Secrets

[children playing]

late in September
memories I can't erase
the shiver through autumn
the memory of your face
'cause I grew much older
I wonder
whatever I could have done
to fight all the magnets

but I close my eyes
and find truth in what I'm sayin'
they thought it was all a lie
how could they deny it when I was just a
little child

secrets I kept inside me
no one can understand
secrets I had to hide
'cause no one would hold my hand when
secrets for me to know
and never for you to see
secrets for only me

emotions so bother my soul
to know that I felt much pain
I thought it would go far away
it did for the moment

find truth in what I'm sayin'
they thought it was all a lie
how could they deny it when I was just a child
baby

One Of The Great Mysteries Of Nature

A bird or wild animal when they sense death is upon them will crawl under thick cover for to die
Why this should be great minds have often pondered though they did not come up with the answer why
Beast or bird to die will try to crawl to cover it's something way beyond them to explain
It's one of the great mysteries of Nature and as a mystery forever 'twill remain.

There are so many mysteries in Nature and us humans despite our advanced technology
Cannot unlock Mother Nature's deepest secrets and Nature to us still a mystery
Some seem to think that wild creatures die in cover from their enemies to hide themselves away
But that is just one of a thousand theories and I would rather stick with 'who can say'.

There are so many mysteries in Nature and her secrets she doesn't share with you and I
And Mother Nature to me still remains a mystery though I've lived near her since I was a young boy
And those who say they know of Nature's secrets they kid themselves or if not that they lie
For Mother Earth to us remains a mystery though to understand her ways we never cease to try.

The bird or beast for to die will try to crawl to cover even
from their own kind they wish to die alone
And why this should be to us remains a mystery and none of Nature's secrets to us known
As the years go by we acquire greater knowledge but people like the Seasons come and go
But Nature with secrecy will guard her secrets and her secrets are not for us to know.

Unicorns and Myth

Many moons ago, England had its myths,
Stories of fairies, leprechauns and unicorns,
Who lived in a mythological land,
Where mystery and magic still stand,
For the forest were dark and dangerous places,
The unsuspecting walking through their depths,
Knowing the magical creatures watching over their steps,
Protecting them from the devil that hides in the dark,
Shadows waiting in the tall trees,
But nature has always had its power in magic,
White witches harnessing nature's secret power,
The plants and trees that surround and fill the forest,
Magic and myth to be found in the dark green leaves,
For the forest contains many secrets,
Many secrets where unicorns run at the witching hour,
Or the moon sharing her secret power,
And there are many beautiful flowers,
Blooming, even in the dark,
The fairies sprinkling their magic dust,
To make mushrooms and petals grow,
The forest rich with its vast, magical beauty,
That has captured the imagination of all who see.

I'm Always Learning From Nature

For many years I have loved Nature but little about her I know
My knowledge of her is basic I know a finch from a crow
Recognize some birds by their songs know a wallaby from a roo
Know a wombat from an echidna and a rosella from a cockatoo
Just basic knowledge of Nature her secrets from us she hide
Nature who lives in Townparks and gardens and who reigns supreme in the countryside
I find her quite fascinating artists and writers she inspire
I can only sing her praises of which I never do tire
Nature is for everybody for to learn of and enjoy
And for decades of years I have loved her ever since I was a boy
Her secrets she has hidden from me so mysterious in her own way
I'm always learning from Nature learning from her every day
Yes I'm always learning from Nature and my wonder of her only grow
Yet from me her secrets she keeps hidden and little about her I know.

So Little Of Nature

It first dawned on me at least five decades ago
That so little of Nature I do seem to know
New lessons from Nature I learn every day
Yet from me she does hide her secrets away
The beauty of Nature to look at is free
The blossoms in Spring on the fruit bearing tree
Each blossom one day to a ripe fruit does grow
So little of Nature I do seem to know
The boy of the fifties has grown old and gray
And the clock on our lives it keeps ticking away
To the father of time we eventually bow
And though I've been a student of Nature for many years now
Our Earth Mother keeps all of her secrets from me
Though her beauty to look at for everyone free.

The Ship That Never Returned

On a summer's day while the waves were rippling, with a quiet and a gentle breeze;
A ship set sail with a cargo laden for a port beyond the sea.

Did she ever return? No, she never returned, and her fate is still unlearned,
But a last poor man set sail commander, on a ship that never returned.

There were sad farewells, there were friends forsaken, and her fate is still unlearned,
But a last poor man set sail commander on a ship that never returned.

Did she ever return? No, she never returned, and her fate is still unlearned,
But a last poor man set sail commander, on a ship that never returned.

Said a feeble lad to his aged mother, I must cross that deep blue sea,
For I hear of a land in the far off country, where there's health and strength for me.

Did she ever return? No, she never returned, and her fate is still unlearned,
But a last poor man set sail commander, on a ship that never returned.

'Tis a gleam of hope and a maze of danger, and our fate is still to learn,
And a last poor man set sail commander, on a ship that never returned.

Did she ever return? No, she never returned, and her fate is still unlearned,
But a last poor man set sail commander, on a ship that never returned.

Said this feeble lad to his aged mother, as he kissed his weeping wife,
"Just one more purse of that golden treasure, it will last us all through life.

Did she ever return? No, she never returned, and her fate is still unlearned,
But a last poor man set sail commander, on a ship that never returned.

"Then we'll live in peace and joy together and enjoy all I have earned."
So they sent him forth with a smile and blessing on a ship that never returned.

Did she ever return? No, she never returned, and her fate is still unlearned,
But a last poor man set sail commander, on a ship that never returned.

Secrets

Written: stock aitken waterman
1a:
Still dont know how he got my number
Thought Id got him out of my life
But I agreed to see him just one time
Never thought Id fall for him twice
1b:
Ohh, youve gotta hear my confession
I believe its long overdue
I cant think of living without you
Id understand if thats what youd wanna do
Chorus:
There are
Secrets that you never know
Secrets in a private room
Secrets that I kept from you
Pillow talk in the afternoon
2:
Never wanted to hurt you
Didnt really want to deceive
I was so afraid if I told you
Your broken heart would force you to leave
I think I knew what I was doing
By falling into his arms again
I wish Id seen right through him
But Im telling you cos Im so ashamed
Chorus:
(repeat 2 times)
1b:
Chorus:
Secrets, secrets, secrets
Pillow talk in the afternoon
Chorus:
(repeat & fade)

Whispering

Written by gerry beckley, 1998
Found on human nature.
I hear you in my sleep
Ive fallen in too deep
Sometimes its hard to keep
Secrets, secrets
Its like a breath of air
I feel it everywhere
And still I cant declare
Secrets, secrets
Gotta keep whispering on the phone at night
Gotta keep whispering, gotta get it right
Gotta keep whispering til the morning light
Secrets, secrets
I need you by my side
Cant say I havent tried
Sometimes its hard to hide
Secrets, secrets
Gotta keep whispering on the phone at night
Gotta keep whispering, gotta get it right
Gotta keep whispering til the morning light
Secrets, secrets
Gotta keep whispering on the phone at night
Gotta keep whispering, gotta get it right
Gotta keep whispering til the morning light
Secrets, secrets
Secrets, secrets
Gotta keep whispering on the phone at night
Gotta keep whispering, gotta get it right
Gotta keep whispering til the morning light
Secrets, secrets
Gotta keep whispering on the phone at night
Gotta keep whispering, gotta get it right
Gotta keep whispering til the morning light
Secrets, secrets
Gotta keep whispering on the phone at night
Gotta keep whispering, gotta get it right
Gotta keep whispering til the morning light

I Always Have Loved Mother Nature

I always have loved Mother Nature ever since I was a boy
And a thing of Natural beauty is always a thing of joy
And the mysteries of Nature is a mysterious thing
There is far more to any bird than the song it does sing
I always have loved Nature though my wonderment of her grow
And the more I learn about her the less about her I know I know
From humankind Mother Nature her secrets she hides away
And from our walks in Nature we learn every day
The only true immortal of which we will ever know
Us people like her Seasons to life we come and from life we go
I always have loved Nature and in that I'm not alone
Her secrets hidden in every bush and tree and hedge and under every stone
Her mighty rivers from her hills to her great oceans flow
And she has been around long before plants on her first did grow
In her bosom with all other life forms I will also lay
And I will love Nature till my last living day.

To learn is to unlearn

I have unlearned what I had learned
No more belief in stars, spirits and gods..
I have unlearned what I had learned
No more like for air, pride and fancy.

One learning cancels the other learning.

Diary

Verse 1:
Lay your
Head on my pillow
Here you can be yourself
No one has to know what u are feeling
No one but me and you
Chorus:
I won't tell your secrets
Your secrets
Are safe with me
I will keep your secrets
Just think of me as the pages in your diary
Verse 2:
I feel
Such a connection
Even when your far away
If there is anything that you fear
Call 4.8.9. 46.0.8
And i'll be here
Chorus:
I wont tell your secrets
Your secrets
Are safe with me
I will keep your secrets
Just think of me as the pages in your diary
Bridge:
And only we know what is talked about
Baby boy
I don't know how you can be driving me so crazy
Boy
When you're in town
Why dont you come around
Boy
I'll be the loyalty you need
You can trust me
Boy
oooh
Chorus:
I wont tell your secrets
Your secrets
Are safe with me
I will keep your secrets
Just think of me as the pages in your diary
Adlib:
everybody say
(whooaaaa)
let me hear you say
(whooo)
I won't tell
(I won't tell)
I won't tell
(I won't tell)
I won't tell
Your secrets, your secrets
break it down
(I won't tell)

With The Wonders Of Nature

With the wonders of Nature nothing to compare
And the Goddess of Nature she lives everywhere
And the secrets of Nature not for humans to know
At the magic of Nature our wonder does grow.

The beauty of Nature is for all to see
It is all around you and it is all around me
The cold winds of Winter blow up from the sea
But how lovely the pink flowers bloom on the camellia tree.

The music of Nature an amazing thing
On trees and on bushes the birds chirp and sing
I feel that to Nature us humans too belong
Though in saying that some may say I have got it wrong.

The beauty of Nature I see every day
And I marvel at her is all I can say
The passing of her Seasons have left me looking gray
And in her dark earthy bosom my remains will lay.

More Than Our Earth Mother

I've loved Mother Nature since I was a boy
And to me she remains as a source of great joy
Her beauty is everywhere all around me
In Nature there's so much to learn of and see
My wonder of her only does seem to grow
Yet little of her ways I do seem to know
Her secrets with human kind she does not share
With the wonders of Nature there's none to compare
I'll say it again I've often said it before
We are Nature's life forms that and nothing more
You who take Nature for granted you have got it all wrong
She is more than our Earth Mother to her we belong
She will live on forever on us a use by date
And her Reaper the one who will decide our fate.

The Ways Of Nature

Never seen a musk duck or little grebe on land in water they seem happy to stay
They are water birds in the true sense since that seems their natural way
Can't even say I have seen them flying though 'tis said they do fly by those in the know
I have so much to learn about Nature and my wonder of her only grow
One could live for hundreds of centuries and of Nature not know everything
She is amazing our Earth Mother and her praises one cannot help but sing
I've never witnessed foxes mating though like all canines they do mate
Perhaps at night under the cloak of darkness in heavy cover they copulate
Their cubs the proof of their secret meetings whilst the Human world is asleep
The Wildborn creatures of Nature their secrets from us they do keep
The unrivalled beauty of Nature we see around us everywhere
But she guards her secrets with secrecy and with us them never will share
And so much to love about in Nature the artists and writers she inspire
And of singing the Earth Goddess praises I do feel one never could tire.

The Magical Music Show(Lyrics) :

Welcome to magic, and the magical music show.
You'll get a little magic, from the magical music show.

When you see, you've got it down.
Take a little look around.
Send your eyes up on the stage.
There could be no better day; for magic.
And the magical music show.
We'll send a little magic.
From the magical music show.

When you think you understand.
Take a look, up at our band.
Take another look around.
There could be no better sound, then magic.
And the magical music show.
You'll get a little magic.
From the magical music show.

So welcome to magic.
And the magical music show..

You'll get a little magic.
From the magical music show.

So welcome to magic.
And the magical music show.

And the magical music show-wooh-wooh..

Something Like You

So many times
I thought I held it in my hands
But just like grains of sand
Love sliped though my fingers

So many nights
I asked the Lord above
Please make me lucky enough
To find a love that lingers

Something keeps telling me
You could be my answer prayer
You must be heaven sent
I swear

(Chorus)
Cause something happens when you look at me
I forget to speak
Something happens when you kiss my mouth
My knees get so weak
Could it be true this is what God has ment you me
Cause baby I can't believe something like you
Could happen to me
Something like you

Girl in your eyes
I feel your fire burn (feel your fire)
All your secrets I will learn
Even if it takes forever

With you by my side
I can't do anything(can't do anything)
I don't care what tommorrow brings
As long as we're together

My heart is telling me
That you could be my ment to be
I know it more each time
We touch

(Chorus)

Something magical(something magical)
Something spitual(something spitual)
Something stronger than the two of us alone( yea)
Something physical
Something undeniable
Nothing like anything(nothing like anything)
That I've ever known

(Chorus)
{fades out}

No Secrets

(carly simon)
We have no secrets
We tell each other everything
About the lovers in the past
And why they didn't last
We share a cast of characters from a to z
We know each others fantasies
And though we know each other better when we explore
Sometimes i wish
Often i wish
That i never knew some of those secrets of yours
The water was cold
The beach was empty but for one
Now you were lying in the sun
Wanting and needing no-one
Then some child came, you never asked for her to come
She drank a pint of your rum
And later when you told me
You aid she was a bore
Sometimes i wish
Often i wish
That i never knew some of those secrets of yours
In the name of honesty, in the name of what is fair
You always answer my questions
But they don't always answer my prayers
And though i know you say that it's me that you adore
Sometimes i wish
Often i wish
That i never, never, never knew
Some of those secrets of yours
Some of those secrets of yours
Some of those secrets of yours
We have no secrets
Telling each other most everything now

We Do Not Respect Her At All

Those who spend decades learning about Nature of Nature's ways will tell you they have much to know
Her deepest secrets we will never learn of and our wonder of her only seem to grow
One could live for a thousand years and yet not know all about her as her most precious secrets with us she will never share
And yet in part due to us she does seem much the poorer as many of her life forms either extinct or rare
Many of her waterways by us have been polluted our factories puff up black smoke to the sky
Why do we try to harm the one who feeds us that is the question many have asked why
Without us Nature would do nicely though for to live on her we do depend
She supplies all of our needs for our existence though to her we are not a good friend
In technology humans have come far and many human achievements are great
But we've not been respectful to Nature and that's something we cannot celebrate
But Nature she will live forever and like her Seasons we come to life and die
Immortality for us Homo Sapiens has surely been based on a lie
We depend on her for our very existence and our achievements to her seem so small
And though we are one of her life forms we do not respect her at all.
