To substitute Scripture for the self-revealing Spirit is to put the dead letter in the place of the living Word.

Inspired By God
All of Scripture is God inspired, thus useful for our daily walk,
For by God it’s more than desired, that our life reflect our talk.
Teaching, correcting and training, in the way of righteousness,
All spoken by Him pertaining, to a Christian’s walk of holiness.
Equipped for the work of God, for Christ our Savior up above,
As we travel the earthly sod, showing a world the Savior’s love.
Furnished by the Word and Spirit, to reach into the outer parts,
With the Gospel to all who hear it, as His Spirit changes hearts.
The very words that we preach, within this lifetime, to everyone,
Are those that the Spirit will teach, to all who labor for The Son.
Being taught the essential Truth, of all the Living Word of God,
To live our life as living proof, everywhere on the earth we trod.
Even correction comes to us, through The Word when we read,
Guiding all who place their trust, in that Living Word, they heed.
Correcting all who go astray, wandering off the blessed course,
Lead back to God’s Narrow way, through the all Eternal Source.
Trained in the Truths of Eternity, that has their origin in The Lord,
And began before you and me, which will continue forevermore.
His training never has an end, when we begin to walk with Christ,
Learning from an eternal friend, what carries on into Eternal Life.
According To The Scriptures
When people think of God, in their minds eye they see many pictures,
But, the vision isn't valid unless it is according to the Scriptures.
When The Apostle Paul preached to the Bereans many came and heard,
But with eagerness they compared Paul's preaching to God's Holy Word.
Today many people will accept any doctrine with a compromising nod,
However doctrine must be refuted if it opposes the very Word of God.
If you want to truly know anything about the near or distant future,
There's only one place you should go, and it's God's Holy Scripture.
Pleas of Godly men in the Bible are not simply pious benedictions,
For living according to the Scriptures filled them with convictions.
Even Christ who was The Word, when He addressed Israel's teachers,
He qualified His own preaching, by pointing them to the Scriptures.
Reading from the scroll of Isaiah, as His time of death was nearing,
He finished saying today this scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.
And even though many men wanted to kill Him, much to their surprise,
They would see more of Scripture fulfilled right before their eyes.
Even among the skeptics of today as in the past, every eye shall see,
Christ's continuing Revelation, fulfilling His Sure Word of Prophecy.
Christ died and was buried for our sins according to the Scriptures,
He was raised and is coming back again according to the Scriptures.

Relying On The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is enough for me, as I’ve been sealed for eternity,
Sealed, by The Spirit of Christ, with His guarantee of Eternal Life;
The Spirit, the only teacher I need, as Truth, He helps me to heed,
Guiding me through all my days, for Christ’s Glory and His Praise.
For The Spirit opened my eyes, to discern Truth from Satan’s lies,
Teaching me the Ways of God, while led by Christ’s staff and rod,
Growing in His Truth and Love, assisted by His Spirit, from above,
Teaching me God’s Truth day to day, as I travel life’s Narrow Way.
It’s the work of God’s Holy Spirit, to shed light on Truth as I hear it,
Revealing Truths, that I never heard, from God’s Holy, Living Word.
From The Truth, revealed to men, by God’s Spirit, I am Born Again,
Believing in Christ and Him alone, I became one of God’s very own.
As God’s Spirit led me to believe, The Truth of God I would receive,
Believing the Saving Truth of Christ, I received in the Spirit New Life,
And at that very time and place, my life was changed, by His Grace,
Never again would it be the same; all by the power of Christ’s Name.
It is in Christ, that I now abide, through The Spirit, Who dwells inside,
And in God’s Spirit, I fully rely, in the same power from God on high,
Sent to comfort Children of God, while they journey this earthly sod,
Who will also, soon snatch us away, to Heaven on that Glorious day.

For Scripture is the school of the Holy Spirit, in which, as nothing is omitted that is both necessary and useful to know, so nothing is taught but what is expedient to know. Therefore we must guard against depriving believers of anything disclosed about predestination in Scripture, lest we seem either wickedly to defraud them of the blessing of their God or to accuse and scoff at the Holy Spirit for having published what it is in any way profitable to suppress.

The Living Word
I thank God for the day I heard the proclamation of The Living Word.
Faith comes from hearing, my friend, hearing the very Word of God,
Now The Word goes with me always to be proclaimed wherever I trod.
I thank The Lord as The Living Word entered my heart the day I heard.
The Word is very powerful my friend, as sharp as a two-edged sword.
It penetrates to divide soul and spirit to the attitude of the heart,
Convicting one of what really matters, once The Spirit truly starts.
The Word will fulfill its purpose as The Living God is not ignored.
The Living Word can truly change you, with no doubt about its power.
It took me from a world of darkness, where I lived but had no sight,
And opened my eyes from spiritual blindness into a world of light.
Maybe if you heard The Word you would accept Him this very hour.
But how can they hear and believe if no one has been sent to preach?
How can they have the inner peace deep within that will never cease?
Beautiful are the feet of those who preach the Good News of peace.
That is why I so eagerly choose to seek any available heart to reach.
As you face life's final curtain The Word alone is full of certainty.
God has prepared a place in Paradise for all of those who are His,
And for the unwise, fools and scoffers, He's prepared a fiery abyss.
God's not hindered by your uncertainty and ahead for all is Eternity.

Walk, Press, Swim
Walk on, walk on
By the Power of the Spirit of the living God
Walk on, walk on.
I walk by a different drum
Walk on, walk on
By the Power of the Spirit of the living God
Walk on, walk on.
Seek truth, knowledge, wisdom, understanding.
Walk on, walk on,
By the Power of the Spirit of the living God
Walk on, walk on.
Walk in the water of the word.
Walk on, walk on
By the Power of the Spirit of the living God
Walk in the water of the word,
Walk on, walk on!
Press in, press in.
By the Power of the Spirit of the living God.
Press in, press in.
Press in deeper
By the Power of the Spirit of the living God
Press in deeper.
Press in deeper
By the Power of the spirit of the living God.
Press in deeper!
Swim on, swim on,
By the Power of the Spirit of the living God
Swim on, swim on.
Swim a little deeper.
Oh, yea, Swim on, swim on,
By the Power of the Spirit of the living God
Swim on, swim on.
Prophesy, speak my word.
Swim on, swim on
By the Power of the Spirit of the living God.
Swim on, swim on!

The Spirit Of Jfk
Let the word go forth
Let the word go forth
From this time and place
Good evening my fellow citizens
Im speaking tonight in a spirit of hope
In the human spirit, the human spirit
Lee harvey oswald
Oh, no
Jack ruby
Oswald and ruby
Oh, no
To friend and foe alike
Oswald and ruby
My god, have you heard
The president is dead
Oswald and ruby
They do not imprison spirits
Oswald and ruby
They do not imprison spirits
The president is dead
Well, I know where that 3rd shot came from
The grassy knoll
Behind the picket fence
The energy, the faith, the function
Which we bring to this endeavor
Well fight our country and all who serve it
And the glow from that fire
Can truly light the world
History will record the facts
I didnt shoot anybody
Lee harvey oswald
Why should anybody serve?
Why should anybody serve?
Jack harvey oswald
We have learned in times past
The spirit of one moment or place
Can be gone in the next

Four Down And Twelve Across
I dont know what to think of it
Sometimes I hate it
Sometimes I love it
Girl, this relationship were in
To say the least its puzzlin
Like a crossword puzzle
Fill in the blanks
Chorus:
Whats four down and twelve across
Two letter synonym for lost Thats me
And a three letter word
That rhymes with through
Oh I get it, thats you
Never believed in horoscopes
But to the left of the ad
For a new dishwashin soap
Dear Abbys got some good advice
For a troubled couple lost in paradise
In the Living section
Page two
Whats four down and twelve across
Two letter synonym for lost
Thats me
And a three letter word
That rhymes with through
Oh, I get it
Thats you, thats me, thats us
Sometimes love aint enough
We try and try
For the life of me, why did we give up
Chorus
Thats me
Oh, thats us
Whats four down and twelve across Thats us

No Man Knows
No man knows the day or hour, when The Lord shows His Power,
Coming for the Church of God, to take men from the earth’s sod,
When only those who truly believe, Christ, The Lord shall receive,
On our Lord’s predetermined Day, regardless what men shall say.
For many by their own deduction, distort Scripture to destruction,
Distorting Scripture in their mind, while leaving valid Truth behind,
Many words from our Dear Lord, by these teachers goes ignored,
Passages in the Word of God, they dismiss with an arrogant nod.
Their appetites are not God’s Truth, but their desires unto reproof,
Straying from what prophets said, to preach all they want instead,
Today they’re judged by men, but their words God shall condemn,
All their prophecies spoke arrogantly, will fail for all people to see.
Still other men will follow suit, with teachings God shall not repute,
As they distort Holy Scripture, not true to God’s prophetic picture,
Skewed becomes God’s Revelation, by man’s simple imagination,
Untruths that cause many to jeer, at The Word, that all should fear.
Men’s prophecies continue to fail, while God’s Truths shall prevail,
And just as God stated my friend, knowing the beginning and end;
By these men doubts are raised, but God’s Word shall be praised,
When all the Scripture we have read, shall be fulfilled as God said!
Substitute For Love
Written by Madonna, William Orbit, Rod McKuen, Anita Kerr and David Collins
I traded fame for love
Without a second thought
It all became a silly game
Some things cannot be bought
Got exactly what I asked for
Wanted it so badly
Running, rushing back for
more
I suffered fools
So gladly
And now I find
I've changed my mind
The face of you
My substitute for love
My substitute for love
Should I wait for you
My substitute for love
My substitute for love
I traveled round the world
Looking for a home
I found myself in crowded rooms
Feeling so alone
Had so many lovers
Who settled for the thrill
Of basking in my spotlight
I never felt
So happy
The face of you
My substitute for love
My substitute for love
Should I wait for you
My substitute for love
My substitute for love
mmmmmm
ooooooo
No famous faces, far off places
Trinkets I can buy
No handsome stranger, heady danger
Drug that I can try
No ferris wheel, no heart to steal
No laughter in the dark
No one night stand, no far off land
No fire that I can spark
mmmmm?
The face of you
My substitute for love
My substitute for love
Should I wait for you
My substitute for love
My substitute for love

The Soil And Stone Too Are Living Things
the hair on its own
is a line of dead cells
but when it's on the head
it's part of a living spirit
the sand on its own is a
startling patch of the reality
of the non living
but put in the water, put in air
light and seeds and it
becomes a part of the living world
take away any of these the living entity
dwindles into a dead plane

Work Is A Four-letter Word
Loving you is driving me crazy
People say that you were born lazy
cause you say that
Work is a four-letter word
So change your life
There is so much I know
That you can do
Come and see ...
Wide-awake
And take all of this love
That is waiting for you
If you stay
Ill stay right beside you
And my love
May help to remind you
To forget that
Work is a four-letter word
I dont need
A house thats a showplace
I just feel
That were going no place
While you say that
Work is a four-letter word
So change your life
There is so much I know
You can do
Come and see ...
Wide-awake
And take all of this love
That is waiting for you
If you stay
Ill stay right beside you
And my love
Might help to remind you
To forget that
Work is a four-letter word
Oh ...
I dont need
A house thats a showplace
I just feel
That were going no place
While you say that
Work is a four-letter word
So change your life
There is so much I know
That you can do
Please come and see ...
Wide-awake
And take all of this love
That is waiting for you

The Word
Find the word, understand the word,
Depend on the word;
The word is heaven and space, the word the earth,
The word the universe.
The word is in our ears, the word is on our tongues,
The word the idol.
The word is the holy book, the word is harmony,
The word is music.
The word is magic, the word the Guru.
The word is the body, the word is the spirit, the word is being,
The word Not-being.
The word is man, the word is woman,
The Worshipped Great.
The word is the seen and unseen, the word is the existent
And the non-existent.
Know the word, says Kabir,
The word is All-powerful.
Love Is Just A Four Letter Word
love is just a four letter word
no one knows what love is
you can argue all yo want about being in love
even grown ups dont know what love is
love sucks
love hates
love breaks
love is just a four letter word
love waits, and love does not pressure
love is just a word
is love even real
how would you know
love is all you hear about
i love her, i love him
NO YOU DONT
love is kind
love is a feeling
how do u know when someone really loves you
love is just a four letter word

Today... 'The Word
Word of love and the Word made flesh
Word incarnate forever blessed
Word of life and the Word of light
Word of power and Word of might.
Word that was spoken, Word of the Lord
Word of the Law and the Word of God
Word of peace and Word eternal
Word of truth and last Word of all.
Word of wisdom and the Word of healing
Word from heaven, a Word so appealing
Word fulfilling the Word of prophecy
Word of the Spirit and Word of destiny.
Word of exhortation and Word of grace
Word of encouragement and Word of faith
Word of promise and a Word of insight
Word from the beginning and Word of delight.
Word of knowledge and a Word of boldness
Word of peace and the Word of righteousness
Word of the covenant and Word of love
Word of the Father from heaven above.

Love Ain't Nothing But A Four Letter Word
She was waiting alone at the station praying for her train to arrive
Thinking bout her destination, the tattered bag had all she had in life
She turned her back on her family, she turned her back on her friends
She turned her back on a married man when she took off that wedding band
She said, Im giving up, silver clouds have turned to grey
Had enough, theres got to be a better way
Giving up, you know youve gotta walk
Theres some things in life still worth fighting for
Aint no big secret so forget all you heard
Love aint nothing but a four-letter word
For some its for better, for some its for worse
Love aint nothing but a four-letter word
Love aint nothing
This time he said was the last time, last time he said just the same
In your heart you know that theyll be a next time
That your battered bones would have to explain
Givin up, nothings changing but the score
Had enough, every night love turns to war
Give it up, gave it all and wanted more
It aint nothing worth dying for
Its no big secret so forget all you heard
Love aint nothing but a four-letter word
For some its a blessing, for some its a curse
Love aint nothing but a four-letter word
Love aint nothing
Forget your mamas rosary beads to get you through this time of need
You know you gotta cross that line
You take it one day at a time
Had enough, the silver clouds all turning grey
Im heading for a better day
No big secret so forget all you heard
Love aint nothing but a four-letter word
For some its for better, for some its for worse
Love aint nothing but a four-letter word
Love aint nothing (it aint nothing now, baby)
Love aint nothing but a four-letter word
Love aint nothing (nothing now, baby)
Love aint nothing but a four-letter word
Love aint nothing (yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)
Love aint nothing but a four-letter word
Love aint nothing...
Love aint nothing but a four-letter word

The Fanaticism which discards the Scripture, under the pretense of resorting to immediate revelations is subversive of every principle of Christianity. For when they boast extravagantly of the Spirit, the tendency is always to bury the Word of God so they may make room for their own falsehoods.

No Love / Just Fate
Love what is love,
is it not the confusion we create threw the misconception of another four letter word -Lust
-
Lust what is lust,
but ones sensual desire to explore someone elses body with the soul intention of pleasure without commitment therefore avoiding the most important but five letter word -Trust
-
Trust what is trust,
is it not the secret to everlasting friendship threw the disposal of another four letter word-Envy
-
Envy what is envy,
but the one thing most capable of destroying the illusion of love for it is the main cause of my next four letter word-Pain
-
Pain what is pain,
is it not what we all have to endure to to maintain that which we are mislead to desire from birth -Love
-
Love what is love,
is it not the illusion we create in ones own mind to dissolve our deepest subconscious fear of dieing alone even though we have not the choice due to this four letter word-Fate
-
Fate what is fate,
is it not inevitable

Scripture of the Zen
The universe is scripture of the Zen,
and while our inner feelings come and go,
its feelings form an archipelago
where on an island prison live most men.
The scripture, when it’s read, helps to release
the feelings which, confined, lead to confusion,
but once they’re understood help to increase
the sense that life is more than an illusion
The scripture of the universe does not
require any priests or temples, and
interpretation of its poetry and plot
is what Zen masters hope we’ll understand
at every moment of our lives. It changes
according to the moment and the season,
sometimes remote as Himalayan ranges,
sometimes approachable with rhyme and reason.
With this scripture we can reach the realm
where thoughts that are exposed are safely bared,
but not allowed by us to overwhelm
the universe that we have always shared
with all the living creatures and the plants
that God created long before the day
that He created Man, whose hierophants
believe that only they know how to pray.
