree with you

The Best Of Friends
Everything you do.
EVERYTHING,
You do...
Is fine with me.
As long as it is agreed,
Between you and me...
That outside of our comfort zones,
We are free to do exactly as we please.
Argue, debate and disagree.
How...
With an 'everness' attached,
In my space that you might grace with your presence...
A keeping of your mouth shut,
To avoid a difference of opinion that may disrupt my peace...
You see to it,
Remains your priority.
And what you do before you arrive 'if' invited,
Is perfectly fine with me.
In fact,
You have my undivided attention...
And complete approval,
If you accept what I say and allow that to happen!
When you are 'not' around me.
'I thought we were friends? '
Oh,
We are.
And I am hopeful we will stay that way.
The best of friends.

Mortification
How soon doth man decay!
When clothes are taken from a chest of sweets
To swaddle infants, whose young breath
Scarce knows the way;
Those clouts are little winding-sheets,
Which do consign and send them unto Death.
When boyes go first to bed,
They step into their voluntarie graves;
Sleep binds them fast; onely their breath
Makes them not dead:
Successive nights, like rolling waves,
Convey them quickly who are bound for Death.
When Youth is frank and free,
And calls for musick, while his veins do swell,
All day exchanging mirth and breath
In companie,
That musick summons to the knell
Which shall befriend him at the house of Death.
When man grows staid and wise,
Getting a house and home, where he may move
Within the circle of his breath,
Schooling his eyes,
That dumbe inclosure maketh love
Unto the coffin, that attends his death.
When Age grows low and weak,
Marking his grave, and thawing ev'ry year,
Till all do melt and drown his breath
When he would speak,
A chair or litter shows the biere
Which shall convey him to the house of Death.
Man, ere he is aware,
Hath put together a solemnitie,
And drest his hearse, while he has breath
As yet to spare;
Yet, Lord, instruct us so to die,
That all these dyings may be LIFE in DEATH.

Even though I disagree with many of the changes, when I see the privates graduate at the end of the day, when they walk off that drill field at the end of the ceremony, they are still fine privates; outstanding, well motivated privates.

Ok, Fine, Whatever
ok, you are fine,
and i am fine too,
ok you sit there
and look at me
i also sit here
i can also do
what you do,
ok, fine, you are fine
and i am fine too,
stare at me
and i stare at you
ok, fine,
i am tired,
ok, fine,
i am also one suffering soul,
ok fine,
i know, what to wait
ok fine,
i know what waiting time is
i dont like to wait
but i wait just the same
it has something to do
with what is due me
and when
it has something to do
with what is given
and what i must receive
and return
everything, not
a thing, i return everything
that is given,
ok, i am fine,
i wait, i think, i ponder, i reflect,
i have nothing
to say....my lips are sealed, i like
my mouth shut
i like my spirit silenced
i like it still here, i am not going anywhere.
regards to
God.

We Will Be Strong
Pity the fool
Its hard but he broke a rule
And that isnt done
Somehow, someday, brother will use a gun
Just walking the town
Just painting it sad
Its bringing me down
Its driving me mad
Woman is away from me
We will be strong, we will be strong
I know we have the strength to carry on
We have the strength
I know my rights from wrong
I know youve lost Ive won
We will be stronger
We will be strong
And getting stronger every day
Believe me when I say it
There is no other way to convey it
No other way you clown
Your thoughtfulness has brought us down
And that isnt right
That we should walk alone on the streets at night
Just checking the time
Walking that very fine line
The humour is black
The plan is attack
Now woman is away from me
But we will be strong
We will be strong, we will be strong
I know we have the strength to carry on
We have the strength
I know my rights from wrong
I know youve lost Ive won
We will be stronger
We will be strong
And getting stronger every day
Believe me when I say it
There is no other way to convey it
Down on your luck
The shock it has struck
The weak ones will die
The questions are why? why?
Does anybody hear?
Does anybody understand?
Let me make it clear
Nows the time to take a stand
Now woman is away from me
But we will make it strong
We will be strong, we will be strong
I know we have the strength to carry on
We have the strength
I know my rights from wrong
I know youve lost Ive won
We will be stronger
We will be strong
And getting stronger every day
Believe me when I say it
There is no other way to convey it
We will be strong
We will
We will be strong
We will be
We will be strong
