I don't think there's any one definition, but to do effective political work you have to have vision and practicality, and learn how to persuade people that what you feel needs to be done does need to be done.

The main problem is that for a boycott to be effective, you must first persuade thousands - maybe even millions of others - to go along, which is a lot of work and usually not successful.

My political hero
There's something about him
There's something about him
It’s not just his looks
Or the fact he’s a great cook
How do I fathom a man?
That is a tremendous success
I say this not to impress
When you hear him address congress
With words so tantalizing even to the press
You may agree and confess to his greatness
There's something about him
There's something about him
A man of the people
So gentle and simple
Gifted with imagination
Passionate with dedication
Master of the political game
A man with vision
And one on a mission
Somewhere in my head
I know it might sound weird
It is nothing to do with the bed
He is my political hero
Political hero of tomorrow
Political hero!
Political hero!
My political hero
Future leader of tomorrow
I praise thy name
Even if you can’t hear
I praise it all the same

Political and social events must also be effective, but not in a very obvious fashion. But political confusion and prolonged peace undoubtedly affect creative thought but whether they respectively hinder or help it is not at all certain.

Definition Of Internal Loneliness
What is hard to do,
Is find a definition of internal loneliness.
Thousands feel it
But they have a hard time defining it.
One doesn't need a definition
When one is suffering from the condition.
You know it
When you have it,
And you suffer from it.

Theses, faeces, syntheses
O the language of the thesis!
O the octopus of Academe!
‘As I argued in my previous book,
‘Some definitions of ‘definition’ in contemporary philosophy’ –
an argument which I hope to pursue
in a following volume, (and I quote) :
‘to define what we mean by ‘definition’
we must first consider
the nature of definition:
can it be itself defined? Is
its definition itself a retreat
from what definition defines? …’
and the wood of academic chairs
creaking as a lecture ends,
from which once the young sap rose
like the hope of definition
dries, decays and dessicates.

Deductive Reasoning
Learn to spell...
Well.
Learn to articulate,
With unmistakable known and correct...
Definition others united together and accept.
Be specific in thought.
Without confusion to dilute,
Into invitations to debate.
Misunderstandings often arise,
When connections aren't firmly tied.
And if you are misunderstood,
Because a clarity has been overshadowed...
By a metaphor or two,
Not intended by you to use...
To diffuse.
Learn more math.
Since the exactness of it teaches,
There are areas of life yet to be lived,
By many not seeking to reach a clarity of vision.
With a concentrated effort needing less to hear...
What is spoken 'thought' to be from a pulpit preached.

The definition of a great
friend is.....
Sticking by you no matter what.
The definition of a great

To dry away wet tears when you are you are down
The definition of a great
friend is....
To unstick you, when your struck
The definition of a great
friend is....
To help you through the hard times
The definition of a great
friend is....
To tell you when are wrong, to teach you to do riight.
The Definition of a great
friend is.....
to pray with you through hard times, to give a hand when your in need and hug you and let you see.

Warnings Aren't As Effective
Most times a warning,
Isn't as effective...
As the experience itself.
A child seems not to learn,
Until an action taken...
Creates the right affect.
It's like overeating and cheating.
Two essentially different concepts,
When one defines them.
However...
Lieing about either one of them,
Produces the same result.
Embarrassment.
And...
It eventually shows.
Most people who are embarrassed...
Immediately seek to deny the truth.
Most times warnings aren't as effective,
As the experience itself.
And...
The experience once admitted,
Doesn't have to be devastating...
If one seeks the right counseling,
And is determined to be honest with 'self'...
To get from under the weight,
Of what becomes obvious to many as seen.

When the effective leader is finished with his work, the people say it happened naturally.
I have seen how effective language attached to policies that are mainstream and delivered by people who are passionate and effective can change the course of history.

Is It?
Is it perserverance
That makes us strive and achieve success?
Is it guilt
That makes us try again when we give up?
Is it practicality
That makes us learn from our mistakes?
Or is it pigheadedness
When we can't reach success
Or whining
When we feel like giving up
Or carelessness
When we make mistakes we shouldn't have?
~
Is it mercy
That makes a person end the life of a pained and ailing family member?

Children of Our Age
We are children of our age,
it's a political age.
All day long, all through the night,
all affairs--yours, ours, theirs--
are political affairs.
Whether you like it or not,
your genes have a political past,
your skin, a political cast,
your eyes, a political slant.
Whatever you say reverberates,
whatever you don't say speaks for itself.
So either way you're talking politics.
Even when you take to the woods,
you're taking political steps
on political grounds.
Apolitical poems are also political,
and above us shines a moon
no longer purely lunar.
To be or not to be, that is the question.
And though it troubles the digestion
it's a question, as always, of politics.
To acquire a political meaning
you don't even have to be human.
Raw material will do,
or protein feed, or crude oil,
or a conference table whose shape
was quarreled over for months;
Should we arbitrate life and death
at a round table or a square one?
Meanwhile, people perished,
animals died,
houses burned,
and the fields ran wild
just as in times immemorial
and less political.

Going ahead with living in a better way than most of you do
Kingdom of the blind
Welcome to our kingdom
Where we all stay blind
None having the sense of vision
None having the idea of colour
None able to dream a scene
As none can hold a figure in mind
But thanks to Braille,
Who made us read and learn
We study not to win a certificate
But to develop our physical
And mental skills so that
We can serve our community
We get up and move in a set direction
And after making a set number of steps
We reach our work site, which can be
A work bench or paddy field or any other place
Like the one where you people work
When we work, we work only
When we eat, we eat only
And when we sleep, we sleep only
We too have families
Sons and daughters and all of them
Blessed with blindness
We too laugh and we also cry
Only at the appropriate occasions
We never become emotionally down
For a thing that has not occurred
Nothing frightens us as the
Darkness, the most frightening, is always around us
We look ahead for a right future
And are not after a bright future
As you people long for
Though blind, it was never dark
In our mind, but it glows with peace and love
Love pervades our hearts,
Which are not penetrated
By the external just-material-revealing light
We know happenings around the world
We hear news, but do not see events
We do not desire much
The only desire we hold to our hearts is
To keep alive the desire to learn
And to apply what little learnt
For the benefits of our fellow beings
We may not have the sense of vision
Our other senses are in tact
And make up fully whatever lost
Because of this deformity
We hear, better than most of you do
We feel for others, better than most of you do
Our olfactory system is a bit more sensitive than yours
We fail not to smell the scent of soil
And the fragrance of even a little blossom
Our touch is more soothing than your touch
Many of us get a cure from our touch
We move with heartful of love
We live with a heart, full with contentment
We nurse a bubbling enthusiasm
We invite you all to this wonder world
And to enjoy the hospitality extended
By those, whom you think suffer
And struggle for survival
You will understand
Though we had a physical non-function
We are not handicapped and
Going ahead with living in a better way
Than most of you do
