Working with my husband, I thought we would be at each other. As close as we are, our styles are so different. But it didn't happen - we were surprised.

Husband and Wife
It's gonna be hard
To get back on track
After all that we've been through! !
Some say we're not meant to be together
Only if they only knew! !
We've practically been brought up together
And lived the same old life
I always knew you'd be my husband
I always dreamt i'd be your wife
So what's so different?
What has changed?
Have we grown apart?
I didn't think that could ever happen
I thought you owned my heart? ?
I wouldn't want to live without you
I couldn't even try
I thought about it late last night
And i cried my pillow dry! !
So don't think about this hastily
We need to talk it out
We vowed together, till death do us part
An i never had a doubt
Let's prove them wrong
We're meant to be
I love you more then life
You're made to be my husband
And i'm made to be your wife! ! ! !

On The Day Mrs Modfig's Husband Died
On the day
Mrs Modfig's husband died
she was being rogered
by a Spaniard
she'd met
in Santa Fe
staring at
the off white ceiling
with a
I'm being
well taken care of
feeling
and didn't give
her husband
a second thought
thinking him
back home
working hard
sipping the sherry
smoking the cigar
feet up
watching TV
maybe seeing
that slut from the store
as he had before
no she was content
having this Spaniard
giving her the works
making the night
feeling young again
hoping for more sunshine
far away
from the rain
and her husband
and his moans and groans
and his occasional
rogerings
in their safe
and boring bed
and later
at the funeral
in her black hat
and dress and coat
and matching gloves
she shed
the crocodile tears
remembering
other loves.

Charismatic Personalities Transcend Styles
there is a trendy style
trend seekers follow styles
slaves to fashion styles
style is the moves of the moment
the status looks feel of the moment
style is sold trend setter moments
three choices define criteria styles
follow trend current styles be styles
be out of style or transcend styles
unique charismatic personalities transcend styles
transcend fashion defined now hype popularities
star quality self shines in spaces of hyper realities

A Husband...
A husband should be
Loyal and honest
A husband should be
Strong and protective
A husband should be
Loving and romantic
A husband should be
Patient and understanding
A husband should know
When enough is enough
A husband should know
When to fight and when to cry
A husband should know
all your goals and dreams
A husband should know
your strengths and well as your weaknesses
A husband needs to be a true man
A husband needs to love you unconditionally
A husband needs to know your heart is forever his

The Husband And Wife
What ever happened to the husband and wife
What ever happened to love
What ever happened to the dreams they thought right
That they both thought so much of
What ever happened to the holding of hands
Or the whispers of secrets to keep
Did it somehow slip away with the time
Is it somewhere still hidden beneath
What ever happened to the words I do
Replaced now with words of cruel
Does somehow it still linger on
Is love only lost and confused
What ever happened to the romance
And the love that was in each breath we took
Must somehow be forgotten now
Was this in the chances we took
What ever happened to the husband and wife
What ever happened to love
What will now happen to the rest of our lives
For love, was it overlooked
What will now happen to the dreams we once had
When the world was right at our feet
Is love somehow still hidden somewhere
Or is this the way it must be
There once was a time when it meant so much more
When love walked with us in life
What ever happened to the love in our hearts
What happened to the husband and wife.

The Personal Trainer
husband
didn't pay attention when she started to change her look,
after all, she'd been saying how she wanted to for a while &
it seemed to make sense,
what with her going back to the gym full time,
after a period of time away
when they first had been married-
husband just went about his days
working more hours than he knew what to do with,
business was good &
with all the business around him seeming to fail,
he'd been putting away for the life he imagined in the future,
with or without
her-
but her time spent at the gym seemed to increase &
thought her body began to get trimmer, sexier, tighter, stronger &
she seemed to walk around the house with a new zest for life
(when he was there to see her) ,
he still didn't notice that
the personal trainer had moved in-
she had said something to him,
but he was listening less & less
as he had more & more to worry about at work,
for it was all part of building his empire.
the personal trainer was a less successful man
by the standard that money can by,
but he listened to her
as he traced her curves with his fingers in the gym
with palms of his hand smoothly gliding over her muscles
making her body quiver &
it wasn't long before in the car outside the gym
they consummated the professional relationship
again &
again &
again &
again.
as she began to show less interest in sex with her husband,
he wrote it off as a side-effect of marriage &
found himself a main squeeze on the side,
a 20 something who needed money to get her through college
with a perkiness that made him feel young again &
a body that wouldn't quit-
as he grew more distant from the wife,
she grew closer to the personal trainer,
until the day when she brought him home to the house,
when she swore the husband would be gone.
husband found out the way a husband will
when husband had been no longer interested
until another shows his face, as it is only jealousy then
which kicks in, making husband suddenly care-
but personal trainer put husband on the ground
when husband came into his own bedroom
to find personal trainer banging away his bride
who now had no interest in husband-
husband sued the personal trainer for assault &
bride to be divorced husband, taking half of everything he had,
breaking his empire down to nothing
as he had been stupid enough to not require a prenup
at the beginning of it all.

Reminiscing on Mother’s Day
Torn between my Blackberry
And my little baby
Is already a tough call
But that is not all
As a working Mom
My cup of woes
Often overflows
A sulking husband
A whining baby
And to top it all
A very demanding Boss
Leaving me at a total loss
My head spins not knowing
On whom I should focus my attention
Indeed I must admit
It is to my baby that I generally submit
He who makes the loudest sound
Is bound to make me turn around
Between husband and boss
It is often the lucky toss
In no particular order
Husband can be chided even derided
For not taking up his share
Of responsibility to manage our baby
This baby line does not work with the boss
He never stops reminding me
About the human approach of the company
In allowing me working hour flexibility
In order to support top table diversity
Never a thought for my high levels of anxiety
So in the interest of propriety
I try to do my bit for my family and society

I have accomplished a lot, but it didn't happen overnight for me. I was 35 when I got the show, and had been working professionally for 15 years. It would be a lot weirder if I were in my early 20s and stumbled into it.

One Of Us Must Know
I didn't mean to treat you so bad
You shouldn't take it so personal
I didn't mean to make you so sad
You just happened to be there, that's all
When i saw you say "goodbye" to your friend and smile
I thought that it was well understood
That you'd be comin' back in a little while
I didn't know that you were sayin' "goodbye" for good
But, sooner or later, one of us must know
You just did what you're supposed to do
Sooner or later, one of us must know
That i really did try to get close to you
I couldn't see what you could show me
Your scarf had kept your mouth well hid
I couldn't see how you could know me
But you said you knew me and i believed you did
When you whispered in my ear
And asked me if i was leavin' with you or her
I didn't realize just what i did hear
I didn't realize how young you were
But, sooner or later, one of us must know
You just did what you're supposed to do
Sooner or later, one of us must know
That i really did try to get close to you
I couldn't see when it started snowin'
Your voice was all that i heard
I couldn't see where we were goin'
But you said you knew an' i took your word
And then you told me later, as i apologized
That you were just kiddin' me, you weren't really from the farm
An' i told you, as you clawed out my eyes
That i never really meant to do you any harm
But, sooner or later, one of us must know
You just did what you're supposed to do

I Can't Believe
Chastity
What a virtue to be stolen
Tragedy
Has forsaken into fake
Blasphemy
Shadow stripped me of my reason
Misery
Comes to bed with me tonight
What am I gonna do
And now I can't believe
You let this happen to me
And I can't believe
They put those daggers through me
And I can't believe
You didn't come to save me from my pain
Laughed at me
They hit my face and clutched my rosary
Humility
A lesson best just left alone
Heresy
Because I'm two inside my body
Irony
A child of love from a man I hate
Until my dying day
And now I can't believe
You let this happen to me
And I can't believe
They put those daggers through me
And I can't believe
You didn't come to save me from my pain
And now I can't believe
You let this happen to me
And I can't believe
They put those daggers through me
And I can't believe
You didn't come to save me from my pain

I'm sorry, I didn't notice
I'm sorry, I didn't notice
When this started to happen
I'm sorry, I didn't notice
I just let it begin
I'm sorry, I didn't notice
The change in anythin'
I'm sorry, I didn't notice
When we stopped talkin'
I'm sorry, I didn't notice
We weren't letting each other in
I'm sorry, I didn't notice
That sad, sad trend
I'm sorry, I didn't notice
The beginning of the end
I'm sorry, I didn't notice
You were no longer my friend
But believe me, now I notice
And it hurts deep within
Now that I notice
I hope you'll be again

Because of What You Did
You tell me I can't do anything right
You tell me I'm wasting my breath
You tell me I'm useless
You tell me I should die
You got your wish, what's wrong?
You didn't think I'd do it?
Didn't think I'd have the guts?
‘Cause you called me a coward
Did you think that it wouldn't happen eventually?
That your words would just bounce off?
Didn't you call me too sensitive?
That I over-reacted, you said
Perhaps you thought I was too stupid
To do what was smarter than staying
In a world where I was ‘unloved and unwanted'
According to what you were saying
Anyway, who cares, right?
It's what you wanted, regardless
So do whatever you want now I'm gone
And there's no one to pick on
I'm happier where I am
Hope you get what you deserve
The place you're going will be the same
As being in my shoes, while alive
Because of what you did to me
I left for a better place
It back-fired, didn't it, because I'm happy
And you can go to hell

Alone
I was running, running scared
When I realised you no longer cared,
Something had made you change your mind,
Your eyes were cold, your heart turned blind,
You never spared a single thought
About the money or the gifts I'd bought,
I didn't want your gratitude,
No, not at all, but your attitude
Surprised me and I wondered why
I couldn't do anything else but cry.
I'd always been a lonely man -
It just turned out that way - I didn't plan
My loneliness, it simply came
And there wasn't anyone I could blame,
But when we met I thought at last
That solitude would be a thing of the past,
I was so happy, I felt more joy
Than I'd ever felt since I was a boy!
I didn't understand love could end,
That I would be left without a friend.
At least you might just say 'Goodbye'
Even if you won't tell me the reason why.
But your heart is harder than a stone,
Indifferent as an old, dry bone,
I know you won't answer if I phone
And I understand I am ALONE.

i Asked God Why
I asked God. Why me I asked god. One day God took my loving husband from me with out let me know what it’s going to happen to me with out him. I started asking why? What I did wrong to deserve this, many questions were in my head all the time. Now I know the answer. God took my husband it is not because I did something wrong, it was my husband time to leave this world. Now two years passed by and I understood that God don’t give you thinks that you’re not able to handle. Now I have an Angel that it’s looking after me all the time to make sure that I do the best every single day. I missed my loving husband but I know he is in a very good place.

Green Eyed Monster
I met my Green eyed monster
while out the other night.
I thought I'd seen my husband
holding another woman to him tight!
I rushed on over to confront him
but when I got close to see
It was just my Green eyed monster
showing me things to trouble me.
The man and women glared at me
as if to say, 'What's Up? '
Embarassed that I even thought that he
could have ever done of such.
I rushed on home to my surprise
stood my husband to greet me at the door.
I never want to see that Green Eyed monster
In my minds eye evermore!

Didn't Expect It
I never thought you will move back to California forever because of me I make you leave here
I’m feel so horrible and I
Didn’t expect it
Once I found out it hurts so much
It opens my eyes
Now you are gone
I didn’t make right choices and
Break you into million pieces
Things will never be same
I’m so sorry
I feel like I know you forever
We were so close in school in 10th grade
How I can get over you
You were different and what I’m looking for
I can be me around you and have fun with you, but
Things change in 11th grade
I can’t smile, laugh, and have fun like I use to around you
I regret for not dating you
You know how I feel about you
I never give us a chance
What have I done?
I didn’t see how you were good for me
Letting you down, I feel so bad
Most of poems I write are about you
That’s all I think to write about is you
I’m out of words to write because of you
On the hand
You told me that you never want to go out with me
It don’t seems like you mean it, I bet you did
You wish we were dating by the way I’m with other guys and
Not with you flirting, smiling and having good time
Memories of us have fun, laugh, hurt by each other,
Joy and time we had spent in class in 10th grade
I never going forget it after all and
It impossible to do that
I miss you too much I know I have to let you go, but
It hurts too much and to be with other guys
It’s not same like when I with you and
I can’t love them like I did with you
All I think about is you
There something I need to figure out
Why I can’t let you go yet?
What I like about you that was special?
I don't know yet
I'm so clueless
I bet you had move on and dating someone else
It’s not my business
I need to move on too
You gone forever and
You thought you knew me but you don't, I do
I’m not going let you hold me back
I make you wait too long
I thought second chance
I will I get you but I didn’t
I lie and you hate people lying to you
You did too and you put people in your games
I did or say things make you change your feelings about me
I was so confused and hopeless
It all happen so fast and so much going on
I feel so bad
My life getting worster in school
I can’t blame you and I
Didn’t expect it
When you hurt me back and get revenge
You are one to blame on and me too
This end in tragedy and so many damages happen
This is life
We are one to be blame
We like to get attention that’s
What all our friends say I bet
We turn out to be jerk especially you
I will never spread rumors about you like the way you did to me
I feel so hurt and sad that you did that
This side I never saw before
You do anything to hurt me back so badly
My heart is shatter
I thought you were different
Everything reminds me of you
My friends were right about you
I need to take their advices
They getting tired of this and mad
They hate when I changes
They want me stop living like this
You never care about me
Wow, I’m shock right now
I feel so dumb for loving you this long and so much
I’m just speechless right now and I need to live my life
Having fun every day and night
Life is short like I say
Didn’t expect it
To know it now is better
I can move on for good
I’m stupid to wait around longer
Their never going be us or chances going happen
Is all over now and
You live in west of United Stated
I need to trust people and stop lying
Didn’t expect it

Morning Night And Day
One time didn't do it
Two times didn't feel quite right
I didn't know where i was going
I just knew that i would be alright
I woke up in a druken haze
The sun shone to my window?
I said that i'd never do it again
What kind of fool do you think i am?
It happens
It always seems to happen
Morning night and day
I just want some action
Give me satisfaction
Send me to my?
Morning night and day
I had a good time late last night
I didn't think it would ever end
I walked home in a broad day light
Couldn't get a cab at half past five
One drink wouldn't do it
Two drinks are far too much
I didn't know what i was doing
I ate the floor and a pile of dust
It happens
It always seems to happen
Morning night and day
I just want some action
Give me satisfaction
Send me to my?
Morning night and day
So if you think that it won't get you
Well think again friend 'cause it's not true
In my case, it was not my fault
Other people made that call
One time didn't do it
Two times didn't feel quite right
It happens
It always seems to happen
No matter what i say
Morning night and day
I just want some action
Need some satisfaction
Before it gets too late
Send me to my?
Morning night and day

I WAS A FOOL...by talile ali
I WAS A FOOL
I DON'T WANNA LOSE A FRIENDSHIP
JUST FOR SOME WILD ABANDONED SEX
IF THAT EVER WERE TO BE THE CASE
LIKE FRIENDS WITH BENIFITS
TO HAVE THEM BOTH WOULD BE SO NICE
IT'S LIKE A FANTASY OF MINE
ONE I'D LIKE TO REALIZE
WITH YOU BEFORE WE'RE OUT OF TIME
THAT IT'S YOU, I'M NOT SURPRISED
CAUSE DARLIN, I'VE ALWAYS HAD IT FOR YOU
NEVER THOUGHT I'D SUGGEST SUCH A THING
BUT LIFE MAKES US ALL A FOOL
YOUR MAN'S NOT FUCKIN NO MORE
AND NEITHER DOES MY WIFE
THAT WAS THEIR CHOICE, KEEP IT REAL
I WANNA HAVE SEX WITH MY REAL WIFE
AND AS STRANGE AS IT SEEMS
IT'S FUNNY THAT WE DIDN'T SEE
THE REALITY OF THIS
THING THAT WAS MEANT TO BE
TALKIN BOUT ME AND YOU
AND THE WAY WE FEEL
WE BEEN DENYIN TOO MUCH
WE SHOULD HAVE KEPT IT REAL
I ONCE WAS ANGRY
THAT I DENIED MYSELF THESE PLEASURES
AND THOUGHT I WAS SO BRIGHT
REALIZED BEYOND MEASURE
I WAS A FOOL
FOR NOT TAKING UP YOUR HAND
YOU SEE, THIS MAN'S NOT COMPLETE
UNTIL YOUR HIS WOMAN
AS THE STORY GOES
THIS TELL'S COME TO A CLOSE
I WANNA BE WITH YOU
SO THE STORY GOES

You're living in paradise
I'm getting tired of hearing your silly complaints.
You're angry because your husband isn't a saint.
Your husband forgets and leaves the toilet seat up and you think this isn't very nice.
You think you have it bad but you're really living in paradise.
Your husband has a few flaws but in my eyes he's great.
When I tell you about some other husbands, he'll be a man who you 'll appreciate.
I've seen husbands who beat and raped their wives and some husbands who even threatened them with guns.
And you complain about the superficial things your husband has done.
Close to where I live, a man killed his wife and then set her on fire.
Be thankful that your life isn't so dire.
These poor women's lives have been completely destroyed.
And you have the nerve to complain because your husband goes out once a week with the boys.
Before you complain about your husband again, maybe you should think twice.
You think you have it bad but you're really living in paradise.
