Can We Talk
Can I build up the courage to say hello
Instead of melting when you look at me...
I see you with your ex
& I must confess
that instead of you & her
I see you & me
& when you look me up & down
as I pass by slowly
from the corner of my eye
I see
If I could build up the courage to talk to you
Instead of her hugging you
It would be me

Coffee Courage
The bitter coffee kicked;
I shook and then I licked
My lips and gave a sigh.
Shattered eyes encouraged,
I nearly had envisaged
Waking up an eye.
Another sip; a jolt –
Not unlike a bolt
Of wattage from the mains.
My sockets under strain,
I tried it once again:
Aha! The light, the searing white –
My God, the bloody pain!

Sisters, O Sisters
-male chauvinist pig engineer, ha! ha!
-right on, sister!
We lost our green land, we lost our clean air,
We lost our true wisdom and we live in despair.
O sisters, o sisters, lets stand up right now,
Its never too late to start from the start.
O wisdom, o wisdom, thats what we ask for,
And, yes, my dear sisters, we must learn to ask.
Wisdom, o wisdom, thats what we ask for,
Thats what we live for no-oo-ow.
Wisdom, o wisdom, thats what we ask for,
Thats what we live for no-oo-ow.
O sisters, o sisters, lets wake up right now,
Its never too late to shout from our hearts.
O freedom, o freedom, thats what we fight for,
And, yes, my dear sisters, we must learn to fight.
Freedom, o freedom, thats what we ask for,
Thats what we live for no-oo-ow.
O freedom, o freedom, thats what we ask for,
Thats what we live for no-oo-ow.
O sisters, o sisters, lets give up no more,
Its never too late to build a new world.
O new world, o new world, thats what we live for,
And, yes, my dear sisters, we must learn to live.
New world, o new world, thats what we live for,
Thats what we must now learn to build.
O new world, o new world, thats what we live for,
Thats what we must now learn to build.
New world, o new world, thats what we live for,
Thats what we must now learn to build.
O new world, o new world, thats what we live for,
Thats what we must now learn to build.

A Little Courage...is All It Takes
I'm scared of taking chances,
i'm scared of taking risks,
but a little courage, is all it takes!
i'm afraid of making new friends, thinking they will hurt me, but a little courage is all it takes!
i'm scared of finding love, and get hurt inside, but a little courage is all it takes!
i'm terribly scared of loosing my friends, because they are all i have, all i need, all i ever wanted, all i ever dreamed of, but in this, i don't need courage, because i know that they will always be beside me! ! !
THANKS FRIENDS! !
(this poem is for my friends: Doha, Omar, Nathalie, Dina, Sara, Mohamed, Joseph, Ahmed, Nadine, farah, Alia, Cherifa, Noura, Hossam, Yassin...THANKS FOR BEING MY FRIENDS GUYS! ! !)

Tribute To Courage
Courage is doing what is right
Without having to be told
Courage is manning up
When you know you've done something wrong
Courage is looking the enemy in the eye
And telling them to just bring it
Courage is having fear
But still staying strong
Courage is facing adversity
But being able to overcome it
Courage is leaving your family behind
To defend the country you love
Courage is being a soldier
In the greatest army in the world
Thank you for this courage
That lets us live free
May God bless you
And come home safely to your families

Too Late
Have you heard about the hollow man?
Too frightened so he turned and ran, from the vision that he cherished so.
Couldnt see it, so he let it go.
Everybody has a secret sin.
But everybody needs a chance to win.
Anyone could see Im a man thats sad and broken by the things Ive done.
But now Im sorry that I said goodbye.
And Im sorry cause its me thats crying.
I never finished what I started to, but Im just so sorry that Im hurting you.
But its too late for us to just be friends.
And too late for anything but the end.
And too many dreams fell through our hands.
And its just too late to understand.
Now Ill never make a new beginning,
And Ill never stop the pain from winning.
Nothing matters to me anymore now.
Ive lost the things I was fighting for.
And now Im sorry that the dreams are gone,
And Im sorry cause Im not the
One who comes running when you need me so,
Cause Im the fool thats let you go.
But its too late for us to just be friends.
And too late for anything but the end.
And too many dreams fell through our hands.
And its just too late to understand.
All the tears of pain are falling down, (oh, oh, oh, oh).
All the tears of pain are falling down, and you know...
But its too late for us to just be friends.
And too late for anything but the end.
And too many dreams fell through our hands.
And its just too late to understand.
But its too late for us to just be friends.
And too late for anything but the end.
And too many dreams fell through our hands.
And its just too late to understand.
But its too late...too late...its too late...

Hope Is An Open Window
(christopher ward/tim tickner/diana ross)
Are we not more than hunger and music
Are we not more than harlequins and horns
Are we not more than color and drums
Are we not more than anger and dance
Give me courage so I can spread it over my face and mouth
Give me courage, give me courage
Give me courage, give me courage
I walk these city streets see the people there
Look into the eyes of quiet despair
And the faces tell a story that words never can
And it falls to everyone of us to try and understand
Out of kindness
One act of grace makes the world we walk a better place
Hope is an open window
Love an open door
To reach out for each other
Is what we came here for
Through an open window
We can see the way
If we hold on to each other, every day
We build walls of suspicion with bars of fears
Tell ourselves well be safe in here
I know more brings us together
Than keeps up apart
First we got to tear down these walls within our hearts
We might be strangers, we can be friends
You and I we both need to let somebody in
Hope is an open window
Love an open door
To reach out for each other
Is what we came here for
Through an open window
We can see the way
If we hold on to each other, every day
Give me courage so I can spread over my face and mouth
We are secret rivers with shaking hips and crests
Come awake in our thunder so that our eyes can see behind trees
Give me courage so I can spread over my face and mouth
Give me courage, give me courage
Give me courage, give me courage
Hope is an open window
Loves an open door
To reach out for each other
Is what we came here for
Through an open window
We can see the way
If we hold on to each other, every day
Hope is an open window
Love an open door
Gotta be there for each other
Is what we sent here for
Through an open window
We can find a way
To love one another
Hope is an open window
Love an open door

In Courage
In courage-you find
no fear
and in courage-no weakness
does appear
In courage-steps toward
danger taken
and in courage-strength
within awaken
In courage- a hero
takes shape
and in courage- the villain
can't escape
In courage-there is a call
to duty
and in courage-out of ugliness
comes beauty

What Gives You Courage
Without fear there cannot be courage
Fear drives the unthinkable out of us
What gives you courage when there is none?
What gives you courage to get out of bed?
What gives you courage to drive when you know it's dangerous?
What gives you courage to succeed?
What gives you courage to survive?
What gives you courage to strive?
People have courage to live for their children
People have courage to live for themselves
People have courage to live for hope
People have courage because they believe
People have courage to not give up
Fear is not the essence of life
But a free soul not tamed
Courage is the journey of your heart
Guided by strength
On a path of untamed obstacles
Let courage guide you
As you begin your quest

Armor Of Courage
Armor Of Courage
Strength is embedded
Accomplishment
Self-definition
Re-build inner protection
Against the tyranny of Horcruxes
One's inner shield
Armor Of Courage
Thick skin developed through time
Being tough is not always the answer
Leads to aggressive and disrespect
Rudeness is exposed
As life is not all about the portrayal of toughness
Tough on the outside
Yet weak on the inside
Armor Of Courage
One who confronted danger
In times of peril
Prevails all
Depicts true courage
20 Seconds of courage
20 seconds of courage is all we need to change the world. Maybe if we all had a little more courage the world would be a happier place.
20 seconds of courage is all we need to tell that someone what you feel for them
20 seconds of courage is all we need to have a happy life
20 seconds of courage is all we need to change the world.

Friends
Friends, you never realise just how important they are until they are gone.
They are like a glue that holds ones life together.
Everyone needs friends, everyone needs that group to which they belong.
They are the listeners who pay attention to your problems,
they are the mentors who give advice freely
Some of them are like family
They are the ones who know you like no other
They know your pains and worries
Friends can be either good or bad
Sometimes it's hard to destingish between the two.
The good friend who listens and cares
Or the bad friend who does not care and only stays with you because he knows he can
Friends can or break a person
They build you up
or they your world come crumbling down
Friends are important

Late Cat
Late to train
Late to bus
Late to class
And late to party;
She is everywhere a late cat!
Late to eat
Late to sleep
Late to fate
And late to luck;
She is for everything a late cat!
Late to clock
Late to block
Late to dash
Against the truck
And, lo! Even late to death;
She is always a late cat!

Now That I Know I Loved Him
Now that I know I loved him, Now when it is already too late! I'm sorry I didn't believe him, Now I don't see him by my side, I miss you, I understand how much I needed him. When he told me he loved me, Something that took so much courage to say, Something I don't have the courage to say! Why didn't I believe him? I am sorry, the friend I loved, Now that I have lost him! Now that I know I loved him.Its all too late! !

Strong Courage
My courage is STRONG
It is the strongest people have seen in a while
The kind you rarely see
My courage is when I stand up to people
My courage is when I tell the truth and not be afraid
My courage is when I help someone and put myself in danger to help
My courage is not being scared of a risky task
My courage is speaking my mind without any worries
My courage is STRONG

Together with the rest of the world, let us resolve to move forward from the beginnings we have made. Let us continue to bring down the walls of hostility which have divided the world for too long, and to build in their place bridges of understanding — so that despite profound differences between systems of government, the people of the world can be friends. Let us build a structure of peace in the world in which the weak are as safe as the strong — in which each respects the right of the other to live by a different system — in which those who would influence others will do so by the strength of their ideas, and not by the force of their arms. Let us accept that high responsibility not as a burden, but gladly — gladly because the chance to build such a peace is the noblest endeavor in which a nation can engage; gladly, also, because only if we act greatly in meeting our responsibilities abroad will we remain a great Nation, and only if we remain a great Nation will we act greatly in meeting our challenges at home.

Friends O' Mine
Well it was ugly but we made it this far
Some have gone but I forget who they are
Now the hangovers are worse but we get through em' fine
Sleeping late but we're no lazy
Getting older but we're still crazy
I'm so glad that I have these friends o' mine
It started out at a coffee shop in a most unlikely town
And there were casualties but we made it out anyhow
We stuck together through the good and bad times
Pulp Fiction, Blazing Saddles, and Fast Times
I'm so glad that I have these friends o' mine
[Guitar solo]
Jobs, girls, and obstacles did all but break us down
Night clubs and broken vans in every major town
And I've got your back; you've got mine
And Johnny Cash said I walk the line
And you can always count on me for one last beer
We saw the world and the world seemed smaller
We're getting wider but not getting no taller
I know we've grown up just a little at a time
We're sleeping late but we're not lazy
We're getting older but we're still crazy
I'm so glad that I have these friends o' mine
So glad that I have these friends o' mine
So glad that I have these friends of mine
