If we were to hit the level that Metallica or somebody like that hit, we'd have had a hard time dealing with it. I think it would have been our doom. It's hard for anybody at that level.

All those phantom months
months of long days passing

I don't know if it's as damaging on a public level, but I'm certain it's damaging on a personal level. I'm absolutely certain that forcing any young person or not-so-young person into dealing with the issue when they aren't ready to or simply don't want to is damaging to the soul. It's just not right.

i don't care what you do anymore,

but i get through them and then some,
