To make a difference is just... I think... the purpose of what life is.
Related quotes
I cannot believe that the purpose of life is (merely) to be happy. I think the purpose of life is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate. I think it is above all to matter, to count, to stand for something. To have it make some difference that you lived at all.

To Make A Difference!
take your finger from the trigger,
lay down your gun...
you have a chance to make a difference....
make the right choice!
lower your hand, soften your voice,
let go of your anger...
you have a chance to make a difference...
make the right choice!
put down your checkbook, close the register,
do something you really feel....
you have a chance to make a difference....
make the right choice!
throw out your pill bottle and your pipe,
stand up and face life....
you have a chance to make a difference...
make the right choice!
turn off your tv and your computer,
get involved with someone in need....
you have a chance to make a difference....
make the right choice!
lay down your judgements and your pride,
see people as just people....
you have a chance to make a difference....
make the right choice!

Indifference / Alive
I will light the match this mornin' so I won't be alone
Watch as she lies silent for soon that will be gone
Oh I will stand arms outstretched pretend I'm free to roam
I will make my way through one more day in hell
How much difference does it make
How much difference does it make
I will hold the candle till it burns up my arm
Oh I'll keep takin' punches ha-ha until their will grows tired
Oh I will stare the sun down until my eyes go blind
Hey I won't change direction and I won't change my mind
How much difference does it make yea
How much difference does it make how much difference
I'll swallow poison until I grow immune
I will scream my lungs out till it fills this room
How much difference (x2)
How much difference does it make yea
How much difference does it make

does it make difference you speak in front of many people or alone
does it make difference you speech in historic place or in your toilet
does it make difference you are charismatic leader or unknown beggar from streetside
it makes difference you speak to clash conflict or for better world
it makes difference you speech bonded by past or to move forward
it makes difference you depend by fact or just soap service
does it make difference you read from text or speak fluently
does it make difference you speech in busy market or deserted mountain
does it make difference you write words yourself or scrap it from books and paper
it makes difference everybody exitedly listens or sleeps peacefully on their seats
it makes difference you have freedom to speak or prisoned by intimidation
it makes difference it gives effect or just a long boring speech

Should This Make A Difference
Should it make a difference,
To the one accustomed to looking up...
As to who holds their head down?
To stop with a noticing of it...
Giving time to see what has been lost to be found?
Should it make a difference,
That people around talk 'to' each other...
With no eye contact that exists?
Should this make a difference,
To one who has already experienced this?
Should any of this make a difference,
To one who realizes their movements are not restricted...
On a top ten list of prioritized accomplishments,
Sought to do...
Since...
No one is aware of the persistence it takes,
To resist being disrespected with an accepted disregard.
Should this make a difference,
To one who has chosen to gaze at stars...
With dreams and wishes?
No.
The difference that is,
Has been decided and made.

With Perfect Relation
Life indeed is with purpose
Dog's life you think and suppose
What does it do? Eats only and barks
Yet the name attached with loyalty and sparks
Life can't be part time
It has purpose sometimes
Prove true to your conscious
Work steady but continuous
Life has mission
It may have many things for admission
For true confession
Yet it can not be called profession
Life is not practiced
It is promised
With noble act
The basic need in fact
It is gift from almighty
Let us make it as beauty
Beauty with difference
To live with in its presence
It can never be burden
As it may have many angles in shapes even
Sad, happiness and separation
To be enjoyed with perfect relation

Just One Girl
Now some guys,
they wanna run around.
Playin loose, playin fast,
out there in every town.
But this guy,
I'll be satisfied
with that certain kind o' look
in the corner of her eye.
I'm findin' my direction and I know what counts,
got my wild side just for one.
I'll give her my affection, never let her down
when the right girl comes along.
I don't ask much
from this big wide world.
Just wanna make a difference
to just one girl.
I don't care
how this whole plan works,
if I can make a difference in the life
of Just One Girl.
Now the last time
I was losing the race
for the biggest payoff
lookin' in the wrong place.
But this time,
now I know what I feel.
Got a handle on it.
Now I'm livin' it real.
There's been so many others,
so many empty nights.
That was never me anyway.
It was just a lonely boy
who was lookin for his life.
If you're out there
I'm here to say...
I don't ask much
from this big wide world.
Just wanna make a difference
to just one girl.
I don't care
how this whole plan works,
if I can make a difference in the life
of Just One Girl.
Here's hopin' that this message will find you.
Don't miss it, in a flash it may blind you.
I don't ask much,
don't wanna change the world.
I just wanna make a difference
to Just One Girl.
Hey!
I don't ask much
from this big wide world.
Just wanna make a difference
to just one girl.
I don't care
how this whole plan works,
if I can make a difference in the life
of Just One Girl.
Just One Girl.
Mm yeah.
If I can mak

Your Purpose of Living
The master of purpose does not
respect certificate or degree;
He only respect people
with purpose in life.
Purpose is the gate fee
to success land.
Purpose is your direction.
Purpose is an objective in life,
dream, and what you are here for.
You cannot move on in life
until you have discovered
your objectives in life,
which is your purpose of living.

What is the difference between....?
What is the difference between black and white?
What is the difference between day and night?
What is the difference between love and hate?
What is the difference between a woman and a mate?
The answers seem to be so easy
as the difference between to be free and to be busy.
But! Can you tell me the difference between a lie and a truth?
Can you tell me the difference between old age and youth?
Will you tell me the difference between a grant and a sob?
If you don’t know this difference you can flop.
I would like to know the difference between wrong and right,
I would like to know the difference between a war and a fight.
If you know the answers please, write.
It will be interesting to know your opinion,
And may be I will find it to be brilliant.

What A Difference Youve Made
What a difference youve made in my life.
What a difference youve made in my life.
Youre my sunshine day and night.
Oh, what a difference youve made
In my life.
What a change you have made in my heart.
What a change you have made in my heart.
You replaced all the broken parts.
Oh, what a change you have made
In my heart.
Love to me was just a word in a song
That had been way overused.
But you gave love a meaning,
So I joined in the singing,
Thats why I wanna spread the news.
What a difference youve made in my life.
What a difference youve made in my life.
Youre my sunshine day and night.
Oh, what a difference youve made,
(what a difference youve made,)
What a difference youve made in my life.
What a difference youve made in my life.
What a difference youve made in my life.
Youre my sunshine day and night.
What a difference youve made.
(what a difference youve made in my life.)
What a difference youve made in my life.
(what a difference youve made in my life.)
Difference youve made in my life.
(youre my sunshine day and night.)
What a difference youve made.
(what a difference youve made in my life.)
Difference youve made in my life.
(difference youve made in my life.)
Youre my sunshine day and night.
What a difference youve made.
(what a difference youve made in my life.)
Youve made a difference in me.
(what a difference youve made in my life.)
Youve made a change in my life.
Youre my sunshine day and night.

What's The Difference
I still feel pain
I still cry
Twenty -four hours
Make a day
What's the difference?
The nights so quiet
I still hear my heart beat
And when I hurt
I still bleed
What's the difference?
Six years I was sober
And the grass is still green
But now I smoke weed
Will it make me normal?
I can't tell
What's the difference?
There will be those
Who don't see it my way
And those who are prisoners
Of themselves
I can't tell
Are they normal, if not
What's the difference
I'm leaving soon
As scared as I came
And given some time
I'll have problems again
But this time around
I know
What the difference is

Would It Make A Difference
Would it make a difference
if we never spoke again
would it make a difference
if I were not your friend
now is the time to tell me
before everything goes
astray
would it make a difference
if golden threads began to
fray

Don't accept that you can't make a difference. Because if you can't make a difference, you won't make a difference, and if you put a multiplier on that we will continue on an unsustainable pathway.

Chaos, Order, Chaos, Beauty And Ugliness...
beauty must a purpose
have, for instance beauty that
gives peace and
harmony to the world,
presumably this world is a world of chaos,
and chaos is wanton
and understood to be messy and
undesirable, makes the mind
to lack the necessary focus
but what is focus for? what is thinking for?
again, you return to purpose
focus must have a purpose
and thinking must have another purpose
but what is the purpose of purpose?
seems that purpose is beauty
and that purpose without beauty is not desirable,
and so on and so forth,
people get so confused, they want order as though order itself is
beauty
as though it is one purpose that we need,
the universe must have an order
a system, every planet orbiting around the sun must have
a purpose
as though they are human beings like us
as though they are us
look at this poem, read it so well,
it has no purpose but to make you think
make you doubt
that perhaps beauty to be beauty must be wanton
and chaotic, which by itself is a reality
and reality is always
beautiful,
it has always a purpose and this is what you think it to be
right now, but is this really so?

You Brought The Sunshine
You made my day, you came my way
You heard me every, every time I prayed
You gave me peace, you gave me grace
You put a smile upon my face
Chorus:
You brought the sunshine (in my life)
You are the lifeline (saved my life)
Since then I have know Christ
There has been such a change in my life
You made my day, you came my way
You heard me every, every time I prayed
You gave me peace, you gave me grace
You put a smile upon my face
(chorus)
Jesus is the answer, breaks ever fetter
There's nothing impossible, nothing infallible
Nothing to hard for my God to work out
No matter what the problem
God can always solve 'em
Try Him today, He will brighten up your day
And He'll come your way, he will hear you when you pray
(chorus)
I'm a witness that Jesus will make a difference in your life
I'm a witness that Jesus will make a difference in your life
There's nothing impossible, nothing infallible
Nothing to hard for my God to work out
You brought the sunshine and you are the lifeline
You brought the sunshine and you are the lifeline
You brought the sunshine and you are the lifeline
You brought the sunshine and you are the lifeline
Amazing grace how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me
(I'm a witness that Jesus will make a difference in your life)
(I'm a witness that Jesus will make a difference in your life)
(I'm a witness that Jesus will make a difference in your life)
(I'm a witness that Jesus will make a difference in your life)
I once was lost but now I'm found
Was blind but now I see
You made, you made my day
You came, you came my way
You brought the sunshine in my life
and now I've got a joy divine
Your love it came and changed my day
And now I'm glad to go you way

We Got The
Who got the chance to make things right?
Why the politicians always want to fight?
The Christian coalition and the right wing ooooh!
Let me tell you what you can do
Step outside the cone of silence
Too much hatred and violence
It's time to rewind
We need a military decline
Got the power of the mind focused
Government like a locust
Are we gone or just going?
Time to act on what we be knowinh y'all
Who got the power to make a difference?
Who got the power to make a change?
Who got the power to make a difference?
We got the
We got the
We got the
Eyes on the prize and never wane
Take the bull by the reins
If you want it be the change
Like Ghandi and MLK
Wait up, got to change the system
Need knowledge, power and wisdom
Same way I rock this microphone
Speak up, just let it be known
Hey ladies, fellas
And everyone between
Take the power back, let them react
And let's show them what we mean; Check it out
Who got the power to make a difference?
Who got the power to make a change?
Who got the power to make a difference?
We got the
We got the
We got the
We can work, walk, march and protest
Think about how we approach this
Ask questions but they keep frontin'
Due time we change a little something
Hey yo don't you know
Won't forget Amaduous Diallo
To the crooked people and the crooked cops
Got to spread love before the world goes pop
Never again should we use the A-bomb
We need an international ban on
all W.O.M.D.'s gone
We need a multilateral disarm
Who got the power to make a difference?
Who got the power to make a change?
Who got the power to make a difference?
We got the
We got the
We got the

In this country, it doesn't make any difference where you were born. It doesn't make any difference who your parents were. It doesn't make any difference if, like me, you couldn't even speak English until you were in your twenties.

Both Make A Difference
I am alone; leave me alone
Both make a difference.
Love is ignored; love is withdrawn.
Both make a difference.
Desire is denied; desire dried.
Both make a difference.
The room bolted out; the room bolted in.
They make a difference.

You Smile!
When I Smile
It is like a bright day to come
When you smile
It is a joy to my heart to see you in such happiness
In other words Smiling reflects throughout my whole life
Smiles i say to you
Shows a very high self-esteem of someone
it expresses your emotions
Through one perfect simple smile
A smile can make a difference
Also it can shine a light in a person`s life
Your the beautiful smile
When im sad you make me smile
Everytime im down you lift me up
Your smile turn my frown upside down
With just one smile
it can make a big difference
ESPECIALLY TO ME!
You Smile...

We Can
They'll try to stop the dream we're dreamin'
But they can't stop us from believing
They will fill your head with doubt
But that won't stop us now
So let them say we can't do it
Put up a road block
We'll just run right through it.. Cause...
We can, do the impossible
We have the power in our hands
And we won't stop 'cause we've got
To make a difference in this life
With one voice, one heart, two hands, we can
They say the odds are stacked against us
But that can't hold us back, we will be relentless
There's a voice they're gonna hear
A voice so loud and clear
So let them say we can't do it, give us a mountain,
and we're gonna move it.. cause..
We can, do the impossible
We have the power in our hands, and we won't stop
Cause we've got to make a difference in this life
With one voice, one heart, Two hands, we can
We're gonna make a change today (make a change today)
Because we've got the faith it takes
To win this race, so let them say we can't do it
Put up a road block
And we'll just run right through it cuz..
We can, do the impossible
We have the power in our hands and we won't stop
Cos we've got to make a difference in this life
With one voice, one heart Two hands, we can
I can (oh I can)
Do the impossible (do the impossible)
I have the power in my hands, and I won't stop
Cause I've got to make a difference in this life
With my one voice, one heart, two hands, we can
