My favorite holiday spot has to be New York, on the St. Lawrence River. Without a doubt that area there is perfect for me. Very, very spacious. It's nice.

The Painful Irony Of Ironic Pain
I'm sad today
Sad today
Oh, so very sad today
And yes
I'll tell you why
You see
I had one spot
One small area
One last portion of my body
That didn't HURT!
Well
It started hurting today
It simply started as a twinge
An inconveniance really
Then it just began to ache
And then to throb
Now it's unbearable
On a scale of one to ten, with ten being the worst pain I've ever felt, it is now a ten
The last painfree spot on my body is now a painful ten!
So I'm sad
I was saving that spot.
It was my favorite area.
Not any more
Now, my whole body hurts
And what really makes matters worse it that,
Today
Is my
Birthday!

My Daddy The Kern River And Me
When I was just a little girl
My daddy said it's time
To show you where I go to think
on a favorite river of mine.
But first you have to promise me
that no one else will know
Where this secret place is
Where nobody else goes.
We stood upon a rock that lies
just over the roaring white waters.
That's so very hard to get to and
that's why no others bother.
The river, called The Kern River has
always been our favorite spot
To go and think, and enjoy the peace
And we went there quite alot.
Some day I hope to go back to the
river where daddy took me.
And stand upon that same old rock
and dream of how things use to be.
The Kern River holds a memory of
the first man I ever loved.
And now I've found another man that
I am sure was sent from above.
I LOVE YOU DADDY

Holiday
Well the super models in those magazines
They've been to places that I've never dreamed
Well they look so nice out on some sandy beach
But for me I've always found it out of reach
Ooooooooo take me on a holiday
Ooooooooo I need a holiday
The hotel and life for me would be alright
We could always catch an early mornin' flight
As you treat yourself like in a movie scene
But its just another place I've never been
Ooooooooo take me on a holiday
Ooooooooo I need a holiday
I call you up on your telephone
And leave a message there since your not home
I've got to go I've got to get away
Please come and take me on a holiday
Ooooooooo take me on a holiday
Last nite I dreamed I was in Sante Fe
And then went on a flight to San Jose
Well I know that you don't really like to fly
But to see the world maybe you'd like to try
Ooooooooo take me on a holiday
Ooooooooo I need a holiday
Ooooooooo take me on a holiday
Need a holiday

Perfect Part 2
I don’t need perfect cloth
I don’t need perfect hair
What I need is a confidence
I don’t need perfect score
I don’t need perfect job
What I need is a support
I don’t need perfect word
I don’t need perfect dream
What I need is a chance
I don’t need perfect agreement
I don’t need perfect control
What I need is a solution
I don’t need perfect holiday
I don’t need perfect memories
What I need is a peace of mind
I don’t need perfect home

Pleasant Thoughts
A holiday, a holiday,
a real chance to get away.
To catch a plane, a boat, a train,
or cruise on down the inside lane.
With different views and how-do-you-dos,
and many interesting venues.
A holiday, a holiday.
Having found a place to stay,
enjoy the sights that greet the eyes,
sea, sun and sand with clear blue skies.
All of these things can so make your break,
a time to rest and ruminate.
A holiday, a holiday,
well inland, or out in a bay.
Sail a yacht maybe. Play a spot
of golf. Then if it gets too hot,
rest beside a pool. And to cool down,
take a dip, or turn a glowing brown.
A holiday, a holiday.
Book it right now with no delay.
Choose somewhere you would like to be,
locations for serenity,
siestas out under the stars,
or ones for fun and noise in bars.
A holiday, a holiday.
There’s something that I want to say.
Have a really long super spell,
of relaxation. One can dwell
on pleasant thoughts. Troubles to quell.
Revival of body and mind,
rejuvenating humankind.

Holiday Celebrate
Written by toni braxton, keri lewis, tamar braxton
Im sitting and waiting for you
cause you said youre on your way
Im so excited cause this is my favorite holiday
(gifts are under the tree, dinner for you
And me, how special it will be)
cause you and I are here...
(make all your favorite treats,
So glad that it will be)
You and me on this christmas holiday...
Holiday, celebrate, making out with my babe
Holiday, in the snow, kissing under mistletoe...
Im thinking about all the things we can do
When I see you tonight
Im so excited cause everybodys here,
So lets dance all night...
(well be counting down to two, crystal for me
And you, thats what we came to do)
We came to have some fun
(joy and laughters in the air,
So glad that we can share)
You and me on this christmas day...
Chorus
All of the things Im gonna do
Celebrating with you, baby
All of the things Im gonna do
When were alone, oh, baby...
Were gonna
Go insane, dance in snowy rain,
Even drink champagne
Baby, I cant wait to be alone and celebrate

New York Times
New york poor new york
New york poor new york
Cars choking your child to death
But you dont wanna see
Cause you only think about yourself
How blind can you be
New york poor new york
Sniper on the rooftop new york
New york poor new york
Not fit for a dog in new york
Everybody bites on the big apple
Leave the hungry in tears
But no one gives a damn no one really cares
How they feel theyre just paper people not real
You need a gun to walk into new york
Now youre broke and youre out on a ledge
Who can help you this time
Now youre down to your very last cent
Still youre askin me who was your friend
I was your friend
New york poor new york
Who turned the lights out in new york
New york poor new york
Just another blackout in new york
Girl dead on the 26th floor
But no one knew her name
Found her body behind the door
Too young for the game
New york poor new york
Devils in the subway new york
New york poor new york
New york poor new york
Talkin talkin talkin - watch out
Harlem touching midtown new york
New york poor new york
Talkin bout new york new york
Moneys getting tighter new york
Theyre burning the bridges to new york

But now, today, we don't know if Over the River is truly the next project to be realized, because something very nice happened to our life in November in New York.
I did have a big following in the upper New York area. I was at the New York State Fair a few times over the years. I have areas that I say are my areas.

My Perfect Sister
MY PERFECT SISTER
My perfect sister holds me tight
My perfect sister kisses me goodnight
My perfect sister knows when I’m mad
My perfect sister helps me when I’m sad
My perfect sister is so smart
My perfect sister has my heart
My perfect sister is good and nice
My perfect sister holds me at night
My perfect sister loves me lots
My perfect sister ties the knot
My perfect sister is here to stay
My perfect sister I have until this very day
My perfect sister I wish you well
My perfect sister yes I can tell
My perfect sister asked if I lied
My perfect sister knows if I’ve cried
My perfect sister has moved away
->My perfect sister is in my heart to and will always stay

In My Area
I am in my area
There is nothing to dispute.
I am in my area
I can do whatever I like
Openly and in mute.
I am in my area
It is open and simple
I am in my area
I am in peace and stable.
Please do not grumble.

Autumn In New York
Vernon duke
Its time to end my holiday and bid the country a hasty farewell.
So on this gray and melancholy day, Ill move to a manhattan hotel.
Ill dispose of my rose-colored chattels and prepare for my share of adventures and battles,
Here on the twenty-seventh floor looking down on the city I hate and adore!
Autumn in new york, why does it seem so inviting?
Autumn in new york, it spells the thrill of first-nighting.
Glittering crowds and shimmering clouds in canyons of steel; theyre making me feel Im home.
Its autumn in new york that brings the promise of new love. autumn in new
York is often mingled with pain.
Dreamers with empty hands may sigh for exotic lands;
Its autumn in new york;
Its good to live again.

Shes Every Woman
Shes sun and rain, shes fire and ice
A little crazy but its nice
And when she gets mad, you best leave her alone
cause shell rage just like a river
Then shell beg you to forgive her
Shes every woman that Ive ever known.
Shes so new york and then l.a.
And every town along the way
Shes every place that Ive never been
Shes makin love on rainy nights
Shes a stroll through christmas lights
And shes everything I want to do again.
It needs no explanation
cause it all makes perfect sense
For when it comes down to temptation
Shes on both sides of the fence.
No it needs no explanation
cause it all makes perfect sense
When it comes down to temptation
Shes on both sides of the fence.
Shes anything but typical
Shes so unpredictable
Oh but even at her worst it aint that bad
Shes as real as real can be
And shes every fantasy
Lord shes every lover that Ive ever had
And shes every lover that Ive never had

I Better Be Good
If I ain't cool
My daddy gonna send me
To Military School
If I ain't nice
My girlie gonna freeze me
With cold shoulder ice
If I'm real late
My teacher gonna use me
For alligator bait
So, I better be good
I better be good
If I jump on the gas
The cops are gonna jump
All over my back
If I smoke too much
Doctor says he's gonna
Put my lungs in a crutch
If I'm caught without my pants
Consuelo's dad is gonna shoot
Until he sees me dance
So, I better be good
I had better be good
You better be nice
You better be nice
You better be nice
You better be nice
Nice, nice, nice - you better be
Nice, nice, nice - you better be
Nice, nice, nice - Uh, uh, uh, uh
Nice, nice, nice
Nice, nice, nice
Nice, nice, nice
You better be nice tonight
If I spray it on the seat
Lady gonna tie a big knot
In the meat
If I spewey too fast
Lover's gonna stick
My Wrangler in a cast
If zipper grabs skin
I'll know I had it out
When I shoulda kept it in
Ow.
I better be good
I better be good
I better be good
Ooh.
You better be nice
You better be nice
You better be nice
You better be nice
Nice, nice, nice - you better be
Nice, nice, nice - you better be
Nice, nice, nice - Uh, uh, uh, uh
Nice, nice, nice
I'd better be nice tonight - yeah
Nice, nice, nice
Nice, nice, nice
Nice, nice, nice

Memorial Day
I know there will be many,
Expressing their thanks and gratitude...
On this, a holiday
To those they once knew,
Who were in their lives...
Doing the best they could do,
To show and proved to others...
How much they loved them too.
I just know...
Those preparing their Memorial Day,
Planning family bar-be-cues...
And spicing their favorite drinks,
With assorted purchased booze...
Relaxing in the Sun and enjoying fun.
'Someone'...
Will be expressing their blessings.

My Favorite Girl
My favorite girl, oh, shes my favorite girl, dont you know,
My favorite girl, oh, shes my favorite girl.
You walked into my life, your love was so new,
And nothing will ever change my feelings for you,
Well, you were so far away, now I am close to you, girl,
So let us run away, our heart thats waiting will stay.
My favorite...
Theres so much I like in you I cant go on,
I wanted a girl like you Ive looked so long,
Girl, nothing will make us wrong, I know our love is too strong,
Lets leave the rest behind, our dreams ask what we will find.
My favorite...
My favorite...
(rap:) shes my favorite girl, the one Im always thinking of, that one.
(rap:) my favorite girl, the one I love.
My favorite... (repeat & fade ad lib)
