Abused as we abuse it at present, dramatic art is in no sense cathartic it is merely a form of emotional masturbation. It is the rarest thing to find a player who has not had his character affected for the worse by the practice of his profession. Nobody can make a habit of self-exhibition, nobody can exploit his personality for the sake of exercising a kind of hypnotic power over others, and remain untouched by the process.

There Is Nothing Wrong With Power
'Tis sad to think that many with power abuse it those with power who abuse it weak not strong
There is nothing wrong with having power in the first place it is the abuse of it that is all wrong
For the abuse of power leads to serious crimes against the powerless though power in good hands it is quite okay
And good people with power never do abuse it they use it in the most constructive way
Some people with power are quite benign people and philanthropic one of them can say
But those who abuse their power to the law may never answer though to karma there's a price they have to pay
The abuse of power leads to dictatorial regimes that leads to serious crimes against humanity
In the despicable crimes against women and children the wrongs of power gone wrong for all to see
The people who abuse their power should never have it though to their power they desperately do cling
Power in the right hands an adavantage to others and power in the wrong hands is a dangerous thing
There is nothing wrong with power from once 'tis used well but some with power they do abuse their rule
And some with power they can become quite nasty and derive pleasure out of being cruel
But power in the right hands can be a blessing and kind people with power their praise we ought sing
Since they have the gift of empathy within them and happiness to others they do bring.

The true and best way of learning any Art, is not to see a great many Examples done by another Person, but to possess ones seIf first of the Principles of it, and then to make them familiar, by exercising ones self in the Practice. For it is Practice alone, that makes a Man perfect in any thing.

Character
The character
Of a man is
Known by
What he does
To you…
When you are
Weak and downtrodden
Does he uplift you?
Does he exploit you?
Upliftment may be
Mental, emotional
Physical or financial
Exploitation may
Also be the same
If you are able to answer
How he treats you…
You'll be able to decipher
What his character shows
You

I found strengths in every character that I’ve played. Even if it is a vulnerable person or someone who’s easily manipulated, there are strengths to every personality. Even if I wasn’t looking for a girl power kind of role, maintaining integrity in a character is a positive thing for women to see. It’s inspiring for women of all ages.

myth and abuse...by Talile Ali
we all are human
what is the use
all are victims
of myth and abuse
humans like to mess around
we don't think we're sluts
only when it's women,
then we soil all they touch
add to that the reality of
old men with young girls together
we accept it like that as lust and love
older women and young boys together
we see as cougars out slumming with thugs
myth and abuse
myth and abuse
so much insanity
based on lies and misuse
myth and abuse
myth and abuse
the bible or the Koran
to abuse our needs, such a ruse
so if you feel you
have a right to mess around and feed
cause your better half is dead
or even worse won't address your needs
no matter what the gender
be you male or female
you got to be yourself
and know you got to get nailed
we need to put an end
to all of this senseless abuse
we can shut down this game
and help each other to see the truth
we find love where it is
and thats just a fact
so long as they are adults
and mature, not just an act
end the myth and abuse
by being thoughtful and secure
and not deceiving each other
just to manipulate and procure
it ain't that kind of thing
we all like good lovin
it just needs to be said
to the other, not druggin
keep tryin every day
keep tryin every way
the thing that will help you the most
is being honest, today.
OK?

I get to actually experience what it would be like to be a psycho, which is not a fun one, or to be a cowboy, or to be a weird character of some sort. For me, it suits me. It suits my personality. I'm an emotional kind of person anyway.

To Have Power Over Others
To have power over others is something one does not need
For tis only by good example that one can ever lead
And many with power over others their power they do abuse
And for those who abuse others there cannot be an excuse.
If you wish to be a leader some sort of form of power you crave
And what it takes to be a great leader is to be understanding kind and brave
But leaders with such qualities to say the least seem rare
To some very ordinary people they do favourably compare.
For to have power over others a good person does not desire
And many power hungry people are those we should not admire
Power over others and personal power are different from night and day
We all do need some personal power for to serve survival's way.
To have power over others is something one can do without
And on those who desire such powers one has to cast some doubt
They seem to be control freaks with darkness of the soul
The lives of other people they do need to control.

Mistake familiar for normal
If you where emotional and or sexually abused as a child you are vulnerable to others with similar or the same issues as your abuser. As adults we all have lapses of judgment, but are feelings protect us, they warn us that something is wrong, but if you where abused you mistake familiar for normal, and your inner normal needs heeling from the abuse, from the betrayal.

This Thing Known As Power
This thing known as power is an addictive thing
And those who do have it to it try to cling
Abuse of power we do read of and hear of every day
Not all who have power use it in a good way
Dictators use the power that they have to suppress
And where Dictators rule you won't find happiness
They cling to their power by the medium of fear
Only of crimes against Humanity of their oppressive regimes we do hear
Power used in a good way happiness does create
And those who use their power for the good we ought to celebrate
Benevolent people with great power are becoming more rare
But blessed are those who for others do care
That philanthropic people are not many does seem sad to say
And of abuse of power we do read of and hear of every day.

I brought my personality and sense of wonder and I think they wrote as much of my personality as they could. I do not go around kicking butt and saving the universe all the time but they tried to capture me as best as they could in the character.

There's nothing worse - I don't like listening to actors talk about the process, especially when - I mean, for me I've played a lot of guys, dudes, boys in a sense and this was a challenge for me just to play that official character.

Equality
Everybody wants to feel happy, even if you think that you dont
Everyone wants to know the secret, even if you think that you dont
Everybody thinks theyre different from the next man now
But we just got to realize were just the same
Always appear to be someone better
You know there will always appear to be someone worse
You know therell always appear to be someone better
You know therell always appear to be someone worse, oh
Everyone has got their character
Everyone has got their personality
But the longing is still the same
So what is the answer by easy on yourself
Make yourself feel at ease maybe thats the answer
Always appear to be someone better
You know there will always appear to be someone worse
Always appear to be someone better
You know therell always appear to be someone worse, oh
Were just the same dont you know
Were just the same dont you know
Looking over there
He looks different, she looks different
They might even be different
But were just the same, dont you know
Were just the same, dont you know
Were just the same

Somebody Slipped Some Crack In Your Soup
That 'you'...
Are suddenly interested,
Of how I am affected...
By the state of the present economy,
Makes me highly suspicious.
How are you benefitting,
From this turn around of events?
By what other process can you use,
To make me thoroughly convinced?
Since there is nothing in your past,
That has brought your concerns...
To appear out of breath on my path.
That 'you'...
Are suddenly interested,
Of how I am affected...
By the state of the present economy,
Makes me highly suspicious.
Are you sure your activity is based on sincerity?
Or...
Are you here because you fear,
There are few spots left for you in heaven?
Which is it?
Because...
I suspect somebody slipped some crack in your soup!
And pointed you to move in my direction,
For thrills and kicks.
And they are loving every bit of this.

Emotional Abuse
When you are young a parent's scorn
Can make you wish you'd never been born,
And as you grow you're sure to find
Their lack of love has damaged your mind.
What have they done? There's no excuse
For inflicting this kind of emotional abuse!
And yet they'll say they're not to blame,
It's just some kind of psychological game,
You're doing it to get attention
And your 'illness' is the doctor's invention!
Don't let them have the satisfaction
Of blaming it on a 'chemical reaction',
They've got to admit that they were wrong
And you have suffered far too long.
Where will you find a lasting cure?
Not in psychiatry for sure,
In endless talk and ECT
And chemical lobotomy! !

We Have A Tendency To Ridicule And Attack One Another Harshly On The Deepest Levels
We have a tendency to ridicule and attack one another harshly on the deepest levels, really calumniate to destroy one other emotionally, morally, personally. This reflects the emotional ignorance, lack of understanding and emotional respect we where subjected to, often unintentionally, as children as infants, as newborns, it gets played out in all sorts of elaborate fashions but in essence it is the results of our hurt minds, emotions, feelings and soul.
How do you respond in a healing manner to others that are important to you that are marooned on such emotionally stunted levels that hold such limiting, painfully restricting views? You do not go down to their level, nor do you pretend that the gravity of their mindset is not toxic. You go on with your life, as you do you might occasionally invite them to meet you on higher grounds but do not engage in battles on lower levels. You lose your self and power that way. You gain self and strength when you have the space to engage live freely, meaningfully that only comes when you do not restrict your self to battles on lower levels. You healing these who are receptive to heal, in time others will find their own way if the choose to let go of the unfulfilling ways they are exercising on lower levels, mind sets, when such individuals stop using control for control sake. If out of stubbornness they wish to remain immature, that is their choice, you do not have to destroy your self, hurt your self in engaging with them, by connecting with them, in trying to save them if they do not want to move.
