Unless you have a perception of who you are as a lawyer, you will never be at ease in dealing with legal matters, clients, or courts. But if you know who you are and why you're there, all you need is the expertise and the information.

Lawyer's Paradise

Some times law is very confusing
System of courts is quite amusing,
The cases are not disposed off fast
So significance of the justice is lost.

One or for other reason day after day
Months and years, cases are delayed.
Justice seekers wait long in the process
Pay for being victim of the dilatoriness.

Lawyers get adjournment every time
And charge to their clients per diem.
Some times to harass the opposition
Take adjournment for flimsy reason.

Many clients are poor and uneducated
Pay for justice and wait time unlimited.
The client suffers by adjournment practice
And unfortunately fall victim to injustice.

Some lawyers are habitual of adjournment
Some Continue meaningless argument;
For each adjournment client has to pay
Lawyer extract money, clients face delay.

Courts which do not timely decide
Are the places of lawyers paradise.

Nothing Even Matters

Now the skies could fall
Not even if my boss should call
The world it seems so very small
'Cause nothing even matters at all

Nothing even matters
Nothing even matters at all
Nothing even matters
Nothing even matters at all

See I don't need no alcohol
Your love makes me feel ten feet tall
Without it I'd go through withdrawal
'Cause nothing even matters at all

Nothing even matters
Nothing even matters at all
Nothing even matters
Nothing even matters at all

These buildings could drift out to sea
Some natural catastrophe
Still there's no place I'd rather be
'Cause nothing even matters to me

Nothing even matters
Nothing even matters to me
Nothing even matters
Nothing even matters to me

You're part of my identity
I sometimes have the tendency
To look at you religiously
'Cause nothing even matters to me

Nothing even matters
Nothing even matters to me
Nothing even matters
Nothing even matters to me

Now you won't find me at no store
I have no time for manicures
With you it's never either or
'Cause nothing even matters no more

Nothing even matters
Nothing even matters no more
Nothing even matters
Nothing even matters no more

Now my team could score
And make it to the Final Four
Just repossess my 4x4
'Cause nothing even matters no more

Nothing even matters
Nothing even matters no more
Nothing even matters
Nothing even matters no more

Trudeau's Chater Again Mar 19th,2011

Can we ban illegal immigrant refugee claimants in this land?
They can go to court with their claims for remand after remand,
As they claim their Charter Rights thanks to Pierre Trudeau,
It goes to show back then, how much we really didn’t know.

And if they are also terrorists, then that’s too bad,
The Charter was written for “EVERYONE” which could be sad,
All they have to do is make it to Canada and they’re home free,
Then onto politically correct Supreme Court appointees.

Soft courts making softer immigration Charter decisions
Like the abortion clinics and there are no legal revisions,
As some do-good legal-aid lawyer stands up and make a case,
It’s politically correct though it’s a national disgrace.

A wizard cannot do everything; a fact most magicians are reticent to admit, let alone discuss with prospective clients. Still, the fact remains that there are certain objects, and people, that are, for one reason or another, completely immune to any direct magical spell. It is for this group of beings that the magician learns the subtleties of using indirect spells. It also does no harm, in dealing with these matters, to carry a large club near your person at all times.

Soft Court System Oct 9th,2012

Our soft courts seem to bend over backwards giving criminals a break,
Giving bail or house arrest as though the public was not awake,
Because some legal-aid lawyer might want more Charter rights,
Though the terrorist criminal might like being involved in knife fights.

Therefore we need compulsory sentences laid down by law,
Not wishy-washy pompous judges with a soft paw,
And mandatory minimum time inside for vicious crimes,
Added time for each criminal crime each and every time.

And the Charter of Right should not influence a court decision,
The reason our courts are so soft with all the indecision,
And no publicity bans allowed for some strange reason,
We live in a democracy so therefore no secret season.

Is There A Legal Ground

Is there a legal ground?
One can stand on to feel safe and sound.
Is there a legal ground?
One that can be found that's not shaking around.
Is there a legal ground?

One that is near,
Not to be feared...
And if one should fall,
A solidness is clear!

Is there a legal ground?
Anywhere.
One understood.
One that is shared.
Is there a legal ground?

One that is cemented...
Making feelings of it different,
With a jumping up and down...
Packing heavy weighted pounds.
Is there a legal ground?
Around...
To be found!
Is there a legal ground?

Around...
To be found.
Is there a legal ground?

Around...
To be found.
Is there a legal ground?

Just deserts

I’ve killed before and will again.
I kill for justice not for gain

So many criminals go free
because of their ability.

To hire a lawyer who will try
To make the truth appear a lie

So they escape just punishment.
Although it is self evident

That crafty legal argument
based on some ancient precedent

The merest technicality
persuades the judge to set them free

I’m not constrained by petty rules
and those that are I see as fools

I pursue justice ceaselessly
and do my duty faithfully

And those I deem deserve to die.
The punishment that I apply.

Is merely justice long delayed
I play the part that I have played.

That of the executioner
Or murderer if you prefer.

For many years without remorse
And I will carry on of course.

I’ve killed before and will again
As long as criminals obtain.

Immunity they don’t deserve
a fact I frequently observe.

In courts of law. Guilty men go free.
Blind justice can depend on me.

To disregard such foolishness
I am completely pitiless.

Though self appointed I redress
injustice with some small success.

I operate in secrecy
It is a prime necessity.

You do not need to know my name
I have no wish for worldly fame.

I take my duties seriously.
and that’s reward enough for me.

I rectify the courts mistakes
a little thought is all it takes.

Each guilty man the courts set free.
I’ll execute eventually.

But I must make it crystal clear
that innocents have naught to fear.

I only punish guilty men
before they can offend again.

Prevention is better than cure
I see no reason to endure.

Acquittals earned by lawyer’s lies.
I think a higher law applies.

If you transgress then you must pay.
There’s nothing more I need to say. http: //blog.myspace.com.poeticpiers

Disaster In A Halo

Lately I've been thinking about what you said
Time is growing old and I'm getting colder
Hunger's just a pain that won't be fed
I'll be working for the ghost until I'm dead and done
Over and done, over
Disaster in a halo
Nothing even matters
Nothing even matters
Nothing even matters
Nothing even matters
Nothing even matters
Nothing even matters
Somewhere there's a girl with thoughts of him
She makes wishes in a well then fears them caving in on her, around, on her
Disaster in a halo
Nothing even matters
Nothing even matters
Nothing even matters
Nothing even matters
Nothing even matters
Nothing even matters
Cause in the well plans will come and plans will go undone
I know, I know
And you can't tell, I will come and I will do I know, I know
But why would I?
But why would I?
Disaster in a halo
Nothing even matters
Nothing even matters
Nothing even matters
Nothing even matters
Nothing even matters
Nothing even matters

Cant Get No Justice

black man
in them poverty chains
cant get no justice
in them sterile white courts.

blue collar man
in them grimy working chains
cant get no justice
in them insulated courts.

freedom man
in them speak out chains
cant get no justice
in them walled off courts.

poor woman, ha!
in them second class chains
cant get no justice
in them man-god courts.

you and me
in them angry tired chains
cant get no justice
in them fictional courts!

Love Is All That Matters

(diane warren)
Sometimes we make each other cry
Sometimes were locked inside the prisons of our pride
Sometimes we break each others heart with the words we say
Let anger get in the way too many times
But always after all
Love is all that matters
After everything
One thing remains the same
One thing we cannot change
We all have one heart
And one heart needs another
Love, love is all that matters
Love is all that matters
It matters after all
Sometimes we search this world for gold
When all we really need is just a hand to hold
Sometimes we let the greatest treasure just slip away
With words we forget to say too many times
But always after all
Love is all that matters
After everything
One thing remains the same
One thing we cannot change
We, we all have one heart
And one heart needs another
Love, love is all that matters
Love is all that matters
It matters after all
After all that weve been through
It comes down to one simple truth
You need me, I need you
cause love is all that matters
Love is all that matters
Love is all that matters
It matters after all
Love is all that matters
Its the only thing that matters
It matters after all
Love is all that matters

California Sex Lawyer

I'm going coast to coast
I'm going nation-wide
I've got my hand on the trigger
Got my girl by my side
I've got the looks that kill
I've got a license to love
I've got a german shepard
And his name is Doug
I'm heading for the sun
I'm gunna become
A California sex lawyer, oh yeah
A California sex lawyer, oh yeah
A California sex lawyer, oh yeah
Well it's not fair, but baby I dont care
I've got big ideas
I've got back up plans
I've got the cha-cha-charisma
Got the slight of hand
I'm gunna do some damage
Gunna bust some heads
I'm gunna go the distance
Then I'm going to bed
I'm heading for the sun
I'm gunna become
A California sex lawyer, oh yeah
A California sex lawyer, oh yeah
A California sex lawyer, oh yeah
Well it's not fair, but baby I dont care
I'm heading for the sun
I'm gunna become
A California sex lawyer, oh yeah
A California sex lawyer, oh yeah
A California sex lawyer, oh yeah
Well It's not fair
It's not fair

Professional Discontent

Some chose the farm but gave it up with ease,
As it didn't yield the fruits of labour hard,
When changes came in sun, rain, soil and wind,
And nature's furies ruined what escaped!

Some chose a profession, bit white-collared,
And fleeced their clients, customers, patients,
Earning huge sums in easy ways for long,
But gave it through dissatisfaction!

Some chose to be a man, woman of God,
And bounties poured in abundance by grace,
Turned mercenary from missionary,
And left the fold from Shepherd as plain sheep!

No one seems content with one's profession!
No one is satisfied with divine gifts;
No one lives as per Scriptural guidance;
All want to live their earthly life with ease!

Does man really pine to see God's face?
Do men prefer the after-life o'er life?
Even the pious are victims of greed!
Man's troubles escalate when God's forgot!

It matters not what profession you choose!
You got to be dedicated, righteous;
And God rewards each one equally well!
Earthly inequality is man-wrought!

Ease On Down The Road #2

(charlie smalls)
Come on!
cause there may be times
When you think you lost your mind
And each steps youre takin
Leave you three, four steps behind
cause the road youre walking
Might be long sometimes
But just keep on steppin
And youll be just fine
Ease on down
Ease on down the road
Come on, ease on down
Ease on down the road
Dont you carry nothing
That might be a load
Come on, ease on down
Ease on down the road
Come on, ease on down, ease on down the road
Come on, ease on down, ease on down the road
Come on, ease on down, ease on down the road
Come on, ease on down, ease on down the road
