If a hit came along, I wouldn't be unhappy about that. But I'm a bit too old for that now-doing videos and all those types of TV shows. I've kind of done all that, in the '70s.

Disco was brand new then and there were a few jocks that had monstrous sound systems but they wouldn't dare play this kind of music. They would never play a record where only two minutes of the song was all it was worth. They wouldn't buy those types of records.

Every Aspect Of It!
Just because you do not see me driving,
Do not assume I am not licensed to drive.
Or that I do not 'think'...
Because I do not look the part.
You don't see half the things I do and have done.
Nor are you on my agenda.
And folks who focus their sights on others...
Are the first who find these times we live,
Difficult to adjust.
Even though they feel they 'must'...
Demand understanding,
Without participating in the development of it.
You know the kind...?
The ears closed, mouth open types!
With claims they don't know what is going on!
And rush they do to prevent,
The circumstances of truth.
Coming to bombard and overwhelm.
With the consequences of their ignorance.
You know the kind...?
The ears closed, mouth open types!
Yet conflict they are quick to define...
Instead of using their minds to take time,
Comprehending remedies.
To set aside a strategy...
To stop the havoc that has begun,
Happening in their own lives.
You know the kind...?
The ears closed, mouth open types!
And this kind of mindset today,
Is reflected on a massive scale.
People into minding the business of others...
Have found their business in shambles.
Every aspect of it!
With shock and disbelief,
As a return for their 'investment'!
You know the kind...?
The ears closed, mouth open types!
The ones who rush to cover their butts,
With implusive mindless decisions!

Unhappy Cause
I'm unhappy cause my dad's an alcoholic and my mom's a side stripper.Unhappy cause my daddy moved on from my birth mom now I've got a step mom.Unhappy when she calls me these cruel things, they're so mean, it makes me want to scream.
Unhappy to be here this day..
wishing it would end someway!

As far as the live shows go, we're not leapfrogging all the smaller venues. We would have bypassed these kind of shows and gone straight to the Arena shows, but we didn't want to.

My Unhappy Anniversary
You ask me, how am I?
Well I'm still standing, aren't I?
That's something, that's one thing , that's gone my way
It's so hard, to go out, like everything ok now
When inside, I still cry for yesterday
This is my unhappy anniversary! !
But I lie, saying it's just another day
This is my unhappy anniversary! !
I know it's so stupid to feel brokenhearted
I wonder if you know just how much I hurt
I drink up and think up a toast to numb the hours
To get through without you is so hard today
Cause it's unhappy anniversary! !
And now it's near midnight, a few minutes and I
Return to get back to my former life
Pretending our ending was not so bad, I know that
It's time to escape you until next year
When it's unhappy anniversary! !
This is my unhappy anniversary
But I smile like it's just another day
It's just my unhappy anniversary

But by us doing a lot on the road, we were able to afford things like videos on the tours, cartoons that we'd open up the shows with. We were doing that way back when and now it's the hippest thing to do. We're just coming back around, I guess trying to play catch-up.

Agains All Odds (Take A Look At Me Now)
When I'm feeling blue, all I have to do
Is take a look at you, then I'm not so blue
When you're close to me, I can feel your heart beat
I can hear you breathing in my ear
Wouldn't you agree, baby you and me, we've got a groovy kind of love
Any time you want to, you can turn me on to
Anything you want to, any time at all
When I kiss your lips, ooh I start to shiver
Can't control the quivering inside
Wouldn't you agree, baby you and me, we've got a groovy kind of love, oho
(Solo)
When I'm feeling blue, all I have to do
Is take a look at you, then I'm not so blue
When I'm in your arms, nothing seems to matter
My whole world could shatter, I don't care
Wouldn't you agree, baby you and me, we've got a groovy kind of love
We've got a groovy kind of love, we've got a groovy kind of love
Oho, we've got a groovy kind of love

Politicize Theosophy
It is with true love in China, as it is with the apparition
of spirits everyone talks about both & few people have
seen either. Can we come together, can we unite together
Can we love one another, can we heal one another There use to be unhappy people in Germany
in every kind of home and in every walk of life
Unhappy with their conditions and unhappy with their values
Unhappy with the war of the end of the world]
Unhappy with the revolt of the masses. Can we come together, can we unite together
Can we love one another, can we heal one another] Before such a great need in France, our efforts are useless
Our true values to obtain something greater for everyone. Can we come together, can we unite together
Can we love one another, can we heal one another In Spain, you will still call me
Many times and I shall
Always respond to you In America, China, Germany, France and Spain
are Heroic nations that have fought together
and who stand together nevertheless will always
be together.

I think my work shows that I love women. I understand where these types of criticisms are coming from because black people have been so dogged out in the media, they're just extra sensitive.
My Kind Of Man
Writer Dolly Parton
Copyright 1973
If I'm not your kind of woman being just the way I am
Then I know you're really not my kind of man
I don't believe you have the right to ask me to be different
Either take me like I am or let me be
If you really love me I mean really love all of me
You wouldn't want to change one part of me
If you can't be satisfied with me the way I am
If I can't make you happy find someone who can
If I'm not your kind of woman being just the way I am
Then I know you're really not my kind of man
I couldn't make you happy if I let you change me
For I know you wouldn't love me that a way
I can only be myself but if you want something else
Then I can see no reason I should stay
If you can't be satisfied...
If I'm not your kind of woman...

Madonna's Old Friend
Little Italian girl would grew up to be
an international singer
and movie star on the silver screen.
Yes, Madonna would become a top pop star
she would tour the world and go quite far.
One of Madonna's NYC dancing friends
is friends with me now she is also Italian.
She was dancing in clubs with Madonna when
Penthouse did Madonna's spread—
Debra is her name and she will defend
Madonna till the end.
Debra collaged lovingly Madonna's photos
since the start of her fame
She also helped do marketing for Madonna's
line Material Girl with care just the same.
Debra is a big fan of Madonna with links
to her videos—
she also sends out links to all of her shows.
Debra admires Madonna very much so
saying 'Madonna got to where she was because
she wouldn't take a no'.
