It is work, work that one delights in, that is the surest guarantor of happiness. But even here it is a work that has to be earned by labor in one's earlier years. One should labor so hard in youth that everything one does subsequently is easy by comparison.

I did; in rising, peering, stretching, bearing,

If someone asks you why you work
You’d say that he was quite a quirk
All he says he does all day
Is sit around and drink Perrier
He says that you are quite a bloke
But you think: at least I am never broke
He wonders why you labor so
And end up covered in dirt from head to toe
And when the work is said and done
You don’t go out and have some fun
You back home and read some lore
Have some diner and work some more!
He said to you on that fine day
Look at me I’ve got it made

Would do physical slog using tools!

Prayer to St Joseph the Worker
Glorious St. Joseph, model of all who are devoted to labor, obtain for me the grace to work conscientiously, putting the call of duty above my natural inclinations; to work with gratitude and joy, considering it an honor to employ and develop, by means of labor, the gifts received from God, disregarding difficulties and weariness; to work, above all, with purity of intention and with detachment from self, having always before my eyes death, and the account which I must render of time lost, of talents wasted, of good omitted, of vain complacency in success, so fatal to the work of God. My Complaint
Work never seems to end
day in-n-out working goes.
Please may I get a break some time
in the break, work seems to grow.
It is like the weeds I see
in the soil, they seem to grow.
How ever I may pluck them out;
they find there way again and sow.
Work-a-haloes is what my friend call me.
to them work is easy cake
But work in-n-out like me
and you’ll be a hockey stick.
Work-n-work-n-work I see
even work in everyday chores.
