The real problem today is the ineffective and inconsistent oversight of professional boxing, which has led to continuing scandals, controversies, unethical practices, and unnecessary injuries and deaths in the sport.

Today, many fans are saddened and upset by the lack of integrity they see in professional boxing that has significantly weakened the sport - the most deplorable problem of which is the treatment of the sport's athletes.

Types of injuries
Injuries from the sports sooth.
Injuries from the assaults loom.
Your sufferings are inconsistent
With the effects but the causes.

Boxing or Football?
What's your favourite sport Kevin?
as you like Boxing and Football
well they're both exciting to me
so that's a hard one to call.
Boxing is a very tough sport
a mixture of brawn and skill
two boxers standing toe to toe
both with the power to kill.
Football is full of passion
the worlds greatest team game
no other comes anywhere near
Cricket is slow boring and tame.
Boxing is not for the faint hearted
you have to be tough and very fit
take punches to the head and body
and bob and weave and avoid getting hit.
Football is played the world over
on the streets and over the park
children kick a ball for hours
in the rain and in the dark.
So if I have to make a choice
Football has to be the sport for me
you get great goals and action
and a packed ground is the place to be.
But Boxing comes a close second
Ali, Tyson, Rocky Marciano, were the best,
beating opponents with skill and guts
but so much better than all the rest.
This question was recently put to me and was hard to answer.

The problem was with Bill Clinton, the scandals and rumored scandals, the incubating ones and the dying ones never ended. Whatever moral compass the president was consulting was leading him in the wrong direction. His closets were full of skeletons just waiting to burst out.

I like boxing movies. One of the hardest things for me to watch as far as boxing films, is the boxing. The actual boxing usually sucks.
Professional Ethics
I wonder how a doctor dares to steal
The patient visiting a hospital,
Redirecting him to private clinics –
Most unethical thing for one to do!
I wonder how engineers try to steal
From project’s sum or get fat commissions
By procuring what is less durable –
Most unethical thing for one to do!
I wonder how a lawyer trys to fleece
By charging client exorbitant fees,
And tilt the balance of justice somehow –
Most unethical thing for one to do!
I wonder how politician tells lies
As fluent as his speech so magical,
And cheats the voters who gave him mandate –
Most unethical thing for one to do!
I wonder how teachers can fail to teach
The pupils, who are like their own children,
And punish them in inhuman a way –
Most unethical thing for one to do!
I wonder how bureaucrats make delays,
And alter statistics in ‘flawless’ ways,
Ignoring conscience and standing rules –
Most unethical thing for one to do!
Ethics is there for any profession;
No one can fail to ignore them in life;
‘Nobility of professions’ at stake’ –
Remember this and do your duty well.

Who Practices Abstinence
There's always talk about...
The getting of sex.
There's always talk about...
An innocence to protect.
And there's always talk about...
What children will do next,
If they don't ignore temptation...
And practice abstinence.
Who practices abstinence...
When the meaning's lean on doing.
And who practices abstinence...
When we're marketed to be teased,
To please...
The senses,
With a pleasure to release.
Who practices abstinence.
Who practices abstinence.
There's always talk about...
The getting of sex.
Yet...
Who practices abstinence.
Yet who practices abstinence.
There's always talk about...
An innocence to protect.
Yet...
Who practices abstinence.
Yet who practices abstinence.
When the meaning's lean on doing.
And who practices abstinence...
When we're marketed to be teased,
To please...
The senses,
With a pleasure to release.
Who practices abstinence.
Who practices abstinence.
Who practices abstinence.
Who practices abstinence.

From Bad To Worse
Opiate drugs once were sold on city streets
Pushed by people living “Outside the law”
Today prescription drugs the law defeats
Big-Pharma profits and crooks withdraw
ROTMS
Source: Natural News
“When most people hear reports about illicit drug use at work, they probably assume they are talking about things like marijuana and cocaine. But a new report shows that most of today's workers and job applicants have ditched the street drugs and now take prescription pain pills instead - and these pills are causing more accident-related injuries and deaths than ever.
It used to be that drug users hit the streets to get their drug of choice. But today, getting high is as easy as hitting up your local pharmacy. According to a new report by Quest Diagnostics Inc., a Madison, Wisconsin-based diagnostic testing company, prescription opiate use among American workers and job applicants has increased by 40 percent since 2005, and is only continuing to rise.
Prescription opiates like hydrocodone, oxycodone and hydromorphone, are among the most commonly abused opiate drugs, and they can be relatively easy to obtain. But these drugs are very similar in nature to cocaine and can cause the same problems, including severe injuries that require emergency hospitalization, and even death.
'Because more U.S. workers are performing their duties while taking prescription opiates, employers, particularly those with safety-sensitive workers, should note this trend and take appropriate steps to ensure worker and public safety, ' said Dr. Barry Sample, director of science and technology at Quest, in a statement regarding the study.
Though cocaine use dropped nearly 30 percent between 2008 and 2009, prescription opiate use made up for the difference. And between 2004 and 2008, emergency room visits increased by more than 110 percent as a result, indicating that just because the prescription drugs are legal does not mean they are safe.”

Continuing...............
Limitations are not for people for whom life is a continuing quest.
Boundaries are not for people for whom life is a continuing exploration.
Destinations are not for people for whom life is a continuing journey.
Harbours are not for people for whom life is a continuing sail.
Accomplishments are not for people for whom life is a continuing
Leisure is not for those who are always indulged in work.

Boxing, for me, it's the beginning of all sports. I'm willing to bet that the first sport was a man against another man in a fight, so I think that's something innate in all of us.
