I make it clear why I write as I do and why other poets write as they do. After hundreds of experiments I decided to go my own way in style and see what would happen.

It Was A Decision Made
Everytime I begin to write,
I have an encounter with reality.
Something within me validates with a scrutiny,
What there is I believe I am provoked to say.
As if to preview the doing before it is released.
I am often asked if I like to write.
And I never gave what I've been doing all my life,
That much thought.
I do not premeditate a doing.
It is as natural to me as using the bathroom.
It was not I that decided I would write.
It was a decision made.
It was not I that decided I would be creative.
It was a decision made.
It was not I that decided I was to be born.
But then...
Sometimes I feel a need to debate it.

I Decided
[Chorus]
I decided to stay home tonite
I decided I'ma treat you right
I decided to be there for you
Decided to be on my P's and Q's
I decided to give up my friends
Decided I'ma take you out weekends
Decided to give you a reason to trust
These are decisions that I make for love
[Verse 1]
Enough is enough no more running around
(Searchin' for what's right here at home)
Because my luck is 'bout to turn around
(And I just can't keep doin' you wrong)
Girl I take it for granted that you will be here always
(Tired of this ego trip)
'Cause soon you'll be searchin' for another man
And I just can't have that happen to me
[Chorus]
[Verse 2]
Now I've had about all that I can stand no more
(I'm turnin' in my playa's card)
See I'm retirin' from the secret life I chose
(Cause I just can't keep breakin' your heart)
It was silly of me to be the way that I was
(First was blind

A Poem Just For You
Today I decided to write a poem just for you
So I sat down with pen in hand, and began to
Carefully consider in which way I could express to you
All the things you mean to me,
First I thought to write a poem about your radiant smile,
All about how you easily outshine the sun.
Or perhaps a poem about our friendship,
All about the kind things you do that fill my heart.
A poem about how grateful I am to have you in my life
All about how I thank God every day for putting you here.
But I decided to write this poem on something else
All about something that is a poem in itself
A poem that simply says I love you
A poem just for you.

It Is In The Blood
some people write
saying it runs in the family
it is inside the code
of its blood
corpuscles
it's the gene that makes
the hand write
my papa is a farmer and my
mama is a schoolteacher
no one in the family writes
what i hear is always a chatter
a murmur
a burst of emotions
broken plates
and broken doors
what i hear is always an
explosion
of light bulbs
the doors knew nothing
but slams
and the TV is loud with
horror
i have learned the secret
of silence
and since then
i have decided to write
i write for no one
i am attuned to having no one
this is for myself
and when i am no longer here
someone may read it
and say
This is myself too
and it is me that matters
alone, for i do not expect much
from ears neither from mouths
even from
the hearts.

A Not a Poem Poem
A Not a Poem Poem
I will not write a poem
For I am not a poet
I cannot makes things rhyme
I’ve tried for quite some time
So will I write a poem?
NO!
I can’t write poetry
I’ve tried to all my life
Once, I tried to write a poem
About a husband and his wife
It sounded really silly
So I crumbled it up into a ball
That’s why I decided
That I couldn’t write poetry at all
Am I gonna write a poem?
NO!
Well, I’ll try to write a poem
But it will be really bad
It will be absolutely lousy
It will be completely horrible
It won’t be up to snuff
People will say, “Who wrote this stuff? ”
Will my poem be good?
NO!
Can I write a poem?
NO!
Will I write a poem?
NO!
Well, what do you know! ? !
I wrote a poem!
And it’s a pretty good poem, too!
I guess I can write poetry if I try
The next time I’m asked to write a poem,
Will I say no?
NO!

Up in that room I decided that I would write one story about each thing that I knew about. I was trying to do this all the time I was writing, and it was good and severe discipline.

Tomorrow
Day after day, Im waiting
And Id lie for you.
Id die for you.
And it makes me laugh to think
That I ever heard you say
I love you.
I might never see you again,
But Ill get along
cuz Ill always know
Tomorrow will happen just like today.
Tomorrow will happen, dont care what they say.
Night after night, you used me.
Im afraid of you.
I hated you.
I wanted a chance to run
To get away,
I thought you knew.
I might never see you again,
But Ill get along
cuz Ill always know
Tomorrow will happen just like today.
Tomorrow will happen, dont care what they say.
My life would be right if you only knew,
Id come back tomorrow to be with you.
Tomorrow will happen just like today.
Tomorrow will happen, dont care what they say.
My life would be right if you only knew,
Id come back tomorrow to be with you.

Majestic Ecstasy
I wish I knew you before...
You decided to cry,
For the rest of your life...
With that state of mind.
When will you feel deserving to accept,
A happiness that is within your reach...
Just for you,
Free of past regrets.
Although I know it is unrecognizable.
Perhaps disposable as well.
And on that,
I am not willing to bet, yet.
Forget those promises and missteps made.
I thought with us we would clear the slate.
And be done of those mistakes.
With others who came to introduced to us,
Baggage with issues packed...
To share with us their every heartbreak.
I wish I knew you before...
You decided to cry,
For the rest of your life.
With that state of mind.
You can not be honest with me!
Not if you aren't able to leave,
That hypnotic bleeding behind.
When am I going to occupy some of that time?
When will I begin to see,
The one I knew who now plays seek and find!
I am yours.
But not a part of you...
Radiates onto me to shine.
I'd like to know,
More than one piece of you...
You keep for me and say it's mine!
I wish I knew you before...
You decided to cry,
For the rest of your life.
With that state of mind.
I hope one day we will really come to meet.
Before, during or after...
When we do,
Come.
Together when we together...
With a majestic ecstasy,
Come when we meet.

I Want To Write A Sad Poem Today
how i wish to write a sad poem today
for instance: wilting grasses and dried river beds
stinging heat of the sun
cinder like sands of the shore
heat waves, and melting ice caps
something like there is no place that is cool
to my senses,
how i wish i can write the poem about a mad woman
and a husband that always follows her laughter,
how i wish not to be affected by such a sad poem
but i am
and i do not wish to add insult to injury for writing it
and so
i quit, i will not write a sad poem about other people,
that will be too much,
i decided not to write about it anymore.
i will forget about it. I will write something much better.
i will write about
nothing at all.

Please Dont Fall In Love
I know that youre with him just now as I write
I know you need someone to hold you at night
But Im begging you, baby
Please dont fall in love
I knew it might happen when I was away
And now that its happened, I just want to say
That Im begging you, baby
Please dont fall in love
Im usually strong but Im feeling so weak
It wells up inside me, I cry when I speak
But the more I call you on the phone
The more I feel alone
And the less we have to say
I know that youre with him just now as I write
I know you need someone to hold you at night
But Im begging you, baby
Please dont fall in love
I knew it might happen when I was away
And now that its happened, I just want to say
That Im begging you, baby
Please dont fall in love
We kissed at the airport, we said we could wait
I believe it is we who determine our fate
And I love you more than I can say
Dont throw it all away
Dont let it go by
I know that youre with him just now as I write
I know you need someone to hold you at night
But Im begging you, baby
Please dont fall in love
I know you dont tell me, to spare me the pain
Dont want you to tell me, I dont need his name
That Im begging you, baby
Please dont fall in love

Cover yourself reality is about to happen
Cover yourself reality is about to happen.
They live together with happyness yes they are married i know. Daddy daddy she calls mama mommy he call things are okay. They smile nonestop laugh nonestop talk none stop but alcohol had to stop it.
Cover yourself reality is about to happen.
They created off springs beautiful and handsome what do they know they are kids. They then decided love was enough so insults can come in kids will understand violence began its not abuse they say they are inlove even though he strangles her to hospital its okay.
Cover yourself reality is about to happen
i'd rather get a ben 10 then ill be in control. So does he as sugar daddy dont worry kids are asleep.
Are you sure?
If yes how sure are you?
Devorce apeared kids are awake they forget kids do what they see not told. They got into the sugar mama dady story.
Got kids and hid them just like mama and daddy did...
Cover yourself reality is to happen
they decided truth be told...
Yet some were asleep under for the truth was too much history does it again
cover yourself reality is about to happen and this is another episode of life

I Wanted To Write The One Poem Everyone Would Remember
I wanted to write the one poem everyone would remember
Though I knew it had already been written many times by others-
I wanted to write the one poem
Which long after I was dead
Would say to me when I could not hear
‘You will live forever as Literature’
I knew I probably would not write that poem -
This is certainly not it -
I knew ‘Trying’ too is not enough
And yet
Here I am with my desires and my life
And as my father said the world is going by
And who am I to ever hope
To catch up with it?

I decided to become a painter when my first four paintings where all published and attracted a great deal of interest. I exhibited one of them and it was sold.
Make a living will. Talk about it. Death is going to happen to everybody. Write it down. Even if you write it on a piece of paper at home and have your family witness it, you need to write it down.

Y
Don't ask us Y!
We do the things that we do
Don't ask us Y!
We feel the same as you
Don't ask us Y!
Life can be so damn cruel
Don't ask us Y!
It's all been decided for you
Pure soul first breath is filled with sin
A young child just born quit suffering
A mother's greed, get high, chasin' ghosts again
This will happen over and over again!
Don't ask us Y!
We do the things that we do
Don't ask us Y!
We feel the same as you
Don't ask us Y!
Life can be so damn cruel
Don't ask us Y!
It's all been decided for you
I look into your eyes, I feel your pain, life's insane
I'm gonna do my best to try again and live again
I know we're all the same, we live our lives it's like a game
And still we do it over and over again!
Don't ask us Y!
We do the things that we do
Don't ask us Y!
We feel the same as you
Don't ask us Y!
Life can be so damn cruel
Don't ask us Y!
It's all been decided for you
First communion done, now your life has just begun
Second plot the whole world is looking with a gun
Another child will do it when he's on the run
The vicious circle of life has just begun!
Don't ask us Y!
We do the things that we do!
Don't ask us Y!
We feel the same as you!
Don't ask us Y!
Life can be sooo cruel!
Don't ask us Y!
It's all been decided for you!
Don't ask us Y!
We feel the same as you
Don't ask us Y!
Life can be so damn cruel
Don't ask us Y!
It's all been decided for you
Don't ask us Y!
We do the things that we do
Don't ask us Y!
We feel the same as you
Don't ask us Y!
We feel the same as you
Don't ask us Y!
We feel the same as you
Don't ask us Y!
It's all, yeah, it's all
Don't ask us Y!
It's all decided for you

I Decided
I decided not to cry
'cause I know
you cannot wipe my tears
I decided not to ask
'cause I know you cannot give
I decided not to give
'cause I know you will reject
I decided not to speak
'cause I know
you will be...hurt.
I decided to decide
'cause I know....
I have to.

It Can't Be That Hard To Do
One can teach another,
Hygiene.
Depending on the age,
A listening begins.
With an influential meaning.
Discipline and respect too,
Should be taught early.
Before someone reaches pre-school.
Once can teach another,
How to cook.
How to drive.
How to come and go,
With identity and pride.
But teaching one from experience,
The rudiments needed to survive one's life.
Is like teaching one the aspects of motivation,
Desire and drive.
And if one is not energized,
By an inspiration that developes from with inside.
Will take the patience of someone just arriving,
From another planet.
To explain to someone,
That expresses no interest in learning to read OR write.
That 'these' elements are required prerequisites,
If one seeks to have a book.
They envision to see published!
'Why should I have to learn to read or write?
I don't have time for that! '
~And.
What is it you wish that I do for you? ~
'Help me get published.
You did it.
It can't be that hard to do.'
