Men... are bettered and improved by trial, and refined out of broken hopes and blighted expectations.

The second trial was a fair trial. I do not call it a second trial. I call it a fair trial, as opposed to the first trial, which was an unfair trial, a Roman holiday.

Great Expectations
Youre sittin in your seat
And then you stand and clutch your breast
Our music drives you wild along with the rest
You watch me singing this song
You see what my mouth can do
And you wish you were the one I was doing it to
And you watch me playin guitar
And you feel what my fingers can do
And you wish you were the one I was doing it to
Well, listen
Youve got great expectations
Youve got great expectations
Youre dying to be seen
And you wave and call my name
But in the day it seems that Im a million miles away
You watch me beatin my drum
And you know what my hands can do
And you wish you were the one I was doing it to
Well, listen
Youve got great expectations
Youve got great expectations
Youve got great expectations
Then you feels these eyes from the stage
And you see me staring at you
And you hear between the lines, my voice is calling to you
Well, listen
Youve got great expectations
Youve got great expectations
Youve got great expectations, do you want to play the role
Youve got great expectations, youd even sell me your soul
Youve got great expectations
Youve got great expectations
Youve got great expectations, do you want to play the role
Youve got great expectations, youd even sell me your soul
Youve got great expectations, as long as you can play the role
Youve got great expectations

Hopes in Hopes
Hopes in Hopes
Hopes! what is this thing i hope for? is it a fantasy or a trick played by my mind.... at night i hope for things i imagined would someday become reality,
I hope that my imagination becomes reality, I hope that i dont have to hope to get the things i want.
But hopping in high expectation takes you a step forward, Hopes! , dreams are buit on hope, every moment i hope, i cant stop hopping! , but i cant help to think that hopes makes a person archived greater things, it helps a person think high, it helps a person taking higher step in life.
i hope this will be useful to people who hopes to find thier expectations, hopes are your dreams.

We Just Come Here And Go - Original By Rabindranath Tagore
We just come here and go
And go with the time's flow!
We only see things
And touch while going
And look back crying!
Only new bleak hopes
Take our life forward!
We can see false hopes
If we look backward!
Broken strength carries endless desires
Both bright and dark
So broken output is obtained from
Do or die work!
We sail our broken boat in the sea with goods!
Our broken language can't express all moods!
Half acquaintance in our hearts!
Our half sentence needs more words!
In shame and fear our faith is half
So we offer only half love!

Shame Tells The Culture
Reprimand, arrest, trial and sentence
Have failed to evoke shame among rulers.
A scorn, a frown, a slight or a mocking,
When faced, still puts to shame the refined ones.

A well which is drawn from is improved. [Art is improved by practice.]
Reputation is fine but you have to keep justifying it. In a sense, it makes it harder because people's expectations of you are higher. So, you have to fulfill those expectations. Or, try to exceed those expectations. But, it becomes more difficult as time goes on.

The Usher's Charge
Now, Jurymen, hear my advice -
All kinds of vulgar prejudice
I pray you set aside:
With stern judicial frame of mind -
From bias free of every kind,
This trial must be tried!
Oh, listen to the plaintiff's case:
Observe the features of her face -
The broken-hearted bride!
Condole with her distress of mind -
From bias free of every kind,
This trial must be tried!
And when amid the plaintiff's shrieks,
The ruffianly defendant speaks -
Upon the other side;
What HE may say you need not mind -
From bias free of every kind,
This trial must be tried!

Trial By Fire
Only got one life to live, Im gonna live it, oh yeah
Some people say I go to far
I dont care, reachin for the stars
Gonna climb that ladder to the top
Nothin can stop me now
Well, look out world
cause here I come
Oh yeah, oh yeah
Lifes a trial by fire
Im gonna live my life, oh yeah
Its a trial by fire
So just roll the dice, oh yeah
And Ill take what I get
Cant listen to nobody else, you just got to believe in yourself
Theyll criticize you and lay down the law
Theyll say, just who do you think you are
Gonna live it till the rivers run dry
Whatve I got to lose
They just try and stop me, go ahead and try, oh yeah, oh yeah
Lifes a trial by fire
So Im gonna live it up, oh yeah, oh yeah
Trial by fire
So just roll the dice, oh yeah, oh yeah
Trial by, trial by fire
Never gonna give it up, oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah
People say Im crazy
They dont understand
They havent got a clue, oh no
They say, tell me everything
They say, let me hear you sing
I say, tell you what Im gonna do, oh yeah
cause Im gonna live my life the way I want to
Live it, live it the way I want ti
Trial by fire
Im gonna live my life, oh yeah, oh yeah
Trial by, trial by fire
So just roll the dice, oh yeah, oh yeah
Trial by, trial by fire, fire
Im gonna live it up, oh yeah, oh, oh, oh yeah
Trial by, yeah, fire, yeah
Im gonna live it up, oh yeah
Trial by, yeah, yeah, fire, yeah
Im gonna live my life, oh yeah

In our tabulation of psychoanalytic results, we have classed those who stopped treatment together with those not improved. This appears to be reasonable; a patient who fails to finish his treatment, and is not improved, is surely a therapeutic failure.

Lifetimes In The Chase
The money minded have lost time.
A devotion to the acquisition of it,
Has left them drained.
With nothing left to show,
But credits and debt...
With dwindling deposits.
And yet they've spent lifetimes in the chase.
With hopes that a refined taste,
Will take them out of the race.
The money minded have lost time.
A devotion to the acquisition of it,
Has left them drained.
With nothing left to show,
But credits and debt...
With dwindling deposits.
And yet they've spent lifetimes in the chase.
With hopes that a refined taste,
Will take them out of the race.
With a looking down from pedestals...
Upon those they've disgraced.
But those they thought would be disgraced,
Are not the ones hiding...
A shame that traces their faces.

Great Expectations
(eric carmen)
Seems everyday
Im gettin harder pressed
To find a reason to shave
Watchin the hours
Just slippin away
No motivation to get out of bed
And carry on the charade
Caught in a dream thats goin astray
Oh, all those great expectations
Seems they never work out, never work out
The way that I plan
All those great expectations
Why they never work out, never work out
I cant understand
And just when I think
That things are goin right
I get a call from l.a.
Sorry to say were changin your song
I try to reason
But I cant get through
Theyre gonna do it their way
What can I say
Theyve never been wrong
Oh, all those great expectations
Seems they never work out, never work out
The way that I plan
All those great expectations
Why they never work out, never work out
I cant understand
Life is just a game of chance
I think somebody said so
Sometimes you get a hula hoop
Sometimes you get an edsel
Oh, all those great expectations
Seems they never work out, never work out
The way that I plan
All those great expectations
Why they never work out, never work out
I cant understand

A sort of Poem about Fear
Are we all initially driven by FEAR?
Is this negative energy in the form of FEAR necessary in Her grand evolutionary scheme?
Perhaps FEAR is the great catalyst in which LOVE is refined:
FEAR of loss of means is refined to a motivational LOVE to find new, more positive means
FEAR of loss of community is refined to motivational LOVE to build and strengthen community
Fear of God is refined to motivational LOVE to protect and bask in all that IS.
Fear of loss of LOVE is oxymoronic as FEAR is the ABSENCE of LOVE
I am not afraid

Everything Is Broken
Broken lines, broken strings, broken threads, broken springs
Broken idols, broken heads, people sleeping in broken beds
Aint no use jivin, aint no use jokin
Everything is broken
Broken bottles, broken plates, broken switches, broken gates
Broken dishes, broken parts, streets are filled with broken hearts
Broken words never meant to be spoken
Everything is broken
Seems like every time you stop and turn around
Someone else has just hit the ground
Broken cutters, broken saws, broken buckles, broken laws
Broken bodies, broken bones, broken voices on broken phones
Take a deep breath, feel like youre chokin
Everything is broken
Every time you leave and go off some place
Things fall to pieces in my face
Broken hands on broken plows, broken treaties, broken vows
Broken pipes, broken tools, people bending broken rules
Hound dog howlin, bullfrog croakin
Everything is broken
